Velour Liquid Lipstick by Jeffree Star

"Absolutely love Jeffree Star products!! His liquid lipsticks are the best ever. The formula is just simply amazing! So lightweight and opaque. This won't dry your lips out at all. Lasts all day and literally have to scrub my lips to death each night to get it off as it stays so well! I usually buy Jeffree's make up direct from his US website but can't justify the custom fees each time. This is my first time using Beauty Bay and I ordered the shade 'Sagittarius'(which is AMAZING by the way) on Thursday evening and it arrived on Sunday morning! Super impressed. Free postage too which is a bonus. Beauty Bay kept me updated every step of the way on the progress my order. Thanks Beauty Bay - will definitely be using this site alot!" - beautybay user

Joli Rouge Lipstick by Clarins

"I bought two Joli Rouge Lipsticks thinking I was buying the Joli Rouge "Brilliant" Lipstick, which is described as "sheer" vs "intense colour" -the description of Jolie Rouge Lipstick. So I'm obviously let down by the lack of shine and fuller coverage. So the lipstick is not shiny but it feels smooth and light on my lips, and the fruity/grape(?) fragrance is exceptional! Colors 742 Jolie Rouge and 744 Soft Plum are not for me. 742 Jolie Rouge is bright! 744 Soft Plum is too dark for me.The fragrance and feel of the lipstick are good enough I will try a lighter shade in the Joli Rouge *Brilliant* product.I did not wear the lipstick long enough to review longevity of color, etc., and didn't experience any adverse effects from it.One recommendation for Clarins: parse out or bullet list product descriptions. Comparing paragraphs is not helpful. Also, Jolie Rouge Brilliant Lipstick states it "Keeps lips comfortable and perfectly plumped with Organic Marsh Samphire.", while the Jolie Rouge Lipstick contains the same product but lacks the "perfectly plumped" description...so is the ingredient supposed to plump lips? Oh, and don't get confused...Currently, the tabs on the windows for the two different types of lipstick are both titled "Jolie Rouge *Brilliant* Lipstick" although the product pages are specific. Thank you. Less" - clarins.pl user

Matte Lip Color by 3 Concept Eyes

"I am a matte lip girl.My lips get dry easily though and i hate that crusty feeling.Thats why i avoid liquid lipsticks. This is not as long lasting as a liquid lip but its matte and not drying at me.The color can become as dark as you like when you put more at areas or you can have the fading effect for the ones who like to wear lipstick in the center.I use both methods. The packaging is sturdy, the color is pigmented and just what the picture shows.I would buy again even if it took a while to arrive.BTW i got #909 Smoked Rose " - yesstyle.com user

Rouge In Love Lipstick by Lancôme

"Out of this world & Amazing combining best of lipstick & lipbalm. Never liked lipstick texture, shiny look from a gloss that disappears almost immediately and preferred balm or liner but dryness of liner, lack of pigment in lipbalm are no good & really don't like to layer either. First time trying Lancome Lipstick(Being a Lip Addict also own several from other brands) New Rouge In Love Lipstick is mind blowing and just can't get any better! This is my No.1 Lip Color ever among my huge lip collection. I tried & chose to own 6 Colors (Jolie Rosalie (2nd one as a backup), Delicate Lace, Rouge Rendez-Vous, Violette Coquette, Divine Seduction & Fiery Attitude Favorites in the order they were mentioned subtle/pleasant scent n so gorgeous, wonderful on my tan skintone & probably universal colors, work for most skintones medium to deep! Great Texture with perfect staying Power, Light weight yet Great Color depth, Wears of nicely leaving beautiful subtle stain after a good 2-3 Hours if not 6 hrs which may be possible depending upon drinks/food etc or when travelling @night. I just use 1 or 2 coats (smoothing it out with my finger for a matt look) that's all no lipliner under or gloss needed:) And, YES it comes in a Prettiest Cool Silver Case!!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-7172318227727500493-full" data-show="-7172318227727500493-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Lancôme user

Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm by Clinique

"I confess, I am now the owner of ALL if the Chubby Sticks. This is the lip product I have been searching for. They have sheer but buildable coverage and are very moisturizing. The finish is balmy and moist but not shimmery or overly shiny. They are not greasy or waxy, just soft and comfortable and lightweight. I'm not sure the color lasts longer than an average tinted balm, these are not a stain and you do need to reapply, but they leave my lips feeling moisturized even when it's time to reapply. I like that they wear off evenly so I don't have to worry about touching up all day at work, only when I want to. Now for the color. Out of all 8 of these the only color that doesn't completely work for me is the Woppin Watermelon. My lips are pretty pigmented already and it just takes some effort to make it show up. Girls with less pigmented lips will probably love this one. Otherwise ALL of the colors work for me and I'm very pale with neutral to warm coloring. Seriously ALL OF THE COLORS are awesome. Even the darkest one (Richer Raisin) is very wearable by my pale self. Mega Melon and Chunky Cherry offer the best pops of color, but still aren't over the the top. Whole Lotta Honey is the one I've reached for the most. For me, it's the perfect pinky beige "my lips but better" shade. I would say that Sephora's color swatches are pretty accurate on my monitor. You won't be disappointed by these! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Classic Color Lipstick by Besame

"I was introduced to Bésame Cosmetics about a year ago, and I absolutely love this brand! It is definitely my go to for classic stick lip colour. The packaging is very elegant and vintage Hollywood glamour. Any time I use it to touch up in public people always ask, "Where did you get that lipstick? It's too cute!" Packaging aside, the lipstick formula is very nice and a great quality. The texture is slightly creamy, but still stays put fairly well. I also love that the colors are very highly pigmented, so one application really lasts especially if you use the blotting method. They also make very nice lip stains if you're going very a lighter look. I have every color but especially love American Beauty. The raspberry red tones look fabulous on my skin. If you're looking for a perfect red lipstick you HAVE to try Bésame. They brand is called 'Kiss Me' for a reason! « less" - Sephora user

Perfect Rouge Lipstick by Shiseido

"Packaging: it is light but robust since it is made of a metal that gives it that aspect of hardness and resistance ideal for those like me, you end up with the lost lipstick at the bottom of the bag or purse but without being something heavy.Choice of color: it was not an easy task because they have a wide range of tones and after being tempted by more than one red and burgundy we opted for the Bubblegum PK417 tone which is a clear pink suuuuper flattering ideal to animate the face every day without looking excessive .Outstanding aspect: the hydration that it provides to the lip. If you have a tendency to peel on the lips and a certain sensation of tightness and dryness this lipstick will come as a ring because it has a very creamy and moisturizing texture without losing a bit of pigmentation, something that happens with other moisturizing lipsticks that hardly add color . Thanks to a combination of oils the Perfect rouge not only moisturizes the lip but also helps hydration not evaporate with the passing of hours. Less" - Sephora user

Artist Rouge Lipstick by Make Up For Ever

"*I received these lipsticks complimentary for testing purposes* So the colors that I am reviewing are C211which is like a medium dark pink. I love the creamy texture on my lips and usually I stay away from colors like this because pigmentation is very light but I didn't have that problem with this one. The color you see is the color you get. Not lighter not darker but what you see is finally what you get. The next color I tested was c404 which is my FAVORITE shade of red I've ever possessed! The color is very bold and vibrant. I've never been so happy with a red lipstick. Usually I purchase 2-3 different reds to get the one which is the reddest. But I haven't found any complaints yet for this Artist Rogue Collection. & the last and final lipstick I tested was c502 which is like a medium light lavender. Of course if you go on my Instagram page @Jassy__Jazz (it's a public profile) you can see the colors on my lips. I defiantly will be making a trip to Sephora to buy a new color for my bday next month. The color pigmentation stays vibrantly on your lips as well even after smoking and drinking ;) <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-3792458238626229988-full" data-show="-3792458238626229988-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Lip Chic Lip Color by chantecaille

