This works for EVERYONE.

I have very oily skin, and you’d think this wouldn’t be for me (because it goes from wax, to grease, to milk) but after I wash it off my face, my face feels refreshed and clean. It takes off all of my makeup. I would were waterproof mascara from time to time, this takes all of it off. I tend to not wanna use makeup remover wipes, because it does not take off all of your makeup, it tuggs on your skin, which can cause wrinkles, and it tends to dry out your face. With this stuff, you can use a tiny bit, rub gently, and it still takes everything off, and it is very moisturizing for all skin types. When you watch “get unready with me” videos, many beauty gurus use this product to remove makeup. But, they always use a TON. I wear the same amount of makeup as them, and I use this very moderately and try to use as little as I can, because it can tend to be very pricey. It works so well, even when you use a little bit. The price definitely makes sense for the great product, and you get a lot, it last you a good two months, if you don’t use a ton. Definitely recommend for everyone with all skin types, and people who wear as little as mascara and lip gloss, to caked on makeup to use this product. « less

Awesome makeup remover

I just finished up a 0.5 oz sample of this, and so far, so awesome. I have sensitive rosacea skin, and for that reason, I like to wear sunscreen and foundation. BUT cleaning my face at night was proving to be a challenge. It's important for my skin that I remove all traces of makeup. However, my skin also does not like harsh chemicals or physical exfoliation (like the Clarisonic brush or a washcloth). Even some drugstore foaming cleansers, cleansing wipes, and micellar waters were too harsh, and would make my skin red and angry. Yet I had get the makeup off of my face, and the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, great as it is, wasn't cutting it. So I started using this. It's fantastic. I apply it dry all over, gently massaging it in until it turns into an oil, and then rinse it all off thoroughly with lukewarm water. Then I use eye makeup remover for my eyes, and clean my face one more time with the Cerave cleanser (in other words, double cleanse), and finally apply moisturizer. When I'm done, almost every stitch of makeup is gone, and all without any harsh scrubbing or stinging residue. My skin isn't irritated or red, and I haven't noticed any breakouts. Seriously, it's fantastic. N.B.: I personally would recommend use a water-based cleanser afterward, and a different makeup remover for your eyes. Also, the packaging isn't the most sanitary, so I plan on moving it to smaller jars, and using a spatula to remove (i.e., not my fingers). « less

Bad luck with clinique

I'm just going to say this off the bat. I've had 0 luck with anything Clinique. The first thing that ever broke me out was an acne cleanser from them. After that, I used a lotion from Clinique, and it ended up making my face more dry. This product was no different. When I first got it, it was heaven. The product worked like a charm, and it was absolutely perfect. You might be wondering why I gave it 2 stars though, well here's your answer. After using it for about, 4-5 weeks I noticed my skin getting INCREDIBLY dry. As well as, my eyelids turning a BRIGHT TOMATO RED shade. At the time, I wasn't using any new products, and I also didn't have a problem with anything making my skin patchy and dry other than the Clinique products. I haven't used it in weeks and my skin still hasn't fully recovered from it. I give it 2 stars because it did do the great job of removing my makeup gently and easily. It was super easy product to use, and I hate that my skin reacted so badly to it. I did give it to a friend, and she is in LOVE with it, so it might have been just me. (FYI: probably should've said this in the beginning, but I have combination skin with oily and dry mixed together)

My new thing is using a makeup remover and following with micellar water every night and no longer washing my face with a cleanser. Cleansers tend to dry out my skin (still looking for one that doesn’t) so I quit using them. Then I follow with a warm water rinse and micellar water again in the am before applying my serum. My skin has been looking better overall since then.

Looking for recommendations for a cleansing oil or balm for removing makeup at the end of the day that does not have coconut oil or any palm derivative. Currently use micellar water but my face is getting drier (accutane 😒) and think an oil would be less irritating. Will double cleanse but want one that doesn’t leave too much of a residue when rinsed off with water. Minimal or no fragrance would also be great!
