Light shiny lipstick with loads of colour

After seeing the new ad for this lipstick, I tracked down and bought shade Be Dior. Its a pretty dark pink with slightly purple tones, so perfect for autumn. It applies easily and only takes a couple of sweeps to build up the colour, I was surprised at how pigmented it was considering other people have compared it to a sheer balm.Once on it feels very light, not at all sticky. Its very shiny, making my lips looks smooth even when a little dry.The tube itself is a mirrored silver, it looks fantastic if you display your cosmetics on a dressing table.

Not my favorite

I got this in the VIB rouge color "Wild About Pink" and there's nothing wild about it. My lips are quite pigmented but not SUPER dark, and this lipstick barely shows up on me. I mean, I get a slight light-pink tint but nothing super noticeable. Also, it doesn't feel moisturizing on my lips, it just feels slippery but in an uncomfortable way, not like if you were to put a sugar lip balm on where it just feels smooth. I'm going to have to return this, not worth the money!

Perfect for my dry lips

I'm a lipstick girl, but I have dry lips. I really don't like lip glosses usually. Too sticky, not enough color. This stuff is PERFECT. I actually bought this for my mother who was looking for something to transition from wearing only lipgloss to lipsticks. But I ended up buying myself one too! We got it in the color "not shy" and oh my heaven is it absolutely perfect. Some other reviews mentioned it not having a lot of pigment but I found that not to be the case in the least! You do have to apply a little more product than your usually lipsticks to get the same impact but not much at all. It's kind of nice though because you can wear it a touch more sheer or you can make it bold! That being said it doesn't have the longest stay power, I would put it as a 3 on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being it lasts most of the day even through eating). This product will have to be re applied after eating but lasts for quite a few hours without touch up and feels comfortable and hydrating. « less

In Love With a Lipstick

I have this in the shade Cruise. It's a gorgeous pink shade that looks wonderful on my neutral asian skin tone. I never thought I could rock a pink lip until this lipstick! Normally I hate wearing any type of lip product that isn't a lip stain or chap-stick, because it feels either heavy or way too sticky. This product is the perfect formula! Not only is it not heavy and has the consistency of a chap-stick, it also moisturizes like one! The color is kind of sheer, which makes this particular shade look pretty natural and dewy on my lip. It finally sealed the deal when the guy I was dating asked me what I was doing new, cause he liked it. It's also very long wearing and after the actual lipstick is gone, it stains your lips slightly in a very pretty way. Needless to say, now all I'm going to use is this brand. « less

Lucky

I've already given rave reviews to the two other shades I own in this line, Incognito and Saint Tropez, and this will be a 3rd rave review. This time around, I decided to test my luck with a bolder shade...so, Lucky sounded perfect. It's a vibrant pink that leans a little red. Some have described it as a coral pink, but it is not on me. The color looks more intense and red in the tube, but applies slightly sheer (think semi-opaque) and more pink. Very, very wearable, but still a pop of color. I am loving a vibrant pink lip in place of a red lately as it makes me feel just a little more girly and flirty. Red will always be timeless and sexy, but the darker pinks are a little more playful while still being sophisticated. Lucky gives you the best of both worlds. Also, if you are typically afraid of bold lip colors, Lucky (and probably most of the Addict and Addict Extreme offerings) may still work for you as it's slightly sheer and semi-glossy formula make it less intimidating than most. The formula, like the other Addict Extremes, is about as close to perfect as I've found. Very moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. In fact, these are the only lipsticks that I don't need to wear balm under. They are also very forgiving on any imperfections and apply evenly whether using one coat or multiple coats. The finish is slightly glossy, which I also love as adding a top coat of gloss is not essential. No real fragrance or flavor - a plus in my book, especially since Dior's Rouge and Nude Lip Blush lines have an intense rose scent and flavor. The only reason I did not purchase Lucky sooner was that I also own Dior Addict Dior Kiss (another bright pink) and I thought they might be too similar. I adore Dior Kiss too. Dior Kiss is not quite as bold and is more of a true pink with less red. It is also a bit more sheer. But, if you like Dior Kiss and want to step it up a notch, Lucky would be a great addition. « less
