Traceless Soft Matte Foundation by Tom Ford

"I’ve been really impressed with this foundation!! I was a bit wary before trying it since it’s listed as being “medium to full coverage,” and I typically don’t like wearing foundation because it feels too heavy on my skin. This foundation goes on really light, but can easily be built up for fuller coverage; it almost feels like a liquid to powder because it goes on matte and isn’t oily on your skin. I love that a little bit goes a long way! Again, I don’t like wearing heavy foundations, so this one is perfect for just using a little bit to even out my skin tone and cover redness. And when it says “traceless” It really means it! Usually if I wear even the littlest bit of foundation or concealer my husband will notice, but I’ve been wearing this stuff for about two weeks now and my husband hasn’t said a thing! The color matches my skin perfectly and it wears beautifully, so even at the end of a hot summer day it isn’t melting off my face. It does pick up the dry skin on my nose, so a face primer might be useful if you have dry skin like me.I also love the twist to open bottle. It’s great that it’s an easy, one step open and close so there’s no risk of spilling and it’s easy to pump out the exact amount you need.I’ve tried lots of foundations, and I’ve always wondered why someone can’t just make a serum-like foundation that dries on the skin and stays in place, and now I’ve discovered that Tom Ford has done it! It’s definitely on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion. You definitely get a quality product for the price! Less" - Sephora user

Renergie Lift Makeup Foundation SPF 20 by Lancôme

"Env: developmentI admit, I am young looking for my age, and normally do not purchase make up or skin care products for "lift" or anti-aging properties. But I left my foundation at home so while visiting my mother I borrowed her **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20. ****Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **is a 1.0 ounce bottle of foundation with sun protection level 20. It is in a heavy glass bottle not easily broken, with a small "pump" similar to those on hand lotions used for dispensing the make up.Priced at approximately $45.00 it may be considered very expensive, but the bottle really does last a long time. The **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **foundation comes in approximately 15 colors to choose from, each of the starting with the title "lifting." It is designed for normal to dry skin.It advertises itself as a having the ability to transform you skin instantly to even younger looking skin. Quote, The innovative Micro-LiftTM technology with Pure Vitamin E immediately smoothes skin resulting in an instant, lines virtually disappear. Skin radiates seamless beauty.***My Viewpoint: ***I have now been using my **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **for several months. I probably would never have purchased this item for myself, but I also wear very little make up, such as some foundation, mascara and lipstick and I am out the door, especially at the price of $45.00. What was truly gratifying to me was after running around Dayton, Ohio all day long, and experiencing a rather stressfull day I stopped by my in laws (for some comfort and wine). My father in law said, "Wow!" Lisa you have always had beautiful skin, but you are absolutely glowing today," My mother in law wondered what I had done to my skin to make it look so smooth, soft and radiant. I actually had to think about it. Then I remembered! Now, to get that kind of reaction, I will definitely spend a lot more money on my foundation. Since a little goes a long way, and my skin looks healthy, why spend almost the same amount over the course of months buying bottle after bottle.**Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **holds up well in the Houston heat.it goes on smooth and creamy and is very easy to remove also. I have used it all summer, and without any other sun protection product I have avoided sun burns and my skin at the end of the day still looks fresh and smooth. Although I have never had a problem with acne, sometimes I would get a break out here and there when switching make up and that did not happen to me with this one.5 Stars from this 40 something mom. I intend to grow old gracefully, but not fight it and if this can make my face look smooth and radiant then I will definitely keep buying it.Env: development Less" - viewpoints.com user

Fresh Air Makeup Base by Estée Lauder

"I think spf in cosmetics causes me to break out and gives me milia so I try to avoid it whenever possible. I decided to try this foundation because it was one of the few I could find without spf. It still has the titanium dioxide which helps to shield the skin but does not have that heavy spf to it which I believe clogs my pores. The color of this foundation is beautiful. The linen beige is actually natural and not orange at all.Estee Lauder knows how to make natural skin tone shades. My skin feels so nice and smooth when Im wearing it also. Its very natural. Its not cakey or flaky which many cheap brands of foundation are. I think it seems to cover my pores better than some of the popular high end full coverage foundations I've tried. If I use alittle foundation primer first in the t zone area before applying this the pores disappear completely. I use a foundation brush to apply mine which really helps to blend it. Oh and it also washes off easily at the end of the day! Very important if you do not want to breakout.Overall Im very happy with my purchase and will be repurchasing most likely and discontinuing use of the other foundations I own. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="5183191712971304400-full" data-show="5183191712971304400-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user

Ultra Foundation Pro by FACE Atelier

"This foundation has the perfect level of coverage and has a moist dewy finish that does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. I use Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer with SPF 30 as my base moisturizer. I do not use loose or pressed powder and the make-up lasts all day! There is only one drawback - and it's very minor.....the pump take a very strong, firm finger to press it down. I would like to see a change in the level of difficulty in pressing the pump. I have to use my thumb to dispense a full measure of the product. :( Other that than, it's great! CRC is an excellent company and ships with speed and the product is packaged with excellence for no leaks or breakage. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user

Liquid Mineral Foundation by youngblood

"This foundation is incredible. I don't usually like to wear liquid foundation on my face because by the end of the day it feels heavy. It may sound strange but my face feels dirty and I can't wait to wash my face to get it off. Not the case with this foundation! Though I was using a decent liquid mineral foundation from Arbonne, it did not hydrate my skin like the Youngblood foundation does. My skin feels very hydrated and smooth. Although I don't make a habit of it, I have gone to bed a few times without washing my face with this foundation on and I haven't had clogged pores or breakouts. This is the best foundation I have ever used! " - BeautyBridge.com user

Absolue Bx Radiant Replenishing Foundation by Lancôme

"I don't like to use foundation with sunscreen, so I had been using Teint Miracle but it filled every pore and even if I moisturized my face beforehand, it made my skin look dry. I realized that at 52 I need a foundation with a little more moisture. I tried this one and luckily the woman at the counter found my correct color; it makes my skin look stunning. I still need to be careful applying between the eyebrows--skin seems very dry there, but the color is perfect and my skin looks luminous and smooth wearing it. It's more expensive, but it looks really good on my skin. Just wish it didn't contain unnecessary sunscreen." - Macy's user

