So my eye has a deep crease with oily eyelids and it is resulting in the top half of my eyeshadow always wearing off prematurely and I wanted to know if anyone could recommend any products to use to help combat this issue/ any eyeshadow blending techniques are appreciated
Does anyone have a favorite night time moisturizer??? I currently using and almost done with Youth To the People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream and I do love it but I’m kind of itching for something new! I have combo skin but in the winter it is drier than normal
The FAB Intense Hydration is my moisturizer for AM and PM, and does an amazing job! My skin gets really dry after I wash it (salicylic), and this hydrated my skin, but absorbs well and doesn’t sit on top. It’s also meant for sensitive skin, and it has never irritated me.
@Miriam Mazor seconded! This one is good, and even though it seems expensive it’s a huge tub/ tube depending what size you get
@Miriam Mazor ooooo that’s a good one ! I’ve heard great things from others!
Can anyone give me tips on making my under eye concealer not crease? I’ve tried using different concealers, but I have really deep creases under my eyes and am unsure how to prevent my concealer from creasing there. I’ve tried using setting powder but no luck. Help!
You should try “baking”. Find a good translucent powder, I use Laura mercier but there are lots of good ones. You apply the powder with a damp beauty blender right over top of your concealer and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes, the longer you keep it on the more bulletproof your concealer will be. Jaclyn hill has a great video on her YouTube channel that explains what baking really does, how it works, and how to do it! I left the link in the comment!
I have very hooded eyes too, they can be frustrating to work with. But I’ve been using this primer for a couple of years and it’s amazing, my eyeshadow lasts with no fading or creasing even after 10-11 hours, and since you have oily lids putting an oil control primer underneath will probably help a lot. And if you’re interested in finding new techniques, Wayne Goss has several YouTube videos on hooded eyes and they’re really helpful.
@Donovan Cummings I really hope you find something that works for you 🙂
@Jessica Helms Omg girl bless your soul 😇
