"Env: developmentI admit, I am young looking for my age, and normally do not purchase make up or skin care products for "lift" or anti-aging properties. But I left my foundation at home so while visiting my mother I borrowed her **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20. ****Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **is a 1.0 ounce bottle of foundation with sun protection level 20. It is in a heavy glass bottle not easily broken, with a small "pump" similar to those on hand lotions used for dispensing the make up.Priced at approximately $45.00 it may be considered very expensive, but the bottle really does last a long time. The **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **foundation comes in approximately 15 colors to choose from, each of the starting with the title "lifting." It is designed for normal to dry skin.It advertises itself as a having the ability to transform you skin instantly to even younger looking skin. Quote, The innovative Micro-LiftTM technology with Pure Vitamin E immediately smoothes skin resulting in an instant, lines virtually disappear. Skin radiates seamless beauty.***My Viewpoint: ***I have now been using my **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **for several months. I probably would never have purchased this item for myself, but I also wear very little make up, such as some foundation, mascara and lipstick and I am out the door, especially at the price of $45.00. What was truly gratifying to me was after running around Dayton, Ohio all day long, and experiencing a rather stressfull day I stopped by my in laws (for some comfort and wine). My father in law said, "Wow!" Lisa you have always had beautiful skin, but you are absolutely glowing today," My mother in law wondered what I had done to my skin to make it look so smooth, soft and radiant. I actually had to think about it. Then I remembered! Now, to get that kind of reaction, I will definitely spend a lot more money on my foundation. Since a little goes a long way, and my skin looks healthy, why spend almost the same amount over the course of months buying bottle after bottle.**Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **holds up well in the Houston heat.it goes on smooth and creamy and is very easy to remove also. I have used it all summer, and without any other sun protection product I have avoided sun burns and my skin at the end of the day still looks fresh and smooth. Although I have never had a problem with acne, sometimes I would get a break out here and there when switching make up and that did not happen to me with this one.5 Stars from this 40 something mom. I intend to grow old gracefully, but not fight it and if this can make my face look smooth and radiant then I will definitely keep buying it.Env: development Less" - viewpoints.com user
"This is the most natural looking foundation that i have ever used, which is why, i love it so much. As, i don't care to wear heavy, masky foundations on a regular basis anymore, as it just isn't best for my skin overall. If i do wear a full coverage foundation, it is for special occasions only now, otherwise, this is the only foundation that i wear on a regular basis at this time and definitely will continue to do so, as long as MAC keeps selling it. I like that it's lightweight, doesn't break me out or irritate my skin in any way, plus, it is very long-lasting, and i happen to live where the climate is hot and humid almost all year round, and it holds up through such. And, i don't experience this foundation transferring all over the place like alot of other foundations do, plus, i have gotten my face wet while wearing this foundation and it never budged. Even though the foundation does have a runny consistency to it, i do find it very easy to apply with a brush to my face, and i am able to layer it without any issues in order to get the level of coverage i desire. In regards to my skintype, during the Fall and Winter Seasons, my skin goes from being dry to very dry. And, during the Spring and Summer months, my skin is dry, combination. I also have acne prone skin, and i suffer with seborrheic dermatitis that happens to flare up just about any time during the year. I find this foundation to blend seamlessly into my skin wirhout there being any type of sharp contrast between the color on my face and the color on my neck and the rest of my body. As, somehow, the color that i wear in this foundation, C2 just works perfectly for my light-medium skintone. With this foundation, it has a very, faint citrus smell, that immediately goes away soon after application. So, this foundation does not have any strong or offensive odor to it at all. Now, before you apply this foundation to your face, it is very important that you shake it real well, because this foundation does slightly separate, due to its very unique formulation. However, after you give it a good shake, then the foundation is all good to go. And, unlike alot of other foundations that i have tried, this foundation doesn't oxidize on me at all. And, even though it is designed to provide a satin finish, i have not experienced any issues with this foundation making my face look super dewy or super shiny looking at all within a few hours or truly anytime at all during the day. It just leaves this very slight hint of dewiness to my face, which i like, because no one is born with a super matte looking face anyways. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - M·A·C user
"I think spf in cosmetics causes me to break out and gives me milia so I try to avoid it whenever possible. I decided to try this foundation because it was one of the few I could find without spf. It still has the titanium dioxide which helps to shield the skin but does not have that heavy spf to it which I believe clogs my pores. The color of this foundation is beautiful. The linen beige is actually natural and not orange at all.Estee Lauder knows how to make natural skin tone shades. My skin feels so nice and smooth when Im wearing it also. Its very natural. Its not cakey or flaky which many cheap brands of foundation are. I think it seems to cover my pores better than some of the popular high end full coverage foundations I've tried. If I use alittle foundation primer first in the t zone area before applying this the pores disappear completely. I use a foundation brush to apply mine which really helps to blend it. Oh and it also washes off easily at the end of the day! Very important if you do not want to breakout.Overall Im very happy with my purchase and will be repurchasing most likely and discontinuing use of the other foundations I own. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="5183191712971304400-full" data-show="5183191712971304400-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user
