"I wasn't looking for a new lipstick when this one came my way. I've been in a serious relationship with the Ulta Lip Crayon for a while now (Sugar & Spice for neutral, Daredevil for bright red lip). This came in a gift set with another purchase I made at ulta.com. I do love trying out new products, so I eventually grabbed it & tried it on one day. I didn't think anything of it, as I layered it with my Sugar & Spice lip crayon. I liked the color, so I kept doing this for a week. Then, I finally tried it alone. When I looked at it in the mirror, I realized it was MATTE! (Since the lipstick just came in a gift bag, it wasn't labeled so I just figured it was a regular lipstick). I avoid buying matte lipsticks, even though I love the look, since they tend to be drying. This wasn't drying. It doesn't last all day, but I don't mind re-applying lipstick every few hours, so that's nbd for me. It just looks great (pigmentation & matte look) & isn't drying. That's all I need it to be. I am Indian-American, of fair skin tone, and have the one called 'Basically Berry'; it goes well with my skin color, but is not as brown as it appears online (it's more of a brownish red w/ some violet undertone). I've added it to my favorites. « less" - ulta.com user
"I hadn't heard anything about this lipstick when I went to swatch it in store. I liked how moisturizing and creamy it felt without being super thick or slick. Plus, the pigment was really saturated and rich. It got even better when I applied it to my lips. It applied quickly, evenly, opaquely, and without much effort at all. It didn't settle into the lines of my lips or bleed or congeal into the center. It looks really even and smooth. It feels comfortable on the lips, too. I can definitely tell that it's there, but it doesn't feel overly heavy for a nice moisturizing lipstick. Personally, I prefer traditional creamy lipsticks like these over the popular matte liquid lipsticks because they're more forgiving on textured lips. Also, the lipstick stains so even when it wears off it leaves behind a nice pinkish tint. The color selection is nice as well. Mostly varying shades of pink in both warm and cool undertones and light and dark colors. Not too many deep, bold colors or light, nude shades. A couple brownish nudes and a few reds. Essentially, this is an all-around lovely lipstick that has a beautiful, creamy texture that sits and lasts well on the lips, and all at a great price point! New favorite. Less" - ulta.com user
"I received this on a VoxBox, and I'm glad I did, because this liquid lipstick is AMAZING. It feels really light on my lips and it's not super drying. I lile the formula a lot: it dries down really soft, and it is super pigmented. When applying it's not patchy which is a pro. The wand its really nice too. I would buy for sure. "Honestly, I'm usually not a fan of matte lipsticks since they make my lips feel dry and rough. I also don't like the super opaque "painted on" and almost cakey look that often accompanies them. However, I like the color payoff and longevity of a matte lip, and this lipstick gives me the best of both worlds! It's long-lasting and transfer-proof without the dryness and cakiness I hate. It's super pigmented bold, yet looks natural at the same time. I have the color "Androgino" and it's so, so beautiful and flattering for both me (fair, yellow-toned skin) and my mom (medium olive skin). The magnetic case is just fun and feels luxurious! Overall, it's one of my favorite matte lipsticks. I received this product for free for testing purposes. " - Giorgio Armani user
Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick The Luscious Mattes is infused with silk and vitamins for smooth, conditioning color. In a dazzling array of fabulous, fashionable shades.
