I have tried MANY acne face washes including Murad, Dermalogica, CeraVe, Proactiv, and I’m currently using Proactiv MD. I’ve also tried getting acne facials and taking medication and putting many different topicals on my face given to me by my dermatologist. I’ve had really stubborn acne for 4 years, and it won’t go away! Is there a face wash that works for oily, acne prone skin?
Any suggestions on how to treat hormonal acne? I’ve tried many brands ranging from Dermalogica to Neutrogena, but nothing seems to be working. Not only that but I’ve also tried tea tree oil and I couldn’t see a major difference.
I want to try the Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica, to get rid of my milia and blackheads but my skin is super sensitive. Has anyone with sensitive skin tried this? Does it irritate your skin and does it work? Thank you ❤️
Does anyone know how to deal with textured skin? 😩 I have combo skin (dry/flaky in some areas but overall gets greasy throughout the day) it’s super annoying to apply makeup because it always ends up looking kinda cakey/flaky even if I’m wearing minimal makeup (just concealer) pls help a sista out!! Currently I wash my face with dermalogica, apply pixi’s glow tonic after, and use a nuxe moisturizer. I’m p much a noob at skincare so pls shed some light with your own skincare routines! #combinationskin #seekingadvice #skincare #texturedskin
I’ve noticed a lot of people asking for skincare product recommendations but saying they need to be cheap. I’m an esthetician and you get what you pay for. Drugstore skincare products are not going to give you the same results as more expensive products with better ingredients. There’s a reason they’re expensive. This is especially true with vitamin C products. I personally like Dermalogica and Bioelements. An exception to this rule is Pacifica facial cleansers. They are amazing. Hope this helps.
I need a recommendation for a serum or treatment of some kind that reduces the appearance of pores. I use quite a few products on my skin but nothing has helped with my pores. I have normal skin. It’s not oily. No acne. I’m 37 but no wrinkles yet because I started young on skincare to fight wrinkles. Just large pores on my cheeks near my nose. Foundation really accentuates them. No drugstore brand recommendations please but I also can’t afford something that costs $75 or more. I’m looking for something in the middle with price range. I like brands Dr Brandt, Bioelements, Dermalogica, BareMinerals, Mario Badescu to name a few for skin care. I also like Korean products. Please help me! I’m desperate!
Just a reminder to those who use makeup wipes. Please stop using it and add cleansing balms and oils to your routine. Wipes can cause aging, inflammation, pigmentation and you’ll find countless articles on it. Here are some options:
- Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
- Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm
- Physicians Formula Matcha Cleansing Balm
- Heimish Cleansing Balm
- Banila Co Cleansing Balm
- Dermalogica Cleansing Oil
There’s plenty other options available and I hope this helps y’all :)
