Liking not loving this by Chanel

Liking not loving this by Chanel. Disappointed it is too powdery and not much substance on your face

Beautiful and well worth the price!

For the life of me I can not seem to remember the shade I had many years ago that I was absolutely IN LOVE with. Whether or not it was discontinued, Chanel's Joues Contraste Powder Blush still has the same subtle, beautiful shades to choose from. They are long lasting and last at least 8 hours on my combination/oily skin, and in the hot and humid climate I've worn these blushes in. They are subtly pigmented (depending on the shade you choose), but beautifully so.You could never look "clownish" wearing these blushes as they are easy to apply if you want subtle or bolder pigmentation, and you won't get the streaky powdery look as these are so finely milled.I highly recommend these blushes: there are so many shades to choose from no matter your skin tone!

Simply Beautiful!

I can never get enough of Chanel. After I saw this new bright pink color online, I couldn't resist not getting It. It smells like roses. It is moisturizing and stays on through a 12 hour work day. You could never look "clownish" wearing these blushes as they are easy to apply if you want subtle or bolder pigmentation, and you won't get the streaky powdery look as these are so finely milled. I highly recommend these blushes. I enjoy wearing them.

Something About Chanel

Say what you will, every Chanel product I have ever treated myself to - and I have to work up my courage - is incomparable. I have neutral coloring, am platinum blonde and tend to soft pinks in winter. But when I start to self tan, I move to bronze, coral and pink nude. This is a blush and bronzer in one. I can see myself using it everyday in spring and summer because the color is so perfect. The texture is almost creamy-dust, blends perfectly and looks like the sun but softer. I may make a resolution to buy product less often but higher quality and that is Chanel.

love them

I think there are enough comments on how great the texture, pigmentation, etc are so I'll just give my take on particular colors I owe in hope to help anyone with similar complexion. For reference, I am fair and match to chanel's BR12 (winter) or BR22 (summer).I owe 'rose initiale' which is a beautiful peachy pink (more rosy), it is the perfect pink shade when swatched on my hand but on my face it translates too warm, and makes me look too red (even more when blended too much). I thought that 'espiegle' would also be warm on me but is actually a bright peach color which looks very flattering against my skin, I love this one. I also owe stardust and it's a very pale shimmery pink, it actually shows up on my skin and I can use it as a blush (but might just work as an highlighter for darker skin tones). Stardust have chunky glitters on the pan but on the face it just adds lots of light, on the other hand 'rose initiale' and 'espiegle' have a beautiful healthy looking sheen to it.Overall, I love chanel JC blushes and highly recommend them. When you find the right color it will definitely become your everyday favorite one! Less