"Got this in the shade Lenox. It's super pigmented and feels so good on my lips. It doesn't dry them out and it dries to a beautiful matte finish. I also feel like it makes my lips look bigger. It does seem like it gets darker after about 15 minutes of wear. When I first applied it, it was about two shades lighter and then it seemed to get darker as it settles in my lips. Could possibly be because of my natural lip color too. I hope Fiona Stiles comes out with more shades of this! I'd love a light pink one!" - ulta.com user
"I love, love, love this!!! I bought Teddy Girl and it is really beautiful and very pigmented. Yes it is a bit sticky but I love that is stays on like a lipstick. It does not make my lips peel like other sticky glosses. If you love M.A.C. angel lipstick or cremecup this is for you. I love pink nude shades. This is a bit bolder but in the same range. Another favorite of mine is Nars chelsea girls, but this may beat that simply because of the applicator and does not make my lips peel. This also smells great! " - Nordstrom user

"I bought "Dahlia" a couple of months ago and am so happy with it. Not only is the color totally current, it looks the same on as it does as when you see the color as a stick. I don't have that experience with most of my lipsticks. Sometimes the color looks great as a stick then you apply it and it's too pink or too sheer. It also lasts me hours, not all day, but hours. It doesn't race to the outside of my lips or bleed. I'm super happy with NYX products in general (I also bought the liquid felt tip eyeliner) and their lipstick is great too!Great product and the price is right! " - nyxcosmetics.com user

"I just recently started getting into wearing different lip products and experimenting to try and find a shade that suits me. I have to say the Nude Flesh is perfect for me. I have always loved Nude colors and always tend to go for the more natural look. It is great having a shade that goes perfect with any season and style. It has a natural, elegant look to it that is great for just lounging around or going out. The Rebel red shade I have to say knocked my socks off. I honestly didn't know what to think until I applied and took a look in the mirror. I have no problem sporting this sexy shade of red. It goes PERFECT with my completion and skin tone. I have always been scared to try vibrant colors such as Rebel red, but not anymore. This product smashed that fear to bits. I love the soft, silky texture that applies on evenly and smoothly over my lips. I really enjoy how you don't have to apply much to get that perfect look and the color last all day. If I want a bolder shade of color, I just put on another coat. This product isn't thick like similar products, so it doesn't feel like I have stuff caked all over my lips and it doesn't leave a really oily feeling either. It has the perfect combination to leave my lips feeling beautiful and moisturized. It smells really pleasant too unlike other products that I have tried that have a funky smell. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to add a pop of color to their style or if you're like me and just want to just complete a more natural nude look. I had the wonderful pleasure of testing Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid for free in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. All opinions expressed are 100% my own." - ulta user

"Being a BzzAgent, I had the wonderful opportunity to try COVERGIRL'S all new Lip Perfection Lipcolor in two gorgeous shades. First off, I would like to say that I was a little skeptical about a lip color that claims to transform lips to be incredibly smooth and luscious in just 7 days. Living in a hot climate, I deal with frequent sunburn and chronically dry lips on a regular basis. I am a constant user of anything lips - Whether it is lip balm, lipstick, lip gloss or stain... Chances are I have tried it. So all in all, given the opportunity, I was all over the idea of trying a product that would make my lips smooth and silky. The first color that I received was my color of choice; #220 "Hypnotic". This beautiful, some-what nude/brown-based shimmering lip color is the perfect color for year-round wear. I absolutely love brown-based lip color and this was definitely a great shade. The color was in fact rich and glided on smoothly without being heavy or gunky. I love that COVERGIRL Lip Perfection Lipcolor has a unique blend of silk therapy moisturizers and provides a rich, true color. The second color that I received was # 295 "Rich"; this shade falls into the Nude/Coral/Reds line - Which I am not a huge fan of. Being a redhead with fair skin, anything semi-resembling a pinkish hue tends to make my face seem flushed and red. But without further ado, I gave it a go. Yet again, the color went on smoothly - but one thing caught my attention with this color in particular... It had a funny taste that could not be avoided; with every sip of a drink or bite of a snack, it was gross; odd. Anyway, needless to say, the "Rich" color was not a favorite in my book. "Hypnotic" on the other hand is now a top choice in my lip color routine. So here it comes, after not 7 days, but 3 weeks of use... I shall give you the lowdown. My overall opinion of COVERGIRL Lip Perfection Lipcolor can be summed up in one word; smooth. My lips look fantastic! I have received tons of compliments on the color alone and now with regular use, my lips are incredibly smooth and soft. Now that I know how great this product works, I will probably buy the entire browns line in both lip color and liner. Hats off to COVERGIRL, I think they really nailed this one. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="467576532575616309-full" data-show="467576532575616309-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - viewpoints.com user