"I cannot recommend these lipsticks highly enough. I have been using them for about six years. The first colour I bought was Tea Rose and it continues to be my favourite, although I also love Bourbon Rose, Dahlia, Amaryllis, Nocturne, Heirloom, the list goes on. I regularly get compliments from others asking what lipstick I am wearing. The ultimate advertisement for these is that I gave my sister who can't be bothered with lipstick a Bourbon Rose for Christmas and she loved it. Finished the tube and asked where I got it as she wanted to buy another....unheard of! The texture is soft and creamy, but not heavy, and the best thing about them is that you are unaware that you have got lipstick on. They feel balmy and don't dry your lips. The colours are never overpowering and you can apply generously straight from the tube without fear of looking overdone. There are a couple of downsides however with this texture. They can sometimes bleed slightly, but I find a wax lipliner prevents this, and I reapply a lot so they don't last as long as some other brands. Neither of these points made me want to drop a star though! A note to Space NK.....please sort out the stock issues. I live in Belfast and 4 out of 5 times I go into the store the colour I want is out of stock which is irritating to say the least. I am always told it is an issue with Chantecaille products in general... <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - spacenk.com user

Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon by Marc Jacobs Beauty

"All bets are off. This is hands down the best lip stick I have ever tried. The texture is out of this world--it honestly shocked me when I swatched it on my hand. I was so confused--I am not used to such creamy, pigmented texture that doesn't pull at your skin. This felt like SILK. I applied it to my lips and it was so creamy and buttery. It even smoothed out the chapped portions of my lips. I am a huge nude lipstick fanatic and so I was excited to try Send Nudes and Burn Notice. My only hope is that they will add even more colors since the nude colors are a little darker than I usually gravitate towards but I found that if you tap it on your lips and spread it with a brush, you will get a lighter application. Smoothing it on my lips as I typically do with my nude lipsticks created too much of a "bold" look for me... even with the lightest colors. PLEASE marc jacobs, do us all a favor and add lighter colors. I wore this to work and I reapplied after lunch. Absolutely obsessed. I received this product complimentary for review purposes." - sephora user

L'Absolu Rouge by Lancôme

"Smoky Rouge is a beautiful red L'Absolu Rouge lipstick. My closest friends have been on my case for the past year, trying to get me to balance my eye makeup with bolder lip products. I love eye makeup in all sorts of shades, but prefer lip balms and glosses. A few months ago, they gave me a huge basket filled with a ton of lip products, most of which were darker than anything I'd ever pick. I've been trying to work my way through the basket. I saved the darkest deepest ones until last, so I could use them while we're on vacation, giving me a chance to decide if I could get used to them, or if they just looked ridiculous. Smoky Rouge is the darkest lip products This is the third L'Absolu Rouge lipstick from that basket. All three of these lipsticks are very moisturizing. Each stays on my lips for a couple of hours, but they all feel heavy. I could feel their presence on my lips. I prefer lip products that I can't feel but I understand that often the colors that stay the longest are the colors that have a more physical presence on my lips. There's an obvious trade-off, meaning that feeling them on my lips means they're probably going to stay in place longer than those that I don't feel. Smoky Rouge is red, and looks as if it would work for all women, no matter what their skin tone. If this is going to be a signature color and used a lot, I can highly recommend it, which was my feeling on the other two lipsticks. I appreciate that my friends bought me these lip products. However, for someone like me who wears lipstick as little as possible, I wouldn't spend $29 on a lip product knowing I'd barely use it unless it was for a special occasion. I much rather put my money into eye make up. However, this is obviously a really nice lipstick so if you're willing to spend $29 for it, I highly recommend it." - sephora user

Girl Lip Stylo by Hourglass

"I got the color Seeker and it flatters my fair red head complexion!! The stylo is fabulous!! Very moisturizing and comfortable but with nice pigment. The packaging is not cheap and I love that! It's sturdy and bigger than I thought it would be. Stylos may be my new favorite "vehicle" for lip color. The consistency is thicker than a liquid lip stick but still feels very light on my lips. It's an expensive item to buy on a whim and I lucked out. I recommend it to everyone. Regardless of what your favorite lip color style is, the stylo is worth keeping in you're purse and won't let you Down." - sephora user

