This over top Dior DreamSkin will blow your mind!!

NEW HOLY GRAIL! This foundation is everything it’s supposed to be and better! It is a healthy matte finish; I have dry skin and it does not accentuate but rather covers flawlessly over my dryer areas. So dry skin girls can also use this! Towards the end of the day, I still barely see any oil coming through and that’s not usually the case for me. So this does the great job at controlling your oils! I don’t even use a primer with mine. I just put it over my Dior DreamSkin serum!Color range: I am certain there can be lighter shades than the lightest shade in this range. However, there are 24 shades with various undertones; warm (golden), neutral, cool (rosy). Yes, you may still have a hard time if the lightest shade is still too dark, but other than that, I think the shade range is fantastic.I am 30 yrs old and have pretty decent skin. My main skin concerns are fine lines, pores, and dullness. This foundation is FULL COVERAGE. On my skin, it doesn’t even need to be built up, it is very full coverage after one coat. I even learned that I like to give it an extra blend because it is so much coverage. I would be careful how much you put on your face prior to blending out because a little bit really does spread and go a long way with this foundation. I use half of what I would normally use. It is so flawless and beautiful. It photographs nicely as well as there isn’t any SPF. The finish is a “luminous matte”, but a very soft and natural one. I am not a huge fan of mattes usually, but I am really into this. It is true that it still looks kind of luminous while a matte because you still see a natural skin-like glow to your complexion although it has been mattified. There isn’t a pump but why would there be in this type of container. It’s a squeeze tube but Square shaped which is essentially the same thing as a pump and sooo much better imo because you can get every bit out towards the end!!!If you’re on the fence, don’t be. It’s amazing!!!! « less

2N is more yellow than you think

I received a sample of 2N and bought 2 Cool Rosy. This is a beautiful product. The finish is absolutely divine and it looks just like skin.I?m between NW15-18 and have very dry skin, product didn?t pick up dry patches at all. I have a Neutral Undertone that leans peach but have lots of pink on my cheeks/nose. 2 Neutral has more of a yellow/golden undertone than some other neutral concealers such as Natasha Denona 2-3N ,Nars Radiant in Madeleine (Light neutral , same shade as 2N Dior but real neutral) or Caf? au Lait ( deeper than dior but more peachy) . It is also more golden than the Dior Airflash in Neutral 200. Shade 2 Cool Neutral match Airflash 200 & 202. It wasn?t too pink for meIt is a satin finish that dries down and stays on without powdering. It is very light consistency on the skin and I wouldn?t bake it , when I did it made it look less natural. It isn?t a total coverage but can be built up to a near full coverage with a light second layer on the darkest part of the undereyes. It?s brightening , even when matched to your skin tone. I have blue dark circle that I?m never satisfied with after applying concealers so I own so many. It?s one of the concealers ,with the Natasha Denona Conceaker and the Armani concealer with the tiny brush, that I love the most.Doesn?t crease and stays in place all day, cancels darkness very well, is beautiful as a highlight on the face and didn?t settle in my pores or lines around my nose. The applicator is precise and the product dries out fairly quickly but you can still apply to both eyes before blending. I preferred using a brush to apply because it is somewhat liquidy and seeped into my BB. Works wonderfully with Artis brush. It doesn?t look good with a very matte foundation as it is more on the radiant side. It doesn?t work well as eyeshadow primer. One it dries you cannot feel it on the skin.I have no criticism except the fact that it is better to match yourself in stores or to look up swatches online. Less

Not for me...

I have really sensitive skin, and although it's also combination, it leans more on the dry side of the combination skintype spectrum with just a little oiliness on around my nose, forehead and chin. I found this to be increeeedibly drying. I cannot use it. However, the shade is great (I purchased "Sand" which is perfect for my medium-tan skin with heavy yellow undertones - I'm half Japanese). I think this may work well for others, especially those with oily skin who need something with a very matte finish; but, if you have drier skin...I'd consider skipping this one.

Skin-Like, Medium-Full Coverage Concealer

I wasn't sure if I would like this when I ordered online but I do! I only use this on my undereyes and find it just looks like skin.I have dry skin and some flakes under my eyes; The first time I tried this I did not like it because it caught in the tiny flakes under my eyes (I have this problem with most concealers I've tried). However I gave it another shot and used a konjac sponge to lightly exfoliate during my morning cleanse, and found this concealer lays much better now. I was only using a little bit and found it to be medium coverage on my dark circles but one time I put too much on and found it still blended out really well and gave medium-full coverage without looking cakey. I have also tried doing two layers for medium-full coverage and this works just as well - still looks like skin. This is a concealer that definitely needs to be set immediately. I need to add a disclaimer here that every concealer I’ve tried, including this one even when setting, will crease in the fine lines under my eyes. I have one set that come from the inner corner; those always crease, and another horizontal line between my eyes and cheeks. If I set this properly then it creases a little bit in the lines that are coming from my inner corner but does not crease in the horizontal lines. I tried without setting and it ended up creasing in every line, and much more noticeable creasing as well. If I wait too long to set it does crease a little bit more than if I had set immediately but not as bad as not setting at all.I have not tried the new pat mcgrath/hourglass ones but swatched them in stores - the pat mcgrath had a more tacky, thick consistency; the hourglass felt creamy but still thicker than the dior; and the dior had the most light/fluid consistency. I feel of those 3, the Dior would be best if you have dry undereyes, but the other two have fuller coverage.I’m shade 5 in Pat McGrath Foundation and the Dior 0N is perfect for my undereyes. Less
