color correction

color correcting

i have tried many other green color correcting products and this is by far the best one i have used

- Sephora User

def the best color corrector i've used

- Sephora User

blendability

blends well

i this both in peach and orange and i have to say i love how it corrects my under eyes and dark areas around my mouth , it is very easy to use just swipe (where needed) and blend with a beauty blender but i do find it blends better when i use my ring finger it melts right into my skin and i use my foundation and concealer and set it with my lm powder and it stays in place all day , it corrects , doesn't settle on lines as long as you use a little , will keep buying as long as it's available

- Sephora User

they are highly pigmented and easily blended

- Sephora User

staying power

longlasting

stayed light and lasted the whole day

- Sephora User

despite the consistency though, all six shades have great pigmentation, blendable, long wearing and do a great job of correcting the areas they are targeting

- Sephora User

weight

heavy

i tried it for the first time it was cakey and sank into fine lines, even after i blended it out

- Sephora User

chalky and cakey - i tried it twice and i won't continue to use it

- Sephora User

layering

not buildable

i tried building it up in thin layers

- Sephora User

it does not cover anything and isn't build able

The little babies are awesome!

I am on a color correcting kick and have been purchasing so many correctors from different brands and these are definitely up there in the ones that I am loving. I did a review and demo of all six shades on my YouTube channel (Makeup by Amy Michelle). By far out of all the correctors I've tried (Becca, UD, etc.) this lavender shades is the BEST. It is absolutely beautiful and gives you such a gorgeous brightening effect and it is easily the most pigmented purple shade out there. I also really love the yellow and green shades as well. Overall, the formulation of the lavender, yellow and green are very creamy, blendable, easy to work with, blends great with foundation, etc. I do really like the peach, orange and brick shades but find that they are little more drying. If you have dry skin I would stick to a more moisturizing corrector such as a liquid corrector. If you have combo/oily skin like I do I don't mind the formula but I still prefer other liquid correctors for those shades. Despite the consistency though, all six shades have great pigmentation, blendable, long wearing and do a great job of correcting the areas they are targeting. I haven't quite decided if I'm keeping the peach-brick shades as I feel like I might like the Becca Papaya shade the best for DARK under eye circles. But I am most definitely keep the lavender, yellow and green shades those are must have. Overall the quality of the products are really great you just have to decide what you are trying to correct and if that shade will work best with your skin type. « less

Lavender

I love this color corrector! I am very fair, 3Y01, and have sallowness and dullness around my cheeks and eyes. I chose this one because of the price and because it seemed to be the most "lavender" out of the other brands....when I swatched other lavender correctors in the store, they were much lighter than this one. Anyway, the formula is creamy and blends easily. My skin looks even and the sallowness is gone! Also, it doesn't give a cakey look, my foundation and concealer applied perfectly smooth on top of this. I am already planning on getting some backups! And yes, it is small but you get a good amount of product and a little does indeed go a long way!

Perfection

The trick with this is using the right amount! Even in the videos you can see the women are just SWIPING it in the areas they need, not packing it on! A SMALL amount of this pressed into the skin, NOT COMPLETELY BLENDED OUT, is the correct way to use a color corrector and makes these very effective. The high pigmentation allows for you to use a very small amount. I will say the peach is for a variety of FAIR skin tones, if you're any darker than being considered a "light" complexion I would go with the orange, otherwise the corrector will just go ashy. Don't be afraid of the dark colors! They do WONDERS. I love my correct click. As a makeup artist these will be an amazing addition to my kit! I've been using the Bobbi Brown correctors for years, and these top them by far. My clients are constantly creasing with BB and these clicks allow for a full smooth coverage. « less

Product design... You have failed me :(

I'm a little disappointed. I got the peach correct click along with a cover click which I kept for travel. I was only able to use both of them less than three times. When I was on my last trip and popped out the color corrector from the other side of my click stick, the foundation fell out and on to the floor. Even though it was twisted all the way down, the whole foundation stick fell out from its container without any disruption (besides for clicking the corrector on the other side). The next time I picked it up the corrector also completely fell out. I ended up having to melt it down into a pot. It does have a nice medium-full coverage, the texture is a little too thick/creamy for a pot. If you do plan to de-pot & re-pot your makeup I would recommend this, but over all I don't see myself buying this product again.

Wonder product

Thought I would try this since it was on sale during 21 Days of Beauty. I have mild redness on the sides of my nose and center of my chin with some visible tiny capillaries. I have used A LOT of correcting products and was never really happy with the result. They were either too heavy and discolored my foundation/concealer or too light and just not effective at neutralizing the discoloration. The whole point of color correcting it to either A. use less foundation/concealer (which was what I was looking for since I have combination oily skin and the aforementioned areas get cakey by mid day if too much foundation/concealer is used) or B. To correct enough so you do not need other products. I feel this product can do both. It blends so easily and naturally AND is buidable. I got the yellow for mild redness and the peach for mild under eye discoloration. As for the size.....the actual product size is the same size as a lipstick. Those who are disappointed by the size - it is an illusion since the tube itself is small. AND you do not need a apply a ton of product...a little goes a long way.
