Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick by Gerard

"This is one of my absolute favourite liquid lipstick formulas. I have quite a few of the colours: Serenity (such a beautiful colour! Comes off as the perfect mix of a pink and a nude on my skintone), Skinny dip, Nude, Strawberry Fields (a beautiful, slightly pink red that stays on all night and would look great on any skintone. It's less pink than it looks in the picture though), Everything Nice and Wine Down (do not recommend). They are so pigmented, have great staying power and non-drying. I have had issues with a lot of liquid lips leaving my lips looking really dry and flaky, but I never had any issue with these as long as my lips are exfoliated and moisturized beforehand. However! I find it very difficult to get an even application when I use Wine Down, and it ends up looking patchy even after I have applied several layers, so maybe stay away from the darker colours. There are better formulas out there for the dark, vampy lips. Also, watch lip swatch videos from people with a similar skintone to you, because the colours look very different on me than they do on the lip swach photos." - beautybay user

Velour Liquid Lipstick by Jeffree Star

"Absolutely love Jeffree Star products!! His liquid lipsticks are the best ever. The formula is just simply amazing! So lightweight and opaque. This won't dry your lips out at all. Lasts all day and literally have to scrub my lips to death each night to get it off as it stays so well! I usually buy Jeffree's make up direct from his US website but can't justify the custom fees each time. This is my first time using Beauty Bay and I ordered the shade 'Sagittarius'(which is AMAZING by the way) on Thursday evening and it arrived on Sunday morning! Super impressed. Free postage too which is a bonus. Beauty Bay kept me updated every step of the way on the progress my order. Thanks Beauty Bay - will definitely be using this site alot!" - beautybay user

Classic Color Lipstick by Besame

"I was introduced to Bésame Cosmetics about a year ago, and I absolutely love this brand! It is definitely my go to for classic stick lip colour. The packaging is very elegant and vintage Hollywood glamour. Any time I use it to touch up in public people always ask, "Where did you get that lipstick? It's too cute!" Packaging aside, the lipstick formula is very nice and a great quality. The texture is slightly creamy, but still stays put fairly well. I also love that the colors are very highly pigmented, so one application really lasts especially if you use the blotting method. They also make very nice lip stains if you're going very a lighter look. I have every color but especially love American Beauty. The raspberry red tones look fabulous on my skin. If you're looking for a perfect red lipstick you HAVE to try Bésame. They brand is called 'Kiss Me' for a reason! « less" - Sephora user

Rouge Velvet The Lipstick by Bourjois

"I have fallen in love. These lipsticks are incredible - the pigmentation, the coverage, the staying power, the shades, the matte finish and for the price = best lipstick ever! These have to be the best lipsticks that I've tried in a very long time, and this is coming from a huge high end beauty junkie! The shades are all amazing - I have them all! The shades are perfect for A/W season and with lots of shades to pick from to suit your style or skin tone, there's something for everyone. They all suit my pale skin really well and I love the matte finish that is created after a few minutes when the lipstick dries on your lips. It's a super hydrating formula for a matte finish. They apply really smoothly and full coverage. The high precision bullet is incredible! You can really get the shape you want and line your lips with the lipstick sharply.I really love the packaging with how the tube colour is the colour of the lipstick... as a beauty junkie I have tons of lipsticks, and searching through them all is a mission daily to find a shade to wear, but with these you can see and grab straight away, knowing the shade of lipstick without reading names and opening up tubes.Highly recommend these!I received these lipsticks complimentary for testing « less" - superdrug.com user

Artist Rouge Lipstick by Make Up For Ever

"*I received these lipsticks complimentary for testing purposes* So the colors that I am reviewing are C211which is like a medium dark pink. I love the creamy texture on my lips and usually I stay away from colors like this because pigmentation is very light but I didn't have that problem with this one. The color you see is the color you get. Not lighter not darker but what you see is finally what you get. The next color I tested was c404 which is my FAVORITE shade of red I've ever possessed! The color is very bold and vibrant. I've never been so happy with a red lipstick. Usually I purchase 2-3 different reds to get the one which is the reddest. But I haven't found any complaints yet for this Artist Rogue Collection. & the last and final lipstick I tested was c502 which is like a medium light lavender. Of course if you go on my Instagram page @Jassy__Jazz (it's a public profile) you can see the colors on my lips. I defiantly will be making a trip to Sephora to buy a new color for my bday next month. The color pigmentation stays vibrantly on your lips as well even after smoking and drinking ;) <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-3792458238626229988-full" data-show="-3792458238626229988-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Cocoa Butter Matte Lipstick by 100% pure