Moisture-Rich Radiance Sunscreen Fluid Makeup by Chanel

"Chanel's Vitalumiere foundation is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a fairly sheer, natural-looking foundation with a hint of dewiness. The formula itself is very thin, which sometimes makes blending tricky, but with a good foundation brush it's a fantastic, very wearable foundation. It doesn't have a strong fragrance to it and it doesn't oxidize on my skin. Although it has a dewy finish, it can be topped with loose powder for a more matte effect, and the powder helps it last longer. I have had issues with the foundation not lasting throughout an entire day. It seems that sometimes it seems to sink into the skin a little too much, and by the end of the day there's little to nothing left of it. If you need moderate to heavy coverage, this is NOT the foundation for you. It may also not be the best for oilier skin types, as it feels very moisturizing and does give the dewy look, but if you have drier skin and like lightweight, natural coverage, this is definitely a good choice. I keep Vitalumiere in my rotation for those "good skin" days when I don't need the mask effect, or for days when my skin feels a bit drier than usual. Especially for winter, it's a great choice! « less" - Fishpond.com.au user

Double Wear Light Stay-In-Place Makeup by Estée Lauder

"This foundation comes in a lightweight squeezy container, which is amazing for portability plus I find it less messy and wasteful than standard foundations. The foundation itself is creamy and not runny at all, but it spreads very evenly onto the face. It applies fabulously with a brush but I prefer to use fingers, as I feel this warms up the foundation a bit to help it blend. I blend out from the middle and it gives a glowy look at first but dries down to a natural, semi-matte finish. The coverage is amazing, it covers blemishes and redness so well - I'd say it covers just as well as the normal Double Wear, but with a different (less matte) finish. Because it's less matte, I find it more flattering on the slightly uneven texture of my skin. It gives an illusion of lovely smooth skin, but doesn't look like you're wearing heavy foundation. This is the best foundation I've found for combination skin, as it doesn't dry out or cause flakiness on the drier parts of my face, but it also controls oil really well on the shinier parts. I work full time and also attend evening classes, so I can personally testify that this lasts over 16 hours (!) on me without a primer or setting powder. I'm really particular about my base makeup looking good as I think it makes a huge difference, and this foundation even seemed to make my blusher last longer. I wore this foundation to my wedding about 18 months ago, and it lasted even in heat exceeding 40 degrees! It also photographed beautifully - even in the un-retouched photos from family and friends, my face looked airbrushed! My skin really isn't that great naturally, so this is a LIFESAVER. I'm a total foundation addict and have tried most of the high end brands, but this wins every time. Thanks Estee Lauder, this is absolutely my favourite product! Please bring out more shades though, like you have done for Double Wear - as a pale warm-toned girl, shade 1.0 is a little too dark and pinky for me in the winter. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="3928115401085027846-full" data-show="3928115401085027846-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user

Country Mist Liquid Makeup Foundation by Estée Lauder

"Country Mist is the first makeup I have tried that comes close to E.L.'s Enlighten that was discontinued about 5 yrs ago. It has a light, natural coverage that does not crease or become dry. It will be my luck Country Mist will go next now that I have finally found a foundation that works for me.I have fair skin with a touch of pink undertones, over 55 with no wrinkles. I love the moist, dewy look, leaves my skin feeling good all day.The darker Country Mist color works perfectly. All other Estee Lauder colors are made for yellow or orange tones. Nothing else E.L. has blends with my skin. There are still a few of us who need light neutral colors with a hint of pink, Estee Lauder, please. The fragrance is that of E.L's original EsteDerm moisturizer lotion and cream which I started using at age 17. Of course, that was discontinued in the late 90's.I love the light, elegant fragrance. The price is wonderful for us retired folks. I highly recommend Country Mist Liquid Makeup if you have normal to dry gracefully aging skin. Please do not discontinue Country Mist now that I have finally found it. « less" - Estée Lauder user

Radiant Fluid Foundation by Cle de Peau Beaute

"I love, love, love this foundation. I wasn't a fan of the concealer, but this foundation is awesome. Pros: -Super natural, life-like skin. I would say the finish is satin and it feels like NOTHING on your skin because of its liquid format. There is no powdery finish to this foundation, nor is it overly luminous to emphasize every texture on your skin. It simply is like skin. I powder my T-zone and my smile lines and I usually get shiny by early afternoon, but that did not happen with this. I looked immaculate still by the evening. -Comes in a pump! Easy to dispense! -No heavy fragrance. There is a slight scent, but you can't smell it too much. This is a big thing for me, because the La Mer foundation was so strong in scent that I hated it. -Comes in a cream format too for those who want more coverage Cons: -The price. I know, I know, I know. It's so "up there" and so ridiculous, but I haven't had a good foundation like this for a long time, even compared to Giorgio Armani or La Mer. This one really is worth it. -Narrow color range. The color selection is poor (where are the darker shades for WOC?) I have NC20 cool-yellow skin tone with olive undertones, and I bought O10. When I applied it to my face, it looked great, but was a little light around my forehead, because I have a naturally more tan forehead (NC25). After about 2 minutes though, it adjusted to my skintone and looked perfect. I know it's odd, but it did. When I looked at my hand where I had put the foundation, it looked pink! It's very odd, but it matches my face, but seems to adjust to every surface it touches. I would recommend everyone to try it out if you have a Nordstrom near you. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

Line Smoothing Liquid Makeup by Almay

"I just love this stuff. Bought on vacation as I needed something. It is very natural looking, does not feel like a foundation, more like a tinted moisturizer but dries with a silky velvet texture. I do not need powder over this to set it; it sets and dries on its own (hate powder) and lasts all day long. I usually use a TM and am finding those to be too thick these days and goopy. This provides just enough coverage to make me feel "done". For those with dry skin that want a light to medium coverage - doubt it will work with oily skin. Only bad thing I can say (and I have tried so many foundations - hated them all), is that the bottle cap is horrible. Wish it came in a tube or pump to keep it sanitary and not spill. This is the "old style" glass packaging for a foundation, and its a "new style" skin finish style foundation so Almay needs to get with the program. Also has a light smell and wish it had no smell but it is not too overpowering. If this continues to work, I will be thrilled as I am now spending $55 on the same amount of foundation (high end stuff) and this is nicer, better overall color, finish, texture, etc. « less" - drugstore.com user

