Perfect eye base!

I've used this base for about 15 years and it is awesome. My veins on my eyes really show and this is great for getting a nice neutral base for a natural look or for priming my eyes to really give my shadow staying power. I have had no trouble with creasing. Feels good going on and doesn't dry my eyes out like some other bases I have used before. This is a must have in my makeup bag! user

It's the first & last primer I'll ever use!

I love it! I used to use Nude Rose but moved to Buff Lighting so I could use it over my entire eye lid. It works as a base or as an eye shadow. I use it to even out the colour of my dark eyelids right up to my browbone and it doesn't look like I'm wearing eyeshadow because of its natural glow and sheer coverage. That being said, the coverage is easily buildable. My eyeshadow lasts all day when I use this stuff. I can use it during the summer months when my skin is oily and during the winter months when my skin is at it's driest. I love it even more because it lasts and ISN'T waterproof. I have very sensitive skin and for some reason waterproof makeup irritates my eyes. Therefore my eye makeup remover, that doesn't take off waterproof makeup, removes this and everything else on my eyes. It's only drawback is that it dries out really quickly. However I just cut out a little circle of aluminum foil and place it on top of the product. PROBLEM SOLVED! Please don't ever discontinue this product! « less

Dries Out Fast

I purchased two colors: Canvas Light and Nude Rose. My skin is very pale, so Canvas Light was actually best for my coloring. Nude Rose was a tad too dark for my skin tone to look natural, but I figured in the summer it would look nice on my somewhat tanned face by then. I was very careful to try and place the foil covering over the Nude Rose container since other reviewers had mentioned the product would otherwise dry out. I was very disappointed 2 months later to open the Nude Rose and discover it had dried out so badly already that it was cracked down the middle?! Air obviously sneaks into the container once opened. I had to toss it out. Also, my container of Canvas Light began drying out when only about 1/4 used up - I had to toss it out as well. Definitely NOT worth the money spent!!! I have gone back to using Mac's Bare Study paint pot shade as my lid base! It works beautifully and looks lovely on my lids as both a primer and lid shade. Plus the paint pot securely twists shut so there will be no waste! « less user

love it!

I have used the touch base in Up Lite for several years and have had so many compliments. I am not so young, so use it alone instead of with bright colored shadows. Just looks smooth and natural and stays on all day with no lines or creases. Only negative might be that it dries out in container before I use it all.

Highly recommend!!

Great stuff! I have oily eyelids and this takes care of that problem and makes a good foundation for my eyeshadows. Stays on all day. The canvas color matches my skin tone perfectly--so much so that I can also use it as a blemish cover under my foundation. They also make some great colors that can be worn alone for a very smooth, natural look. The packaging has improved and the product does not dry out like it used to--just make sure to snap the lid closed!

Does anyone have tips for blending out shadows that can go on a little patchy? Don’t know if it’s just me but a few shades in this palette get patchy when I try to blend them. 😭 #morphepalette

Eye primer would help a lot because it makes a base for everything that you are about to put on your eye.
