Wanderlust Primer Blush

The color I used is called Mykonos which is a coral color. It’s a soft matte, intensely pigmented, easy to blend, and buildable; start with just a light sweep across your cheeks and build if needed. It also lasted all day. Powder blushes often leave such a dusty mess, not this blush. I’m loving this formula and I can’t wait to try other colors.

Wonderful Blush!

This is a phenomenal blush that's has a skin like finish. I have the color Dolly which looks like rosewood flush on my light skin. I have been using it on my cheeks for over a week. It has a satin finish that leaves a glow without any glitter or visible sparkle. I do have to use a light hand as it is a very pigmented and long lasting blush. I found that this blush blended well on top of my cheeks with and without foundation. Just be aware that this blush does have a soft vanilla fragrance that dissipates quickly after it is applied. I really like the slim packaging with the thick acrylic clear lid, it's easy to see which color is what. I received Dolly for free for the review, but I'm planning to pick pick up a soft peach or coral next. I'm impressed!

Just not for me

I do not wear blush so I had hope that this would be one I would wear. Not the case. I even tried it as an eye shadow and lip gloss (with vaseline). None of them worked out. I ended up looking like a Chinese opera singer. The only positive of this blush was that it felt light on my face. It almost felt like nothing was on my face.

I though I wouldnt like these because I don’t like pigmented blushes but these apply so effortlessly and blend out that they are one of my new favourite formulas. They also last all day which I struggle with when using blush. I really really love these and highly recommend them. Mykonos is a unique bright peach/coral shade but doesnt look clownish at all on the cheeks. Its the perfect spring/summer shade. I also got Seychelles and have been using this everyday. This one isn’t as intensely pigmented relative to mykonos but its pigmented. They both have a very slight sheen thats not glittery at all. Definitely my fave new product of the year so far. I rarely get a new blush, so I know I love these when I already have two. And I plan on picking up the last shade I like from the collection (Dolly) as well. Buxom has a winner here and I hope they extend the shade range at some point in the future.

Long Wear Blush!!!!

HG blush!!! I have so many blushes from various brands and by far this formulation is amazing. A little goes a long way so no need to go heavy handed with it. I literally just tab my brush in and it’s enough for both cheeks. It blends so easily without looking powdery or emphasizing any texture on my skin. This blush last through out the day for me and I usually have my makeup on for about 8-12 hours. I purchased Dolly, Mykonos and Seychelles and they are all beautiful and highly pigmented. Would definitely recommend!!!

Need help with face products. I have a REALLY good bronzer from morphe I like, but everything else I’m having a lot of trouble with. I have a max face sculpting pallet for contour that WILL NOT BLEND WHAT SO EVER. And as far as blush goes I can’t find a shade that works for my skin tone. Pinks make me look sick and reds just don’t sit well on top of my skin tone. I know this is a lot to cover but what do you guys recommend? Cream or powder contours, and specific products, same with blush please. Also if maybe I should change up my bronzer? I really like it but always looking to try something new.

I love the Buxom Wanderlust Blush in the shade Seychelles. The color looks very brown online, but it’s not brown at all, it’s a shade that I think would be flattering on lots of different skin tones. It’s super pigmented, so I would start with a light hand and build it up. It also has a slight sheen that is so pretty.

I’m looking for a new blush that’s great quality but also has a good number of shades. I’m really interested in the cover FX monochromatic blushes but I wanted to know other great options.
