"I'm telling you ladies, this is the best for sensitive skin types since Cetaphil. This product is better though because for me, it treats hormonal acne, stress breakouts, blemishes, redness and inflammation, dryness, and periodic auto immune disease related excess oil. I have an illness that causes a lot of skin problems for me. I used to be a believer in Proactiv until it turned on me in less than a year. It just stopped working, and I realized how much it was drying out my skin, making it more sensitive, and actually causing wrinkles. I'm 27, don't drink, use tobacco, or do any drugs. So, yeah, it really did that to my face :( This hasn't happened with Dermalogica. The Ultra Calming cleanser is so calming, so easy to use, it feels great going on, and is very easily removed. This is great especially for women on the go. Anytime my face is going berzerk, I can count on it making me feel better. I can leave the house feeling, clean, beautiful and confident. I've always had a problem with products either over drying my skin or making it excessively oily. This does not do that.To the girl who said it clogged her cheek pores--you do need to exfoliate or wear a facial masque to clean out your pores every so often. You can't just put product on your face over and over again and not expect it to clog your pores at some point. That's just nature. It doesn't matter how natural it is. It will happen eventually :) Also, don't spray the hydrating mist on your face excessively. Remember, less is more.I know everyone says it, but I really do have the most sensitive skin on the planet. For so long, Cetaphil was the only thing I could use; even that backfired at times. I have so many food allergies, hormonal, etc. issues. I'm just really, really glad that I found Dermalogica. It even helps when I get the once a month cystic acne breakouts during my menstrual cycle. I may have a couple blemishes on my face, but they aren't NEARLY as red so I can cover them up before leaving the house.I really do hope it continues to work for me for many years to come. I'm going to recommend it to all of my friends in the modeling industry as well as in my autoimmune disease support groups. Thanks Dermalogica!!!! « less" - ulta.com user
A foaming gel cleanser that targets blemish-causing impurities and balances oil with natural salicylic acid and AHAs for clear, comfortably matte skin.
"I have what I call "fussy" skin -- sometimes oily, sometimes dry, occasionally prone to breakouts. But acne products are too strong/harsh, and "natural" products contain something that irritates me. Drugstore brand cleansers work for a while, and then my face gets fussy again. About two years ago, a few weeks before my wedding, I had a clarifying facial using the Botanical Kinetics products at my salon in hopes of clearing my skin before the big day.I was pleased that my skin did indeed clear up, and this cleanser is the only product I've found that suits my fussy skin. It generally keeps my face clear and feeling healthy. One pump is enough to wash your whole face, so one bottle lasts a long time. This is probably the longest I've used any one product with continuing success.I also use the Botanical Kinetics moisturizer, and I find that to be light enough to keep me from breaking out, but moisturizing enough to do some good in the winter. « less" - aveda user
"I purchased this after this was highly recommended to me by an Esthetician. I have been looking for a gentle cleanser that would not dry out my face and help with my occasional breakouts. I have been using the Special Cleansing Gel for about 6 months and I am extremely happy with this product. I have been trying different cleanser for almost two years before I fell in love with this. My face always feels amazingly clean and soft afterwards. It is great at removing makeup. My Esthetician was right - a little goes a long way. I got the 16.9oz and this will easily last the rest of the year.Dermalogica products have changed my life! Since I started using this cleanser along with the charcoal masque, my skin has never been better! I can't get over, evenly toned, clear and smooth my skin has become since using these products. I have recommended this cleanser to family, friends. « less" - dermalogica.com user
"I have sensitive, mature, combo skin and have had a difficult time finding a cleanser that doesn’t leave my skin looking red and feeling irritated. There’s really no scent and it does a great job at cleansing with no trace of make up left behind. I love how it has helped retexture my skin and now it glows! I’ve been using it for over a year now, and will only use it as part of my anti aging skincare regimen!" - dermstore user