"This foundation has the perfect level of coverage and has a moist dewy finish that does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. I use Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer with SPF 30 as my base moisturizer. I do not use loose or pressed powder and the make-up lasts all day! There is only one drawback - and it's very minor.....the pump take a very strong, firm finger to press it down. I would like to see a change in the level of difficulty in pressing the pump. I have to use my thumb to dispense a full measure of the product. :( Other that than, it's great! CRC is an excellent company and ships with speed and the product is packaged with excellence for no leaks or breakage. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user
"I'm so happy the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare was sent to me complimentary to try out and share my opinion. I don't think I would have thought of purchasing this as I'm not too familiar with IT Cosmetics, but Let me tell you! This foundation blew my mind. It's medium coverage, I'm usually a full coverage girl but I don't mind this. I pop on a bit of concealer where I have my blemishes and this foundation is a dream. It applies so well. The forumula is great and blends easily with a brush or beauty blender (I've tried both). It is so lightweight, you easily forget you're even wearing foundation! There's no cakey look even when I build it up a bit. As for the 'better-looking skin' claim, that's one I'd really like to believe and in time I'll be able to determine that for myself. And for sure I will because I'm going to be using this foundation to the last drop and then getting myself a bottle once it's finished. I have oily skin and this worked well. I usually have issues with separation around my nose and upper lip area even with the use of various primers and setting powder but I haven't seen any such problems with this foundation so far. The shade I was sent is Tan Neutral 42 (my complexion is medium complexion but more on the lighter side) and this was a very close match. Perhaps there might be a shade in their line that may match me exactly but this didn't do a bad job when I paired it with my concealer. Overall, really great foundation that I can't seem to find a fault with. Only thing I'm wondering now is if IT Cosmetics has a 'full coverage' foundation. I'd be very interested in that just by how impressed I am with this one! I do like the medium coverage though, it's nice and light for when you want to look put together without too overdone. I certainly recommend this foundation!" - sephora user
"This is my new favorite foundation.About my skin: I have yellow/neutral combination skin with an oily t-zone. I don't have any dry patches, minimal fine lines, and mild rosiness. My skin is not prone to break outs. I like using light foundation to even out my skin tone and reduce the rosy tones in my skin. A natural finish is of utmost importance.I am pretty fair (although not the fairest of the fair) and I use this in 10 Beige. I'm also 10 Beige in Vitalumiere Aqua - the colors match up. This foundation provides light to medium coverage (I like wearing it sheer) and is not drying at all. "Velvet" is a perfect descriptor for the finish. It is not dewy, but not matte and flat either. It does not settle into lines and wears well throughout the day. When it fades, it does so evenly and not in patches. It's nice on its own, but i love wearing Le Blanc de Chanel as a base under it, and I set it on my t-zone with MAC MSF or all over the face with an Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder for a subtle glow.I love this more than Vitalumiere Aqua, which I'm going to relegate to winter use. I'm really looking forward to using this through the summer. If you have similar skin concerns to me, I don't think you'd regret this purchase. « less" - Nordstrom user
"This foundation is incredible. I don't usually like to wear liquid foundation on my face because by the end of the day it feels heavy. It may sound strange but my face feels dirty and I can't wait to wash my face to get it off. Not the case with this foundation! Though I was using a decent liquid mineral foundation from Arbonne, it did not hydrate my skin like the Youngblood foundation does. My skin feels very hydrated and smooth. Although I don't make a habit of it, I have gone to bed a few times without washing my face with this foundation on and I haven't had clogged pores or breakouts. This is the best foundation I have ever used! " - BeautyBridge.com user
"I don't like to use foundation with sunscreen, so I had been using Teint Miracle but it filled every pore and even if I moisturized my face beforehand, it made my skin look dry. I realized that at 52 I need a foundation with a little more moisture. I tried this one and luckily the woman at the counter found my correct color; it makes my skin look stunning. I still need to be careful applying between the eyebrows--skin seems very dry there, but the color is perfect and my skin looks luminous and smooth wearing it. It's more expensive, but it looks really good on my skin. Just wish it didn't contain unnecessary sunscreen." - Macy's user
"I'm 24 and recently I've been struggling with acne and acne marks worse than when I was a teenager, so I went into Ulta ready to spend tons of money on a great foundation. What I found was that almost all of the high-end foundations clung to the small, nearly-invisible dry patches on my face (mostly around spots that were healing). I have oily to combination skin, so this was really a surprise! I had been using Colorstay (Shades 150 or 180 in the "Oily" line) for a while, but the lack of a pump made using it a hassle and a mess! So I decided to try this on a BOGO while repurchasing Colorstay...and I ended up liking this even better. For comparison, it's thinner than Colorstay while giving comparable coverage. The consistency makes it easy to blend all over my face and then go back over problem areas with another layer of foundation to augment coverage; this way, it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask. My skin has definitely been improving and I can leave the house with just a thin layer some days. For reference, I'm a 2.0-3.0 (winter-summer) in UD Naked and I wear 10-30 in this line. I recommend this to everyone I know and even got my mom hooked. A must try! « less" - ulta.com user
