redness relief

as far as the color is concerned i'm milk chocolate colored with red undertones and this looks beautiful on me

- Sephora User

i'm very pale and my natural lip color is already like a pinkish red and this totally enhances the natural pigment of my lips making it seem like if i was wearing a lipstick

- Sephora User

uneven skintone

evens out skin

it is a subtle shine which highlights the natural undertones on the lips : basically it looks slightly different on everybody but always super flattering

i am east asian with light to medium warm toned skin

" this product on me is bright fuscia

- Sephora User

basically without any lip products my lips are a pale, dry looking mauve color, but this lip glow changes it to be a brightening medium pink

- Sephora User

it feels really great on the lips, doesn't crack (although it's a gloss so i wasn't expecting that anyway), smells pleasantly minty but doesn't irritate the lips, and generally makes me really happy

- Sephora User

the gentle sugar crystals briefly exfoliate your lips and then melt away into a balm, lightly moisturizing your lips with a fresh pink color

- Sephora User

this product give you a smooth texture when you apply on your lip, nice hydrating effect, and it appears natural looking to last longer

- Sephora User

super smooth texture that lasts for a long time

- Sephora User

bad for acne

but it made me break out which is really sad because i loveeee everything else about it

- Sephora User

and the after-feel is weird, it leaves the lips thin and sensitive and prone to chapping

Mood Lipstick Refined

Remember way back when there was that green or blue lipstick that supposedly changed to pink or red on your lips according to your mood? This balm contains some of that pigment. It doesn't customize anything. It's one sheer color that doesn't show until it's on your lips. It's a sheer wash of medium toned fuchsia, which looks better than you would think. Since the balm consistency lets some of your natural color show through, it looks different on different natural lip shades. So if this is a variant of mood lipstick, does that mean I don't like it? Heck no! It's great. It's a nice balm that leaves a sheer color behind, even after the moisturizer wears off. The color lasts like crazy. This stuff is what the "long lasting" lip paints wish they could be.You can put lipstick or gloss over it and then go out to eat. And when you've wiped and eaten away all your gloss, your lips stay rosy. Unlike all the 24 hour type long lasting formulas, oil does not affect it. You can wear oil based lipstick or balm over it. You can even eat Italian while wearing it! If you have pale lips, this stuff is what you want so you never have to go totally naked. It is too expensive. $20-25 would somehow seem much more reasonable. Say $24. Still, it's almost worth its current price. It is different than anything I've seen on the market. Good balm, lasting SHEER color, plus SPF! I find myself wearing it on weekends without anything over it. It's kind of like lipstick for sissies! But in a good way! Less

Your "Trapped on a Desert Island" lip product

The lip glow (in all colors) is hands down the holy grail of lip products for me. I have gone through at least six tubes already and tried all the colors. LOVE LOVE LOVE. This is the product I would keep if you told me I could only have one lip product total-- above any lipstick, balm, gloss, etc. it's my one and only. Amazing color development, natural finish, great texture which is smooth but has a little grip. Amazing as a priming balm under lipstick, OR over it, or on it's own. Pink one is my favorite, the color has bright color payoff and the mauve one is a toned down version of the pink with more blue in it. It's worth every penny, even though it's pricey. Don't try a cheap color adjusting alternative-- I tried them all--- and nothing has this texture or sophistication in the formula. « less

lush lips!

i LOVE this stuff! I'm about to start my second tube of it. It is SO moisturizing even after removal. As far as the color is concerned I'm milk chocolate colored with red undertones and this looks beautiful on me. It gives my lips a lovely soft pink color. That's definitely not to say it will work well on everyone. I put it on my niece and it turned bright pink on her so it really does depend on your own chemistry. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

Pink provides natural MLBB coverage

I am East Asian with light to medium warm toned skin. I've tried the lip glow in both Pink and Coral. I'm a big fan of the pink - it gives my lips a very natural MLBB hue (it pains me to say that I've fully used up two of these glorified lip balms...but a girl has to live). Additional pluses - highly flattering and hydrating, does not need a mirror to apply. I got the Coral on the recommendation of a few people who said it looked better on warm complexions. Instinctively, this made sense. Unfortunately, it ended up being way too bright and artificial looking (like a very pastel bright pink). For something that obviously fake looking, a much more affordable lipstick would've done the trick. I ended up returning it and picking up another pink. IMHO, the OG Pink is the most subtle and natural looking balm in the world. All other balms need to bow down. The other shades have much stronger hues and while some might be flattering, I think they give a clearly made up look that many much cheaper lip sticks can achieve. « less

Did not like, there are better scrubs.

I did not like this. The base for the scrub is extremely hard and does not warm well to keep bringing the exfoliant to the surface. The exfoliant itself did little to exfoliate the dry skin on my lips (and I tried both dry and softened lips to see if it would work). It was like running a hard, dulled, bumpy thing over my lips that did nothing.
