Backstage Gel Eyeliner Black Free Gift Sample by TONYMOLY

"I'm a massive researcher into anything I get before I buy it. I read millions of reveiws on the Tony moly eyeliner before I decided to bite the bullet and purchase. MATEEEEEE! the reviews saying how smooth it is 10/10 correct. I have never had such amazing application in my life. I don't really like winging my eyeliner because the curve of my eye already has a wing, however I love using gel eyeliners in my waterline (tightling). This is such a nice eyeliner, however, because it is so smooth and easy to apply sometimes my upper lining does smudge a bit onto my bottom eye. I'm going to give you a kind blowing tip: press a bit of eyeshadow onto of any eyeliner you apply and it low key becomes waterproof. Tried that with this. A. M. A. Z. I. N. G. Wow, just wow. Stayed or day, slayed all day smooth and amazing application with a gorgeously dark black and absolutely no smudging or movement. Perfect. AMC Eyeliner Gel by Inglot

"This is probably one of the best eyeliners out there for quality, quantity, and price! Buy this and you will not be sorry! I live for black eyeliner...feel naked without it and I am picky but this rocks!!!!I bought the black gel liner. It is the darkest black I have come across. Very easy to apply. It all depends on your brush and the look you are going for. It dries matte which does not take long to dry. You can apply thin or thick. Once it dries, it will not smudge or run (even worn through sweaty workout so it is waterproof.) It stays on forever that it is even hard to remove. You have to use a good eye makeup remover (target sells a generic brand up and up that is really good and affordable) to really take this off. I have to wipe my eyes 3-4 times with cotton ball and eye makeup remover to take this off. This gel liner is not going anywhere. You get so much for the price. I keep my container upside down to prevent it from drying although I have not had that problem. I like this much better than mac's black track, Maybelline, and tart's tartiest clay liner.I really recommend you buy this if you are looking for a smudge proof, long-lasting, easy to apply, and very pigmented gel liner. And at the price and how much you get compared to other gel liners, it's a steal. « less" - Macy's user

When Pencil Met Gel by julep

"These eyeliners are amazing! I have always hated putting on liner, but when I reached my mid-thirties, my eyes started to appear smaller and not as bright, so I started using liner daily and found that it makes a huge difference. This gel formula is so easy to apply, even for someone not used to putting on liner. It stays on all day, yet is easy to remove at the end of the day, unlike the other brand I've been wearing, which is a 24 hour formula. I love all the colors available, but I got the smoky plum in a free gift package, and it is AMAZING. It's the perfect color for me... unlike black or brown, it doesn't age me or smudge and cause dark circles, and it's more work appropriate than the white and silver liners I tend to gravitate toward. Over all this is my favorite product since joining Maven 6 months ago." - ulta user

Double Wear Stay-in-Place Gel Eyeliner by Estée Lauder

"This mascara is the one mascara I buy no matter what, but I almost always buy two. Why? I have dry eye syndrome. My ophthalmologist plugged my tear ducts to help trap the tears in my eyes increasing moisture. It works fairly well, but sometimes my eyes overproduce tears. I also use eye drops a lot. This means that on top of drops running over my my eye makeup, a fan blowing on my face, a change in humidity, or who knows what will cause one eye or both to begin to sheet tears over my face removing almost every makeup I've tried. This is the only mascara I've found that will stay on over the course of the day. Yes, I've tried everything out there at all price points from the cheapest drugstore to the most expensive department store brands. Those that forms tubes scatter those tubes across my cheeks. Waterproof mascaras forms clumps under my lashes. Non-waterproof mascaras spread a haze under my eyes. This isn't my favorite mascara for length or fullness. My solution is to use it on my lower lashes. I usually use EL waterproof sumptuous mascara for the upper lashes with a final coat of double wear on top. If my eyes haven't been tearing over the past few days I can get away with using a different under layer brand of mascara, but I always like to seal it with a coat of double wear. Oh, and yes I've even tried the newest mascaras that you have to buy exclusive makeup removers for to take off. It took less than 15 minutes for my tears to remove that mascara. If I know I'm headed for day of all out makeup abuse like to a beach or travel, etc. I use just the doublewear to make sure it lasts. Using a layer of MAC paint pot under my eye shadow (instead of any eye shadow base) and a Laura Mercier gel eyeliner with Shiseido's Sun Protection Liquid Foundation SPF 42 PA+++ insures that I'll get to the end of the day and still need to remove my makeup. I've yet to find any other mascara, eye shadow, eye liner, or foundation that can last through my tearing problems. I highly recommend Doublewear Mascara if you're looking for a way to prevent smudging under the eyes and make your mascara last all day despite humidity, water, tears, crying, and anything else your day might through at it. « less" - Nordstrom user