"Country Mist is the first makeup I have tried that comes close to E.L.'s Enlighten that was discontinued about 5 yrs ago. It has a light, natural coverage that does not crease or become dry. It will be my luck Country Mist will go next now that I have finally found a foundation that works for me.I have fair skin with a touch of pink undertones, over 55 with no wrinkles. I love the moist, dewy look, leaves my skin feeling good all day.The darker Country Mist color works perfectly. All other Estee Lauder colors are made for yellow or orange tones. Nothing else E.L. has blends with my skin. There are still a few of us who need light neutral colors with a hint of pink, Estee Lauder, please. The fragrance is that of E.L's original EsteDerm moisturizer lotion and cream which I started using at age 17. Of course, that was discontinued in the late 90's.I love the light, elegant fragrance. The price is wonderful for us retired folks. I highly recommend Country Mist Liquid Makeup if you have normal to dry gracefully aging skin. Please do not discontinue Country Mist now that I have finally found it. « less" - Estée Lauder user

"I'm 73 years old, and find the challenges of age-appropriate makeup and makeup techniques challenging, to say the least, so it is with great pleasure I've found the perfect concealer to enhance my under-eye area without having to deal with caking and creasing and drying in this delicate area. I have a light to medium skin tone, and Burberry Cashmere Concealer in Honey has become an integral part of my daily regimen. Application is a pleasure: the cashmere-like tip is a lovely idea, and easy to control. (Upon receiving the product I gave it a few good pumps to start the flow, and now use only one pump to disperse the small amount of product sufficient for both eyes.) FYI, my complete regimen: After moisturizing my face and neck, I begin with an under-eye conditioner (Chanel), letting it dry and soak in for a few minutes, and then use the Cashmere tip to dab a small amount of concealer around and under the whole eye area including the corners of inner and outer eye, patting it in lightly. I follow that with a thin layer of my foundation, Armani Maestro Fusion makeup #5.25, lightly brushing it over my entire face including (carefully) over the concealer and not forgetting to extend a thin film onto my throat and ears and behind and below the ear (so easy to forget this and so obviously off-shade if one forgets to enhance that area too). Then I apply my eye makeup, jazz up my thinning eyebrows and lashes, follow that with a very thin application of powder blush---Dior Mimi Bronze---and pat a very light film of Chanel Light Creator Brightening makeup base (in the pale yellow shade, Mimosa) to the outer corner of my eyes and continue down over just the top of my cheekbones. Adds a lovely subtle sheen, making the whole face look perfectly moisturized and healthy. Then outline the lips lightly and just as lightly apply lipstick (current favs are Armani Ecstacy Tangerine and Burberry Nude Apricot.) Sounds complicated, but easy and such a natural look for mature skin... Less" - Nordstrom user
"I absolutely 😍 this foundation. I have been using it for a few months now and I swear it made my skin feel and look better. It is a pricier foundation, but totally worth every penny in my opinion. You do not need to use a lot of it and one bottle lasted me 3 1/2 months. I recently ran out so I have to wait until Thursday to get a new bottle, so I am using some Channel foundation I had. I used to think Channel was the holy grail of make-up, but the Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv is close to perfect as foundation can get. It does not settle into lines, it stays on all day and you can not feel it on at all. Another plus I noticed on my skin a month after using was how my skin became more radiant looking. I also noticed that fine lines around my eye and mouth area were reduced by at least 50%. Yet, another plus are how my cheeks do not have a bumpy appearance to them, because the foundation does not settle on the skin in a cake-like way. I wear the pebble color and apply it with a moist make-up sponge. I found it is a little less expensive to get it online. Estée Lauder online also has some pretty nice make-up sets you can purchase at a discounted price. I Includes my picture that I took with my phones camera a couple weeks ago. I did not use any filters to enhance my face in any way, just facing the sun. This picture was taken after wearing the foundation for 6 hours on my face with no re-apply. Less" - esteelauder.ch user

"I have tried almost everything from the line. From makeup to skincare I love most of it and whatever I didn't I still liked. The stretch concealer is the only concealer I've used in months. But I was hesitant to buy this because I saw reviews that said it gets oily. As a former oily girl I was nervous, but I've been super dry the last year or so. Makeup normally clings to my dryness & just looks flaky. As soon as I got this I tried it on my hand & it felt like the world's thinest primer. Meaning it felt so smooth, but also so lightweight. I knew I'd like it. Then on my face it was perfect. I'm not one for matte foundation, or even foundation at all. I use a CC cream as my fullest coverage product, so this is ideal for everyday - work, errands, etc. If you're like me and have iffy skin and hate the feeling of makeup so you go without it then look in the mirror at a store & get scared this is perfect for you. It is so lightweight, I forget I'm wearing it. It feels like nothing at all, but it blurs my pores, fades redness, and does NOT cling to any dryness at all. This is also great if you like to have a touch of coverage and maybe brows and head out. So many other products look weird on their own and too mask like. This looks like you're not wearing makeup, rather you skin is just glowing and brighter and more even. It is NOT medium or full coverage by any means, but it is light coverage and semi-buildable (you won't get more than light, but it do a little something). I do still get an oily Tzone, but this doesn't advance that. It lasts looking great with no touch ups for 8+hours on me & I never get that feeling like I need to wash my face right now. It goes perfectly with stretch concealer and cloud paint too. I am obsessed! If any of these things relate to you, you will love this!" - glossier user
"Face Atelier is my favorite cosmetic line on the market. Their Face Finish is a product I really love, especially over my Atelier foundation. I have combination skin. I'm not fond of matte foundation. Since Face Atelier foundation is semi-matte, I spray this Face Finish as it gives me a moist finish. It dries beautifully and leaves a very light glow. Since Southern CA has a dry climate, I like to take a small bottle of the Face Finish with me as a refreshing spray. I love that it does not contain alcohol. I also use this spray while applying makeup to give it a moist base. If you are very oily, this product wouldn't be appropriate. Atelier has a matte spray. I know it's expensive, but worth every penny. I'm on my second bottle. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user