"For $6 this cute little matchbook of little lipsticks is such a fun idea and was well executed! •The "matches", tipped with a generous dab of Besame Red lipstick, are well designed and allow you to apply lipstick with almost perfect accuracy, ((even for those of us who are pretty clumsy and relatively inexpert at applying liner or any type of makeup that requires precision)). --The Cupid's bow of my top lip is almost comical looking with naturally super pointy tips, so precision is important when applying color. The matches make application almost idiot proof! •As for the lipstick itself: pretty great! Beautiful classic-slightly berry- red, heavily pigmented, nice velvety look and feel, and decent staying power! --I'm a stereotypical "ginger" with pale freckled pinkish skin, auburn-copper hair, and blonde lashes and brows. This color looked..."alright"...with my coloring and I'll definitely use it again but it's probably not the "perfect" red for me, still, it looks pretty good •If any of you are wary of committing to a red lipstick and would prefer to try out a color first, this clever little matchbook is a great & inexpensive way to test out this color several times. This allows you to try it with different looks instead of just sampling a color in the store without being able to take it home and try it with different outfits/hairstyles/cosmetic combos/etc.. •***Also***- it fits in a wallet pretty easily so you could use it for touch ups on a night out without having to take your lipstick tube with you! Hope this helps anyone on the fence about this product! All in all, it's more than worth the price and such a fun little addition to your "first aid"/emergency touch up kit!" - sephora user
"I own this in The Storm, this gorgeous blue-leaning teal, and no other shades (yet!) so this is review is of The Storm. The formula itself gets 4 stars - it's creamy and matte, and sooo comfortable to wear. I usually apply it without even putting on lip balm first and it stays comfortable as long as it is on (about 4-5 hours without eating). It loses a star for not being terribly long-wearing - don't expect it to stand up to a full meal, though it does okay with some drinking - but it does stay within lip lines without feathering, which keeps it from looking sloppy. It also doesn't settle into drier patches on the lips, possibly because it's so rich and moisturizing. The lipstick overall gets 5 stars from me because the GORGEOUS color more than makes up for the not-so-long wear. It's a blue-leaning teal that I haven't seen a lot in lipstick and it really is the perfect mermaid lip. If you've got dark skin, chances are it will look lovely on you, and a bit less harsh than straight-up deep green. I rock it regularly and it doesn't even look too unnatural since I have dyed teal hair. For the price it's a steal. Highly recommend. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user
"Since being clinically diagnosed with rosacea, a quite disturbing skin rash that sometimes burns and itches and creates extra dry skin on the affected areas. After trying many different types of pricey foundations to help cover the flare-ups that are common with this skin discomfort, I took a chance with Queen Latifah foundation in Amber Glow. At first I was skeptical, realizing that I had not worn drugstore makeup in an extremely long time, I sincerely did not believe the coverage would cover my splotches or not feel similar to an oily rag covering my face, Much to my surprise, I was more than impressed with the formula of the foundation. It is lightweight, odorless, and color-true. So color-true is my abbreviation of the foundation perfectly matched my skin and covered my problem areas without leaving me splotchy or shiny. Because I suffer from combination skin and have some dry patches, as well as some oily ones, I am thrilled to have found a product that takes care of my combination skin. A funny before I go, I first sampled Amber Glow in a local Walmart store. I wanted to buy the bottle, but it had been pumped so many times that I was going to pay full price for a half-full bottle. Dismayed but not defeated, I traveled to all of the Walmart stores in the Stafford/Sugarland, Texas area, only to find that not one of those stores had what I was looking for. Heavy burdened with grief over not having my product in hand, I traveled home (New Orleans) and was in the Walmart store there on Tchoupitoulas Street. I was not really looking for Amber Glow anymore, since my hopes had been dashed by the Walmart stores where I lived. Anyway, I ventured to the hair care/cosmetic isle, as I always do in any store, and THERE IT WAS BEFORE MY VERY EYES, not one by six bottles of Queen Latifah's Amber Glow Foundation. Carefully and with the skill of a foundation fanatic, I took all six of the bottles of the Amber Glow, clutched them to my chest (I had no basket) and bought them all - ALL! I am I ashamed of my selfishness? Should I have left at least one bottle of the fabulous foundation for another woman to enjoy? Did I act selfishly and thought only of myself? The answer to all of these questions is YES! and I would do it again and again. THANKS, QUEEN! « less" - viewpoints.com user
