Best Contour Powder Hands Down

This has to be my favorite contour powder in the shade Golden Light. I'm relatively fair skinned but my skin tans very easily in summer due to my genetics, I'm extremely pleased that I can use this shade year round. I love the fact that this product can be built up to your desired shade. The consistency of the powder is extremely blendable, I find some bronzer/contour powders are hard to blend because they are so pigmented. This powder is a sigh of relief because I never have any problems blending it in or building it up. I have also used this a blush on its own and as an eyeshadow, you name it this powder can do anything. The color is beautiful and works with my skin tone because I have a yellow undertone and in my opinion the shade Golden Light is a perfect neutral/warm shade but definitely not orange at all. I haven't had any luck using grey toned contour powders, they just look really unnatural on my skin tone. As far as longevity goes, this contour lasts all day AND I literally used this powder every single day for a year so it's well worth the price since it lasts soooo long! Love love love. « less

Just ok

I don't understand all the hype or 5 star reviews. This bronzer has hardly and pigmentation in it. I am borderline fair to medium skin and tried the medium bronzer and honestly, I can't even tell I have put it on, I apply my bronzers with a kabuki brush. My favorite bronzer is Urban Decay in Toasted (mostly matte with the faintest amount of a sparkle), but, it's currently unavailable and so here I am suffering trying to find a replacement without a ton of sparkles in it, I hate all the shimmer, so I was excited to try this bronzer. I took my almost gone Urban Decay in to match the color and while this matched in the container... I can't even see it on my face. It's going back. Too sheer, not enough pigment.

Beautiful, flawless finish

I love this bronzer, it's the best one I have used yet.I have it in Terra. It's the perfect muted soft brown on my pale skin. I use it just as a light bronzer or build it up to use for contouring. Sometimes I sweep it over my eyelids too for a no-makeup sun-kissed look. The texture is very silky-satiny smooth, almost like a cream. This is the finest milled powder so it is extremely easy to blend and doesn't just sit on top of the skin, but instead melts into it (but doesn't disappear). The fine mill and creamy texture helps to diffuse pores or any texture on the skin, and it doesn't cling to any dry spots. The finish is more of a natural matte, not completely matte so it doesn't look dull and flat, but there is no shimmer in it at all. It is not drying so it never looks chalky, and it doesn't oxidize. I find it lasts for a good 8 hours before I need to do any touch ups and it's quite pigmented so I don't need to use very much, which means this will last a very long time.Definitely recommend, this bronzer is beautiful. « less

THE BEST bronzer

I have fair, cool-toned skin and foundations for my skintone tend to make me look flat, washed out and sick without bronzer. I bought this in the lightest color and it is PERFECT. Not orange at all, not even overly brown. It is matte but not flat-looking. I really dislike bronzers with shimmer because I only like a tiny bit of shimmer on parts of my face I want to highlight, and it's difficult to apply a shimmery bronzer all over while looking even remotely natural. It's a very sheer, buildable, highly pigmented and natural color. I barely tap my brush onto the pan and have enough color to apply as a cheek contour and then blended onto that side of the face; one more tap for the other side, one more for my nose, forehead. Takehome message: this product will last FOREVER. I mean it when I say you barely have to touch the brush to get good, natural looking color. My only complaint is that I dropped it (on carpet! from not very high!) and the notch holding the otherwise awesome packaging shut broke. Now I can't close the compact and will have to tape it shut for travel, which is really too bad at this price point and considering how much longer I will likely have this product before needing to repurchase. It might have been a fluke and just hit the ground at an unfortunate angle - not sure. At least the actual product inside remained intact. Regardless, I've had this for a year now and it looks like I've barely made a dent, so I can't complain. I will absolutely repurchase and I really don't think I will ever buy another bronzer again. This was my first Bobbi Brown product and I will be back!

Yes! A classic.

I’m 36, pretty smooth skin thanks to the dermatologist (medical grade moisturizers) and taking care of myself over the years. However, when I would use bronzer, my makeup would cake up and intensify lines and wrinkles mostly on my forehead. I don’t even usually have lines on my forehead thanks to botox a couple times a year. Anyway, this bronzer is everything. It probably flies under the YouTube guru radar because it’s not super trendy. This is a classic! I spray tan twice a week and am on a roller coaster of a tan, some days I’m darker and other days I’m paler. This bronzer suits the spectrum of my tan. I can pile it on and it never looks Cakey or dry. I love that I can put it on my cheeks, not just as a bronzer, but as a contour as well. It does great for a subtle nose contour. I stopped contouring my nose a year ago because it just looked so weird with other products. This bronzer can give you that nose definition without looking like you’re trying too hard. My skin had a tendency to break out with bronzers along my jawline where I would blend the bronzer into my spray tan, but other bronzers made me break out. This bronzer is smooth enough to blend into my neck seamlessly, while keeping my skin clear. I don’t often use this brand, but I needed a bronzer and the Sephora employee told me to get this one. After a month of using it, I can’t imagine buying anything else.