"Now that I'm 47 1/2....I've been seeing more signs of aging lately.... and more and more products are just settling into my pores and wrinkles and emphasizing them. Ugh. Until the past few months, people used to think I was 10 years younger than I was, but recent stress has sped up the aging process for me, so it appears. Anyway, I was about to give up on having great-looking skin ever again until I found this foundation. But WOW, this foundation has virtually turned back the clock and makes my face look 10 years younger (once again, yay!). With this foundation, my face looks MUCH more luminous and healthy, and it does NOT settle into pores or wrinkles. This foundation so far is actually improving my large forehead wrinkle quite a bit. "I am always open to finding the "something better" when it comes to skin care and makeup. I am not a spring chicken anymore, but I still have a lot of enthusiasm and zest for life. I want my makeup to make the best of what I have (or...what I have left :-) )CHANEL's LIFT LUMIERE is that kind of find. I am very picky about what I put on my face, and particularly fussing about foundation, which makes or breaks your overall look. I have very dry skin and aging doesn't improve that! This foundation is marvelous. It is a creamy, lotion formula and it goes on smoothly and covers beautifully. You can apply a thin coat first, then assess the overall look, and apply more where you might need it. For me, it's usually under eyes and along the sides of my nose, which took a lot of sun damage while I grew up on the beach. That sun damage creates little spots of darker color there. Lift Lumiere can be layered and built upon so you can really cover those pesky areas that need more. What I like BEST about LIFT LUMIERE is that it just does not sink into my tiny wrinkles and crevices; It magically blends them down and does not gather into them. Amazing.I highly recommend this foundation: delicious texture, beautiful coverage. « less" - Nordstrom user
"I struggle with foundations for a few reasons. I have very pale skin, very dry skin (I suffer from chronic urticaria, and psoriasis) as well as a bit of peach fuzz.In general, I think it’s got great coverage, and even building it up for more coverage doesn’t feel thick, it’s moisturising (so good for dry skin), it smells amazing, it gives a nice glow (I’m not sure how this would be for oily skin), and it isn’t crumbly or cakey (although my peach fuzz is so fine it’s invisible, drier foundations have made it more obvious in the past, but I have had no issue with this at all).My skin leans towards a slightly more pinkish tone (which I did not know until after ignoring a review stating 51 Light Vanilla was too yellow, thinking it was not relevant to me, and I had to buy another bottle), and 50 Rose Ivory was just as pale but also a perfect pinkish tone. I felt it was difficult to decipher the right shade online, a huge issue for me being so pale, so I hope this helps someone find the right shade! « less" - feelunique.com user

"One of the best foundations Ive tried! It took me a while to review this because I wanted to test this for a couple of weeks before I give it a verdict. However, on first application, I had already fallen in love! The Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation is a liquid foundation with medium coverage, so it works well at concealing most dark spots and acne. Upon application, the product sinks right into my skin, very reflective of its collection name, Synchro Skin, as the product really does feel as if its synchronizing into one with your skin, instead of feeling like an extra layer sitting on top of your skin surface. I like to apply and blend with a brush or my fingers for better blending. I use this along with their concealer (also a part of the same collection), and it looks like I have no foundation on! Its a very light weight product but very good coverage. The finish is smooth and keeps my skin looking hydrated, but not greasy. This is the holy grail of all foundations. I got this in the shade 250 Sand, and the shade match is OK, but I think I couldve went lighter.Next, lets talk SPF. Sun protection is crucial to me I apply sunscreen daily to protect from my skin sun damage, which is a top factor in wrinkles and skin aging. I love how this foundation is infused with SPF 30, so I do not need to apply sunscreen as an extra step to my makeup routine in the morning. It definitely saves me time, and money to use a 2-in-1 product.Price: I understand $47 for a foundation is steep for some consumers, especially those who purchase drugstore cosmetics. However, I think the price is decent, especially for a prestigious brand like Shiseido. Ive spent more on a bottle of foundation before, and quality wasnt as great as this one.Packaging: Anybody else obsessed with packaging? I am a sucker for buying products with pretty packaging. Give me good packaging and Im more willing to purchase than if I see a product with cheap packaging. I love how Shiseido kept the packaging simple but still chic. It gives off a luxury look. I am also grateful for the turn-and-lock technique for the container, so it is pretty much leak-proof if you carry it in your bag. Also, I love the pump for easy access and application, but I wish the pump was bigger.Brand: Shiseido has been one of the longest standing cosmetics brands in the world. Last year, Shiseido relaunched their makeup line. The Japanese brand is well-known for their skin care products, so I knew their makeup line wouldnt be any short of perfection as well. This Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing foundation is part of their new Synchro Skin collection launch. Fun fact: The shade names are all inspired by Ki, which is the Japanese concept of life force energy found in both animate and inanimate objects. Each shade references a material commonly found in nature, architecture, or design throughout Japan.Overall, I cannot recommend a better foundation if youre in the $30+ budget range on a foundation. My friend also purchased this foundation and she could not stop raving about it! And she has tried many luxury foundations like Armani, Givenchy, etc. Less" - shiseido.com user