"So, I have been purchasing from Dose of Colors direct site for years. I love indy companies and they had some of the most unique shades back then before all these other companies starting coming forward. The other review that gave these lipsticks one star because the "swatches don't match the colors" I don't understand. How is that a review of the actual lipstick? That is the same as someone giving it a bad review because the shade doesn't look good on their skin tone. You can easily google swatches of all these shades on multiple skin tones and know what you are getting. Love Potion is probably one of my favorite shades ever. It is the most unique bright purple pink. I own 10 shades out of the 15 or so... These lipsticks are FULL OPAQUE coverage. If you want something sheer and light, these aren't for you. If you love the look of liquid lipsticks but hate the drying, super matte feeling, these are for you. They give complete poppin color but are much more comfortable to wear (although Dose has one of the best liquid lipstick formulas on the market as well). These are also cruelty free and vegan, which is amazing." - ulta user
"I purchased all six colors during the Ulta sale online. They are all beautiful. My husband does not like lipstick on me and I came out wearing King and he said your lips look pretty. He liked that they didn't transfer much. I felt the colors were all wearable and give you a look of being "finished" even without much other makeup. They seemed creamy for being a matte, but if you have dry lips, you may need a conditioner. These are great lipsticks. While the packaging was cute, what matters is the product. I would buy these again. I may try a lighter metallic color over the top of the darker ones to add to the flexibility of the product." - ulta user
"Hi! So I know what you’re thinking...just another boring review by some random chick you don’t know. But hear me out here! I am a Prestige Beauty Advisor at Ulta Beauty and I am around makeup almost 24/7. I have tested almost every matte liquid lipstick we have in the store, including Nars. As a matter of fact, I own three of the new Nars Powermatte Lip Pigments. And let me tell you, they are NOT cheap. For one liquid lipstick, it’ll run you around $26 plus tax, so $28. And I love them! I really do! But they don’t last long. Actually, they hardly last me an entire night or working and drinking water, which sucks. Now I know you aren’t here to listen to me talk about Nars, but I had to because I want to prove to you how phenomenal these lipsticks are. For starters, they’re $20. Do you know how much prestige brand lipsticks (that advertise long wear but don’t mean it) in the store cost? Upwards of $23, if you want the “long wearing” lipsticks. So for the price, these are a total steal. But what makes these truly amazing is that they DO last you all day. I did a little experiment with my Berry Pop lipstick and I put it on my hand and wore it all day. Well, I forgot to take it off and let me tell you, it lasted me for three days...THREE. DAYS. And it only started to fade by the end of the second day. I do not know what they use in these lipsticks besides sheer magic and unicorn tears, but whatever it is, it’s AMAZING.And the best part? The color pay off is exactly what it looks like online. I have always been fearful of buying things online, especially lipsticks, because it never looks the way it did when I saw it. But these are actually true to the advertisement and I appreciate it because quite frankly, it’s rare. The truth is, what this company is doing is rare. The fact that they are selling products that are true to their advertisement and for a reasonable price is not normal and you don’t find it in most beauty companies. And it’s just such a breath of fresh air, it truly is. Again, as someone who is around makeup all the time, I’m thrilled that a company like this exists and I can promise you I will be telling everyone I can about Beauty Bakerie. They deserve the highest praises. So if you’re debating on buying not just this lipstick, but any lipstick, take my word. They’re awesome. I just ordered two more this evening and you can bet I’ll be ordering plenty more. « less" - beautybakerie.com user
"I don't usually buy lip stick or anything, I just stick to the original medicated chap stick because all the other lips balms dry my lips out like crazy. I bought this one because first I had extra money to spend and I just wanted to buy a lip balm with color and I saw this one, which was like the cheapest so I got it to try out. The color is good and stays on your lips well, doesn't smear or come off as easy as other lip sticks. Anyways, I am very satisfied. I have this color and another, pinkish one. They shape my lips too and I don't need to use a lip liner. Good stuff " - walmart.com user
Doll up your lips in plush and vibrant color! Nyx professional makeup's liquid suede cream lipstick glides on and sets into a striking matte finish. Velvety soft and waterproof, this long-lasting lippie creates a positively polished look with every swipe.
