I like using this with my Clarisonic. You see positive results in 1-2 weeks, I use my toner and moisturizer after.

my skin has been acting up and in the second picture i have a lot of red spots but they aren’t acne and i have no clue where they are from. on both sides of my face i have acne spots and some scars and i need some advice on what to use to help clear my skin up. my skin type is oily and sometimes it can be combination. i currently use Biore charcoal wash, Soap and Glory vitamin C facial wash, and clean and clear morning burst facial wash. i use the Biore and Clean and Clear one after the other and just slightly wash my face with the Clean and Clear because i like how it makes my face feel refreshed and the day after i use the Soap and Glory facial wash. I switch off nights from toning my face with Thayers witch hazel and alba pineapple enzyme facial wipes. Occasionally if i have a pimple i want to go away i will use a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment or mario badescu drying lotion. i hope this gives y’all an insight on what my skin care routine looks like and what i can do to help my skin be smooth and have even toning

I use this serum after toner and before oil free moisturizer - it helps fade dark marks and control oil production. A few other suggestions about the reaction which sounds like an allergy or irritation: 1. I would wash your whole pillow in case some sort of allergen got into it 2. Get some wipes for your phone and clean it at least once a day 3. Your skin could be reacting to something in one of the products that you are using so I would try a gentle cleanser or even just water and a wash cloth for a couple days until the reaction clears up, then reintroduce products one at a time 4. Even though you have oily skin, I would try an oil free moisturizer with spf - this will actually help your skin produce less oil and prevent dark marks from blemishes

@Sara Elizabeth Antoine I agree with everything said here. In addition, I would recommend adding Mario badescu Glycolic cleanser 2-3 times a week. Especially if you determine the break out isn’t related to allergies, stress, menstrual cycle, or any other changes. I have had good luck with this recommendation and I started using The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zync 1% serum at the same time. In my experience it hasn’t necessarily “cleared” my acne, however it has helped a lot with redness and texture. Which can sometimes be half the battle!

I’m looking for a drugstore cleanser for oily/acne prone skin that doesn’t dry out the skin! I have combo/oily skin with dry skin on the nose and forehead. Any suggestions? I was looking into the Biore Baking Soda cleanser but I’m not sure if baking soda dries out the skin.

Clean it zero is a Korean cleansing balm that’s now at CVS. you use it before your normal cleanser. Makes your skin SO soft

3 day difference...3 days ago I stopped using the Biore face wash tagged, as well as only Tarte Shape Tape concealer on my spots (practically on my entire face). I switched to the Cetaphil Daily Cleanser as well as E.l.fs Acne Fighting Foundation, my skin feels much cleaner and is visibly brighter and less oily. Not to mention my breakouts have begun to calm down! Acne has been a huge insecurity for me since I can remember, these are the first products I’ve ever used that have showed progress. I would highly recommend these products!!!

Whats a good skin care product to get rid of my kind of acne (see profile pic) that isn’t Proactive, Biore, or Cinique? Im guilty of popping, and they turn into sores of sorts that are still acne

so both sides of my face are basically complete opposites. on my left side i have a lot of red dark spots and some texture and on my right i have some light dark spots but around my chin and jaw line i have developed some texture and just bumps. i want to use products that will help with hyperpigmentation and acne scars. i want an even skin tone but i have no idea what to buy and don’t want to blow my money on products that won’t work. i currently use the Biore charoal face wash and witch hazel and the ordinary niacinamide 10% and zinc 1% serum. please help and give some opinions on what i should use!

so I currently use the biore baking soda cleanser and absolutely love it. but lately i’ve been hearing a lot of bad things about biore and that a lot of their ingredients are super harmful for the skin. any recommendations for something similar?

I haven’t tried it YET but I’ve heard wonderful things about this type of powder cleanser and I’m looking forward to giving it a try this summer. I used to love the biore baking soda cleanser as well, but I learned that using a physical exfoliant too often is very abrasive and unhealthy for your skin. So I use a gentle cleanser daily, and I plan to only use this 1-2 times a week during the summer when my skin is a little more on the oily side. Good luck!

So I’m not like one of those pimple popper ppl but i LOVE Bioré pore strips (even though they’re not the best for your skin) or like anything in skincare thats nasty and satisfying so you can see all the shit in yo face and pores. I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE Whats a good grossly satisfying skin care product i should try lmk

Honestly just getting a pair of Tweezerman Tweezers and going to town on your ingrown hair on your legs is nice (my friend does her armpits); cotton swabbing your ears; using a magnifying glass to pick away at dandruff before you shower; getting ingrown toenail clippers and getting the impacted skin in between your nails and skin (toes I think are best); but honestly I think popping pimples safely and hygienically will always be the most satisfying to me as well as the Biore strips

Does anyone have a good way of getting rid of blackheads without drying my face or making it peel? I’ve tried Biore pore strips, the black mask and the clean and clear lemon scrub but they keep popping up

I wouldn’t recommend using the products that you have right now because they can be really harsh for your skin. I recommend using something with salicylic acid in it. This one is really good.

Hello everyone! I am in NEED of a skin care product that will help me get rid of the multiple small blackheads on my cheek area. As of right now I am using First Aid Beauty Charcoal Cleanser and First Aid Moisturizer twice a day, every other day I use Biore Witch Hazel, and every night I apply Shea Moisture Face Hydration Serum. When I first began using these products they helped so much, then I stopped using them for a few months (I ran out) and finally got back to using them again but it has not benefited me much as it did the first time. I’m thinking that I might need to change my skin products.

Anything with salicylic acid will help.
