Forget Everything You Think You Know About Soap!

This is by far the greatest product I have ever washed my face with! I have suffered with mild to moderate acne for as long as I can remember and have tried every acne product out there, including prescription meds and Proactiv. Everything made for acne just dried me out and made my skin worse by producing excess oils as it had been stripped of them and let us not forget the redness and flakes! This is a great, gentle everyday cleanser. In combination with the clarifying lotion and the dramatically different moisturizing gel, my skin has looked better now than it ever has. It's affordable, it lasts a long time and is dermatologist tested for sensitivity. I don't know how I ever got along without this product!

Excellent for sensitive skin!

Seriously, the best soap/cleanser I've ever used. I have super sensitive skin. I've used so many different types of cleansers, including gels and creams from every major company. I get red and rashy and none seem to agree with my skin. Even though a bar soap seemed to NOT be a good choice for me, I decided to give the Clinique Mild Facial bar soap a try. I was blown away! It removed makeup completely with no effort. My face just doesn't like to be touched too much so not having to rub or scrub is a huge plus! It doesn't leave my face dry or taut, instead leaves it silky. Excellent cleaning, no irritated or rashy experience. I'm totally hooked. I like the dish - there is a drainer so the soap doesn't sit in water and get mushy. This Clinique Mild Facial soap is a real winner.

omgosh i do not understand all this hype about this facial soap. it made me mad seeing all the good reviews when the truth is this soap isnt very good at all so i was urged to write a review. i bought the bar for oily skin and all it did was make my skin oilier. first it made my skin chronically dry which then my skin became oilier to compensate for the lost oil. although my skin did feel squeeky clean, it was only because it stripped my skin of all its natural oils. the acne treating one did the same but was not as intense.

Has really improved my skin

After struggling to find the right combination of Clinique products to effectively manage dryness, redness, and breakouts, I added this soap on the recommendation of a counter associate, and my skin has dramatically improved. It turns out I didn't need to treat my skin, I just needed to clean it! The cream and liquid cleansers were not enough to remove daily residue from my face. With this soap, my skin has calmed down, my pores are smaller, and I have fewer breakouts. I still have to exfoliate regularly with an acne product, but all my products seem to work better since I started using this soap. I use the extra-mild, which feels velvety during use. If I do not moisture immediately after, my skin is shiny and feels tight and drawn. After putting on Moisture Surge, my face feels perfectly smooth and soft. I use this soap morning and night, and can tell the difference in my skin if I skip it either time.I haven't really used the soap dish, since it doesn't fit at my sink or tub. I cut off about a quarter of the whole bar to use in the shower. It is much easier to travel with that way, too. I just use the soap dish to store the rest of the bar. « less

Love this soap

So, I just ended a 6 month treatment of accutane and Clinique got me through it. Luckily for me, I didn't have super dry skin, just normal. My dermatologist recommended that I use Clinique for my skin care and said that I shouldn't mix brands, so I went to Nordstrom to explore Clinique. The nice lady recommended this soap for me and I'm so glad she did. This makes me feel like my skin is actually clean and fresh. I got the mild soap in the soap dish for 1 dollar more and it lasts. I think I went through 2 bars in 6 months? Pretty good. It has not irritated my skin and I've yet to see one pimple dare show it's ugly face. I love Clinique!! Just incase any accutane users are out here and are looking for a skin care routine, here's mine, during and post accutane. All Clinique unless stated otherwise. -mild face soap bar (am/pm) -dramatically different gel (pm) -clarifying lotion #3 (am/pm) -bb cream shade 2 -*ponds dry skin face lotion (am, I use this and then apply my bb cream. This is the only non Clinique item I use, but it hasn't harmed my skin at all)