"To be honest, I was quite on the fence after trying these out, but I decided to give them 5 stars because the formulation is really good. I have Keen (the dangerous matte finish) and Rose Breath (the original finish). Absolutely smitten with Keen, not so much with Rose Breath, but that is mainly due to the colour. I was expecting a nice pink with obvious warm undertones but what I've received is closer to an orange-y derivative, something resembling the dusty coral shade or the geeky one, but somehow brighter, not flattering at all for me - but then again it might fit others beautifully. Again, the formulation is great, more so with the very matte one, which isn't as dry as expected and works great on prepped lips. Long lasting as well. Beautiful, sturdy packaging. All in all would definitely recommend and probably try out some more shades in hope of finding a better match. Less" - Cult Beauty user

"I really like these lip creams: Nice texture, easy to apply & lasts a decent time. I chose Rome and Madrid. The Rome might be the best color for my skin tone. It is a "your-lips-but-way-better" color on me - nicely pigmented slightly darker than my natural lip color - exactly what I was looking for & I absolutely love it. On-line, Madrid look similar to Rome but darker and more red. Even in the tube, it looked like a dark red with a lot of brown undertones. When I applied it, it was magenta - way too bright-pinky-red for my coloring & age. I will wear it with a too- brown lipstick I bought a while back - I tried them together & it wasn't too bad. But in the future, will not buy this color again, but will absolutely buy Rome. " - ulta.com user
"I have been using a liquid lip from she-who-shall-not-be-named in classic Lolita nearly every day for over 5 years. I have been giving trial to every suggested brand and formula in search of a replacement product and shade, and Rebel Rose in NYX Catsuit is finally it! I had tried Give Me Mocha, which was recommended, but like many users, I found this formula to be a vastly different color in the tube versus when applied and dried down. Give Me Mocha is pretty, but turned a pretty bright brick red on me when applied, so it wasn't the substitute I was craving. Rebel Rose looks fair pink/mauve in the tube, but applies and dries down to a lovely dark MLBB mauve on me. If I use it with a liner, it looks very polished, or using it without lends to a more casual look. The price is incredible at a quarter of what I was paying, and the formula is long-lasting and not drying (for a liquid matte). I got three tubes in different colors for under $10 with a coupon (yippee-NYX is not one of the zillion brands excluded from coupons!), and will definitely be back to try more Catsuit in the glossy and pearly finishes, too! « less" - ulta.com user
""Love, love, love my lipsticks. I saw the lipsticks on sale for 2.77 and bought 3 of them, No. 4, 8 and 10. Love the first 2 but not a fan of the last, It's shimmery. Love the creamy texture when applied and it's moisturizing all day...I'm a lip balm fanatic but didn't have to apply throughout the day.I also wear it matte by lightly tapping white power on after application, problem with this is it dries out the lips. So, you constantly have to apply lip balm which defeats the purpose of mattifying. The colors are different than they appear on the website. No 4 is closer to Fuschia and no.8 is medium purple not as dark. Totally love both shades! Finally, both shades are highly pigmented so I don't need to reapply by the end of the day. Lasts through, coffee, breakfast and lunch. Cleaning however is a little tough. I use cleansing oil and my lips are still tinted when finished, not that I mind though.I use these now more than my higher end ones. Would totally recommend this brand. "This soft pink yet a hint of coral is an amazing addition for those who love liquid lipsticks. This color is even universal for anyone! The formulation of this product is spot on, it delivers high pigmentation, last a lot longer than I expected, and doesn't have that sticky or tacky feeling that some other affordable products (Yet more expensive) have. When it does wear off it is not blotchy, but becomes more of a soft muted color that to me also looks great. It doesn't stick or accentuate any dry patches on the lips either. I cant wait to try out all the other smoking hot shades!" - tambeauty.com user
Wet n Wild 's Limited Edition Rebel Rose Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick returns in highly-pigmented, reimagined rose tones, formulated in our signature weightless, longwearing, and smudge-proof formula.
