Hi there! I’m really new to makeup but I’ve been loving creating looks over the last few months- I’ve been having a blast! I recently bought my second bottle of foundation (picture attached and the shade I’m using is highlighted) and I like the coverage and everything but it ends up coming out kind of red at the end of the day. The man who matched me at Ulta told me that it oxidizes and I noticed that after a few minutes, it just darkens kind of, nothing crazy, but when I get back home I feel like I just look pink afff all over my face. Maybe i should mention I do use a color correcting concealer with a reddish undertone on my dark spots before I put on my foundation. I went thru the shade range and they don’t seem to have a big range of darker shades so does anyone have any suggestions on a more neutral foundation tone? Pros of this foundation Medium to full coverage Buildable Doesn’t crease which I LOVE Looks cute at first Cons Not a lot of darker shades Expensive Turned me pink :(
Hi, ladies! I’m having a foundation crisis. I am looking for a foundation similar to Maybeline Fit Me foundation- dewy and smooth (or whatever it’s called). Color 120. I’m looking for one similar from Ulta BUT with more coverage. I just tried Estée Lauder Perfectionist Youth Infusing Serum makeup and really liked it in the store so I bought it (for 52 dollars. Yikes) but I’ve been wearing it for only 4 hours and I HATE how it feels on my face. Almost like it’s too oily. I want dewy just not too oily. How can I fix this? What should I use instead? I need something that spreads on like satin, covers my uneven skin tone. Let me know what you suggest! Thanks!!
Foundation for pale, dry skin So I've had a really good experience with the Maybelline FitMe Dewy + Smooth foundation, but during the winter it's just too dark for me, and I can't find a lighter color. I tried the IT Cosmetics Your Face but Better foundation and it is a lovely, lovely formula, but way too dark for my very very fair skin. I also tried the Burt's Bees goodness glows foundation and it's just downright terrible. Any suggestions?