"My classmate has some bad acne scarring. It's red, it's bumpy, and she finds it embarrassing. She uses this foundation every day and it literally covers it up to the point you don't realize just how much makeup she's wearing or that she has some skin concerns. It makes her skin look smooth and neutralizes the redness.I have some pretty intense acne scarring myself (bunch of bright red post inflammation scarring) that I can't seem to find a good enough foundation to cover.I decided to try this because I usually only use top brands like Tarte, Too Faced, MUFE, etc. but none of them were working. One application of this product, literally only a pea sized amount, and it completely covers all of my scarring!!You HAVE to move quickly with this product or it'll set too quickly and won't blend well. I use my brush and dab the product all over before blending it in.You HAVE to use a primer underneath it (my fav is Dermalogica's redness relief spf primer) preferably a silky one, or it'll sink into your pores/texture and won't look so flawless. You HAVE to set it with a setting spray (my go to is Urban Decay's all nighter spray) because it smooths out the texture more/melts the product into a more natural look, and makes it wear longer. And you HAVE to use as little as possible. When I used too much you could tell because it looked super cakey under my eyes/upper cheeks. This foundation lasted 3 hours before it started to shift and look a little cakey, and it lasted 10 hours before it started to completely separate.I LOVE this stuff but other than the prone-ness to look a little cakey, I find that it makes my sensitive skin a little itchy after initial application. But I am still discovering my skin allergies so it should be ok for other sensitive types.Overall I love this product and every one who is oily, sensitive and has scarring/dark spots to cover should try it! "I gave up trying to find the perfect cream compact foundation after two different brands were discontinued, and went crazy trying every cushion compact until I went into chat here and was told to try this. I was matched to Desert Beige, and also ordered Fresco, and am keeping both. This makeup is longlasting once dry, and leaves the luminous, glowing finish I want without caking, melting into creases or promoting pores. It also has no sunscreen, so there is no irritation to my sensitive, dry skin. I don't know how this will do in the summer, but right now it's perfection, and while I had to replace the sponge with a more pliable one, my only real complaint is that it's liquid rather than a solid cream, but for now I can return all the other stuff I bought and can't use." - Estée Lauder user
"I have acne scars, and huge pores on my cheeks but this really makes me look as though I've perfect, glowing skin. The coverage can be a sheer or as full as needed. And amazingly enough, the need for a concealer for my acne scars is COMPLETELY unnecessary. Seriously: my skin is far from perfection, but this helps me to fake it, and naturally so. Plus, you can still see MY skin, I don't feel as though I've a caked on veil on my face, if anything a sheer wash of radiance. Additionally I've oily skin, so the ultra moisturizing benefits of this foundation are good, but do cause me to have shine, however no more than with any other foundations I've tried in the past. I will try a primer to minimize the problem. Also, although it does the best job I've ever experienced at minimizing the look of pores, they are still not completely concealed, so definitely a primer is a must for this. A sheer powder over it would do well to benefit the overall look of the skin, although if the skin does not suffer too much from shine, I suggest to veto it, as there really is a great dewy look to be benefited from without a finishing powder. It's scentless, and perfect for sensitive skin, I don't break out from this, if anything I feel I'm doing myself and my skin a huge favor. I reckon for girls with dry skin, or normal skin the moisturizing benefits of this foundation are absolutely wonderful. It light, beautiful, natural perfection. I suppose I've just a single complaint, or more really, a regret: as others have stated, the colors do seem to be too yellow. I wear 0n, as its the closest match but I feel the colors could cater more to other undertones. I also bought 1n at the same time to see if it would be preferable for me, but its a tad too dark for now, although definitely much less yellow. I also had to purchase and wait directly from Lancome. I do wish sephora would sell the darker hues, have they forgotten our tan, olive complexions, and the deeper ones? ;) Really, all women should have the benefit of trying this at sephora, as its most convenient, and most catering to our desires for prompt satisfaction for all beauty needs. Don't even hesitate to try this. In all honesty, I HATE wearing makeup. I love it, but hate to wear it. In the past I've always strayed away from and been afraid of the masked look or super unnatural airbrushed look most liquid foundations seem to always have. So instead I leaned towards BE and also Philosophy's airbrushed mineral foundation, and fresh's face luster, hoping to achieve naturally beautiful looking skin. I was severely discontented with the results of all of those, I sought more coverage, more radiance, more freedom in my makeup. This foundation is perfect for me, because it does all of that, and makes me feel as though I haven't any secrets to hide about my skin, only secrets about how I get it to look so beautiful. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-2069030529602826637-full" data-show="-2069030529602826637-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user
"It's been about 9-10 years since i've worn liquid foundation. I'm been stuck on mineral powders. I decided to wear liquid again about 3 months ago and been on the hunt for my HG foundation. I wanted flawless medium/full coverage yet a very natural semi-matte finish. Fyi, I have VERY dry skin. I've been researching about Sheseido and heard great reviews. My SNL uses the SPF Liquid Foundation. So I gave the Dual Balancing and the SPF Liquid foundations a shot. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE both of them. They are both HGs for me. They are thin in formula but gives great coverage and pretty moisturizing. They each have their plus points for me. I wear a I20 in the Dual Balancing and SP60 in the SPF Liquid. Fyi, I'm in between MAC NC25-30. Here's a list of foundations I've tried and the reasons they didn't work out for me. 1. MAC (Mineralize SPF Compact, Studio Tech Compact and Studio Select) - nc30 was too orange and nc25 was too light, accentuates my dry patches, breaks me out, makes my skin itches 2. Nar Sheer Glow - accentuates my dry patches, yellow/olive undertones are a bit strong for my light med pale skin 3. Revlon PhotoReady - It's ok, I just dont like the shimmers 4. MUFE HD - I like this foundation but not for a everyday wear 5. Mary Kay Illumious Wear - Too dewy for me <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-7684894688605727004-full" data-show="-7684894688605727004-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user
A light-to-medium coverage liquid foundation with broad-spectrum SPF 15 sun protection.
A hydrating fluid foundation that delivers just the right amount of coverage to create a naturally flawless, bare-skin effect.
