Biore is the Best

I received a sample of Bioré® Baking Soda Acne Scrub in my #WalmartBeautyBox for Spring 2017. My review is honest. I can’t sing the praises of Bioré® products high enough. I love them. I have been anticipating trying this scrub for a while, but was hesitant because of the salicylic acid. I usually dry up incredibly and find no benefit from them; however, I gave this a go because it was free and I haven’t been disappointed by them yet. It specifically stated it was “great for combination skin.” I used after my regular wash to get my make up and start with a cleaner face. I applied about a dime size to my hand and went to lathering. At first, you notice the smell is intoxicatingly good, it’s a citrus blend that isn’t overpowering. Next, you see that it’s unlike any other salicylic scrub because it lathers so well! I felt it go to work and I enjoyed using it. It claims to clear up, control, and prevent acne blemishes by penetrating the pores. When I got out of the shower, I immediately checked my nose to see if it did anything and was shocked to see that my pores actually shrank on the first use. My skin didn’t try out, it actually felt softened and my oil was controlled. I enjoyed this scrub and wouldn’t suggest for anyone battling acne or blemishes associated. « less

Game change

I've been using biore for a while have always liked it, some products more than others. This product was a game changer for me. I don't suffer from acne usually, but when I'm premenstrual I tend to get 1-3 painful, under the skin big red bumps on my chin, usually progressing to a hideous puss-filled white head (sorry to be so graphic!) Since I've started using this, probably 3-4 times a week, not only has it significantly minimized those breakouts (I now get maybe one pimple every couple of months) but it decreases the time it takes to get rid of them and the severity of them. If this product didn't work for me I was going to start branching out to more expensive lines and I'm so glad this worked and saved me from spending all that money. userApril 18, 2017

Not Strong Enough

Received this as a sample in the beauty box. I usually use a very strong 10% Benzoyl Peroxide face wash which has worked well for me for a few months now. I figured I'd give this sample a shot, but it wasn't what I was looking for. It went on very creamy, and the "exfoliating" beads were too gentle for me. I felt as though I had rubbed lotion on my face instead of cleansing it. My face also became oily much quicker throughout the day than usual. If you're looking for a gentle creamy wash, this may be for you. It just wasn't for me.

It has two Uses and Does both Brilliantly!

I used the charcoal one that comes in the identical container first and the menthol they put in it about blinds me. I didn’t even know they had this kind, I thought I was getting more of the charcoal kind (it blinds, but it works great) because it had a big coupon hanging in front blocking it and it was right next to it. I got it home and figured I would try it.Hey, it’s better! It has menthol, but not enough to irritate, it gets the blackheads clean just as well as the other, and it has a bonus because it’s baking soda. I received some body exfoliator to try from someone, a very well known brand. I didn’t know that I was allergic to crushed mango shells. I got a very itchy rash, it was driving me crazy. Unfortunately it was late at night, I had nothing to put on it, then I remembered, baking soda works on rashes. I put this Biore on in the shower, just lightly rubbed it in wherever it itched and left it on until it quit itching, about 5 minutes, then rinsed off. It worked for the rest of the night. It’s wonderful! « less

Works Amazing to keep my face Clear!

Literally cleared up my blemishes and acne within one wash but is still gentle enough to use everyday and doesn't dry me out terribly! I have combination skin and I haven't found a product that works better. I'd recommend this product to anymore with moderate to serve acne.
