Perfect for Combination Skin

I received a sample of this cleanser just as I was running out of my normal facewash. (I had used Origins Check and Balances for several years and that is a similar product, which I liked best until I found this one.) I knew I loved Clinque, but this product surprised me with how good it is - even slightly better than what I had been using. I have super-combination skin - always a balancing act between an oily forehead, dry and peeling nose, and generally acnegnic, sensitive skin. This cleans my makeup off thoroughly and cleanses my skin - its gentle texture doesn't sap moisture from my dry areas at all, and, since I use it with a sonic facebrush, it cleanses my pores effectively enough to prevent and lessen breakouts. If you need to keep/balance the moisture in combination skin, without using something too heavy or greasy, then I recommend this product! One note: I do recommend a separate eye makeup remover, as this definitely feels soapy if you get it in your eyes. But for a daily night-time routine face wash, this can't be beaten!

Tiny amount= Lush, fresh easy breezy clean!

Concentrated lush rich formula- you only need a pea sized dot to get your face clean! You may try to save money on cheaper brands but will run out quickly, not to mention repeat cleansing to get face clean. Pea sized amount can remove oil, all make up includes mascara, sunscreen etc easily with the soft rich extra foaming lather all of which rinses off with pure ease! Does it all gently and thoroughly without drying skin out, tugging at face and eye area!. Leaving it feeling freshly cleansed without feeling filmy and not tight and dry just Pure Clean feeling!! You can use it with cleansing devices bc of its soft creamy extra foaming effect you can see your foundation just lift off into the foamy lather as well! After cleaning... serums, moisturizers will soak right in bc your skin is fresh and clean. **So glad I found this product. I thought I was saving money w/ cheaper brands but extra time rubbing and working skin tugging-not good for wrinkle prevention and tugging at eye area. Clean skin = no break outs. Clinique rinse off cleanser is great- spend the money it lasts longer than replacing bottles of even high end drug store brands- they just can't compete.

Cured my acne!!

I don't normally write reviews, but this product has been a miracle for me. I've struggled endlessly for the last 10-12 years with acne, clogged pores, dry skin, etc. I've tried many different lines of acne treatments and cleansers: proactiv, murad, etc., and spent way too much money. Within a few days of starting to use this cleanser (morning and night) my acne and clogged pores began to really disappear. I can't remember the last time my skin has been this clear and even. I wear heavy, silicon-based foundation, which is notorious for clogging pores and causing breakouts. This cleanser seriously deeps cleans and leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. I've added in the Acne Clearing Moisturizer at night. It can be a bit drying, so I sometimes mix it in with the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (recommended by a salesperson because many moisturizers, even the oil-free and "non-comedogenic" ones, tend to clog my pores). So far they've been great and I would highly recommend any/all of these products. « less

Horribly drying

I have extremely oily skin and live in a humid area, and yet this product caused really scaly dry rough patches of skin all over my cheeks. That combined with chemical smell just made me wonder if I was using detergent. It's definitely not mild at all, yet didn't really do much for my tzone, where my pores always have gunk in them and still did after washing my face.

It's Clear!!!!OMG!!!It's Clear!!!

I swim everyday in about three different pools. The chlorine levels are different in each and extremely harsh so my oily skin gets dried out. The acne line was too much for my sensitive skin. I had been using the acne line for a bout 2-3 months and my skin wasn't getting any better. I found the foaming cleanser and decided to try it after reading all the reviews online. I noticed there weren't that many that were from someone in their teens struggling with sensitive skin and the stresses of being a teen. So, I decided I would try it out and see if it worked. After one week! YES, one week!!! My skin has cleared up!! I used to get about a pimple a week and a few minor spots, but after using the foaming cleanser, #2 clarifying lotion, dramatically different moisturizing gel, and turnaround concentrate in the morning after swim team practice and at night. My skin has cleared up. After the first 2 days my few spots went away after about a week or so of being there. My skin looks clear, healthy, and CALM!!! I have just a few minor spots but they'll clear up tomorrow. When I wash my face, the skin isn't turning red, it doesn't feel itchy, and it feels soft when I pat it dry with a washcloth. Of course I've noticed the reviews talking about a tingly sensation that kinda hurts...it means you are using WAY too much. To wash your face all you need is about a small pea size. If you have sensitive skin like me and you are trying to find help for the troubles of the teenage years here is your solution!!! Hope this helps! « less