"Okay, it's not a pretty bottle but, I have been using this makeup for YEARS because I love it! I have tried a number of other foundations, including those purchased at department stores, and none compares with this one, Instant Age Rewind. It glides onto my skin beautifully. It leaves my skin looking smooth and much more flawless than it really is. My skin is dry in spots, oily in others, but when I wear this foundation, that all disappears! I also love that it contains sunscreen. I live in Florida, regular sunscreens can melt on my face and look greasy, others dry up and look caked where they settle. This foundation does neither! And you'd think it'd melt out in the hot humid climate, but it does not. This is the BEST foundation ever! Recently, I've been having a hard time finding it in stores :-( If it gets discontinued, that'd be a HUGE MISTAKE. I've always worried that could happen just because the bottle it comes in is not 'pretty'. A lot of women like to purchase products that 'look' fancy. I do too, but it's the product inside the packaging that's really important. There are a lot more positive reviews of this product on other websites, so I have to wonder if Maybelline is really paying attention. MAYBELLINE, pay attention! DO NOT DISCONTINUE this makeup. If sales are a bit more sluggish, keep the product and dress up the packaging!!! I would happily pay a lot more for this product! Less" - maybelline.com user
"I am embarrassed to admit this but I have enough makeup to supply a small country so I can’t believe it took me so long to try Fluid Sheers. BOY am I glad I did. This is an incredible product with a wide range of colors. I find that it infuses my 60 year old skin with a very natural looking glow while not being over the top with sparkles. I don't feel my pores are accentuated, which is important since I have oily skin and therefore, oversized pores. Fluid Sheers can be used for contouring, bronzing or as a blush. (I have not tried mixing with foundation so I cannot comment on that.) For informational purposes, I am a MAC NW30, Armani 5.5, Chanel Biege 40. #11 is amber gold with a slight rosy hue. Just gorgeous! I would say it is almost foolproof to apply and it gives the skin a luminous, bronzed, sun-kissed glow that lasts all day. It imparts a healthy hint of color rather than an actual pink. While #11 is beautiful on it’s own, if I want a pop of color, I add #6 onto the apple of my cheeks and blend it out. #6 is a vibrant coral-red with a golden micro-shimmer. Once it has been sheered out, it turns into a lovely shade of peachy coral. Because this shade is so pigmented and the color so vibrant, I use it as a blush, which I would think would apply to most complexions. It is easy to over apply so I would suggest starting out with the smallest amount and working up to the desired effect. Again, the shimmer is very fine and does not accentuate my pores. This shade also lasted all day (12 hours) on me. I have three of the Fluid Sheers and plan to add to my collection. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user
A weightless, sheer liquid foundation that hydrates skin while providing buildable, natural-looking coverage and sun protection.
"I was pleasantly surprised at how well No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced All in One Foundation covered my blemishes. I have oily acne prone skin and very visible acne scars and use a full coverage foundation. First off I live the slender tip of the tube it helps to control how much product is released allowing the user to build coverage as needed. And the shade Chestnut blended in perfectly and seamlessly, with my deep skin tone. This foundation is a multitasker it has age-defying skincare ingredients from No7 serums, SPF50 and over tome helps your skin look younger and healthier which works perfect in my busy Mom life. I found application quick and easy, it didn't feel like I was wearing a mask and it photographed beautifully. I loved wearing it and it lasted the whole day without it turning into a gloopy mess. I received this product as a free sample my opinons are my own. Less" - us.no7beauty.com user

"It was time for a new foundation. I had been wearing, of late, Loreal Visible Lift which is a great foundation for the price. Before that I had worn Lancome and then Cover Girl Simply Ageless, my favorite of the group. But, I needed something for my dry skin and the these just did not cut it. I was prepared, even on my tight budget, to pay whatever necessary, to get the right, HG foundation for me. I was looking for a product with good anti-aging ingredients, super moisturizing, and mainly a product which would not settle into my wrinkles and had some luminescence to it. it could not be overly matte either because as we know, matte makes older skin look terrible. Had to have a glow to it but not look too shimmery. It had to feel 'right' to me also.I researched and researched. I came home from Sephora armed with samples of highly rated foundations; Hourglass, Makeup Forever, Laura Mercier, etc. I tried all the samples I brought home and one of them seemed almost right, but not quite. I realized I had to have a cream foundation to get the moisturizing I need. I found this foundation. I actually ordered it, guessing at my shade. I chose the warm sun beige. I am light blonde with green eyes and olive medium skin. I was concerned this shade would have orange to it but it did not . It is a wonderful beige shade. It does not look at all like the sample on the site. I am realizing although this shade will work just fine for the 'pale' look, I want a little more color and summer is coming on, so I am ordering a shade or two darker as well. I do wish the EA site would give a description of all their shades (like most on Sephora site), to make it easier to select one. As it is, it does not give a description and you cannot tell some of the light shades from the darker shades. Hope they fix that. I know they say to go into a local store and try it but for some of us, that is difficult to do. ANYWAY, about this foundation...it is so fabulous! I doubt I will ever wear anything else. It meets all my requirements. It looks so great on, like I am not wearing anything at all on my face! it smooths out imperfections, makes pores look smaller, not too matte looking, and has a slight luminescence to it. It has a gorgeous finish. Mostly... it is moisturizing! Terrific for dry skin. You will love this foundation if you have dry skin , especially.Don't forget to order the sponge applicator for this. It is super high quality. It is only 15.00 and worth every penny. Actually, you could use this for any cream or liquid foundation. Love it! « less" - elizabetharden.com user
A must try! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user
