Eyeshadow Bar Single

These shadows are insanely pigmented, highly blendable, and have great staying power. They don't crease on me either. They really are some of the most gorgeous shadows I've seen yet and the color selection is bomb! (although the colors I have been dying to get have been out of stock for awhile now, cmon Sephora!).Now, these ARE gorgeous... but they're SO pricey for such a TINY pan! I have small hands and the pan is the length of my pinky finger. They are even tinier than I ever expected so it's almost like a rip off to pay $12 for something so small when you can pay $2 for a nice, large pan of a makeup geek eyeshadow which has the same beautiful pigmentation as these. The only thing that you could maybe justify the size is the pigmentation is so intense that it would take awhile to hit pan since you'd only be using a smidge every time (that's what I'm telling myself!).The other downside is you have to buy either the single or 6 shadow compacts for these as they are designed to be put into those - these shadows are JUST the pan of shadow, doesn't come with a case or anything so you'd have to buy those separate which some people may not like since it can get pricey! However, if you have a Z pallete, you could just pop these in there and save some money.All in all, if you have the money and are curious, go for it! They are beautiful!!! The best bang for your buck would be buying the 6 pan customizable pallete and 6 shadows to fill it (total comes out to $40, discount is applied AFTER you hit checkout in your cart). Less

While I fell in love with the color in the pan, unless you pack it on without the slightest blending, you will not get this color on your lids. It has a very strong red base(if you wet a brush and dip it you will see), not at all the iridescent peacock color once even slightly blended. I have to use a brush that is very dense and pack it on but there is a lot of fallout that way. I would have been happier with a straight up color instead of the duo chromes. That said, it is very pigmented and lasts all day, I wish the color in the pan will be the color on your lids without so much effort. It’s not something you can quickly do in the morning!