"I own the blood orange, and sandstone colors. They are fantastic with long staying power, never making your lips feel dry. I wear the sandstone color regularly, it complements my olive skin tone. The other day I was in gold sandals, white jeans, and a military green top wearing the blood orange lipstick. Truly my favorite red now, really gave my teeth a beautiful whiteness and for the first time in a long time, I felt drop dead gorgeous. I get told whenever I am wearing these lips, that they are very beautiful colors. In the red, I had about 3 gallons of water and 4 cups of black coffee, and you know what? It didn't budge. Also, if you're wondering, the red is much brighter in person, but truly, so classic and perfect in every way." - petitvour.com user

Metallic Lips Lipstick by MAC

"I was TICKLED when I saw that Heroine was made into a permanent shade. I had never seen it before, but with al the hype and my love for purples, especially matte purples, I freaked out and I bought it. I have pale skin, green eyes, and light brown hair and this shade looks beautiful. It makes my eyes pop like crazy. The color is vibrant and stays vibrant all day, reapplication is a breeze, and the matte is not drying. I use the prep and prime underneath all of my lipsticks and I recommend that everyone else do the same, especially with a matte. It makes your lippie last longer, keeps it in place and prevents drying. Seriously, if you want to try something different, try Heroine. It's gorgeous and so fun." - M·A·C user

Rouge Pur Couture by YSL Beauty

A limited-edition Rouge Pur Couture lipstick, dressed for the holidays, with gold and silver sparkles and a bullet embossed with stars.

Mirage Noir Lipstick by MAC

"I bought this lipstick by looking at the online swatch. I took a chance by ordering it because I am a huge fan of raspberry colors. The rich creamy texture ensures that your lip doesn't dry up. Its not quite ideal for long wear so i would recommend carrying this with you if you happen to be out for longer than 1 hr. It moisturizes the lip very well and the shade isnt too dark or insignificant. I have an Indian skin tone and this shade works really well if you don't want something too bold. I use it as an office wear. I wouldnt say this looks brown in any way . Its more of subtle peachy pinkish orange type colour so dont get carried away by the word " brick " its not got a RED undertone to it. " - M·A·C user

Matte Lipstick by NYX Professional Makeup

"I love this lipstick. I wear only red lipstick i've tried pretty much all brands that are under $20 a lipstick. This is my fav lipstick so far.I was like its $6 it can't be that great i was so wrong. This lipstick lasts longer than any lipstick i've tried that wasn't a 24 hour wear i hate those 24 hour wear they flake off and make my lips feel like i put dry wax all over them. I will say this lipstick is somewhat drying but it has to be for the lipstick to last. All those glossy lipsticks only last about 10 mins or once you eat or drink this lipstick pretty much stays in place when i eat or drink only the inner part of my lips need a touch up it depends really on what i'm eating most times the lipstick stays in place after i eat and i don't have to touch it up and sometimes i have to do a touch up. But i can put this lipstick on and it will last hours without a touch up without eating or drinking of course. If you use a straw when you drink you won't need a touch up at all most ladies i know who are crazy about lipstick only drink with straws so they won't ruin their lipstick its a great cheat to have to make your lipstick last for hours while you drink. I will say i have tried you what most women do to make their lipstick last longer i blot it with a tissue and add some powder on top and when i do that it lasts all day with me eating or drinking it makes your lips feel really dry though. As a person who has been wearing lipstick pretty much 24/7 for the last oh goodness how long has it been 15 years or so this is my fav hands down. I really love the revlon matte lipstick it was the best until i found this one but the revlon matte is my second fav after this one. The revlon matte isn't as drying but it also doesn't last as long or hold up as well as NYX but thats because it does have a little gloss in it so your lips won't feel as dry so if you don't like this NYX matte lipstick try the revlon matte it costs a little more and it won't last as long as the NYX but if you want something not as drying then thats your best bet. But i just add a little eos lipbalm on my lips when my lips are a little chap and add the NYX matte lipstick on top and that keeps my lips from not feel as dry it does make the lipstick not last as long but it helps with the drying. If you want a lipstick to last all day it is going to dry out your lips if you want a lipstick to make your lips feel and look shinny it isn't going to last and it becomes messy when your hair gets in your face and so on. This is the best lipstick i have found that's under $20 i have it in every shade of red they have and i never leave home without this lipstick. It doesn't bleed,it stays in place, the shades are true to color for the most part for the reds they are true to color i don't buy any color but red so i don't know about the other shades always look at them at the store to be sure. I just can't see how anyone who wears nothing but lipstick could hate this lipstick. If your a lipgloss kind of girl then you probably won't like this its thick, bold and heavy coverage because its matte. If you like light coverage in lipstick then don't get this. If you want a strong, bold lasting lipstick then this is for you. « less" - ulta.com user

