"Sorry for the long review.... but I have a lot to say about this product. I suffer from terrible adult acne and I've wasted so much time and money trying to get it under control. So when I came across this product one day I decided to try it. Even if it failed at least I would get coverage out of it. As it turns out - it's amazing! The way it glides over your face evenly; the lightweight feel; and the fact that it kept my oily skin in check was enough to keep me happy. After a hard days work it would still be in place with no noticeable streaks. It had remarkable coverage for a powder - and as the days went by I slowly noticed a decrease in concealer use. Unfortunately after I ran out I was unable to make it to the store to purchase more; and that was when I realized how much it kept my acne under control. It wasn't a rebound breakout - It was the same type of acne I had in the same problem areas with the same severity. But now that I wasn't using the powder to treat it, my face slowly began to break out again. So needless to say - I went back and purchased more. I even gifted it to my sister who has the same skin issues I do, and she noticed a change in her complexion immediately. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that when I made it about half way through the compact, the powder began hardening on the surface from the sponge applicator going over it repeatedly (similar to what happens with eye shadows). So I would use something with a hard edge to gently scrape off the top layer then use that broken powder to apply to my skin. That is probably the applicator itself that causes that. So swapping that out for a poof or brush would likely solve that issue. I myself prefer the sponge applicator and just deal with the problem as it arises." - walgreens user
"I've used Jane Iredale products since they first came on the market. I absoutely LOVE this line. The products I use the most are the mineral loose powder, blush, powdered eye shadow & eyeliners. I will never return to using liquid foundations. I've received sample sizes of other brands of mineral makeup & nothing compares to Jane Iredale. I'm hooked. The JI products I've tried provide great coverage without appearing like you put your makeup on with a trowel.. The products are long lasting (seldom need to refresh makeup during the day), the colors stay true after applying the product, no streaking, smearing/smudging & you will not leave traces of your makeup on clothing or anywhere else. Easy to remove at the end of the day & does not clog your pores. General overall appearance of my skin has improved since using JI. Throughout my life, my skin has been sensitive, oily & dry. I've never had a reaction to any JI product. Price is reasonable & products last for months. I use the products daily. I could be a self appointed spokesperson for the JI line. It is the best stuff I've ever used & I've been wearing makeup for-let's just say for many years. Do your self a favor & try any one of the Jane Iiredale products. You won't be disappointed. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Beauty.com user
"This is a natural looking, sheer foundation. It's never cakey, dry, or irritating, and doesn't settle into pores. Good for older, sensitive complexions, it's moisturizing yet controls oil and shine. I'm fair and use the #2 shade, which disappears into my complexion perfectly when applied over a light BB cream. It has a built in twist and shave-type dispensor, and comes with a powder puff, though I prefer a brush for application. Reasonably priced, it lasts through about three months of daily use. Love it!" - Macy's user
"I use the color stick when I swim/surf/dive/boating on/ in the ocean. Not sure if this ad is for clear or color, but I use the colored tone ochre one so I can see where I am putting it! And it stays on through vigorous activities!!! No joke, I even put a dab on our the top front of our sboards and can reapply from there if need be. The texture to me is medium, i dab it on then spread it once I've warmed up and it doesn't dry my skin out. I dont mind the scent as i'm not using it really for 'makeup'. I have to use sunscreen daily and I use this on top for water activities, I would not use this as makeup..... I am looking into the compact for even more coverage, but this stuff is the holy grail for anyone who likes to be in/ on the water and not get burned when the sun is out for 11+ hours a day ( aloha from Hawaii) « less" - Macy's user
"I’m a fan of Perfectionist Serum and Liquid Foundation. This is a light mousse creamy powder, no brush needed. Application over SPF provides buildable light to medium coverage and natural finish. Sturdy compact has a good mirror and divider for the thick sponge. Perfect for travel, easy to apply. Smooth, hydrating, feels barely there. Color match is so close to my skin I can’t tell I’m wearing it, and it’s the same liquid foundation shade I switched over to (N to C). My skin can be dry or combination depending on humidity, but I’ve gotten flawless all day wear. I use a light touch of bronzer powder instead of setting powder. Perfect update to my routine. Purchased a second compact for my travel bag. Another innovative texture and product from EL." - Nordstrom user