Re-Nutriv Ultra Radiance Makeup SPF 15 by Estée Lauder

"I absolutely 😍 this foundation. I have been using it for a few months now and I swear it made my skin feel and look better. It is a pricier foundation, but totally worth every penny in my opinion. You do not need to use a lot of it and one bottle lasted me 3 1/2 months. I recently ran out so I have to wait until Thursday to get a new bottle, so I am using some Channel foundation I had. I used to think Channel was the holy grail of make-up, but the Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv is close to perfect as foundation can get. It does not settle into lines, it stays on all day and you can not feel it on at all. Another plus I noticed on my skin a month after using was how my skin became more radiant looking. I also noticed that fine lines around my eye and mouth area were reduced by at least 50%. Yet, another plus are how my cheeks do not have a bumpy appearance to them, because the foundation does not settle on the skin in a cake-like way. I wear the pebble color and apply it with a moist make-up sponge. I found it is a little less expensive to get it online. Estée Lauder online also has some pretty nice make-up sets you can purchase at a discounted price. I Includes my picture that I took with my phones camera a couple weeks ago. I did not use any filters to enhance my face in any way, just facing the sun. This picture was taken after wearing the foundation for 6 hours on my face with no re-apply. Less" - esteelauder.ch user

Prevage Anti Aging Foundation by Elizabeth Arden

"I have serious skin problems and usually react to just about everything. This foundation went on like silk, an absolute dream, the texture is lightweight and the coverage was exceptionally good for my redness (as it is buildable). I have dry patches and this just quenched those areas and made me look dewy. I feel radiant and I will not be returning to any other products I have used, this is for me, plus it protects from the suns dangers and has incredible ingredients. I usually use high intensity camouflage make-up such as Dermablend by Vichy and this has knocked it out of the park. I honestly cannot say enough. I have felt some soothing to my face after just one day and cannot wait to see more. Brilliant! I would pay the full price for this, it also out does Yves Saint Laurents famous foundation. Honestly, give it a go! If it doesn't cover first time, build it a little with a blotting technique, you will love it. Less" - very.co.uk user

Ultra Foundation by FACE Atelier

"Face Atelier is my favorite cosmetic line on the market. Their Face Finish is a product I really love, especially over my Atelier foundation. I have combination skin. I'm not fond of matte foundation. Since Face Atelier foundation is semi-matte, I spray this Face Finish as it gives me a moist finish. It dries beautifully and leaves a very light glow. Since Southern CA has a dry climate, I like to take a small bottle of the Face Finish with me as a refreshing spray. I love that it does not contain alcohol. I also use this spray while applying makeup to give it a moist base. If you are very oily, this product wouldn't be appropriate. Atelier has a matte spray. I know it's expensive, but worth every penny. I'm on my second bottle. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user

Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation SPF 20 by Shiseido

"I never write foundation reviews, because I never like one enough. I'm not some die-hard Shiseido fan either; I keep trying different foundations as I'm a cosmetic junkie. And I've tried many, from drugstore to high-end (Armani, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, YSL, etc.) to Japanese & Korean brands. I almost never empty a bottle. Yet, this is currently the first foundation I keep going back to - when I want to look good and healthy. It's not a full coverage foundation, so those with more skin issues/who like full coverage may not find this covers enough. This foundation has a light, watery consistency and dewy finish - almost like you're not wearing makeup. I like natural makeup, so that's what I'm looking for, and 1 push with this pump is almost too much (I feel like I'm wasting the product - but for a normal person it's probably a good amount). I buff it out with a dense brush, like one from Artis or Shiseido, and it doesn't sit in my pores - it looks very smooth. If you want to know how natural it looks: My dermatologist had to ask if I'm wearing any makeup. I use it with Honest Beauty Everything Primer (pore-blurring ones with silica didn't work too well); that seems to work best so far. I tried it with one of the Japanese Shiseido primers, and oddly enough, it didn't seem as compatible. I'm an Asian with not too much yellow undertone, MAC NC20/021 in Dior, and N2 works well. At the end of the day my nose gets slightly shiny, but nothing a sheet of tissue/blotting paper can't fix. I'd take that over dryness any day. My cheeks tend to be on the slightly dry side, so this may not be best fit for oily skin. The only fault I find with this foundation is that it has slight fragrance - it's a known skin irritant, and I could have done without. (It's not too overpowering.) Other than that, if I were having my wedding today, this would be the foundation I'd wear. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

The Etherealist Skin Illuminating Foundation by Kevyn Aucoin

"While this is quite fluid and sheer, it offers excellent coverage. It is not full coverage, but just enough to even out skin tone. You can build layers for more coverage without it appearing too heavy. I was quite satisfied with the results from only 2 pumps warmed on the hand. I added a wee bit more to the under eye area for more coverage under my eyes. While I prefer the coverage of the creamy foundation from Dolce & Gabbana, Kevyn Aucoin feels much lighter on the skin in comparison. I will try adding a second layer on problem areas that need more coverage. I would rather not use the D&B foundation because it is much too heavy for summer, and it tends to crease and appear oily as the hours pass. I do not have oily skin, I have dryer skin, so I was surprised by this.Kevyn Aucoin's foundation did not show any creasing for several hours and it did not seem to dry out the skin. The finish is fresh in appearance. There was slight creasing at the end of the night where it is expected, such as laugh lines and wrinkles around the eye area, but nothing drastic.People with dry to very dry skin need to moisturize well before applying this. I would try to avoid using any product that is overly drying because this product is not moisturizing. I am going to try using this foundation without setting powder next time. I feel the Kat Von D contour kit may have caused some flaking later in the evening. This foundation pairs well with Lancôme MAQUICOMPLET - Complete Coverage Concealer. Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer is a lovely compliment to the finish of this foundation. My teen daughter commented on how great my makeup still looks after being on for so long. She said the foundation seems to be a better match for my skin than the Dolce & Gabbana.I was very surprised with how well the foundation color blended with my own skin. I guessed which number would work for me based on reviews. This product is not available at my local Sephora, so I had to "just go for it" online.I have medium to light skin with pink/neutral undertones. It's hard to say because sometimes I appear more on the yellow side. I always go with something neutral for having both colors in my skin.I purchased this in #5, but I might have needed a #6.Although the #5 still worked quite well, it was slightly lighter compared to my neck and chest skin. I still have some color from summer. As winter approaches, it is likely that will fade. #5 will remain my winter color until I get a proper match at a Sephora makeup counter. « less" - Sephora user

Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation by Clarins

"I purchased this foundation after hearing positive reviews about it, and I must say I'm not disappointed in the slightest. The foundation comes in a glass, pump bottle, it is a little heavy, but don't let that put you off! The pump is great as it is really precise and you can control exactly how much you want dispensed, so no fear of wasting any! The bottle looks very chic and glamorous as well with the gold lid, so no embarrassment when you pull it out of your makeup bag in public! The foundation itself has quite a thin consistency, yet it will still manage to cover imperfections and evens out skin tone to a uniform colour, giving a medium finish. It feels very lightweight on the skin and you don't get the heavy, mask feeling that a lot of foundations give. It has a fresh watermelon scent, which is quite pleasant, but only lasts while you're applying the foundation, it fades within seconds, so no lingering smells if you don't like watermelons! The finish is a cross between dewy and matte, it's a very difficult appearance to describe, but I have combination skin, and it manages to moisturise the dry areas, as well as stopping any oily areas looking shiny. It is oil free, and has pretty good lasting power- after a day's wear it still looks fresh, and when I remove my makeup in the evening after applying it in the morning, there is most definitely foundation coming off on my cotton pad, so I know it has lasted throughout the day and hasn't faded away. Clarins say it replicates real skin and this is a high claim, but I think it does a fair job. As long as you blend well, the foundation sinks into your skin without any obvious traces that you're wearing it. All in all, a really fantastic foundation, provides natural, medium coverage, and not only that, but several people have commented on how lovely my skin looks. I can 100% see myself repurchasing his when my current bottle runs out. Am I impressed? YES! A foundation which really does what it says it will! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="255065517289182435-full" data-show="255065517289182435-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Escentual user

True Radiance Foundation SPF 15 by Clarins

"As a forty-something with slightly dry skin I usually avoid foundation as I've always thought it makes me look older and wrinklier than I am without it! My skin is becoming a little uneven and duller as I am dragged screaming into my forties and a Clarins Consultant recommended I try this new product. The colour match was absolutely perfect and the makeup instantly evens out and perks up my complexion. I am left with a lovely, dewy glow which lasts all day and it also provides additional moisturising without it sliding around my face. It provides quite light coverage and looks natural which I really like. It makes my skin look better without looking heavily made up and it doesn't sit in creases. I never thought I'd rate a foundation having hated every one I've tried prior to this but I have to say I'm definitely a fan. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="3207804311465574760-full" data-show="3207804311465574760-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Debenhams user

Lift Lumiere Firming And Smoothing Sunscreen Fluid by Chanel

"I am always open to finding the "something better" when it comes to skin care and makeup. I am not a spring chicken anymore, but I still have a lot of enthusiasm and zest for life. I want my makeup to make the best of what I have (or...what I have left :-) )CHANEL's LIFT LUMIERE is that kind of find. I am very picky about what I put on my face, and particularly fussing about foundation, which makes or breaks your overall look. I have very dry skin and aging doesn't improve that! This foundation is marvelous. It is a creamy, lotion formula and it goes on smoothly and covers beautifully. You can apply a thin coat first, then assess the overall look, and apply more where you might need it. For me, it's usually under eyes and along the sides of my nose, which took a lot of sun damage while I grew up on the beach. That sun damage creates little spots of darker color there. Lift Lumiere can be layered and built upon so you can really cover those pesky areas that need more. What I like BEST about LIFT LUMIERE is that it just does not sink into my tiny wrinkles and crevices; It magically blends them down and does not gather into them. Amazing.I highly recommend this foundation: delicious texture, beautiful coverage. « less" - Nordstrom user

Healthy Mix Foundation by Bourjois

"I struggle with foundations for a few reasons. I have very pale skin, very dry skin (I suffer from chronic urticaria, and psoriasis) as well as a bit of peach fuzz.In general, I think it’s got great coverage, and even building it up for more coverage doesn’t feel thick, it’s moisturising (so good for dry skin), it smells amazing, it gives a nice glow (I’m not sure how this would be for oily skin), and it isn’t crumbly or cakey (although my peach fuzz is so fine it’s invisible, drier foundations have made it more obvious in the past, but I have had no issue with this at all).My skin leans towards a slightly more pinkish tone (which I did not know until after ignoring a review stating 51 Light Vanilla was too yellow, thinking it was not relevant to me, and I had to buy another bottle), and 50 Rose Ivory was just as pale but also a perfect pinkish tone. I felt it was difficult to decipher the right shade online, a huge issue for me being so pale, so I hope this helps someone find the right shade! « less" - feelunique.com user

Teint Miracle Bare Skin Foundation by Lancôme

"I have acne scars, and huge pores on my cheeks but this really makes me look as though I've perfect, glowing skin. The coverage can be a sheer or as full as needed. And amazingly enough, the need for a concealer for my acne scars is COMPLETELY unnecessary. Seriously: my skin is far from perfection, but this helps me to fake it, and naturally so. Plus, you can still see MY skin, I don't feel as though I've a caked on veil on my face, if anything a sheer wash of radiance. Additionally I've oily skin, so the ultra moisturizing benefits of this foundation are good, but do cause me to have shine, however no more than with any other foundations I've tried in the past. I will try a primer to minimize the problem. Also, although it does the best job I've ever experienced at minimizing the look of pores, they are still not completely concealed, so definitely a primer is a must for this. A sheer powder over it would do well to benefit the overall look of the skin, although if the skin does not suffer too much from shine, I suggest to veto it, as there really is a great dewy look to be benefited from without a finishing powder. It's scentless, and perfect for sensitive skin, I don't break out from this, if anything I feel I'm doing myself and my skin a huge favor. I reckon for girls with dry skin, or normal skin the moisturizing benefits of this foundation are absolutely wonderful. It light, beautiful, natural perfection. I suppose I've just a single complaint, or more really, a regret: as others have stated, the colors do seem to be too yellow. I wear 0n, as its the closest match but I feel the colors could cater more to other undertones. I also bought 1n at the same time to see if it would be preferable for me, but its a tad too dark for now, although definitely much less yellow. I also had to purchase and wait directly from Lancome. I do wish sephora would sell the darker hues, have they forgotten our tan, olive complexions, and the deeper ones? ;) Really, all women should have the benefit of trying this at sephora, as its most convenient, and most catering to our desires for prompt satisfaction for all beauty needs. Don't even hesitate to try this. In all honesty, I HATE wearing makeup. I love it, but hate to wear it. In the past I've always strayed away from and been afraid of the masked look or super unnatural airbrushed look most liquid foundations seem to always have. So instead I leaned towards BE and also Philosophy's airbrushed mineral foundation, and fresh's face luster, hoping to achieve naturally beautiful looking skin. I was severely discontented with the results of all of those, I sought more coverage, more radiance, more freedom in my makeup. This foundation is perfect for me, because it does all of that, and makes me feel as though I haven't any secrets to hide about my skin, only secrets about how I get it to look so beautiful. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-2069030529602826637-full" data-show="-2069030529602826637-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation by Shiseido

