Love it!

I bought this to replace my makeup wipes as I wanted to switch to something with more natural ingredients. Also, even though I washed my face after using the wipes (acne prevention), I never felt like the wipes did a very good job of cleaning the makeup from my face.I use this to remove my makeup before showering. One pump of cleansing oil removes my longwear foundation, eyeshadow and primer base, and waterproof mascara. Granted, I do have to (gently!) scrub just a bit to loosen the mascara, and by the end of my shower, it's rinsed completely out. This glides across your skin very nicely so you don't HAVE to scrub, and it rinses off cleanly, leaving your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. I haven't noticed it foaming once I add water but that may be because my eyes are closed. I also don't think this is exfoliating, but that doesn't bother me since I have another product for that. As others have mentioned, make sure you are using this on DRY SKIN and then add water later, or else it will not work properly! Though I prefer not to, you can definitely use this as your main cleanser.Boscia, I'm sold. I'm excited to see how long this bottle will last me, since I've been using it for two weeks and the product level has barely gone down. I'm pretty sure that it is already a better value than my 30-pack of wipes, so I'll be a repeat customer for sure. « less

I've used up multiple bottles of this cleansing oil in the past, but recently discovered a deluxe sized bottle while clearing out some old items. I'm reminded of why I used to like this product!I normally don't like menthol/anything cooling since I usually associate it with irritation later, but this doesn't irritate my skin at all. The oil has a thick texture, and really does seem to have a "cushioning" effect as you spread this over your skin.Apply to dry skin, emulsify with water, continue to work in the product, then rinse off. Removes all of my face makeup and non waterproof mascara (I do use a separate eye makeup remover regardless of what cleansers I'm using) I follow up with my usual face cleanser, and I'm left with soft and clean skin!

awesome at the end of the day

As a person who has been oily and acne-prone since I was twelve - more than half my life, at this point - I was horrified at the idea of putting oil on my skin. Just...putting it right on there, where there was already enough oil to solve America's dependence on drilling. But I digress. In the winter, like many people, I face the problem of dry skin; mine is weird because especially on my forehead, it's flaky dry skin **with oil on top** - so lucky me, my problems don't switch, they just hang out together and laugh at me.I wanted to find a gentle cleanser for night that would do a better job of removing my makeup, and I had read some websites' claims that cleansing with oil is actually better for your skin because of the chemical fact that because like cancels like, good oil will remove the "bad/dirty" oil that's on your skin, messing up your pores. My skin is definitely looking good, and this is by far the best eye makeup remover I've ever used, and the gentlest.Word to the wise - you need to rub this in GENTLE circles - I had some raw red skin at the outer corners of my eyes before I realized I didn't actually need to rub that hard, so once I'd gotten past the learning curve, I'm really happy with this cleanser. Plus, looks like it's going to last forever. « less

I'm always in search of beauty regimes for my dry skin. Finding a balance for sensitive yet dry skin is a hunt! An employee recommended this product to me and I thought it was a great idea to wash my makeup, cleanse, and hydrate all at once. However, this left a noticeable residue on my face that was irritating. I really wanted to like this product since the line is quite popular, but this just makes you want to wash off again just to feel clean!

ahhhhhhh

First I have very sensitive skin, I had to result to making my own remover, using cotton pads. Getting my makeup off was an Olympic sport in my house. Most makeup removers burn my skin, can't use any wipes either. On to the product, I apply to dry skin, rub for a minute then add a pump for my eye area only gently rub/wait until my mascara softens and I'm able to add water. Usually after I take off my eye makeup my vision is blurry and I have to clear makeup gunk out of my eyes. This all I did was rinse and everything- I mean everything was gone. No greasy residue just a clean face.Seriously if you are on the fence thinking there is nothing better then makeup wipes/ cotton pads you are wrong. Buy this it is so gentle but more effective then anything out there. Ahh never going back to anything else. So happy. « less