Clay Pot Waterproof Shadow Liner by Tarte

"I'm really enjoying how effective and beautiful Tarte EmphasEYES™ Waterproof Clay Shadow / Liners are. I've already enjoyed Bronze and Indigo, and now tried Plum which is so beautiful and makes my brown eyes sparkle. There's no doubt in my mind that these Tarte Shadow/Liners are the top non-pencil liners available. I'm not the most agile with some of the liquid or semi-liquid liners that aren't pencil or makers, but this one is so easy and it always seems to look as if it's been done by a professional. What's impressive is that it applies so evenly as a liner that I never see any line breakage even if I don't make it from one end of the lash line to the next. With traditional liquid liners, sometimes it's difficult to join a started line together and have it look like it's a continuous line. Never a problem with this liner. The other thing I really like is that as a liner, this looks less harsh than the looks I get from a traditional liquid liner. It's a softer and warmer looking line, which makes me look more approachable. The dual ended brush that comes with this product is really excellent and makes applying this a breeze. One end of the brush is for a perfect line, and the other end for shadow application. I'm impressed at how Tarte didn't skimp with the brush, unlike other manufacturers who often include brushes that aren't sufficient for the product application. I'll be able to use these brushes years after the product is gone. So many times, I've found that the best product application depends on a good brush.I had really great results from the deep blue Indigo. I used a silvery shadow as my base. Then I used the Indigo to make a very thin precision line defining my eyes and then very slightly smudged it the other corner of my eyes. The look was very elegant and simple. I created a very similar look with the Plum, using a slightly shimmery silvery lilac, almost pearlized shadow, instead of the silver as my base. These looks are nice changes from heavier smudged and smoky eyes.I like the look this creates as both shadow and liner. It really is easy to use and it has such a soft finish that isn't harsh like so many other liquid or semi-liquid products. While I'm not the greatest with liquid and potted liners, generally preferring pencils, this turns out to be somewhere in the middle - the look is more professional and more formal, but it's not overly formal and harsh like a liquid.I find that these shades last a long time as shadow and liner, and is easy to smudge, although once applied it doesn't budge. It smudges evenly, and much better than some other products made for smudging. It even stays put on my inner rims without irritating my eyes. The Indigo works really well with my brown eyes, making the whites look whiter, and the Plum gives my brown eyes an extra sparkle (according to my husband). The Bronze is beautiful. This product can be used for elegant traditional looks and it can also be used for those that are more contemporary. Using this as liner, I've even been able to create a bit of drama just by adding a base shadow in a light shade, black mascara, and a couple of times added mascara coordinated to the color of the liner on the lips of my lashes over the black mascara. Simple to create, it looks really good and took only two or three minutes from start to finish.I love these liners/shadows. They're so easy to use. It's easy create a style that looks as if it tool a long time to pull off but only takes a few minutes. I highly recommend them (and wish that Tarte made a green shade). « less" - Sephora user

Jet Set Waterproof Eye Liner by Smashbox

"At first I wasn’t sure about purchasing this product because I've always used pencils in the past but I was tired of having raccoon eyes by the end of the day so I wanted to try something different. I’ve tried so many eyeliners and no matter what they would always smear. Every time I’d go out I always had to carry my eyeliner with me because I had to reapply. This one stays on all day and the midnight black is intense, which is what I was looking for. I love it because its waterproof so it works great on your waterline but it comes off easily with make-up remover or by simply washing your face. I would definitely recommend this product. It’s worth the price tag." - Sephora user