"It's been about 9-10 years since i've worn liquid foundation. I'm been stuck on mineral powders. I decided to wear liquid again about 3 months ago and been on the hunt for my HG foundation. I wanted flawless medium/full coverage yet a very natural semi-matte finish. Fyi, I have VERY dry skin. I've been researching about Sheseido and heard great reviews. My SNL uses the SPF Liquid Foundation. So I gave the Dual Balancing and the SPF Liquid foundations a shot. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE both of them. They are both HGs for me. They are thin in formula but gives great coverage and pretty moisturizing. They each have their plus points for me. I wear a I20 in the Dual Balancing and SP60 in the SPF Liquid. Fyi, I'm in between MAC NC25-30. Here's a list of foundations I've tried and the reasons they didn't work out for me. 1. MAC (Mineralize SPF Compact, Studio Tech Compact and Studio Select) - nc30 was too orange and nc25 was too light, accentuates my dry patches, breaks me out, makes my skin itches 2. Nar Sheer Glow - accentuates my dry patches, yellow/olive undertones are a bit strong for my light med pale skin 3. Revlon PhotoReady - It's ok, I just dont like the shimmers 4. MUFE HD - I like this foundation but not for a everyday wear 5. Mary Kay Illumious Wear - Too dewy for me <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-7684894688605727004-full" data-show="-7684894688605727004-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum by philosophy

"I randomly tried this because when I swatched it on my hand the coverage was great and so was the color match! I am super porcelain pale and I like a neutral foundation. Most are too pink or too yellow but this is completely neutral on me. I wear shade 3. I have redness, hyper pigmentation & acne scars but this covers really well without looking super heavy or cakey. I use a regular foundation brush and a little goes a long way. It smells so wonderful & feels a bit cooling and soothing on the skin. It dries semi matte with a soft to touch finish. Also since it's winter I have been having horrible dryness around my chin and mouth plus my acne routine dries my skin out even more. I love that this foundation does not accentuate the dry patches or irritate my already existing acne issue. I believe this actually helps your skin while wearing it versus most foundations just cover & offer no benefit to your skin at all. This is amazing I hope it never gets discontinued! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation SPF 20 - PA+++ by Givenchy

"I got a sample of this product in the store couple days ago after reading amazing reviews about it. I have sampled nearly 15 foundations in the past 2 months or so and was about to settle for one that I was just okay with- Thought I'd give this one a try and got a sample, not expecting much (for reference, other foundations that have gotten amazing reviews have disappointed me in the past like MUFE) Today I wore the foundation out and went to the sephora store and asked the SA for recommendations on foundation The SA looked at me and said "I dont think you need much coverage since you have AMAZING skin" I told her that I was wearing foundation and she did a triple take like "WHAT? it looks like you have great skin and nothing on!" she asked me which foundation I was wearing and said that I should continue to wear what I was wearing! I was not wearing any primer or powder, just this foundation and it really had this very pretty, natural, smooth finish And it lasted a long time- It was still on in mint condition after I've been to the gym! I think my search for the perfect foundation is over now- I'm definitely sold on this one. Seriously, I haven't seen foundation look like this on my skin ever- Definitely HG worthy, AMAZING, long wearing foundation, with buildable coverage You can pile on layers and it will not look thick or cakey - AMAZING! FYI for reference: I have dry, pretty fair skin with some redness around the cheeks I'm usually the lightest or the second lightest shade for most foundations / tinted moisturizers / BB / CC and like to wear yellower foundation to cover the redness and about a half shade brighter. In other brands I am Stila fair, MUFE 117, Lancome Buff 2, NARS Gobi For Givenchy, the #4 beige was definitely too too dark on me #2 has a pink undertone and may accentuate my redness so I think I will be going with #1 (brighter shade) or #3 (probably exactly my skin tone if not slightly darker) <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Protect & Perfect Advanced All In One Foundation by no7

"I was pleasantly surprised at how well No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced All in One Foundation covered my blemishes. I have oily acne prone skin and very visible acne scars and use a full coverage foundation. First off I live the slender tip of the tube it helps to control how much product is released allowing the user to build coverage as needed. And the shade Chestnut blended in perfectly and seamlessly, with my deep skin tone. This foundation is a multitasker it has age-defying skincare ingredients from No7 serums, SPF50 and over tome helps your skin look younger and healthier which works perfect in my busy Mom life. I found application quick and easy, it didn't feel like I was wearing a mask and it photographed beautifully. I loved wearing it and it lasted the whole day without it turning into a gloopy mess. I received this product as a free sample my opinons are my own. Less" - us.no7beauty.com user

Clear Complexion Liquid Makeup by Almay

"This foundation has been my favoite for years. The only thing I hated about it was that the lightest shade ivory was quite too dark for me. It seriously has always lasted all day, never emphasized pores or dryness, even tends to look better as the day went on... I recently picked it up once more after trying out different things to try and find something that would fit my pale skin better, but had to come back because I just can't find anything as long lasting and beautiful as this. So I grabbed the lightest shade- per usual, and then later on when I dispenced it I noticed that it looked lighter than before, so I checked the shade and discovered they had made a new, lighter shade!!!!!!! Couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!!! It almost fits my skin in the light and doesn't leave as obvious a line on my neck and still preforms as well, in fact, they reformulated this and I feel like it's even better.... now it has 2% sa instead of .05%. It also looks glowy-er in my opinion. I had contacted the company several times in the past requesting and pleading that they make a lighter shade of this and I and thrilled they actually listened. Sometimes the lightest shade of foundation somehow doesn't preform the same as the other shades (who knows why?), but this one is perfect. I'll probably use this every day now! I'll no longer need to mix foundations! I hope they make an even lighter one in the future, as this isn't a perfect match but its SO much better. Thank you so much for listening to your customers! Pale girls need to match their neck!" - walgreens user

