Looks good on any skintone, portable, perfect!

Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Pale Pink is one of my desert-island items! The texture is superb: smooth and soft, but not greasy. The Pale Pink is the prettiest shade of pink that is pigmented but sheer. It is not baby pink but more of a rosy pink. I use a nylon brush to apply it to my cheeks- this way I don't over-apply. My skin is golden and this is the nicest shade that always makes me look healthy and rested. For vacations I pack Pot Rouge with mascara, gel eyeliner, sunscreen, bronzer, and lip balm- that's it!

Great for cheeks, okay for lips

I love multitasking products, so of course I loved this! I have Cabo Coral and Powder Pink. Cabo Coral is a warm, bright, flattering coral. Powder Pink is a soft, muted cool pink. Both are highly pigmented, smooth, creamy, blendable, and last all day if set with powder. Both look very natural and have a skin-like (not too matte, not shimmery, not glittery) finish. On my cheeks, I like to pat it on and blend it out with my fingers. It goes smoothly on top of my liquid foundation. Or, if I'm using powder foundation, I use this first, and then dust the powder on top. This lets the color peek through and look very natural. It works okay on my lips, as long as I exfoliate and moisturize my lips beforehand. I pretty much always have to use a lip balm underneath, or else this stuff will emphasize any dryness. My favorite way to use this is layered OVER a thick but non-sticky gloss. Unfortunately, any way I apply it, it's gone from my lips after a couple hours. Overall, I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a cream lip/cheek color. It's high quality, you can build it up or sheer it out as much as you want, and you get a lot more product (by the oz.) than with other brands' lip/cheek tints. Plus, I've had these for several months, and they show no sign of drying out yet.

Didn't work for me at all

I really really wanted to like this and was so excited after reading all the great reviews. Though the fresh melon color looked beautiful on my olive skin, it caused me to break out on my cheeks. It also didn't glide on very well so it becomes obvious that you have blush on rather than a natural flush. I also wanted to use it on my lips but the color didn't show up at all on my pigmented lips. Wayy too sheer to use on the lips so that was disappointing as well. It went back.

The Ultimate Cream Blush

This is without any doubt the best cream blush I've ever used. I own 10 of these! Pigment-wise, it's pro-level opaque and will provide a natural flush with only the slightest application of product. No shimmer in any existing shade. (Bobbi, will you please do a shimmer sometime? That would be really fun!) I find that this works well over bare, moisturized and even powdered skin. The cream has the texture of lipstick, so it can 'grab' and look streaky on powdered or dry skin if swiped directly from pot to cheek. A good application trick is to start with a tiny amount, thin it out on the fingertip first and then pat in lightly. The color lasts all day and most tones are natural-looking in daylight, especially Blushed Rose and Pink Truffle. By itself on lips, this product tends to give lipstick coverage. I wear a bit of lip balm underneath to thin it out and create a natural lip stain. Top with gloss for a fuller look. « less

Must Have Product!

I love love LOVE this product and will purchase over and over again. Every woman should have this in her arsenal - a little mascara and lip gloss and you're good to go. I'm 42 and my skin has gone from oily in my youth to dry. This creamy blush has the perfect texture, great lasting pigment, and is easy to blend, especially for those with dryer skin. My skin tone is often described as Medium or Olive, and the Powder Pink gives me the perfect amount of color. One pot lasts me at least a year.

Any subtle blush that you'd recommend? One that looks really natural as if you were kinda blushing😌

Using a cream blush rather than a powder looks more natural on the skin, I like this one but any cream blush should work!
