When it comes to quarantine, we’re all going through it together. We’re all trying to lift our spirits and stay safe and healthy while staying inside…even celebrities. Sure, they may be quarantined in $60 million mansions (looking at you, Kim), but even the biggest stars in the world have taken the time to go on social media and share their everyday quarantine beauty routine. Some like to keep it simple, while others turn it into a full glam routine. And either way is just fine with us, you do you during quarantine, babes. Here are the four celebrity quarantine makeup routines you need to watch….
Kim Kardashian West on IG Live
- Kim Kardashian West
Mrs. Kardashian West posted a nearly 9-minute video on Instagram of her everyday quarantine makeup look, and it was surprisingly insightful. The entire routine consists of her KKW beauty products, as she tells followers about the importance of using serum before applying face makeup and applying contour powder on the eyelids when you’re in a hurry. She even teases a new travel-sized mascara and includes a cameo from her adorable daughter North.
- Bobbi Brown
Yes, that Bobbi Brown. The beauty icon appeared on Katie Couric’s YouTube series to share a few quarantine makeup tips to look your best while on a Zoom call. She recommends a “good blushy bronzer” and using hair or bronzing powder to cover up roots if you haven’t been able to see your stylist.
- Ashley Tisdale
As Ashley Tisdale once said in High School Musical, we’re all in this together, and what better way to lift each other up than with a quarantine makeup tutorial? Her video was relatable from start to finish, saying that she does her makeup on days where she “just wants to feel a bit normal,” even though she isn’t going anywhere, and finished her look with a Fenty lip color. Doing your makeup can be so therapeutic, and it’s totally socially acceptable to get all dressed up with nowhere to go during these dark days.
If you’ve been in the beauty community for a minute, you’ve likely watched one of Jaclyn Hill’s many, many makeup tutorials on YouTube, from classic winged liner to her Morphe collabs. But this one is a little different. She walks us through her natural quarantine makeup – light on the shadow and falsies, heavier on the foundation – while having a real, authentic chat with her followers. And we’re all about it.