Traceless Perfecting Foundation SPF 15 by Tom Ford

"I was skeptical of this foundation because I don't usually prefer a matte base, but being a huge fan of Tom Ford's other two foundations I felt I needed to give it chance...I am so glad I did! This foundation applies very easily and blends effortlessly, it does not settle into my (many) fine lines or wrinkles, and it is extremely lightweight. I seriously cannot feel it on my skin whatsoever. The lasting power is phenomenal and it withstands humidity and sweat exceptionally well. I also noticed my skin feeling better overall after wearing it for a full day and then removing. It doesn't not dry my skin out as the day progresses like most other long wearing foundations, in fact, the finish becomes softer as the hours pass and it feels exceptional rather than harsh. It does have it's downsides: It is marketed as medium to full coverage but I found I could only get medium coverage at best which is ok for me but I know some people were hoping for fuller coverage. It is scented with a cucumbery scent that isn't the most pleasant but it does dissipate after a few minutes. I also found the matte finish to be a bit unforgiving on my dry skin (the finish was a bit dull) but that was quickly remedied by mixing in a pump of Tom Ford Illuminating Foundation Primer. Lastly, while I known this base is infused with some wonderfully nourishing ingredients, it's not the most moisturizing formula so if you have dry skin you'll need to moisturize amply before application. With my skin being dry/aging, I found that applying over a thin layer of face oil (I use Fresh Seaberry Oil) and mixing with the primer I mentioned above8 make this foundation work better for me. For women/men with normal to combo to oily skin, those prep steps probably won't be necessary. Personally I find the bit of extra work very much worth it and am thrilled to have another lovely base from the Tom Ford line!PLEASE NOTE: The shades in this formula are NOT consistent with the shades in the original Traceless and Traceless Stick formulas so you may very well be a different shade than in the previous installments. If possible, get to a counter to be matched or call your Tom Ford Sales Associate for a shade recommendation. « less" - saksfifthavenue.com user

BIY Blend It Yourself Pigment Drops by Clinique

"I am not a product junky or tester or tryer. I have been using Clinique for 26 years and never stray. I absolutely love this product! Clinique used to make a product called almost makeup which was really a tinted lotion with SPF and I wore it for years. They discontinued the product a while ago but never replaced it with a similar light weight makeup product. I am sworn to Clinique but I had to go outside of the brand to find another lightweight product. This was introduced just a while ago and the Cosmetician gave me a sample to try. I was in love with it before i even put it on my face. I mixed two drops with dramatically different lotion (which I have used for at least two+ decades) and blended it in the palm of my hand and applied just as I would lotion. No technique whatsoever, no contouring, no dabbing, no method. My skin felt smooth with lotion, looked even and dewey with foundation, but felt like nothing was even on my face. A great product for those of you that want to show your face but don't want to wear a face. « less" - Macy's user

Skin Veil Foundation Bottle by Ellis Faas

"This foundation is amazingggggg. I have tried every foundation out there, literally, from cheaper to high end.I have combination skin so my t zone can get slightly oily but my main concern is dryness and it didn't matter what foundation I tried, liquid, mineral, cream it would show up my dry patches. This year I discovered Ellis Faas Skin Veil. I went into Mecca and asked for their most moisturising foundation. They showed me a few including Ellis Faas. This foundation is truly beautiful, it is in its own league compared to other brands. It's moisturising, and quite thick when you pump it out, I just use my fingers to apply and it gives the most luminous natural looking glow, it looks like your own skin, even with a fuller coverage applied it still looks like your skin - amazing! I have freckles and like to show them, I like my skin to look natural like I'm not wearing anything - this foundation is perfect for that, however you can easily build on the coverage and it covers more but still in a natural flawless way. This doesn't show my dryness, it can be a little shiny through my t zone but I powder that which works fine and I've played around with my skin care and primers to find ones that work well this my foundation and help my combination skin.I'm quite fair with freckles so if I did a correct shade match I would probably be around shade S102L, however I tan all year round. Through the summer I can wear S104L, it's a medium shade with yellow golden undertones. Even though it's a lot darker than my natural skin colour it blends well with my tan and ppl never know its a lot darker than I naturally am, it's very natural and blends so well on the skin a fairer person that tans can easily get away with using it.Be aware the S104L definitely does have that strong yellow undertone. The S103L is what I will use in the winter and probably in the summer too sometimes. I naturally have pink undertones in my skin so while I can get away with the S104L it's the opposite undertone to my natural skin. The S103L is a similar shade level to 104, just slightly lighter but has the more neutral undertones, if anything it leans more to the pinky undertones but not to much. I still tan in winter, not as dark as summer but I have a tan all the time and the 103 still blends well with this and isn't to light.I would recommend this foundation to anyone, except perhaps people with really oily skin, but even then it's that beautiful it's worth trying with a good primer and skin care. Yes it's pricey but like I said I've never come across a foundation quite like this one, it really is in a league of its own. I will purchase this from Mecca forever. I love it. « less" - mecca.com.au user

Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation by vichy

"I picked this foundation up on a total whim, but its definitely not a regret! This foundation just smooths out your whole face making imperfections disappear as it goes. It is very full coverage and I believe is actually designed for those who have birthmarks on their face to cover them. Despite being so full coverage, it is surprisingly not a heavy foundation, and I feel totally comfortable whilst wearing it. It doesn't cling to dry patches, plus keeps my oil at bay which alot of foundations can struggle with. Although I do not use it everyday (I prefer a more natural coverage for day time) for nights out or bad skin days it is perfect as it literally leave a blank canvas for you to apply the rest of your makeup. If you love full coverage then this is the foundation for you! " - Escentual user

Meteorites Baby Glow Sheer Liquid Foundation by Guerlain

"I received a sample of this product in 3 medium. I can't say enough good things about it without having a book review for you to read! My only negative I found is the color names and options can be off a bit. The 3 medium I found is really light. If you're pale skinned this is a perfect color for you, if you at tan this works great as a brightener under your eyes, forehead, chin etc, or you can use it all over face and neck then follow up with bronzer and contour to warm up the face. The smell is beautiful! I don't typically like fragrance in my facial makeupmakeup, however this one I actually love. Once it dries it no longer smells. I have combination skin, oily in my t zone, especially on my nose and cheeks. I'm in my mid 30's, but have deep forehead wrinkles, and slight crows feet. After 10 hours the only problem I had was it broke up and creases on the corners of my nose. But afterafter wearing it that long I couldn'tcouldn't complain. All I did was dab my ring finger over the area a few times and it fixed it. This product didn't settle into my deep lines on my forehead which totally won me over on this product as everything else I've tried by other brands does before I'm even finished my makeup application. I did set this with urban decay deslick powder and used all nighter setting spray by urban decay with this, but I could have went without i believe and still had similar results! I love this product and most all of Guerlain products. If your going to spend a few extra products, this is the brand to go for!!!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-8068634733153945242-full" data-show="-8068634733153945242-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup by Clinique