Colour Elixir Lipstick by Max Factor

"I ordered this for myself after recently trying a tester in boots, I'm so glad I did the colour is beautiful (rosewood) and it goes on like a dream. It's a soft creamy texture that is not overly glossy like a lot of lipsticks these days but also is not matte, I would place it somewhere in the middle of the two. The colour stays on for a good length of time even after eating or drinking, about 5 hours without any touch ups. I also got it at sale price so extremely please with my purchase, good old max factor always been a reliable, good quality brand. " - very.co.uk user

Lip Color by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"Where to start with the glories of this lipstick??!I'm a Presenter so made-up professionally most days, and it's those make-up artists collective recommendation that have led me to Bobbi Brown. The truth is, now I've finally switched to BB after YEARS of loyalty elsewhere, I do genuinely feel like the equivalent of having just left my boring husband (if another, high end, skincare & make-up brand I've been with forever could be called my longstanding other half...) for the hottest, fittest, nicest lover you could possibly imagine...So that's it for me now, as I'm now just in LOVE with every single product I've bought, this lipstick being NO exception!!!The level of pigmentation in this BB lippie is just epic, yet it delivers that WITHOUT that horrible, weighed-down feeling you can sometimes get from heavily pigmented products. It's beautifully moisturising but without being too 'wet' or losing staying power, & the semi matte finish gives you a firm coverage with the tiniest hint of shimmer; something WAY better than a shimmery lipstick as you CAN'T tone that shimmer down, but with this you CAN then build shimmer to the max with just a slick of BB infamous Gloss in Clear.Given such a vast choice of shades, it was after a lot of struggle that I decided on 'Rose' and I'm sooooo glad I did. It's a gorgeous burnished deep pinky colour with masses of depth to it, & for added definition I'm using it with 'Bare' shade of BB Lip Pencil. What I love about this is it offers you just sooo many looks from only ONE Lipstick & simply by using the 3 products - Rose Lipstick, Clear Gloss, & Bare Lip Pencil - in different ways.So a simple one slick of the Lip Stick immediately gifts a glowing lip colour you KNOW will stay in place for hours; a couple of layers (allowing a minute or so between coats) gifts serious depth of colour, & then using the Lip Liner adds a perfect cupids bow; but for when you want to turn the volume up - so from day to night, or if at a day event - you simply do the above but then add slick of gloss & bang, event-ready lips to die for...PS: Given how much reviews have helped me I'm going to change (lazy!) habit of a lifetime & planning review EVERY single BB purchase; so IF this HAS helped then please DO tick that box as it's literally the only way I'll know if I'm helping others back & if I should carry on doing it:) « less" - bobbibrowncosmetics.ca user

ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor by Revlon

"Some mature women might have been hesitant to choose this vibrant color to test (Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor, 520 Neverending Purple, 0.07 oz), but I just LOVE purple and know older ladies can use bright, bright pinks and corals to great effect, so I thought, "Why not purple, too?" and I'm glad I did!I don't care that I've been wearing makeup for decades now. I never get tired of playing with it and I feel it gives me a pulled-together look and a look that says I care about my appearance. In fact, I was able to be a receptionist for a billion-dollar company even in my late fifties. The makeup helped me look "polished."I think a mistake women make is to be scared to use bright colors if they are older, if their skin isn't "perfect," and if they feel their features aren't "perfect." Hogwash! Brights look GOOD on ANYONE, it turns out! Not only do the COLORS look good, the CONFIDENCE shown is appealing, too! I no longer ask myself, "Oh, what will people think?" when choosing makeup and clothes. I ask myself, "Do YOU like this?" instead! Life's too short, people!Well, I'm talking a big talk, but I did apply the color lightly, just a dot on each side of the bow of the lip, then spread it out with my pinkie to corners for the top (put a dot, pull to side, put the other dot, pull to side), and a bigger dot on the bottom lip and pulled to each side with the pinkie. It gave a wonderful pop of color without emphasizing the lines around my lips. If you are young or don't have the lines yet, use the precise foam brush to fill in the lip with color, instead of spreading a small amount out with your pinkie. On my daughter-in-law, the solid, intense color looks fantastic. When applied lightly, this color is a vibrant pink with purple tone. When applied solidly, it looks more purple, but not a blue-based purple. It's a red-based, meaning it is more in the pink family. The name is truthful: Color-STAY. Yes, it stays and stays. I don't even retouch during the day.Have you seen Lipsense's Violet Reign? This reminds me of it, color-wise. Lipsense is all the rage, but I don't like it. I like, frankly, the Revlon and the Maybelline long-lasting (and 24-hour) lip colors. The Revlon Colorstay I especially like: It doesn't dry my lips, it's reasonable in price, and it lasts longer on me. I can layer it and pull it with my pinkie and it covers beautifully. It isn't patchy when I do this. BIG positive.I don't use the gloss end of the lipstick (it comes with the foam tilted coloring-in brush on one end, and a pointed brush-like tip for the gloss on the other) because I like a matte lip with bright colors. For a pinky-brown lip, yes, I'd use the gloss overlay. But for me, I like matte brights. « less" - walmart.com user

MJB Le Marc Lipstick Vault by Marc Jacobs Beauty

"I love this lipstick. A sephora beauty advisor recommended it to me in Cora Cora for a Vegas trip and I was seriously impressed (ended up wearing it the whole weekend). The first time I wore it i went all night and only reapplied once. It stayed on super well and was very pigmented. I have noticed the matte quality varies depending on the color. I went back and bought Miss Scarlet- a beautiful red, and Je T'aime- a soft raspberry and they are more of a semi-matte than Cora Cora. Both are now staples in my beauty routine. These colors are a little softer in consistency than Cora Cora, I am not sure why but you can tell when looking at the lipstick in the tube, some are a slightly shiner and result in a softer feel and slightly shiner look. This formula is so comfortable, my lips didn't feel dry or cracked. I also noticed there is very little color transfer for lipstick- my water bottle was not covered in lipstick by the end of my workday lol. I hope MJB comes out with more neutral colors (they have a second line with nudes but they aren't as pigmented)! Less" - Sephora user

Rouge Darmani by Giorgio Armani Beauty

"This lipstick is better than I expected. I was sent this product for free to test and review but I must admit, at first I was skeptical about wearing a bright red. I have near porcelain skin so the second I slightly mess up a red lip, my entire face is stained red. I’m also self conscious about my teeth looking yellow against a vibrant red.As usual, I managed to carelessly smear my lipstick all over my face while putting my makeup on, but fortunately this lipstick did not stain my skin! Nor did the shade make my teeth look too yellow. It slides on creamy and doesn’t feel overly wet or dry. The pigment is very high and I can tell the product is quality (For a more sheer look, one may want to add chapstick underneath or blot after applying.)One application lasted me a full day. Before lunch, it was very pigmented and after lunch it was more sheer but did not crack into pieces.I would recommend the Rouge D’Armani Matte Lipstick to someone who is looking for a quality lipstick to carry around. The top to the lipstick is magnetic so it wouldn’t pop open in a purse. It also would be a good alternative to a liquid lipstick if you’re looking for something that wears slightly less dry. Less" - Sephora user