"Glad I swatched before buying. I say this because I have a Dark skin complexion (I'm African American). So not ALL lipstick colors of the world work for our skin complexion. Some make us look washed out, some are too pigmented and should be for fair, medium, light or tan complexions and other colors look odd unless a little gloss is added to it or a lip liner to keep it from bleeding all over the place. So ladies, if you have a darker skin complexion and you do not have a store or boutique close to you who carries Bare Minerals and/or it's READY line, then I will give you advice now of my thoughts for ME personally. Not all women are the same so some colors look great whereas on others it doesn't look so wonderful. So over the course of a month, when I was able to, I would go to my local beauty store that carries bareMinerals and swatched colors before picking what I liked. I'm telling you right now, most of these colors didn't work for me. If you have a darker skin tone, don't go for the following shades: Make Your Move, Get Ready, Be Free, Live It Up, Speak Your Mind, Light It Up and Never Say Never. Those six were complete fails for me. I didn't swatch Risk it All because in the tube it just looks so "vibrant" that I didn't even attempt it. Same thing for Fly High, Go The Distance and Call The Shots. Just looking at them, I knew it would be a waste of time even trying to swatch them. Lead the Way, in the tube, looks like a really heavy fuchsia/plumberry color. I didn't swatch it because of the bold look of it. Okay, so now that I have all the bad out of the way, I can talk about the good! This is where my five star rating comes in, despite well over half of the moxie lipsticks being a fail for me lol. I saw a review on the bare minerals website of someone who had the same complexion as me (or so I thought from her review description of herself) of the color Breakaway being a good color. I went to the store with that in mind and I swatched it. Totally not for me. It's a mauvy color, but the pink is too rich in both color and the creaminess of it. Just didn't look right on my lips for ME, but it may look radiant on someone else so it's not a miss in color, it's just a miss for ME personally. I think Thrilled corresponds with Breakaway if I'm not mistaken. Finish First kind of/sort of made me look a bit washed out, but it still looked pretty to wear I would possibly wear it, but I would definitely need an outfit to wear to compliment the way the color looks on my lips. It didn't look bad because I almost purchased it today, but it's an option. I just haven't swatched it enough to really warm up to it because it's in the nude category. If you do get this color, get either Pumped or Liberated for the moxie lip liner. Live Large, surprisingly, looked so pretty on my lips. Kind of outside my realm of pink, but had enough blue undertones for it work. Definitely good for going out or if you have an outfit with pink in it to match it well. I purchased Revved in the moxie lip liner to correspond with it. I also purchased Stand Out which was another lipstick in the neutrals category and purchased Pumped in the moxie lip liner to correspond with it. When I first swatched it, I think I immediately dismissed it because I hate crowds in stores and I feel like if a lip color looks too crazy, people may look at me funny lol. But I went back on a quieter day and tried it again and liked it enough to get it. It's a rosewood, red color. Very neutral. I would pep it up with a gloss though to give it a little bit of a personality, but I do like it all in all. Raise the Bar is a pearly, berry color. It looks pretty to me. Almost bought that today too when I swatched it again having swatched it sometime last month. Raise the Bar would correspond well with the Revved moxie lip liner. Finally, and it's my absolute FAVORITE and the store I went to to swatch it has been out of it for well over a month now: Rise Up. It's a beautiful nude color on my lips and I could seriously wear this out or to work and it probably wouldn't look like I have lipstick on. I've been in love with it so long and now I have to have it. So I ordered it today along with the Thrilled moxie lip liner that corresponds well with it. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Raise the Bar and Finish First are on my list, and will be easier to wait on since I have the liners that correspond with them already, but Rise Up I had to get immediately. I just knew that if I didn't get it, somehow it would run out and I would have to wait. So I jumped on it lol! These lipsticks are creamy, hydrating, moisturizing, doesn't feather in the lines of your lips (my biggest pet peeve and biggest turn off with glosses and lipsticks) and also the liners are great for keeping the colors from bleeding and the color lasts longer. I just love these lipsticks and I'm never buying any other lipstick brands. This is it for me! « less" - Sephora user

"The ultimate take-away I have from this lipstick (I purchased truffle) is that it's very well pigmented, creamy but not heavy or sticky, and stays put. I picked this up for a day-wear lipstick at work and it stays put through snacking and drinking with minimal transfer. It does not dry my lips out (and I have dry lips to begin with). My down-side: Truffle is advertised as a lightly pink nude and for me, it just wasn't. That's on me and my skin-tone though, which is why there were no stars deducted. It's a true nude. Didn't seem pink at all on me. If you're very fair (I'm 1R03, MUFE Ultra HD foundation Color 115 = R230 - Ivory is a little dark for me) you may want to take this into consideration. All that said: I'm keeping it! I love it." - Sephora user

"Like many women nowadays I find myself increasingly on the go and not having a lot of time. With that said, I like makeup that's not only high quality (and flattering of course), but quick and easy to apply, and long lasting. Pure Color Envy 'Vinyl Lipcolor' is the solution to my lip color needs on those extra busy days. Now let me tell you specifically about my experience with 'Shameless': First of all it's an absolutely STUNNING magenta shade with extra fine micro shimmer. When applied, it felt cool and refreshing, and my lips were immediately very hydrated and saturated with beautiful color; i.e. it's highly pigmented. High shine finish if applied more generously; more of a semi matte/satin finish if applied more lightly. Regardless, it will eventually take on a semi matte/satin finish that is comfortable and lips will continue to feel moisturized; good color duration as well. Fast, easy, flawless application, thanks to the "doe foot" applicator. Last but not least, this lip gloss has a very pleasant (what I perceive as bubblegum) scent--An all around winner in my book! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user
Play up your pout with a silky stroke of nyx professional makeup's plush gel lipstick. Available in totally vibrant shades, this lippie brings together an oh-so-soft feel and the high shine of a gloss.
"This IS an amazing sexy perfect shade red! I saw it on Jaclyn Hill and knew it would look just as good on me since I’m blue eyed and can get fair like her but it also goes on tanned skin. It’s hard to find a bright red that isn’t too blue or too brown or too pink or too orange. This shade nails it. Everyone should have this universal shade. It’s the perfect pin up pout red and I can’t wait to wear it this summer or the right occasion. It feels great on and not at all drying or heavy. Sheer velvet. LOVE! " - morphe.com user
Bh cosmetics' metallic liquid lipstick - lush, long-lasting lip color that goes on wet and dries to a soft matte metallic finish that will not smudge, budge or transfer. The full-coverage formula comes in fashion-forward shades.