"I've been seeing more and more products out there toting charcoal as the new "wonder" ingredient but I "wonder" if it's not just a passing fad. I mean, we use charcoal to grill hamburgers in our barbecues and artists use it for drawing portraits. It is also a main ingredient in aquarium filters to remove impurities from the water. But it is also used to remove toxins from the body and is given to overdose patients and to people who have ingested poison (under a doctor's supervision). Therefore, charcoal must be a pretty hardcore ingredient! And it's now popping up in everything from toothpaste to skin care products to dietary supplements, and even drinks! So when I received the opportunity to test out this Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser in exchange for review, I was very intrigued. The consistency is a thick black gel. You just pump a little in your hands and run it under warm water. It does not contain sulfates, so it does not lather. But it cleans your skin so beautifully without drying. And the best part is how effective it is at removing makeup. You will not have to use a separate makeup remover which saves so much time. It features a gentle, sulfate-free "no tears" formula that does not irritate eyes so you can even take off waterproof mascara without any issues! It has cleared up my blackheads and my skin is looking fantastic. I seriously love this product and I highly recommend it for those of us with oil and acne-prone skin." - ulta user
"I first tried the Olay Pro-X Exfoliating Cleanser when the sample size came with my Olay Cleansing System. I knew after using it for one day that I would need to purchase a bigger bottle, and I did. It is a soft and creamy gel with just enough exfoliating granules to clean my skin without being too rough. My skin feels cleaner and softer and looks brighter. After using it one time I could feel a difference in my skin. My wrinkles and pores are not as visible and my skin looks and feels clean and bright. I started out using it in the A.M. and the P.M., but now I use it in the morning to prepare my skin for makeup. It is well worth the price for great looking skin. " - walmart.com user

"I got this as a sample in a set of Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peels (which I absolutely love) and was a little hesitant to try it. My combination and acne prone skin is really sensitive and I have exclusively used Philosophy Purity for more than 5 years and it has worked great for me. Anything too harsh causes redness, peeling, irritation and even worse breakouts.Since I love Dennis Gross' other products so much I gave it a shot and have since bought a full sized bottle and banished my Purity into the medicine cabinet. This stuff works amazingly. It has no soap in it so it doesn't really foam up and it feels almost gel-ish on your face. I put it in my hands and work it in gentle circles on my face for a couple minutes. It makes my skin sooooo soft and almost plumps my skin up. It also does a lot when my skin decides to break out into tiny bumps and blackheads, almost like a super gentle exfoliant (which Purity just didn't do for me). Could not be happier with this. Also does a pretty good job of removing makeup -- although good luck with Too Faced Better Than Sex, that's not going anywhere without remover ;) « less" - Sephora user

"The Vichy Pureté Thermale Fresh Cleansing Gel is the second product in the trio of #VichyWorksForMe Skincare Super Panel #gotitfree offer that I was fortunate to receive from @ChickAdvisor thanks to the @VichyCanada #productreviewclub offer. This product is amazing! The elegant packing with its clean lines is very appealing but it’s the quality of the cleansing gel that is the real gem. The product smells divine and creates a scented foam that is gentle on your #skin. You can feel the gel thoroughly cleaning your face and removing all traces of impurities. I noticed that my #skin felt soft to the touch, looked radiant and I could see that my skin looked overall healthier. The gel cleaned my skin and did not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I was impressed by the results that transformed my skin after just one use. What a fantastic product for sensitive skin! You don’t need to use a large amount of this product to give your skin a thorough cleansing. The gel rinsed off with ease and did not leave a tight film on my skin. "I purchased this product along with the Bioderma Sebium H2O - Micelle Solution, Hydra - Moisturising Replenishing Care, AKN Fluid - Smoothing Purifying Care, Pore Refiner - Corrective Concentrate about a month ago. (I've left reviews on the other products I bought too if you'd like to get a feel for the 'range'). I'm 26 and have very spotty and oily skin; this range has been fantastic. I've seen a huge difference in my skin in just a few weeks, and other people have been noticing too!The gel does what it says on the tin really. Smells nice, leaves skin feeling clean and fresh but not stripped and tight. I use this in the morning in the shower before anything else, super easy to use. It looks like it'll last quite a while too as you only need one 'pump' per wash.Would really recommend this, along with the other things I've mentioned above, for people who have oily/combination skin and are prone to spots. « less" - Escentual user