Gel Eyeliner Pencil by ULTA Beauty

"I normally use the Ulta Automatic Eyeliner in Black/Brown because I've always preferred a crayon-style application versus a pencil. Yet, in recent years, I've found that this type of application isn't as easy anymore (perhaps with age) and I've struggled through various brands to find something that will mimic how my eyeliner used to look. I'm terrible at liquid eyeliner but have recently tried it as well in my quest to go back to my 'used to'. In a particularly frustrated moment last week, I thought that maybe my Automatic Eyeliner was defective because it was not applying well whatsoever. I usually buy 2-3 at a time so I opened a new one and was at first not happy to see a pencil-tip. I had mistakenly picked up the Gel in the Black/Brown shade during my last purchase. I gave it a try anyway and it turned out to be one of the best mistakes I've ever made! It glides on smoothly, lasts all day with very little to no "bleeding", has a clean line but also looks great smudged for a smokey effect, and requires zero tug to apply. I've finally found my go-to! « less" - ulta.com user

Highliner Glam Glitter Gel Eye Crayon by Marc Jacobs Beauty

"Since receiving these two eyeliners a few months ago, I have literally not worn any other liners...they are that good. I am not particularly adventurous with eyeliner shades, so I stayed in my comfort zone and ordered (Stone)Fox, which is a charcoal grey with gorgeous silver shimmer, and Brown(out), which is a deep, bronze-y brown with gold shimmer. I'd say they are basics, but there is really nothing basic about them. With almost effortless ease, these both glide across the lid like silk and leave behind a surprisingly complex line of shimmering color. The shimmer is just perfect - not too glittery or over-the-top, so it's a great option for both day and evening..You have a little bit of time to smudge the line out, if you so desire, but both of these set quickly and stay put. Though both shades work beautifully with eyeshadows, I most often wear them alone as they are so pretty that I hate to cover them up in any way. If you want a super-thin, precise line, be sure to use the included sharpener as the liner is very soft and does tend to create a thicker line after a few uses. I personally like a little thicker line, especially on my upper lid, as I want to show off these gorgeous shades and shimmer. Now that I've tried and fallen head over heels with these, I'm putting (Luna)tic at the top of my wishlist. I've heard a rumor that there is going to be a Holiday 2014 set of these highliners. If so, I know what Santa is going to be bringing me this year :) « less" - Sephora user

Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I adore Bobbie Brown gel eyeliners! They go on with ease (especially if you use one of her eyeliner brushes; I prefer the ultra fine eyeliner brush; if the directions for use aren't on the sephora website; you can find them on her site), last forever, and wash off with a gentle cleanser and warm water. I get no smudging or smearing, no raccoon eyes (I use them on the upper lash line only), just a perfect thin line right along my upper lash line to make my lashes appear thicker than they actually are and add some depth and interest to my eyes. And by using a brush, you can choose the thickness of the liner; I prefer a thin line right at/in the lash line that makes my lashes seem lusher but doesn't look "make up" or unrealistic on me (I rarely wear makeup, so when I do I tend to go for a natural look, just to enhance what I already have and cover some imperfections). This time I got the Caviar Ink, a nice deep brown-black color (it seems to have a touch more brown than black in it, but I love it). I also have and love the Sepia Ink, but after many years of (not) daily use, and despite keeping the jar tightly closed, it has started to dry out (and when I say many years, think 5+...I wash my eyeliiner brush (I have both the regular and ultra fine eyeline brushes and use both with ease) after each use and each eye, so the pot of eyeliner remains uncontaminated). The only other color I tried at the recommendation of a Bobbie Brown consultant at a department store was Chocolate Shimmer Ink and although it seemed okay at first (in the store and the first couple of times I used it), I don't like it; there is to much shimmer in it (which I abhore; I wish everyone would stop putting "shimmer" in everything!) and there is a very signficant reddish hue that absolutely does not work with fair skin coloring or my preferred eye shadow colors. Although I adore BB eyeliners, I do want to add a word of caution, borne of experience: choose your colors carefully. If the name includes the word "shimmer" (be it eyeliner or eyeshadow) it will contain more than just a hit of shimmer; it will most likely contain some signficant sparkle (not quite to the ultra-metallic stage, but some get very close, such as Sandy Gold long-wearing eyeshadow, the shimmer from which will migrate across the face, ears, hair, etc. Woe be to the person who accidentally touches their eye and then something else, for sparkes and shimmer will follow and appear everywhere! This is super shimmer look is NOT a good look on anyone over 20, let alone a professional look on anyone regardless of age. I've tried other eyeliners (pencils, sticks, gels, etc.) over the years and keep coming back to Bobbie Brown gel liners. They give me the colors, precision and ease of use I want and need. Overall, they are still a 5-star products for their color, texture, ease of use and wearability! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="2143103372778647048-full" data-show="2143103372778647048-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Precision Gel Liner by Illamasqua