"I adore the STILA Stay All Day Matte Lipstick... I try my best to look as natural as possible when wearing make up, even if my face is coated in it. Nude lips being my go to on the daily, I was very pleased with the over all plump look the lipstick gives you, a sutel stain to your lips as well after it wears away, living your lips looking full all day and even better a natural look. When wearing the STILA lipstick I have been asked by friend if I have had my lips enjected! Nope it's all natural baby, thanks to STILA All Day Mate Lipstick! So worth the buy and it smells yummy too. " - Sephora user
"I am a huge fan of KvD liquid lipsticks and decided to swatch this in store and I was immediately impressed. I had a few different liquid lipsticks on the back of my hand (KvD, stila, hourglass, this) and this one had the longest staying power. Dragging a finger across it, this one smudged the least and had the least transfer (hourglass was the worst for both, KvD was better than stila). Later, when I was trying to remove it, this would not budge. at all. at that point, I made up my mind that I needed it immediately (I'm always searching for liquid lipsticks with no transfer and doesn't budge ie "boyfriend proof"). Later, I tried the gloss on top, expecting it to be sticky, but it was not! in fact, there was no transfer/smudging even with the gloss which was the opposite of what I was expecting. These last through a greasy meal better than KvD (once again with Hourglass being the worst). I found these less drying than KvD and Stila, but the finish without the lacquer was similar to hourglass (tacky vs dry). However, one thing that might be a big problem for people is the scent. It is very heavily scented and can easily turn off people who aren't even sensitive to scents. It does go away, but it is very strong. Another difference is that it is slightly harder to apply than other liquid lipsticks. The texture is thicker and creamier and whole process was a lot longer (including drying time. it takes a relatively long time to dry, especially since first layer needs to dry in order to put on lacquer. the first layer on its own already took longer than average to dry). If you make a mistake though, you're out of luck, this stuff is hard to remove even with makeup remover (it looked perfect after 2+ swipes). However, for no transfer and budging, it is worth the extra time and money. On the other hand, color selection also isn't as diverse as KvD, but it's not a huge deal. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

"This is my absolute favorite matte lipstick!! The formula is BEAUTIFUL!! It keeps my lips hydrated all day while having epic staying power & a matte finish - the ultimate combination! These make my lips look so smooth & soft. Highly recommend!! My favorites are OG Red & Name Drop! I also love Grrrl, Wifey, New Whip, & Dip Out! I want to get Freshhh next! Some criticisms would be that the bullet doesn't swivel all the way down so extra care needs to be taken when opening/closing. Also after using them a lot the small bullet loses its shape making precise direct application more difficult. One of the bullets also became loose & crooked in the tube. All this said these are still my favorite lipsticks because of the formula. It's just that amazing. My lips stay hydrated all day which is so rare for a true matte high pigment formula. Lipstick is my favorite product & these are really something special. « less" - milkmakeup.com user
"I have a beautiful terracotta nude from another company that was my all-time favorite, but then they changed the formula and it was awful. I really didn't have hope that I was ever going to replace that color until I met Oracle. I mean, this lady really is the best. She goes on easy as you please, full coverage with one swipe, and stays a really long time. No lipstick stays all day for me, but I also eat multiple meals, drinks a gazillion bottles of water, and workout on lunch so... I am a terrible barometer for staying power. The color is so lovely - just different enough from normal lip color to make it feel special and feels lovely on. Also, I love layering her with Desire creme pigment. Such a beautiful peachy rose color. " - credobeauty.com user
A shiny, plumping liquid lipstick that delivers bold, intense color with serious staying power.
"I don't know why this gets stepped on, I am so in love with the color and formula and application! I got Wonderful Purple and was super impressed, have Wonderful Magenta en route to me and will probably break and order Wonderful Red too (I have so many classic reds already, but I want the whole set!). Cushion is comfy and feels nice to use (not rubbery at all like I've heard other reviewers describe). Also heard complaints about Purple being kinda patchy/hard to get even coverage, somewhat true, but I've had a much harder time getting even application with much more expensive lip stains. For the value, I would highly suggest not passing this up!! Critiques - Can get weird lip lines with the spherical cushion applicator (before short learning curve) - Not conducive to using lip brushes - Not a tooon of product in the container - Fades, but fades pretty and evenly! - Could be more pigmented - Wonderful Purple is by no means purple, it is dark red - I've had an issue where the force required to pull apart tube and lid causes lip product to come out unwantedly, I think maybe just me though. Loves - Smells good, and very mild - Not drying at all!! (HUGE for me, I've never found another matte/stain lip product I could wear every day without chapping) - Just a freakin pretty and flattering color - Convenient container/application, good for on the go - Cushion is soft and feels good on the lips" - sephora user