Vice Lipstick by Urban Decay

L'Absolu Rouge by Lancôme

"Smoky Rouge is a beautiful red L'Absolu Rouge lipstick. My closest friends have been on my case for the past year, trying to get me to balance my eye makeup with bolder lip products. I love eye makeup in all sorts of shades, but prefer lip balms and glosses. A few months ago, they gave me a huge basket filled with a ton of lip products, most of which were darker than anything I'd ever pick. I've been trying to work my way through the basket. I saved the darkest deepest ones until last, so I could use them while we're on vacation, giving me a chance to decide if I could get used to them, or if they just looked ridiculous. Smoky Rouge is the darkest lip products This is the third L'Absolu Rouge lipstick from that basket. All three of these lipsticks are very moisturizing. Each stays on my lips for a couple of hours, but they all feel heavy. I could feel their presence on my lips. I prefer lip products that I can't feel but I understand that often the colors that stay the longest are the colors that have a more physical presence on my lips. There's an obvious trade-off, meaning that feeling them on my lips means they're probably going to stay in place longer than those that I don't feel. Smoky Rouge is red, and looks as if it would work for all women, no matter what their skin tone. If this is going to be a signature color and used a lot, I can highly recommend it, which was my feeling on the other two lipsticks. I appreciate that my friends bought me these lip products. However, for someone like me who wears lipstick as little as possible, I wouldn't spend $29 on a lip product knowing I'd barely use it unless it was for a special occasion. I much rather put my money into eye make up. However, this is obviously a really nice lipstick so if you're willing to spend $29 for it, I highly recommend it." - sephora user

Pure Color Envy Hi Lustre Light Sculpting Lipstick by Estée Lauder

"I got this first in Irresistible. I do like and appreciate good packaging but I will not buy a product just for it. The absolutely elegant blue n gold packaging with the magnetic closure and sturdy heavy feel cannot be missed. The first time I tried this on my lips I was absolutely sold. It is not a small price tag so I wanted a more neutral shade that I will use. This shade was a pink-mauve-brown neutral. It felt extremely moisturizing, not slippery, did not bleed outside lines. At the same time it did stay on my lips for a good 5-6 hours with eating and drinking through a straw. It does transfer but does not wear off easily. I also went and picked up the Intense Nude shade. They 2 shades I got are close to each other but I love them specially if you go a little intense or colorful with the eyes. Just a note- better to swatch these in the store and pick a shade as the color in the swatch online on any website does not do it justice. I got the Fierce as it looked like a brown- maroon but it ended being more of a deep coral-orange-brown. Similarly I got Discreet as it looked like a neutral deep brown but it was much lighter in person. So swatching it in person helps. Overall- I love this lipstick. It is a splurge. It has a great range of shades from light to deep- warm to cool. The feel on the lips is divine and it amazingly does last. And as I said- you cannot miss the decadent packaging. I would definitely recommend this product. « less" - Macy's user

Pure Color Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick by Estée Lauder

"This is my first Estee Lauder makeup purchase, and it won't be my last, I wanted a long-lasting lipstick that straddled the coral/pink/ daytime divide and Culture Clash was selected by the makeup artist at the Chicago store and she hit the nail on the head. The color is rich and looks good on its own, but I layer my new Chanel Rouge Allure #156 in Lost(a pinky/beige)on top and the color lasted for several hours and did not dry out my lip, although I think the Chanel matte's are more moisturizing, the Lauder is a very close second. I also like the magnetic closure ." - Nordstrom user

Satin Lipstick by MAC

"It's very flattering on my NW10 skin tone. I think this color would work on a variety of skin tones, from pale to deep & cool to warm. It's not the most pigmented Mac matte lipstick I have used, though it's far from a sheer lustre or glaze. More pigmented lips may need 2-3 layers, but it builds up nicely without looking too thick on the lips. The finish is described as a matte with pearl. The pearl is very subtle, I don't even notice it. I think the finish is more like a satin, without being thick like the satins can be. It's not as drying as most mattes. It wears a really long time too, about 3 hours if I'm really eating & drinking, 5-6 hours without much eating or drinking. It stains a bit unevenly, a pet peeve of mine, & I wish I could give it 4.5 stars for that reason. If I blot & apply a light second layer, it stains a bit more evenly. I really like the formula & the color. Some say this is a cross between a pink & red. On me, it's a deep fushia. I was a bit over bright pinks, but this one has enough depth that it doesn't feel outdated. I hope it sticks around, it's a fun color for spring/summer nights. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="479970605263461781-full" data-show="479970605263461781-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - M·A·C user

Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon by Marc Jacobs Beauty

"All bets are off. This is hands down the best lip stick I have ever tried. The texture is out of this world--it honestly shocked me when I swatched it on my hand. I was so confused--I am not used to such creamy, pigmented texture that doesn't pull at your skin. This felt like SILK. I applied it to my lips and it was so creamy and buttery. It even smoothed out the chapped portions of my lips. I am a huge nude lipstick fanatic and so I was excited to try Send Nudes and Burn Notice. My only hope is that they will add even more colors since the nude colors are a little darker than I usually gravitate towards but I found that if you tap it on your lips and spread it with a brush, you will get a lighter application. Smoothing it on my lips as I typically do with my nude lipsticks created too much of a "bold" look for me... even with the lightest colors. PLEASE marc jacobs, do us all a favor and add lighter colors. I wore this to work and I reapplied after lunch. Absolutely obsessed. I received this product complimentary for review purposes." - sephora user

Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue Ultra Wear Liquid Lip Colour by Chanel

"I have been using this product for awhile and love the bold color that lasts all day without drying my lips. I started with Sensual Rose and received many compliments. I then purchased Soft Rose to use when I wanted a slightly more neutral color. Unfortunately, Chanel discontinued Soft Rose. The online beauty adviser said Darling Pink looked to be the closest match to Soft Rose. WRONG. Since this color is not opaque like the others, it was difficult to apply smoothly, showed all the lines in my lip and basically was a wash-out color wise. I am now trying Milky Blueberry. This is definitely a berry/plum color and a little brighter than I was looking for, but it covers beautifully like the others and so I thought I would try it. " - Nordstrom user

Outlast All-Day Lip Color With Topcoat by Covergirl

"I have always been a big fan of Outlast. I have tried some of the other all day brands and keep coming back to this one because you get more applications per tube, dries quicker, doesn't peel off, gloss is not real slick or wet, and doesn't dry my lips out like some do. I only wish that they could put both color and gloss in one piece so that I don't have to carry two seperate appl;icators. Also, be careful with the color samples offered if they are a roundish swish of color as they are lighter than the actual color. Try to look closely at the actual picture of the product for a truer color match. Remember, as far as I have found, there is no such thing as "all day wear," unless you don't eat or drink. You will need to re-apply after meals, but it does stay put for most of the day. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-6626100064237683756-full" data-show="-6626100064237683756-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user

Throwbacks Lipstick by MAC

"I'm NW10, pale with cool undertones. Purchased cordovan. Really hope it isn't LE. Cordovan is a rose red, with a cool undertone. Very pigmented. Applies opaque with just a little product. Feels very light on the lips. I had no feathering or shifting, but it did transfer. Wire nicely and left an even stain behind. The finish is initially glossy, but dries down to a satin. It has the same light sweet vanilla scent as the regular line of Mac lipsticks. It didn't dry out my lips at all, with all day wear. And the packaging, it's brilliant! Color coordinated packaging that looks really highend and expensive, yes please. My only negative is the shape of the lipstick. In bolder colors, I require a lip liner or lip brush for a nice even lip line. I'm nowhere near talented enough to apply this color straight from the tube, I looked a mess. That makes it fine for getting ready, but it's a slight annoyance when out and I need to reapply. Otherwise I'm obsessed! « less" - M·A·C user

"I was delighted to see Bite release more of the lipstick duos! I was a big fan of them when they originally came out during the holidays, and it's still living on! The packaging is a matte black tube with a silicone texture. The caps feature the products name, so my biggest concern is accidentally switching them around and confusing the colors. I really wish you would have been able to mix and match to create your own custom combination! The lipsticks are creamy, smooth, opaque, pigmented and rather long-lasting. Especially paired with a lip liner. Worn by themselves, these lipsticks last around 4-5 hours on me. The formula does feel hydrating while on your lips, however once they being to wear away you are left feeling a little chapped. And because they are so creamy and smooth, they do transfer. Whether you're eating, drinking, kissing -- you name it. The more you use your lips, the faster they will wear away. (Pair with a lip liner helps with wear time!) I own both duos are they are both incredible! Palomino is a warm-toned, vibrant magenta. It feathered the slightest amount and lasted +4 hours before showing noticeable fading. Vioet is a warm-toned, pink violet. It's not a full on purple, but it's nice if you're trying to transition in getting comfortable wearing purple shades. Violet lasted +5/6 hours, it's also my favorite of the four! Musk is a medium nude brown with slight warm undertones and Lychee is a soft, peach brown. Depending on your skintone, I can see both shades being adored for how nude they are. I'm an NW 10/15 and personally, I found Musk to be too brown for my liking. Both wore well over 5 hours. I absolutely adore Bite lipsticks and I highly recommend trying them out! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="1049167308656951616-full" data-show="1049167308656951616-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Lip Velvet by Burberry Beauty