"This is the holy grail it holds up to the claim of being waterproof and all day staying power even with the most oily skin type. I have used it all that's available out there and I happened to hear of this on a blog thread about the best eyeliners and it wasn't a recommendation by the blogger but a reader mentioned it and I never herd of it but she talked so highly about it so I figured I would look into it and even tho it wasn't a common name that anyone around me has used or herd of I checked out the site for it and it is a bit on the expensive side I figured why not I've wasted tons on at least a hundred different ones just trying to find one that holds up and I'm so glad I did because this stuff is the best quality and quantity for the price and it will last you forever so it's well worth it for me and my unforgiving oily skin because it hold true to its claims of waterproof once it drys it stays but when your ready to take it off it comes off easy with a little makeup remover and water so if you need a liner that stays then buy this I can't say it enough you will not regret this purchase in fact you will want to rave about it like I am now to everybody who's in the market for that perfect one because this is it everyone needs to know about this!!!!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - illamasqua.com user

Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"FINALLY - someone did it: a pencil with a fine enough tip that it can do what a tiny pointed brush can do but even better, sharpenable to a precise enough point, and does not require carrying extra junk around (like a sharpener) AND is dark enough! Bobbi did it. Can count on her to actually solve problems like this that everybody knows about but nobody seems to truly address. This is the one pencil that can double for the gel in the pot. Has saved me 5 min. In the morning now - no more time spent washing brushes, etc. The liner in the pot is always going to be more intense but the pencil is truly a close second. This is also an excellent choice for a more natural look using liner. Goes on smoothly - which in itself is a miracle (because you know d well that none of them ever really do go on smoothly or as advertised...) Use a gentle touch when sharpening and yes, they need to manufacture this so that it does not require hands of steel to pull off the sharpener at the other end of the pencil. Put in freezer to get a little more control over sharpening or prevent breakage and then sharpen. Stroke super lightly on a tissue placed onto a flat surface to hone the edge to an even more precise point or chisel. Dot inbetween lashes and then smudge and you can emulate mascara without mascara. Love! Thank you Bobbi!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-4041894645314342535-full" data-show="-4041894645314342535-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - bobbibrowncosmetics.com user

Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H by L'Oreal

"I have this eyeliner in expresso color and I love it! Normally, I use black eyeliner, but the expresso color is dark enough that it looks almost black. Okay, so prior to trying this I used the pencil type eyeliner. From my experience, pencil eyeliner often smears and leaves marks on my upper eyelids later on in the day as I blinked more. However, I don’t have any problem with this eyeliner; it stays the same the whole day! One thing I had to get used to was the brush, initially my strokes didn’t appear very clean or smooth but with more practice they look great now. I just had to learn how to angle the brush and apply it properly. Pros: - Doesn’t smear and last through the whole day! - With practice and getting used to the brush, it provides a very clean and even finish Cons: - This is a little more expensive than what I am used to, but it is worth it! I am using it every day now. I would definitely recommend this! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - walmart.com user