"This is a facial cleanser that feels very soft when applying it to your face. It is super gentle and cleans very well. It does not leave residue behind. I use a brush or cloth, create a light lather, and lather away in a circular motion throughout my face. It is like a mini massage for my face. My skin feels soft after washing with this. This cleanser is filled with so much healthy goodness like activated charcoal, marine algae, aloe, and green tea; therefore, it is high in antioxidants, minerals, potassium, and magnesium. All of this is healthy and good for the skin. It helps to nourish and hydrate while fighting off toxins and impurities. It balances your skin's pH, too! That is pretty cool! Many cleansing products that are out on the market are more alkaline, so the skin is not pH balanced. This is a concern for me because this is what contributes to the dehydration of my skin, among other things. This product is balanced; therefore, my skin is balanced. As you can imagine, I will continue using this. I do recommend it. It is a great product overall. For it to be a normal-to-oily skincare product, it works good on dry skin, too. I have combination skin and am prone to breakouts. "I used to use this cleanser to help keep my breakouts at bay, and boy did it do the job. The entire Clear Cell line is amazing, and the only acne products that ever delivered on clearing my breakouts and keeping them under control. I don’t use it anymore because my skin settled down, but I ordered some for my 15 year old son who is starting to get some teenager breakouts; it’s definitely helping keep his skin under control as well. As with any acne product that contains salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide, you will likely see a little bit of drying, but it’s not overly drying and is actually pretty soothing to inflamed skin; any drying you experience should resolve fairly quickly, and if you add the mattifying moisturizer to your routine, you may not experience any at all. An ultra-gentle, soothing facial cleanser that lifts away excess oil, impurities, and makeup while infusing moisture with honey and hyaluronic acid.
"I have been using this for over a year and I love it. I have very classic combination skin with dry cheeks and congested jawline/chin area that often comes up in angry spots. This cleanser is really gentle and deals with both areas without leaving my face dry or tight which I have experienced with other cleansers. A 5 pence piece-sized blob is enough for me to do the the whole face, as it melts on contact and spreads really easily, my last tube lasted 6 months and I used it daily. For that reason it actually works out really good value for money despite seeming pricey at first. This is a repeat purchase for me and one of my favourite beauty products. " - feelunique.com user
An ultra-gentle, foaming gel-lotion cleanser.
"i have combination skin and my acne had gotten very bad due to stress, sports, and using harsh products that caused me to breakout. I tried many expensive products but they only irritated my skin more. I received the travel size cleanser as a gift and i had to buy it again because it almost immediately cleared my skin and gave me radiant and dewy skin. I highly recommend it because my skin becomes immediately smoother after one wash, and you can feel the deep clean. It is such a great, gentle cleanser and it also reduces the appearance of black heads. However, sometimes it dries out my skin so use a moisturizing cleanser (cetaphil) once or twice a week, but I 100% recommend this product. " - Sephora user
"I prefer this cleanser over all others because of my need for convenience on weekday mornings. It has a gentle, silky texture that rinses easily unlike the average foaming cleanser. I often feel like there's a soapy residue with other facial soaps (which might have more to do with my water) but this particular cleanser rinses away perfectly. Best of all, my skin doesn't feel tight and dry after cleansing as it typically does. It effectively gets the morning sheen off and it's also a great midday cleanser for those of us trudging through an incredibly humid and grimy New York City summer. It's been my #1 travel companion for weekends away. I can't speak to its use on heavy makeup since I don't wear any but I can say that I enjoy using it even in the evening. I apply a dollop to my dry face, massage the cleanser into my skin for about 30 seconds focusing on either side of my nose in particular where I have blackheads and then rinse. Definitely recommend. « less" - peachandlily.com user