Lipstick by NARS

"so first i have to confess that i rarely wear lipstick. i barely even wear lipgloss- i usually go for one of the benefit lip tints patted onto my lips with some kind of balm (eos, chapstick, whatever i pull out of my makeup bag first) on top. this being said, a full-on dramatic makeup look doesn't really come together without something with a little more "oomph" than lip tint and chapstick. and that's where the Nars lipstick comes in. i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE these lipsticks. i have two- cruising, which is this cool, light pink shade and dolce vita which is this awesome "my lips but better shade" that compliments my olive skin tone perfectly. (cruising might actually be a little too cool for me but i'll get my paws on some lipliner and try to fiddle with that so it works.) they are both sheer, they are not matte but not sticky-shiny like lipgloss and are really easy to apply. you can build up the pigment with a few swipes, so don't be afraid if the sheer thing puts you off. i love these so much that i've actually taken to occasionally wearing them in place of my lip tint and chapstick routine. they feel amazing on my lips, they are not drying, and they don't stain lips. staying power is not a priority when it comes to my lip products because reapplying them is half the fun, but these are pretty long-wearing. i would say if you want more staying power invest in a lip primer (i know urban decay has that ozone stick, two faced has one, there are a few- idk if nars has one, i'll look around) and use lipliner. if you go for a primer or liner i'd bet this would stay put all day. they don't feather out, and if you kiss your boyfriend, he doesn't come away looking like he made out with red marker. i always really look forward to using these lipsticks and i can't wait to expand on my collection. i will be repurchasing these and have reccomeded them to lots of my friends." - sephora user

Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick by theBalm

"I was not expecting too much with these liquid lipsticks because I have never had much luck having lipsticks stay on very long even supposed "long wearing" lipstick or "waterproof" liquid lipstick or whatever claim was made that it would stay on for hours or even all day! So when I received these beautifully packaged Matt(e) lipsticks I was so excited to try them! And when I did oh boy was I in love! They are the creamiest softest smoothest liquid lipsticks I have ever tried! They are the perfect consistency not too thick not too thin and they just feel so silky on your lips they are not drying for a matte lipstick and wow did the color really pop! My fiance absolutely loves the two colors I chose! He also loves that when I kiss him he's not wearing my lipstick too! LOL I will definitely be buying more of these beauties soon! I love the balm cosmetics! You guys are the bomb! 💣 Less" - thebalm.com user

Love Me Dew Moisturizing Lip Crayon by Laura Geller

"This is the most hydrating lipstick I've ever tried. Normally if my lips get too dry from wearing lipstick or from the cold, etc. I give myself a rest with a few days of chapstick or lip balm but this is the perfect formula for dry lips. A few days of wearing this and my lips are back to normal. I love that it doesn't have peppermint oil like other balm stains. Its not super long lasting but it does last longer than other similar products and wears more like a lipstick than a balm at least color-wise. I have Cranberry Glaze and its the perfect every day red. " - ulta.com user

Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour by Chanel

Do I need to say more? ;)I got 'gracile', a great everyday color and 'pirate' a deep red-blue color for holidays. " - Nordstrom user

Satin Lipstick by MAC

"It's very flattering on my NW10 skin tone. I think this color would work on a variety of skin tones, from pale to deep & cool to warm. It's not the most pigmented Mac matte lipstick I have used, though it's far from a sheer lustre or glaze. More pigmented lips may need 2-3 layers, but it builds up nicely without looking too thick on the lips. The finish is described as a matte with pearl. The pearl is very subtle, I don't even notice it. I think the finish is more like a satin, without being thick like the satins can be. It's not as drying as most mattes. It wears a really long time too, about 3 hours if I'm really eating & drinking, 5-6 hours without much eating or drinking. It stains a bit unevenly, a pet peeve of mine, & I wish I could give it 4.5 stars for that reason. If I blot & apply a light second layer, it stains a bit more evenly. I really like the formula & the color. Some say this is a cross between a pink & red. On me, it's a deep fushia. I was a bit over bright pinks, but this one has enough depth that it doesn't feel outdated. I hope it sticks around, it's a fun color for spring/summer nights. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="479970605263461781-full" data-show="479970605263461781-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - M·A·C user