Perfect Eyes Eyeliner by Too Faced

"Too Faced's Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner is much better than the company claims. How often does that happen? Too Faced claims it lasts for eight hours. While I know we should never sleep with eye makeup, I was testing something else (a 24 hour mascara), so slept with my new Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner, too. I figured that since the mascara (black) and the liner (Perfect Brown) are different shades, it would be easy to tell which smeared, if there were any smudge marks on the pillow.First of all, the eyeliner is wonderful. It applied easily. While it could be smudged if desired, before it sets, all I wanted to do was use it to define. I wanted to use the brown because it's a softer look than black, and it makes my black lashes stand out to their best advantage instead of using black against black, where everything blends together. It just about glides on. The point gave me a fine line, but with more pressure could be a wider one. The liner stayed. And stayed. And stayed. In fact, it stayed for 26 hours with a smudge, smear, or budge, before I removed it in the shower. I slept in it, and there wasn't a mark on my face or pillow from either the liner or the mascara I was testing.Since this stayed on more than 3 times longer than the company claims, and since it's applies easily, looks great, and is gentle, I'd have to say it's one of the best liners out there. In my opinion, it performs much better than the 24/7's from another company, although Too Faced doesn't have the extensive shades available yet. I hope to get another one soon. I'm totally impressed by this eyeliner. Less" - Sephora user

Eyeliner Gel Black Cosmic Shimmer Gel732 by L.A. Colors

"this is an awesome eyeliner. I have bobbi brown, maybelline, this, and wet'n wild gel liners.*smudging:Compare to most other liners i've tried, this doesnt smudge much, and after it is completely dried, it doesnt smudge at all. so i wouldn't recommend this if you are going for smudge smoky look. I do have monolid, so it smudges a bit before it gets dried but not too bad. I'm assuming that this probably will stay fine on regular eyes.*staying power/fading/running:Staying power is great since it looked great after 8 hours without any touchups. It fades throughout the day but it's not noticible. It doesnt run at all. it flakes a bit after about 4-5 hours so i had to wipe it off with my hand under my eyes, but it didn't make a mess.*ease of application:it's super creamy, light, and goes on well. bold color (dark dark black!) and goes on as it shows in the pot. really easy to apply even if you are new to gel liners. just make sure you get a decent brush.*comparison to other gel liners:Bobbi Brown- ease of application and creamy and bold color are about the same. BB lasts a bit longer and smudges less. It also doesn't flake. HOWEVER, all the benefits are not by much at all and by no means account for the price difference.Maybelline- all the criteria are about the same with Maybelline. One benefit with Maybelline is that it comes with the brush and dries faster (which can be good or bad) but that's about it. since essence is less than half the price, i would recommend this one if you already have a decent brush.Wet'n Wild- I got this since so many ppl on youtube and blogs raved about it. I completely disagree. I hate this gel liner with passion. The worst liner i've ever tried. it costs about the same as this one, but hard to apply, streaky color (if it shows at all), clumpy, flaky, and all the worst things you could say about an eye liner. it gave me a new definition of an eyeliner. I dont know how people can rave about it(maybe mine is defective or dried out or something...)*overall quality:One thing worth mentioning is that it's made in italy!! i think italy and germany makes the best eyeliners. anyways, it is unbeatable price, awesome quality, and i'll be buying it in all other colors as well! :) « less" - ulta.com user

Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Duo by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"After years of using pencil, I decided to try this gel liner in order to achieve a dark, defined line that was long-wearing and didn't smudge. I'm happy to say that it ticked all the boxes, and now I don't think I can ever go back. It's very easy to apply, but the trick is to have the right brush - make sure it's very thin. All you need to do is dab your brush in the pot and apply in small strokes. Go over the line to thicken it or even it out. You'll have a few seconds to clean up any mistakes with a cotton tip, but it sets very quickly so make sure you work fast. This liner lasts all day but can be easily removed with an oil-based eye make up remover. You don't need to use much, so the pot will last a long, long time, making it great value for money. " - mecca.com.au user

Liner Love Anti Aging Crème Gel Eyeliner by IT Cosmetics

"I've gone through a lot of eye liners and I've always had difficulty finding one that doesn't smudge. I have very oily skin and I live in Texas so I sweat whenever I walk outside. I'm used to wearing gel liner because pencil or liquid liners just melt off and it ends up everywhere around my eyes. I used the Maybelline gel liner and it worked better, then I used the tarte gel liner and it worked even better but they still smudged a little even though they are waterproof. I almost repurchased the tarte liner until I saw it cosmetics. I've herd everyone rave about them and the liners where the same price, but you get a LOT more product from the it cosmetics. I was worried that it wasn't going to do the job. I've been wearing it for a few days and I'm completely wowed! I've gone 12 hours without taking it off and it still holds. I even took a nap today and the makeup never moved. It did smudge a little but barely and only into the late hours after I've had it on all day. I just have to say that I've never used a liner that has worked this well. I haven't tried a smokey eye with it yet." - ulta user