"I was using a very popular loose powder mineral foundation for quite a few years but I was having trouble with breakouts, I switched to their acne foundation & it was ok at 1st but after awhile I was completely unhappy with it for many reasons (had more breakouts, wasn't long lasting, coverage was no good etc) The very 1st time using Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup I was thrilled for many reasons; it was very easy to apply, a little goes a long way, it has a build-able coverage, it blends so nicely, its smooth, doesn't settle into any lines and at the end of my work day I still had a full face of makeup! It looked like I just put it on....couldn't tell I had a 10 hour work day! I have been using Cliniques Acne Solution 3 Step System for quite awhile now but the other brand of makeup I was using was not doing any favors for my skin but after switching to this & still using the 3 Step System my skin had cleared up almost completely in just 6 days! I saw a big difference when waking up the day after I used it the first time. I couldn't believe how much my better my face looked! I can't wait to try the BB cream from this line! I WILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER FOUNDATION AGAIN! « less" - clinique.com user

Eclat Matissime Fluid Foundation Airy-Light Mat Radiance SPF 20 - PA+++ by Givenchy

"I loved my first bottle of Givenchy Photo Perfexion, but I felt like it was not very long lasting and frankly too moisturizing for my oily skin. When I was almost done with the bottle, I didn't feel like using it for the S/S season. So I got a bunch of samples - among them were Chanel, Clinique -- and all of them 1) broke my skin out terribly, 2) gave me acnes and 3) felt extremely heavy. After frustrating trials, I decided to stick with Photo Perfexion. Then I found out about eclat Mattissime. I read online reviews and went to Sephora. A sales associate told me that it is relatively new product, and is for oily skin. I've used it for three days... and I believe I found my dream foundation. Pros 1) Despite the perfume (I like the scent), it does not irritate the skin at all. My skin actually looks smoother and more radiant when I use this. 2) It has a better consistency than Photo Perfexion. It covers my pores smoothly - while Photo Perfexion had a tendency to settle into my pores. It does dry quickly so you gotta work on putting it on fast. 3) This is not a cakey or chalky matte. My face would give a glow and matte kind of sheer shine (hard to describe). I think it is the work of all the microbeads. 4) Oil control on this is phenomenal. Since I am a really greasy (not even oily, greasy!) person, oil still kinda shows. But the makeup stays. Oil is not concentrated on my t-zone, but is more spread out.... You might laugh that I say the shine gets spread out, but it is far better than having spotty shiny spots right on your forehead or around nose. 5) I don't like feeling makeup on my face. It was another reason why I loved Photo Perfexion... Both Givench products are so light on your skin - Eclat Matissime is more matte and consistent. 6) Stays all day. Just make sure you put on two layers. I haven't used it with primer, but I am sure it will work well. Cons 1) Just like everyone else... What's wrong with the packaging?! Why can't I control the amount of disposal? Also, foundation gets everywhere around the lid. 2) I need two layers of this foundation to achieve desired effect since the formula is pretty thin. I think I will use this up pretty fast... It's a pretty pricey foundation so I don't like having to use two pumps every time. This product still gets a 5... because, heck, I would pay anything to make myself this great every day. Buying this is worth trading for a couple dinner outs or extra clothing. Also, if you have a semi-decent skin like me that has some redness/spots, I am telling you... you don't need to cover up all of your imperfections completely. You just need to cover enough for them to not stand out. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

The Sensual Skin Fluid Foundation by Kevyn Aucoin

"With the release of all the new lightweight/long wearing bases this Fall, I had tried almost every one and failed because of my skin type. That being said, since I received Kevyn Aucoin's Sensual Skin Fluid, I have eagerly used it every single day. My skin is aging and on the dry side with quite a few fine lines around my eye area and unevenness from sun damage. The first thing I want to stress is: if you have dry skin, you will have to have a good solid moisturizing routine for this foundation to perform optimally. It is not drying at all, but it's also not hydrating/moisturizing either. The consistency is very runny but the coverage is super versatile! I can sheer it down to light coverage but easily build it up to almost full coverage where needed and it blends seamlessly. It glides over the skin like silk and applies effortlessly with a brush or fingers (my brush of choice for this base is Chikuhodo G-10).The finish is matte, but not a flat unflattering matte...it's more like my skin without "the glare". When it first dries down, it looks very matte, but within a few minutes the finish softens to a very soft matte or demi-matte. I get a good 6-8 hours of wear and it does not accentuate my fine lines. It does not sink into my pores, but rather it smooths over them making them look far less noticeable but not so I look masky or "made up".My biggest accolade for this foundation is that after 2 weeks of consistent wear, my skin is markedly softer to the touch and I am not starting to notice a slight visual difference as well. I've never had a foundation that boasts skincare claims actually make a difference in my skin like this one has...it's really blown my mind and exceeded my expectations!! I think this will work beautifully on normal and normal to oily skin types also.I am a mostly neutral NC23 with a ton of warm freckles yet a lot of surface redness. I wear shade SF07. It's a light to medium shade that leans quite peach. When I first saw it I said NO WAY, but the SA insisted I try it and she was right on the money. Within minutes it adapted to my skin tone perfectly and is one of the best matches I own. The foundation is housed in a frosted glass bottle with a dropper housed in the screw-on lid. The dropper is surprisingly not messy at all and allows you to dispense the amount desired without waste.Bottom line: it's a gorgeous, versatile, matte foundation that delivers on it's promises of skincare benefits and I couldn't be more pleased! My only complaint is that it comes in a 20ml bottle instead of the traditional 30ml.P.S. It mixes beautifully with Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Skin Liquid in Candlelight...it softens the finish and gives a lit from within glow that is absolutely stunning! « less" - SPACE.NK user

Smoothers All Day Hydrating Foundation by Covergirl

"I usually hate Covergirl foundations, but this foundation keeps my dry skin decently hydrated through the day and does not budge. Usually this foundation is more of a natural everyday school or work look for me, It doesn't have a full enough coverage to be a night out foundation, but I still love how it sets." - walgreens user

Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation by Max Factor

"This is the quickest foundation application I have ever used and I find it so easy to put it on in the morning when in rush.It has a SPF 30 too so will be good for year round use.It is very moisturising with hyluronic acid but not too greasy. For me its all in one step,I apply primer first then I use this foundation. As It is a medium to full coverage foundation,I layer it on and then add a little extra under my eyes for dark circles and on acne marks so doesnt need to use concealer seprately and it gives a moisturising matt finish when dries ,so no need to set with a powder after that. For me this little compact has all (moisturiser +sunscreen + foundation + concealer + powder ).It is really compact so its easy to fit in ur handbag.A very travel friendly product but do note that there is no mirror included.Overall I'm exceptionally happy with this product. It gives me the coverage that I need and I don't need to use much either.I normally apply foundation with my fingers and then gives a finishing touch with the sponge.I find that product blend really well with the heat of your fingers and then you can dab it with the sponge .It gives you smooth and healthy finish.I would definatly recommend this to everyone. « less" - maxfactor.com user