"I have the shade Fair Game and it's the best color match I have ever had in any foundation. It's a fresh, slightly dewy, skinlike finish with SPF 30. It also feels very hydrating and doesn't cling to dry spots. That checks all the boxes for me. It's not full coverage but it's perfect for an every day natural look. I use it with and without primer and it looks good both ways. Primer does increase it's longevity. I have other foundations if I want a very done look but I actually often use this even when doing an evening look. It's that pretty. I'm not a selfie girl so not sure about flashback but the few pictures I've seen of myself wearing this have looked fine. I highly recommend it and the price is very reasonable. For reference I have dry, mature skin, fair with a slightly cool neutral undertone. I have tried a ton of foundations and this is one of the few I have actually repurchased. I prefer a more natural look. For reference I also use Makeup Forever Water Blend, Mac Face and Body, Bareminerals Complexion Rescue, Hourglass Illusion Skin Tint, and Armani Luminescence CC Cream. If you are enjoying some of those you will probably like this too. I apply with fingers or a foundation brush. I don't feel the beauty blender is best for this one. Give it a try. « less" - ulta.com user
"I confess I am a foundation 'snob'! I don't like the thoughts of drugstore foundations so I tried the colour match service purely out of curiosity. I was really, really very impressed with the whole process. The gadget matched me to the shade "Warm Ivory". Having chatted about what I wanted from a foundation the lovely consultant recommended Stay Perfect. She cleansed two areas of my face and tried a little on my skin but thought it looked a little 'yellow'. Its always tricky to tell under store lighting and without a full face of product so she generously gave me samples of two other colours "cool vanilla" and "cool ivory" as well which were quite close in shade. I like to 'try before you buy' especially with foundations to check the colour doesn't oxidise and that the texture works with my skin. I went home without great expectation but .........Wow! I went to work next day and a colleague commented how well I looked and another said what great skin I had! Warm Ivory was the best match after all and is possibly the best shade in a foundation I have ever worn! From first application it was literally 'perfect'. I have a pale, freckled complexion and foundation matching is a nightmare with the pigmentation of the freckles. I have an oily T-Zone with 'normal/dry' cheeks and fit into the 'mature' category! I don't want a mask- like finish but like good coverage and longevity. Stay perfect ticks all the boxes. The texture is creamy and weightless. I would say it's a medium coverage but buildable to full. I tried application with both a Real Techniques buffing brush and my fingers but prefer the finish when applied with fingers. You really don't feel you are wearing make-up and it gives a satin finish. It covers imperfections without looking like a mask - it literally looks like my skin but a thousand times better. Stay Perfect is 'transfer resistant' and the only other foundation I can compare it to is Estee Lauder Double Wear, but unlike Double Wear, Stay Perfect looks lovely on a mature skin, it really gives it a 'glow'. The colour didn't oxidize and lasts a good 9 hours. Yes some the oils in my T-Zone come through by the end of the day - but nothing a little powder won't fix. I am a convert to No.7! The colour match service is better than many of the high end brands and the range and shades of foundation are fantastic - not to mention the knowledge and service offered by the lovely No.7 consultant. With my voucher I paid £11! an absolute bargain for such a good product. Amazing! Less" - boots.com user
"I don’t like to wear foundations which make me feel like a plasterer has rendered my face. Apart from By Terry Cover Expert, all my foundations are light-medium coverage. And this, apart from the BT Éclat Opulent, is a perfect, natural-looking foundation on my complexion. I have it in Honey Beige which, if I applied with a brush, would possibly look too dark on me. But I use a Beauty Blender with all my BT foundations and this tends to lighten it.I can wear this foundation all day and, unless it’s searingly hot and my face is sweating buckets, it doesn’t fade, go patchy, wear off or oxidise. It has a lovely consistency - not too thick, and certainly not thin. Think of double cream and you’ve got it.Honey Beige is a good choice for my colouring - dark hair and eyes - and blends almost seamlessly into my complexion. Until I next go abroad, I do have to bring it down my neck unless I’m wearing a polo neck. For some odd reason I have quite dark skin on my upper body which will keep a tan for a long time, but my neck is so white as to be reflective! This is another good reason for using the Beauty Blender - it is very good at graduating colour changes and making them seamless. At my age, I want a radiance foundation, which is what I get with this. It doesn’t sink into my fine lines and form that horrible sludgy trench one can often see with other foundations. My one and only gripe is the immediately recognisable smell of By Terry “wet” products. I dislike it intensely and so wish they’d change it or remove it. Thankfully, it doesn’t linger, especially when the bronzer, contour, blush etc are applied.A truly stunning offering to this “mature” 40-something! Less" - spacenk.com user
"I wanted to try something new because my beloved Tarte bb cream was not cooperating with the dry spots on my face that only come out in the winter. Let me preface this review by saying I am a brand buyer through and through when it comes to foundation - I've tried UD Naked, MUFE, Smashbox, etc etc etc but nothing has ever been exactly "HG" quality for me. Hence why I am always trying something new.I'm so glad I picked up this foundation after reading the reviews. I'd say it has light to medium coverage, which I love, but this morning I woke up with some super red blemishes (due to messing with them the night before) that I was positive I wouldn't be able to cover. Luckily, this foundation is so supremely buildable that I was able to bring it to full(!!) coverage on my problem areas. And yet, hours later, it does not look cakey at all.I apply this foundation with a damp beauty blender which makes everything look flawless. No dry patches, no oil slicks. I will buy this foundation again and again and want to share my positive experience with other prospective buyers!!! SO worth a try for the price point. « less" - ulta.com user
A sheer-to-medium, buildable coverage foundation that creates a soft, candlelit glow on skin - day or night.
"CoverGirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation, Classic Tan and Creamy Beige, 1 fl oz by CoverGirl looks and feels just like Covergirl Clean foundations. Tone Rehab literally melts into the skin and gives a slightly dewey finish. It blends well with other Covergirl foundations. Personally, I use two shades to match my own NC-37 skintone (matched at a department store, but made no purchases); I mix tone rehab shade 160 Classic Tan with 150 Creamy Beige. This forms a shade that's 2 shades lighter than my own skintone. The color darkens or oxidizes to my original skintone after 30 minutes of application because of my oily skin. At times, I'd also apply the two different shades by themselves as a one step method for creating highlights and contours (regular or reverse methods) without having to use more products. Tone rehab also does not splay concealers applied underneath the product (as long as the concealer is set with finishing powder). The foundation's feel on the skin requires the use of a setting/finishing/pressed powder to ensure long wear use. I have never purchased department store foundations. This alone affects my personal judgement on reasonable prices on products. Serious cosmetic enthusiasts will always recommend using department store products by the sheer fact that they truly are made better according to the pricing. However, CoverGirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation will be as high as I'm willing to pay and nothing can beat shelling out $11-$16 for this foundation compared to paying $20-$60 for 1 oz. of product. Despite the inclusion of an anti-aging serum in tone rehab, it can be used by anybody at any age! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user
"I must admit that I've been lurking around the ByTerry counter for a few weeks now before purchasing this, the first time I saw this I balked at the price and scoffed about how no foundation could be worth that price - I now own one, and I've already ordered another tube so that I'll never be without one! Shade 1 disappears on my skin, you can't tell in wearing foundation (unless you saw my blotchy skin and dark circles beforehand!) the finish is matte but not dull it looks like skin a bit of glow but no shine. It feels like skin as well, I'll have left the house and suddenly panic that I haven't put makeup on because there's not that tell tale "made up" feeling on my face. I've never had such nice skin as I have while wearing this. Usage: you need to shake it, the serum separates from the foundation slightly. Apply preferably with a synthetic brush to get a really smooth polished finish, I hardly have to use any moisturiser because of the serum formula - just a dab on parts of my face I know get quite dry. Results: I work in a boiling hot clinic with a mask on all day, I've sweated like crazy tied my mask at least 10 times over it and still it stays put and it still looks perfect. With other foundations I get a bit of separation when I sweat leaving a strange blotchy look - but not with densiliss. Where it really comes into it's own is in photographs, my skin looks airbrushed and glowy - that smooth glowing look of models on the covers of magazines, wow. I wanted this foundation not to live up to the hype and not to be worth the money, but really there's nothing that compares it it - it's heaven in a bottle. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-7949691196040016833-full" data-show="-7949691196040016833-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - spacenk.com user
"I rarely write reviews but I just had to for this product. It is seriously one of the best foundations I've used and it has been the ONLY foundation I've tried that has ACTUALLY stayed on my nose. I've tried lots of high end and drug store foundations and they always cake up on the sides of my nose or start looking splotchy on my nose itself. This foundation looks absolutely flawless on my nose. Sometimes if I feel like wearing a different foundation I still use this foundation for my nose because it truly works! I even brought only this foundation on a vacation with me and wore it everyday for almost a week with no issues whatsoever! I have combination skin with a T-zone that gets semi-oily throughout the day and tend to have some dry patches on my chin and lower cheeks. This foundation lasts for 8 hours on my skin and looks great. I have been using the Too Faced Hangover Rx Replenishing Face Primer and it works beautifully with the foundation. I always set all of my foundations with powder and have been using the Maybelline Fit-Me Loose Finishing Powder or the Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder to set this. I use the shade Natural. I will say, I have noticed when I have it on for 12+ hours it will start to kind of patch up on the exterior of my face but I typically don't have it on for that long anyway so this isn't really an issue. Totally worth a try, especially if you also have issues with foundations not staying put or looking natural on your nose. Can't beat the price either!" - ulta user
"Where do I begin, well I will start with my skin type. I've been extremely oily since I got my first menstrual period, I got big pores on my nose and chin that clog up easily, i.e. acne prone. For most of my life (high school) up to a year ago (now I'm 26), I had been unable to use any form of foundation at all due to this, and not to mention the extremely hot weather of where I have lived all my life (southern Cali) there were some foundations like the Hourglass Foundation for oily skin that I'd tried before, but it did nada for me instead it turned patchi on my skin so I returned it. A Year ago I was introduced to Christian Dior Airflash Foundation, it was recommended to me by Kandee Johnson, she said it was perfect for oily peeps like me, and I was hooked after buying and using it. Problem was that It runs out fast and its super pricey, one day I was looking around for a new eyeliner at Sephora, and I came across this foundation. I was specifically drawn to it cause of the drop bottle, I played with it on my hand and noticed the texture was lightweight almost like that of a airbrush foundation, I had one of the girls give me a sample for it so I can try it at home for a week, she also gave me a sample for a Nars foundation she said was comparible to it, she swore that I would fall in love with the Nars foundation over this one, as they all used it at Sephora. She had no clue wtf she talking about, I need a job there foreal! I can be perfect at figuring out a good foundation for all skin type people. Anyway, I could not believe how good this foundation is, for the first time in my entire life I can use liquid foundation on my face. This stuff doesnt clog my pores, it doesnt break me out, my oily skin doesnt make this foundation melt off, instead it just works with it. I'm telling you girls, if u guys suffer from extremely oily, acne prone skin like me, I urge you guys to try this foundation!!! Thank me later!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user
