It makes the concealer last all day!

I love this product. I have oily / combination skin, and any makeup I apply tends to slide off, especially in the summer. To combat this, I use Smashbox Primer Light underneath the Dermablend makeup line. I use this Setting Powder with Dermablend's Quick Fix Concealer in Light. This powder DEFINITELY sets my makeup all day, and into the night. I still have to use blotting papers throughout the day to control shine, but the concealer stays put with the powder. It even minimizes my large pores. My skin tends to get a little oily after work, so if I'm going out at night, I will apply the powder again. This stuff is AMAZING. It not only lasts all day, but it won't rub off if you are changing clothes. It doesn't change the color of your makeup, and will NOT give you a rosy demarcation on your jawline. It is transparent. If you apply too much with the powder puff provided, just keep blending until the white powder disappears. It will eventually blend into your skin, making it look flawless. It also does not clog pores - an added plus for those who are prone to breakouts! Lately, I admit that I have been committing the cardinal sin of falling asleep with my makeup on. Yet, my makeup still looks fresh as it did the day before! I have been tempted to use a blotting paper and go to work (because my makeup is still perfect!), but I end up washing it all off and apply a fresh application for the day. Even though I use Urban Decay's Eye Potion primer, my eye makeup still runs because of my oily skin. To prevent my eye liner from running, I apply a little bit of this Dermablend powder under my eye. This will prevent it from running all day, and if you accidentally fall asleep, your eye makeup will look perfect the next day too! Not that I am advocating sleeping with your makeup on ;) I used to use Prescriptives' Flawless Skin Makeup, and was very saddened when it was discontinued. I am Asian with yellow undertones, and in the U.S., it is very difficult to find makeup that is opaque (yet natural-looking) to cover my hyperpigmentation. After doing a lot of research, I tried Dermablend's line, and am hooked. It matches my skin really well, and it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask. This is a wonderful powder, and I'm glad I found this product and the Dermablend line. « less

I've Tried Them All...Pretty Much!

I love the Cover FX setting powder and still do but this one.... just takes the cake! It mattifies my make up but not to the point where it looks dry. I like a hint of a glow so I use a hydrating foundation but since I'm oily, sometimes my foundation doesn't stay put when I'm working 8+ hours and/or running errands. I use this powder to set my foundation and it stays just perfect!! I also use it to set my concealer and since I do have fine lines under my eyes, it's difficult to find something that doesn't settle or accentuate those but this has worked the best! Under my eyes doesn't look dry or wrinkled! Oh and I have a medium to tan, olive tone, and this doesn't change the color of my foundation or flashback! I purchased and will purchase over and over again!

PERFECT SKIN ON THE GO!

I have combination skin and most setting powders make my skin look super dry, chalky and old-looking. I love the idea of a non drying and TALC-FREE setting powder, because who doesn’t want to look flawless and shine-free all day and all night long, without clogging our pores? We all want to look perfect, even in pictures, so you could say that Cover FX had everything figured out, because this product is also flashback-free!The formula and texture are amazing, feels soft and lightweight even when baking (it is PERFECT for baking). If used properly it’ll give you that satiny, airbrushed healthy look and feel that most Pro MUA’s are looking for lately. My preference is to set and smooth out the skin after foundation (only when needed) to achieve a long lasting “I just did my makeup” effect. You should keep in mind that unlike most of the setting powders in the market, this one has no talc in it, so if you use too much it WILL show.So... let’s count the blessings:- Talc-Free- Weightless look and feel- Vegan- Flashback-free- Perfect for all skin types- Doesn’t dry skin- No ashy nor muted appearance on darker skin-tones- Helps to prevent oiliness- Easy to use- Blends like magic- Great quality- The jar is huge and contains a lot of product for an incredible priceThey couldn’t give this product a better and more accurate name, because it is truly perfect and gets the job done every time with less than half the amount of product used when compared to other brands setting powders. It's the most natural looking powder I've ever used and everyone should give it a try.[ I’ve received this product complimentary for testing and sampling purposes, but all opiniones are my own. This is my honest review and I’m in love with the Perfect Setting Powder] « less

AMAZING POWDER!

This is seriously the best setting powder I have EVER used. At first I thought I wouldn't like it because when first applied it felt and looked very matte however as the day went on it melted into my skin but never looked oily. It really does keep you shine free without looking too dry. A very nice natural finish! I have combo-oily skin so no matter what foundation I use, it usually breaks down the foundation but this powder kept my makeup on all day. The biggest issue I have is foundation settling in the crease of my chin and on the sides of my mouth...this kept every foundation from settling, no matter the formula! Also, less is more with this powder. Doesn't have any flashback in any photos either if used with a light hand. When used with the Dermablend Smooth Liquid Camo foundation, it's absolute perfection,

HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!