Intervene Makeup SPF 15 by Elizabeth Arden

"I've been hunting for the perfect foundation for years now I'm 35 and still prone to getting a few spots most foundations I have tried are too thick and cakey I don't like the way they feel on my face and they can look like a mask. I heard about this one after reading online reviews I was a bit nervous I've wasted lots of money on different foundations over the years and have been let down time and time again but I thought I'd give it a go. When it arrived I feel in love with it the bottle looks lovely, its smooth and light in texture, it is easy to apply, its not at all cakey or thick, its easy to build up to cover problem areas, the colour is very natural and flattering, it lasts all day ,I'm over the moon with it I will defiantly be buying this again " - very.co.uk user

Instant Radiant Light Perfecting Duo by BECCA

"I have incredibly dry skin, especially since it is currently winter and I have used nothing but this primer since it came out. This makes my skin have a healthy lit from within glow that doesn't look fake, or shimmery. It just makes it look healthy and hydrated. I also find that that healthy appearance it gives skin glows through when you put foundation over it. It also seems to make your foundation spread more and go on smoother, so although the primer is a bit pricey you save more foundation so it seems to even that out. I find that this makes your foundation look more skin like and really enhances the wear time. I am not sure if something this hydrating would be good for oily or combo skin but for dry skin it is a god send! Highly recommend!" - Sephora user

Wake Me Up Foundation by Rimmel

"This foundation is great, it really does last well and makes my skin looks nice and smooth. It gives medium to full coverage depending how much you use. I love that it has a pump on it because it makes it hygienic and easy to get out what you need without being wasteful-I find a couple of pumps is enough for the coverage I want. I would recommend this foundation if you're looking for a product that's light to medium coverage. It covers up small blemishes and redness quite well. The shades are fairly neutral and I don't find it to lean particularly pink or yellow toned. It gives a brightened finish but doesn't make me look oily. I apply it with a foundation brush and it lasts for the whole day, especially with a primer used . I was using it noW for about 2 weeks since I receive it and I will buy it in the future as it suits me good. If you want a full coverage/are looking to cover acne etc I would not recommend it, but for everyday makeup it's perfect. Love it. #WakeMeUpFoundation « less" - rimmellondon.com user

Leg And Body Makeup by dermablend

"I used this because my mom says they changed the colors on her and when she ordered her usual shade it came MUCH lighter. More my color. I'm mixed my mom is not. That's a pretty big shade difference. That being the case she gave it to me because where she purchased from would not allow returns even though it was clearly the wrong shade she didn't even have to open it! I am so thankful I got to try it for free. I love it and would have never tried it otherwise!!! There's so many makeup brand options you can spend a lifetime trying different products and go broke in the process. With this product I have found one should use VERY LITTLE and build from there. You MUST BLOT not rub or you will look ridiculous! It doesn't go on like normal foundation or concealer. Blot blot blot and when I say a small amount I mean a super small amount. Imagine slicing a pea (not in half because that's still too much!) I mean slicing like you do a tomato EXCEPT A PEA! That's all you need for your under eye and I use a beauty blender to spread. Keep building using that small amount. I am mixed but on the lighter side at the moment. When summer gets in to full swing I'll get darker. But for now, Caramel was the shade my mom bought that I got. I think my perfect shade may be the next shade darker, so I can mix as I change color with the seasons. Im not a fan of heavy concealer or foundation so I don't know how good it looks for all over or heavy coverage. For light application to cover very dark circles that look like I got punched in the eyes........it's fantastic. Overall I'm super happy and am purchasing the next shade darker right now! If your application will be the same as mine I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. A little goes such a long way. My mom gets a refill on this once every 12-14 MONTHS. That makes it a great value too. WIN WIN. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Your Perfect Naturally Pretty Glow Collection by IT Cosmetics

"I love this bronzer!!! I'm not understanding some of the bad reviews. A lot of reviewers are stating its "too dark" to wear on its own. Well it's a cream bronzer from their CC+ collection not a foundation. it only comes in one shade as well. I don't have a dark completion yet as spring just started but even then I'd NEVER take a universal shade bronzer and use it as my foundation. Odds are it's going to be way too dark. This is a product you can mix with foundation, "it goes extremely well with the IT CC+ Cream" or put it on for a natural subtle contour if blended very well. I use a slightly damp sponge and it's amazing. the shimmer I found was beautiful "once again if added with foundation, or blended for contour". It gives a gorgeous bronzed dewy glow perfect for summer. I understand not everyone likes that and it should've said that in the description. Please ladies if you're not very dark don't grab a universal bronzer rub it all over your face "like a foundation that would match your skin color" and then write a bad review because it was "too dark". That's not fair to IT cosmetics or Ulta. IT cosmetics has came out with a beautiful dewy product that can be used in so many ways. I'm happy to see a liquid bronzer that gives me a glow. That said if you want a similar product without the shimmer benefit has a gorgeous matte hoola liquid bronzer now. It has dew in the name (idk why) but it is completely matte. I understand some not liking the shimmer. It's not for everyone. The description for this product is poor. It's a description for a sunscreen which is nice but says nothing else about the product. Also to anyone who got confused on the directions it says to apply it every two hours because of the SPF. It doesn't work the same after a while. That's any sunscreen. So that's why they say reapply it. The color will last all day though, but the SPF will stop working. You can find some nice SPF sprays to go over makeup that won't ruin your look. Hope this helps. « less" - ulta.com user

Liquid Foundation by BH Cosmetics

"Im a natural girl, but I can be very trendy depending on the occasion. I have been using it since I bought it the same day it launched publicly(4days later by mail) This foundation is great for all weather climates & conditions. The application is super easy especially when applied with the stippling Brush or BH Angeled Foundation Brush. It's moisturizing but not greasy. I have oily skin but applying my primer 1st balanced out my skin. The pigment is AWESOME! It last all day even when I wore it for 14hrs. I only blotted my face once with an oil blotter sheet after the 8th hour. The color on the bottle is lighter than the true inside color so dont be alarmed. I bought the deep beige & deep cocoa just to be on the safe side & to my surprise they both worked very well with my skin tone. Mixing them worked even better. This product out does some of the High End Brands I have paid $40+ for. BH COSMETICS, You have out sone yourselves on this one! I will be stocking up on these. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - bhcosmetics.com user

I love it. Less" - mecca.com.au user
