Looking for the best primer to wear under Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. I get shiny on my forehead and chin by end of day
my skin has been oily for years, i would get a pimple here and there when i usually ate one chocolate, skin has always been on the bumpy side though, and i have alot of uneven skin tone. now to try to get rid of the oils and bumpiness my sister recommend using the body shop tea tree soap, then the body shot vitamin c scrub and them the tea tree face mask and to sleep in it. i tried it and got chemical burn, completely broke me out and make my skin more sensitive to everything, i used to be able to use estee lauder double wear and now even that breaks me out. ive tried all the vitamins everyone has recommended, i tried clinique, stirvectin, hydrolic acid, now im on cerave the light blue bottle face wash, i tone put the hydrolic serum and face moisturizer im so close to giving up, my face just looks horrible now i have alot of scarring, still bumpy and red. its embarrassing, any recommendations welcomed!!
So I have been using Esteé Lauder’s double wear foundation but by the end of the day my face looks cakey, my pores are showing through, and it looks gross honestly. Does anyone else have this problem?
I’m thinking it might be the moisturizer I’m using, the setting spray or the powder...

This is gross but I’m having SUCH a problem with crusty acne. It looks so gross and I’m not sure what to do to heal it or cover it up in the day. Thoughts?? This is with some Estée Lauder double wear concealer
What is a good foundation for very oily skin? I currently use Estée Lauder double wear but my face is still oily within 2 hours :/ and use pore professional primer and urban decay setting spray!!! Okay I have tried so many foundation lately, and like nothing. 😭 I tried Estée Lauder double wear since EVERYONE swears by.. it broke me out terribly (yes it was the foundation I switched nothing else and waited for my skin to clear before trying it again). Other foundations I’ve tried below...suggestions please prefer a matte finish.
-Clinique Stay matte
- Too Faced Born this way
-Urban Decay all nighter
What is a good CLEANSING OIL? I want to start double cleansing, and I’m not sure what to use! Preferably something not super expensive (Christmas is too close), but i would like to hear any suggestions! Also, a good PM cleanser would be a bonus! I’m almost out of my face wash and am wanting to try something new. My main concern in my face is my hormonal acne. I really love ANYTHING hydrating, brightening, and smoothing. Thanks in advance!☺️

Looking for recommendations for a cleansing oil or balm for removing makeup at the end of the day that does not have coconut oil or any palm derivative. Currently use micellar water but my face is getting drier (accutane 😒) and think an oil would be less irritating. Will double cleanse but want one that doesn’t leave too much of a residue when rinsed off with water. Minimal or no fragrance would also be great!
I really like the Estée Lauder double wear stay in place foundation but I don’t like the price tag. I love the full coverage and it works well with my red and combination skin. Does anyone know of any dupes that are just a little cheaper than the retail of $42?
ISO a foundation that does not cake at the corners of my mouth and my chin. I’ve tried Mac, Kay von d, Estée Lauder double wear. Currently using maybelline fit me. Price doesn’t matter if it works 🤷🏻♀️
I am looking for a foundation that last about 10-12hours. My skin is super dry but I also work a long shift and usually end up sweating on my face now that it’s turning into summer. I notice most foundations crack, separate and cling to patches above my upper lip,on my nose and the creases of my nose and chin. I was using the estè lauder double wear or the born this way too faced and those do it as well.
Any tips or recommendations?