"My skin has been something of a sensitive bane of my existence; oily here, dry there, "you are Irish so you have to put lots of smelly, sticky sunblock on me, if you put makeup on me I'm gonna behave badly," & now I'm in my 30's so aging is an issue....yeeshh. I have very pale, sensitive, ACNE prone skin. Let me repeat A-C-N-E prone. Everything that can break me out, will. I don't think acne makes you look young & it plagues anyone of any age. And it's not the light sprinkle that disappears in a couple days, I mean the stuff that lingers for weeks & leaves discoloration in it's wake that takes weeks itself to disappear. I've finally reached a point in my 30's where I'm sick of it. I'm making efforts to gradually reduce my daily regime, because I think I've fallen into the "you have to use all these products or kits to clear it up" trap. I would use something for acne, another for oil, another to condition or moisturize where the other had overdried, something for aging....yeesh. Many of them are unnatural, or littered with ingredients I can't make out (& I've studied biotechnology in college), & expensive. I just want to use a couple of things, that are close to natural; wash my face, put on a little sunblock & go. I decided I'd try the Yes line on a whim. Been the best thing I've done for my skin. Since then, my acne has been clearing up & I just have mild post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation to deal with (post acne discoloration), which is lessening. The majority of the items I've used from the line all smell great. That being said, I know smell is subjective. For me, I like the sweet cucumber smell of the cucumber wash, towelettes & lotion.I wash with this or one of the cucumber towelettes of the same brand in the morning & apply sunblock; minimalist makeup. At night I cleanse with this or another cucumber towelette, apply a little 2.5 benzoyl peroxide, & the cucumber lotion. The Yes To Tomatoes for oily/combination skin can be very drying (esp if you were to add s.acid or benzoyl peroxide, which I don't recommend), hence why I tried the two to see which I liked. As nice as the Yes To Tomatoes was, this worked better for me. The Tomatoes was too drying. I'm sure for someone with just oily skin it would be perfect though. I don't wake up with an oil slick for skin with new red bumpy "friends" in the morning, & I think it balances nicely thorough out the day as I don't have mid-day sheen on my brow like I would have before. My skin has a wonderful glow & what discoloration I have is fading. I would recommend this product & brand to anyone interested in starting over with their regime;sick & tired of using multiple products, not getting results with their acne, want something more natural, etc... This is the first time in years I've been this clear, thinking other popular acne kits would work. They didn't. PS always wear sunblock. This product doesn't necessarily make you photosensitive, it's just a common sense recommendation. « less" - ulta.com user
"I am a young Caucasian adult with combination skin. I want a cleanser that cleans my skin (aka does its job), doesn't dry my skin out, and is a simple product with respect to ingredients. I enjoy using this cleanser by Simple. I can work it into a nice lather without needing to use that much product. It doesn't irritate my skin or make it red after use. It also doesn't strip my skin to the point where it feels tight after use; it still maintains integrity and smoothness of the skin. I use this twice a day, along with moisturizer, to keep my face clean day and night. I have not experienced dryness from this product. As for acne, I haven't had any breakouts while using this product that seem cleanser-related. Healthiness of the skin also comes from getting good sleep, eating healthy, and keeping your face clean/not touching it or picking at it. I don't think that healthy facial skin is the result of even the best of cleansers alone. That being said, I feel that this cleanser accomplishes what I want in a cleanser (aforementioned above) and would recommend it. I like that Simple provides a link to look at the ingredients of the product and their use. Do your own research; this is YOUR body and skin!" - walmart user
"I have very greasy/oily skin, this face wash cuts the grease like dish soap but also does a good job of not over-drying. The fragrance is very fresh smelling which I like. I used to use Clarasil face wash which also does a great job of cutting the grease, but the fragrance has an artificial lotion-type smell. This smells like a mild men's cologne. The first tube I got had separated and there was almost no fragrance in the first half, then too much in the 2nd half. As long as you shake the tube up really well when you get it you won't have that problem. Enjoy! " - ebay.com user