Inkstroke Gel Eyeliner by Shiseido

"I originally bought the green, and loved it so much I bought the purple. I then loved both of them so much, I just ordered the blue. They set and stay all day without smudging. The colours aren't super vibrant. It is hard to differentiate them from black/brown from afar, but the added colour definitely makes a difference to the overall look.I think my favourite parts, however, are the packaging's features. It came with a wonderful, useable, and travel friendly brush. Also, sticking out of the middle is a little plastic 'V'. Normally, you would wipe your brush on the side of the jar, but using this thing leaves the sides clean, and distributes the product perfectly on the brush.Overall, I can't think of a better product. I just wish there were more colours! " - Sephora user

Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner by Rimmel

"I just picked up this eyeliner a couple of days ago, and I instantly fell in love with it! I got the colour black, and it is great and pigmented. Since I am a newbie to gel eyeliners, I was scared to try it out. But I ended up making a pretty good flick and got lots of compliments on it throughout the day. The brush that comes with the eyeliner isn't the best, but it's ok. I used a regular angled liner brush instead. It is very long wearing (no smudges or transferring!!) but it takes a couple minutes for it to dry. I put it on, and immediately ran my finger across it and it smudged a lot. If you let it dry, it won't. I would probably recommend this to anyone wanting a nice affordable eyeliner with long wear and awesome pigmentation. This is a great product for beginners and for beauty gurus. Less" - rimmellondon.com user

ColorStay Creme Gel Eyeliner by Revlon

"I do not wear much make up but I always line the top rim of my eyelids to make my eyelashes look fuller. I have been searching for a long-lasting eyeliner that is easy to apply but also easy to take off when I screw up. This is it! Revlon Colorstay has the perfect balance of permanent but fixable. The amount in the jar lasts a long time so you really get a lot for what you purchase. The creme goes on very smoothly. It is a little bit more difficult to draw thin lines because of the brush design. One reviewer complained that if you try to add multiple coats the second coat rubs off the first. From my experience as long as you wait for the first coat to dry you should not have problems adding multiple layers of this eyeliner. This eyeliner lasts all day for me. I use the charcoal color. It has a bit of a shimmer to it, especially when you are outside. When I surf or swim my friends always ask how my eyeliner is still perfect. It doesn't smudge or run in the heat either. Thank you Revlon for making a product that actually stays on for a long time!!!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-3171629564410877466-full" data-show="-3171629564410877466-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

"I have an eyeliner addiction. This means that I have about a zillion eyeliner pencils, every brand, price point, and color. Some are hit, but many are a miss. This pencil is a complete HIT. It goes on smooth without any fuss or muss, and it is easy for someone like me who really isn't all that good at putting on eyeliner. It stays on my eyes for hours without smearing, melting, or making my eyes itchy. I get so many compliments when I wear this!" - sephora user

Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner by Sephora Collection

"To all of the ladies who are trying to sharpen your pencil, the plastic gets "chewed up," and your sharpener(s) isn't "working," you are ruining your pencil. THE PENCIL ITSELF IS A TWIST-UP!!! There is also a small pull-out SHARPENER that sharpens the tip of the eyeliner!!! Come on now... Any who, this is seriously got to be the holy grail of eyeliners for tightlining. I originally went into Sephora looking for the Urban Decay All Nighter Eyeliner in Perversion because I had been using that for tightlining for a while, but when I spoke to an associate, they told me that the product had be discontinued. I was really bummed, but they suggested that I try out this new pencil that came out. Let me just say that I am so happy that I did. This liner seriously does not disappoint. It does NOT SMUDGE and is long wearing! It stays on literally all day without having to touch up or wipe off runny black panda eyes. Also, remember to keep the liner capped at all times when not in use. I made the mistake of leaving it uncapped one night and the next morning, the tip was dry and did not line well, but instead kind of "erased" the liner while I was trying to tightline back and forth on my lower lids. I'm really happy with this purchase. It is so worth it and also cheaper than most eyeliners. You won't be disappointed!" - sephora user