"These blushes are amazing. They are lightweight, pigmented, blend perfectly, and last all day. They feel so soft on the skin and are very finely milled so they look like skin, not powdery. They are mostly matte with a slight satin finish, and not flat even though they don't have any sheen or glitter. They really do just impart a natural glow.Cameo - medium dirty rose with very slight plum undertones. Perfect on my cool skin tone (Porcelain in Burberry foundation for colour reference). I was worried this one might be too dusty / brown, but it is not at all. It looks like the natural flush babies have...seriously. This one works for both warm and cool undertones as it does have a perfect balance both.Tangerine - Soft peach with pink undertones. Not too orange, coral, or pink - it's just a very natural looking colour. This one has a perfect balance of warm and cool tones as well, which is great as usually I cannot wear orange blushes because they are typically all very warm and tend to look a bit muddy or gold on me. This one is seriously gorgeous, I was shocked at how well it wears. It really livens my complexion, makes my eyes look super vibrant blue and overall just very healthy.Earthy - This one is, if not already, going to be a cult classic. It's a soft tan that again will work on both cool and warm undertones. It gives a natural, light dusting of warmth and glow.It works amazing on my fair skin - it's not too orange, brown or too grey, and it can be built up to work on everyone. I love to use it as bronzer, or for contouring, as a nude eyeshadow, or natural blush when I want to wear bold lip or eye looks. My 2 fav looks so far:- Burberry Military Red liner all over lips, Military Red Lip Velvet lipstick on top, then earthy as bronzer and cameo as blush.- Burberry Garnet liner just on the outside edge of lips, smudged to soften, layer Cameo lipgloss on top, Tangerine blush.Highly recommend these blushes. Burberry knocked it out of the park with these!. « less" - Sephora user

Glamore Lipstick by Illamasqua

"I usually use the 4.5 and I have to say it's the only foundation I have found that matches my skin perfectly. I just need it to cover my rosacea problem areas, I don't go for full face coverage. I have yellowish pink skin and as you can imagine, it's really hard to find something that caters for that! I also have dry flaky skin with oily spots. So it has been very difficult to find something that works for me. So far this is the only foundation that matches my skin tone (I also use the skin base mixer sometimes to lighten my foundation in specific areas.) The trick with this foundation and the issue with it sliding off of my skin is the following: Spray on a matte finish setting spray. Use a matte/velvet skin base in a very small quantity. Lightly powder my skin with translucent loose powder. Apply small amounts of foundation to red areas (cheeks, nose, chin.) Wet sponge and apply more loose powder using damp sponge. Apply setting spray again! Hey presto. The foundation covers my redness and stays for most of the day(10 hours plus)! It also doesn't dry out and become flaky as always happens with me and nearly all foundations. It took more than a decade to work out the perfect regime for me and to find the perfect foundation. I recommend this for people with rosacea, dry flaky skin... oily skin and pink/yellow skin tones all in one. Less" - www.illamasqua.com user

Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour by Chanel

"It really is long lasting, glides on very smoothly (but not too creamy that it melts away and transfers all over), comfortable and non-drying, highly pigmented with good color range, luxurious packaging, no cosmetic/chemical smell (if you know what I mean). Do I need to say more? ;)I got 'gracile', a great everyday color and 'pirate' a deep red-blue color for holidays. " - Nordstrom user

Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick by theBalm

"I was not expecting too much with these liquid lipsticks because I have never had much luck having lipsticks stay on very long even supposed "long wearing" lipstick or "waterproof" liquid lipstick or whatever claim was made that it would stay on for hours or even all day! So when I received these beautifully packaged Matt(e) lipsticks I was so excited to try them! And when I did oh boy was I in love! They are the creamiest softest smoothest liquid lipsticks I have ever tried! They are the perfect consistency not too thick not too thin and they just feel so silky on your lips they are not drying for a matte lipstick and wow did the color really pop! My fiance absolutely loves the two colors I chose! He also loves that when I kiss him he's not wearing my lipstick too! LOL I will definitely be buying more of these beauties soon! I love the balm cosmetics! You guys are the bomb! 💣 Less" - thebalm.com user