"I am pleasantly surprised about how much I love this product. I like that it has no fragrance I do not like fragrance in my skin care as it can sometimes cause irritation. I'm usually not too picky with cleansers to me a cleanser is the cleanser regardless of the price but I actually noticed a difference in my skin with this one. I use this every morning and night and I noticed my acne and irritation pumps were going away by the morning or seemed less red. My only complaint is the dispensary is very wide and loose and a lot comes out at once you don't have a very much control. Not to mention a very little goes a long way less than a dime size amount it foams up very well, which is why it's annoying that so much comes out because your wasting product when you need very little." - ulta user
"I love Obagi and I know this is the real deal legitimate Obagi brand. This is amazing for my acne on my back and although it is 2% salicylic acid it is not irritating or drying at all. I would highly recommend for those with sensitive skin. I love that the liquid is dispensed by a pump making it super easy for me to douse my oval cotton pledgets with the toner and apply to my skin. Once I started using Obagi I never went to another skin care brand again. Obagi is simply the best and this clenziderm pore therapy is just part of one of their product lines specifically designed to fight acne. Ive seen an amazing reduction in the inflamed and red pimples on my back literally over the weekend. I am still amazed at how well and fast this product works. Then again it is an Obagi product and this brand never lets me down with their quality. I was skeptical when purchasing it because I didnt know if it was going to actually be Obagi or not but I can say in all honesty that it is 100% authentic. In the future I will be purchasing my other Obagi facial and cosmetic products from Overstock because of great quality and great pricing. I have nothing but good things to say about this product. "I have extremely sensitive skin due to genetics, a gluten allergy and slight rosacea around my nose and chin. Well, I've tried every cleanser in the book from CVS to Sephora, nothing worked. I about gave up on washing my face, thought I'd have to deal with dullness and zits. Well I went into Saks during a Beauty Event and decided to try the legendary La Mer. After one use my skin looked radiant, firmer and felt so clean and pure. I have found a cleanser that finally doesn't cause my skin to break out into tiny bumps from an allergic reaction, it doesn't cause my skin to be oily nor dry and dull and it smells so refreshing! The other great bonus is that while it's costly, there's a governor in the pump that permits the perfect pump of cleanser. You get just enough of what you need so you won't over use it. At around $11 an ounce, it's actually quite practical. You get a lot for what you pay and I firmly believe that with beauty, you absolutely get what you pay for. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - saksfifthavenue.com user
"ok...i had rosacea pop up in my life about 4 years ago. i struggled to find sensitive skin products that helped with both the redness and dry, flakiness, but even if they helped at first, their soothing effects always seemed to diminish a couple weeks after use. i randomly came across a travel set of the murad vitalic energizing pomegranate line (that mom actually found a garage sale for $3...nice, right?) and fell in love. i was using it for about a year, again starting to notice the soothing quality dropping, and when i went into a sephora store to re-cop, had one of the sales ladies tell me that i should switch to this line for my rosacea. that was last december, and i just will not buy anything else. murad is a litlle pricey, but you only have one face, so you should go ahead and splurge for it, right? :) on top of that, i am still somewhat prone to blemishes as i have the world's largest pores and sometimes oily t-zone. if you are also having issues like this, this is what i have found to work for me, so i thought maybe it could be useful to someone else out there: ~redness therapy soothing gel cleanser ~t-zone pore refining gel ~correcting moisturizer and twice a week: ~pomegranate exfoliating mask i am currently stuck in the midwest, where they experience all four seasons, and there are occasional breakouts and slight dryness, with the period or change of weather, but overall, i wish i had four thumbs so i could give this regimen 4 thumbs up. i feel it's worth every penny, every time. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user
