What are your favorite face primers, setting powders, and setting sprays? I currently use ELF primer (the yellow hydrating one and the one I included in this post) for my face. Lately it seems that no matter how much setting powder I use, everything just slides off my face at the end of the day. Please suggest something for me! #oilyskin #primers #settingpowder
Primer recommendations for sensitive, blemished, textured skin? Something that’s pore-filling, skin smoothing, but still hydrating?
I have favourite products/holy grails for most of my makeup steps, except for primer. I’ve never really fallen in love with a primer, maybe because of my problematic skin.
I stay away from mattifying primers because those tend to cling to my acne dry spots, and then my makeup starts flaking/peeling off in those spots.
With hydrating primers tho I don’t get the smoothing effects, and all of my “face craters” can get enhanced.
Maybe I’m asking for a miracle, but it be great if someone who has had similar issues can recommend a primer!

If you haven’t tried this yet I definitely recommend it, it’s amazing for filling pores and smoothing everything out and it’s hydrating without being greasy.
@Jessica Helms i hear that the elf one is a dupe for the tatcha primer, do you know how much of a dupe? Because honestly I’ve tried the tatcha and it’s waaayyy to thick and hard to evenly spread.
Hi there! I’m really new to makeup but I’ve been loving creating looks over the last few months- I’ve been having a blast! I recently bought my second bottle of foundation (picture attached and the shade I’m using is highlighted) and I like the coverage and everything but it ends up coming out kind of red at the end of the day. The man who matched me at Ulta told me that it oxidizes and I noticed that after a few minutes, it just darkens kind of, nothing crazy, but when I get back home I feel like I just look pink afff all over my face. Maybe i should mention I do use a color correcting concealer with a reddish undertone on my dark spots before I put on my foundation. I went thru the shade range and they don’t seem to have a big range of darker shades so does anyone have any suggestions on a more neutral foundation tone?
Pros of this foundation
Medium to full coverage
Buildable
Doesn’t crease which I LOVE
Looks cute at first
Cons
Not a lot of darker shades
Expensive
Turned me pink :(

I love the double wear by Estée Lauder. I too have a hard time finding the right foundation cus I don’t like it too pink or warm. The double wear has great neutral tones