after finally getting my moderate acne under control i was stoked, took about 2 months. i normally tend to buy foundations and powders that have full coverage and last all day(estee lauder double wear). i saw this product while browsing ulta one day and though hmm maybe i'll try this and the foundation bc it is so much lighter then what i normally use and it was summer so i wanted less heavy makeup. after 2 weeks of using this my skin had broken out all along my cheeks/jawline. at first i thought it was just my skin care regimine slacking, so i still used this product and the foundation. i switched my skin care fro murad to dermalogica which started to really clear up the breakouts. but once i started using this again it started up again and i realized that THIS WAS THE CAUSE OF MY ACNE!!! it says its great for acne prone skin but i STRONGLY disagree!!! here i went for about 2 1/2 months using this horrible make-up and i am still trying to get my face back to healthy. stay away, dont take the chance. « less

Post skin care glowy quick face!✨ took my light makeup off once I got back to my dorm after a long day of classes and needed a little relaxing session before I went to study with a group of friends. Did the YesTo Unicorn Peel off mask, Kylie skin vanilla milk toner, cbd brightening serum, Murad acne clearing solution, and Mac Radiance primer. I followed with the actual makeup: abh foundation stick to contour blended out with beauty blender before makeup,Elf foundation applied w beauty blender and builded to desired coverage, dermablend to bake/set all over and flicked off, L’Oréal powder all over w Jaclyn hill powder brush, elf kabuki brush, then layered in contour areas w jh contour brush. Light blush with Nars dusted rose I think is the name, highlight in tartlette pallet w small brush on cheek bones, forehead, chin, upper lip, and lightly on jaw and above eyes. Lastly, naked illumination (the sparkles one) on highlight spots and finished with too faced hangover setting spray and too faced liquid melted lipstick.

My mom came to visit me at school today, and this was my makeup for our day out! I’ve been out of my Kylie Cosmetics concealer for so long now, and I really haven’t found any of the other concealers that I have to go well with the Mac foundation I love. I was super impressed today when I got more and was able to use this base duo again. I forget how smooth and seamlessly finished it looks on my skin! After applying these, then baking with the dermablend powder, when I flick all the powder off it just looks like porcelain almost. I don’t know that I’ll ever find a better duo for me lol. Also I layered MAC cream sheen lipstick in Creme in My Coffee under the buxom lipstick, and it made the perfect color/finish. I’m definitely going to be turning to this pair often as well.

Loved this soft glam I did the other day. It was quick, yet looked very fixed up. Kinda felt like it was a little Cinderella inspired haha. Missing products are Kylie Cosmetics True Mama highlighter, Handbag Ho lip liner, Winter Kissed blush, Kybrow brow pencil, and High Maintenance matte liquid lipstick.

i’m looking for a foundation or tinted moisturizer that doesn’t become patchy or define my pores, i’m currently using NYX Can’t stop won’t stop foundation and have been for about 3 months now and after two months my skin isn’t liking it anymore. The only one that hasn’t given me any issues apart from being oily is IT Cosmetics CC Cream. help😩 i don’t want my makeup to move at all, any recommendations on primers, foundations and powders please

Senior Prom Makeup💗 This is probably one of my favorite looks so far, and I’m loving how it showed up in pictures! I used the products that I tagged to create a sultry neutral look with a deep brown smokey eye, brown/nude lip with Dolce K matte lip kit by Kylie Cosmetics, bronzing with a darker shade of the L’Oréal powder, and a shimmering glow from the Naked Illuminating Shimmering Powder on top of the Mally Cosmetics highlight.

has anyone tried the tarte creaseless concealer and had good results? if so, what did you do? i got it because people online said that it was a relatively dewy concealer but every time i use it i spend way too long just blending it out and making it not cake up, and i don’t think i’m using too much with each application (literally one dot under each of my eyes and wherever else i need to spot conceal) :/

HELP! I got the opportunity to do makeup for a wedding early next year, and I want to make sure that none of the products I use will cause issues for the photographer. Does anyone know of a great setting powder with ZERO flashback??? Preferably affordable, but higher end suggestions are fine too! And it needs to work for pale girls, as well as darker skinned girls. Thank you for any suggestions! :) #help #advice #weddingmakeup #noflashback

I haven’t done a bold red look in a long time and apparently I’ve really missed it! I used to do a look very similar to this a couple years ago, so it was fun to kinda redo it with the new products and skills and maturity that I didn’t have before. Red is one of the colors for the college that I’m about to attend, so I was trying out a possible game day outfit/makeup duo. Missing products are Kylie Cosmetics Kybrow pencil and under brow highlight stick.

I’ve had issues with loose powders making my skin look dried out, and I’ve also had issues with flashback. I’m pretty sure the issue is with my powder (even though I try to avoid talc) so does anyone have a fav loose powder or one that they swear by?

No flashback. But I do suggest that you don’t bake. Take your setting powder brush or sponge and dab onto your skin.. gently.

How do i prevent foundation from transferring?!? I get small orange/tan transfer marks on my clothes and others. Ive tried pixi’s milky mist, mac’s fix + matte and regular setting spray, and elf’s hd powder, product still transfers.

I use the derma blend setting powder/morphe continuous mist together and I love them, I tend to have more dry skin and they still stay on.