"This made my skin sooo soft instantly! I saw a difference in the bumps on my skin within 8 hours. By the next day, all bumps were gone. I have sensitive skin and get itchy bumps just from reactions to makeup. It starts as a gel and it lathers into a soapy foam. Smell is light and sort of smells like the old clearasil ultra. I normally have dry patches around my mouth and that’s with using my Josie maran Argan oil cleanser and this does not dry out your skin at all. Tightens you’re pores just a bit and makes your skin look so healthy and takes away redness. Just ordered the moisturizer as well!" - sephora user
"I've been a huge fan of TBS and I've tried so many of their cleansers; this one is the best for me so far. I've got oily combination skin, issues with large pores and a little bit of redness; occasional breakouts under the chin and all that. I've tried the Tea Tree cleanser, but it ended up drying my face out. I then switched to the Aloe foaming cleanser, hoping it would help with the redness, but it was just an ok cleanse, nothing special. This one here, is amazing. I've used this for two days, but I'm feeling a difference! I love how you need so little to lather up so much foam so easily! And unlike the foam from those special pumping bottles, this cleanser feels like it has weight on your face, and it really does clean deeper into my pores. My face felt so much softer after the second use. I woke up with literally not oil in my t-zone in the morning- a miracle. And it wasn't a dry no-oil feeling; it was a simple feeling of cleanliness which I loved!!! I personally love the smell of it too, so that's definitely a plus, though I wasn't that fond of it when I first started with the seaweed line two years ago. You'll get used to it though, and it will smell GREAT when you do :) <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - thebodyshop-usa.com user
"Exfoliants are a bit of an issue for me as I have dry, sensitive skin.I have tried many, rejected all and settled for using them only twice a year and only laborious non physical ones. I found many years ago a body scrub, but a face one eluded me.I still searched as I would seasonally 'shed' skin on my bust which is not my favourite look, besides, I spend a fortune of creams that would work better if the many dead layers of skin were not there. Then I received a generous sample of this last spring (which lasted a few months, many thanks), tried it gingerly on my wrist, loved it.The smell is fresh (I worried it would be too strong), the grains super fine and SMOOTH.It polishes as the name indicates, and does not, miracle of miracle, irritate or bring a rash on. I use it on wet skin on both the face and the bust.If you have easily irritated skin, I know how dubious you would be by now: I hate physical exfoliants, fear biological one, have fallen out with many facialists over this issue. One will make me bright red, the other leave me with a dermatitis, I have even had rashes that lasted months following exfoliation. But this one works.Only some Space NK store stock this (the one near Bond Street does), so go and try it if you want to be safe.I admit I baulked at the price when I saw how much it was for a 'mere scrub' but the tube is huge and all I can say is I bought it and will buy it again as I have finally found my face scrub holy grail. "I got the deluxe sample, and let me tell you... This. is. Quality. I've never tried clinique just because not many of their items appeal to me as i could always find a face wash or other item at a more reasonable price. But this has made me question my decision. I've used for the longest time the biore pore strips but goodness am I NEVER buying those types again. This product cleans out my pores like a little vaccuum. It goes on and has the consistency of a mud mask and tries very quickly. A little goes a long way so don't use too much. While washing it off it has a really gently exfoliate. While also not leaving the skin feeling super dry or overworked. A little hard to wash off but that just means more exfoliating time. I've used it multiple days in a row without irritation and i've noticed my pores are clean and appear smaller. My skin is smooth and is easily able to take in moisturizer. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user