Weightless Lip Color by Kosas

"I've wanted to try Kosas forever and was excited when I learned that Sephora carried the line! It truly excelled in everything (color, formula, pigmentation, packaging) and as perk, it's a green line! I can genuinely say this is on par, if not better, than my Tom Ford and Chanel lipsticks at a much more reasonable price! I wear this without lipliner for a casual, cool-girl look.Formula: Super creamy, but not soft. One thing I'm always worried about is my lipstick melting in my bag or breaking off (which has happened to some pricey lipsticks because they were too soft). I don't have any issues with Kosas! The formula isn't quite matte as liquid lips, but there isn't much shine to it making it perfect for everyday wear or layering lipgloss on top. I love how it doesn't feel drying at all and it lays on lightly. Most hydrating lipsticks have a bit of shine which this doesn't. Most matte lipsticks show lines of the lips, and this has a blurring effect? I can't say enough good things about the formula and I absolutely love how pointy the tip is for a more precise application.Color and Pigmentation: I've also tried Electra which I love as a nice tomato red! Rosewater definitely is more pink, but not gaudishly so. It's a great, conservative color that isn't boring at all. I've been searching for a new nude and this fits the bill perfectly. It's not as sheer as some other nudes I've tried before and it's super easy to layer for a more intense color. I did reapply after lunch, but once it sets, it's pretty good about not transferring.Packaging: It was a bit difficult to get the lipstick out of the box, but after I got it out, I absolutely love how it's a magnetic closure. There's a bit of weight to the tube (similar to NARS Audacious line) which adds to the luxe appeal without the $30 price tag! Also, I love the minimalism. Less" - Sephora user

Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick by bareMinerals

"If you’re the type that does not like a matte lipstick that cracks eventually and you want your lips to feel hydrated, this is the one. It feels like your everyday chapstick but has a high pigmentation. It has a creamy texture to it that makes it very easy to glide onto the lips. The packaging is very minimalistic but it has a beautiful shine and a nice weight to the lipstick cartridge. The color pay off is very vibrant. The shade I received worked very well with my pale skin. Well thought out product." - sephora user

Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour by Chanel

"Ten days ago, it was a very special anniversary to me. My husband doesn’t actually encourage my spending on cosmetics (I wonder why, considering I’m *such* low maintenance...!) but he’s seen the distinctive BY TERRY font printed across many indigo blue items. He knew I’d been pondering changing my skincare as I wasn’t very impressed with the latest one, and to my awe, he brought me a SpaceNK bag back, with a whole load of BT items. I was speechless (which is rare for me) and vowed to give them a good week’s trial before reviewing. This moisturiser has been a present from heaven to my face since the colder weather has set in. It’s around this time of year, my skin goes from “normal” to “dry”, and this is just like an oasis is to a man who’s lost in the desert. My skin positively *drinks* this in, and its texture and consistency are sublime. And I’d like to think that when a product makes its claims in print, there is some scientific evidence to support it. This claims to brighten and even complexions and I’ve got to say, I’ve had a number of people telling me that I’m looking well - I often put that down to fake-tanning my face, but I’ve not used any for about two weeks. My skin is completely unadulterated by fake melanin! And my face *does* feel smoother, creamier and like velvet. Even the smell is pleasant to me - and my initial BT grumble was the products’ aroma in the foundations.I only use it at night at the moment as I have another cream to finish (only a few more days to go - and this did none of the marvels the Hydra-Éclat has). I’m looking forward to using it a.m. and p.m. as it isn’t a heavy cream. I’ve worn it under foundation and my skin hasn’t felt like there’s a heavy mask atop it.So I’m one very lucky woman, because there were another four items in that bag which I’m going to continue to review (and use!)(I did have one grumble...just to myself, under my breath: Why didn’t you take my SpaceNK Incentive card and get me some points?!) « less" - spacenk.com user