"In a morning before using the product, my skin tends to look a little dull and tired. Not unhealthy, just like it needs a pick me up. I see once I have used this wash a definite improvement in my skin – a brighter complexion and my skin does indeed seem to have a glow about it. I look more awake, fresher, and as though I have had a much better night’s sleep than I may have indeed had!"This refreshing gel formulation leaves your skin clear, clean and super soft, with no trace of make-up" - product description. This product certainly is very effective at removing make up. I wear a primer, a liquid foundation, concealer, blusher and sometimes powder on my face. When using this wash, I found that there was no trace of make up following the wash – I brushed a wet cotton pad across each cheek and forehead following the wash to test the effectiveness, and there was no trace of colour on the pad. I often find using other products that they fail this test, and a second wash is required. Not with this gel. Also, as claimed in the description the gel is very refreshing. My skin feels awake and fresh after using it and I always feel ready for the day. Used alone the gel does however make my skin have tight feel, but followed with the recommended and suitable toner and moisturiser combination, I feel perfect and ready for the day." The multitasking cleanser also works to reduce the appearance of blemishes" - product description.Since using this product I can certainly see a huge difference in the blemishes on my skin, and the overall quality of my facial skin. I used to suffer with small pimples on my chin, and also larger spots across my forehead. I have seen a visible reduction in these blemishes, and they continue to improve with continued use of the gel. I am also using other Clarins products in conjunction with this gel, and so the improvement is obviously not down to just this one product, but I am very happy with the results, and there is no doubt in my mind that the wash is a definite contributing factor to the improvement of my skin.I do feel an obligation to point out that I use the entire daily energisers range, and would recommend others do the same to see the highest and most effective results.Overall, I have no reason not to recommend this product to another person and would say without hesitation to try it. It is for women aged around 18 and into their 20’s however, and would stand by Clarins and say use products that are designed for your age if you expect the stated results. Different aged skin needs different levels of care, and so if you are aged 30+ I would not use this product, I would use one from the correct range (Multi Actives for 30’s; Extra Firming for 40’s; and Super Restorative for 50+). « less" - Escentual user

"I do a lot of DIY and garden work and so get mud and dust on my face and so try to keep it clean. I don't like normal soaps as they feel like they dry it out or leather it up. I get small blackheads on my nose which get worse due to my mucky hobbies. My forehead is also a little bit oily and shiny. I usually use Soap and Glory "Scrub Your Nose In It" on my nose which I find dries up the blackheads very well. It also dried out my skin a bit. This stuff was great on my nose to clear up blackheads; not quite as good as the Soap and Glory stuff but it didn't dry my nose out like the Soap and Glory stuff does. I also wouldn't use the S&G stuff on my forehead as it dried it out too however this stuff was great and it cleans and reduces shine well. Obviously that doesn't last long as it just re-oils itself up during the day! It is a black gel but I don't think it's black with colourings which is a good thing. I think it's black with charcoal as I noticed that was one of the ingredients. « less" - boots.com user
"This is an amazing pick me up for the skin! It's always a chore having to go through my usual skin care routine which I take very seriously but this is the best cleanser I've used since I started taking skin care seriously (my early teens). While cleaning, it tingles your skin and awakens it giving your skin a less dull appearance. It doesn't suds up a lot unless you make it if you rub it into your hands but you don't want to look for a cleanser that gets sudsy because that can lead to dry skin. The citrus cleanser is not very hydrating but it's not drying whatsoever. It does have a decent amount of beads for it to consider itself a scrub and not like Aveeno's Detoxifying Scrub so it's a decent combo of the two. I will buy it again but only after I've taken care of these horrible dry patches of skin a L'oreal cleanser left behind after only three days of use. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user

"After years of looking for that perfect cleanser that removed make up, was fragrance free, did not strip or dry the skin, was pH balanced, and did not contain sulfates or fatty alcohols.... I finally found Clean+ Gentle Clarifying Cleansing Gel and I knew my search had ended. It is the best cleanser I have ever used for my acne-prone, sensitive skin. I have tried so many other brands and types of cleansers (micellar, lotion, oil, foaming, etc.), and since I have never been a fan of smelly Garnier products, I was surprised to find this perfect gem under that name. Unfortunately, they have chosen to discontinue their only good product, and point us towards a "better" one that actually made my skin worse. Please bring this product back! Please!" - Garnier user