"Env: developmentI admit, I am young looking for my age, and normally do not purchase make up or skin care products for "lift" or anti-aging properties. But I left my foundation at home so while visiting my mother I borrowed her **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20. ****Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **is a 1.0 ounce bottle of foundation with sun protection level 20. It is in a heavy glass bottle not easily broken, with a small "pump" similar to those on hand lotions used for dispensing the make up.Priced at approximately $45.00 it may be considered very expensive, but the bottle really does last a long time. The **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **foundation comes in approximately 15 colors to choose from, each of the starting with the title "lifting." I probably would never have purchased this item for myself, but I also wear very little make up, such as some foundation, mascara and lipstick and I am out the door, especially at the price of $45.00. What was truly gratifying to me was after running around Dayton, Ohio all day long, and experiencing a rather stressfull day I stopped by my in laws (for some comfort and wine). My father in law said, "Wow!" Lisa you have always had beautiful skin, but you are absolutely glowing today," My mother in law wondered what I had done to my skin to make it look so smooth, soft and radiant. I actually had to think about it. Then I remembered! Now, to get that kind of reaction, I will definitely spend a lot more money on my foundation. Since a little goes a long way, and my skin looks healthy, why spend almost the same amount over the course of months buying bottle after bottle.**Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **holds up well in the Houston heat.it goes on smooth and creamy and is very easy to remove also. I have used it all summer, and without any other sun protection product I have avoided sun burns and my skin at the end of the day still looks fresh and smooth. Although I have never had a problem with acne, sometimes I would get a break out here and there when switching make up and that did not happen to me with this one.5 Stars from this 40 something mom. "Let me start by saying that by far this is The Best foundation I have tried till this day. I have used a range of products such as MAC, MAKE Up For ever, Chanel, & other CD foundations and none have given me the light look with full coverage and long lasting effect as this one.I believe to have a combination skin since in the summer my skin is oily around the T zone and chin and during the winter it could get a bit dry.Like others have mentioned I have been using this product now for over a 6 months and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It makes my skin feel like silk & it gives my face a porcelain look, exactly like the dolls. Does not evaporate like others when in the sun or in heat & no need for retouch.I usually do my make up prior to changing into the days wardrobe and the make up actually stays on the face and not the clothes. I have tried with primers and without, with setting sprays and without and the look is FAB.About the compliments, I can honestly say I get compliments almost on a daily basis, The best compliment was after more than 12 hours in a delivery room and not having the time to remove my make up at night the next day shift nurses asked me if I had gotten up early to do my make up for the baby visitors. I laughed and told them that the make up I was wearing was from the day before, talk about LONG LASTING without the retouch.I have recommended the product to a few people and as well as I have fell in love. Will definitely continue to purchase. I am obsessed with the look it gives & the way it feels « less" - saksfifthavenue.com user

"This is the most natural looking foundation that i have ever used, which is why, i love it so much. As, i don't care to wear heavy, masky foundations on a regular basis anymore, as it just isn't best for my skin overall. If i do wear a full coverage foundation, it is for special occasions only now, otherwise, this is the only foundation that i wear on a regular basis at this time and definitely will continue to do so, as long as MAC keeps selling it. I like that it's lightweight, doesn't break me out or irritate my skin in any way, plus, it is very long-lasting, and i happen to live where the climate is hot and humid almost all year round, and it holds up through such. And, i don't experience this foundation transferring all over the place like alot of other foundations do, plus, i have gotten my face wet while wearing this foundation and it never budged. Even though the foundation does have a runny consistency to it, i do find it very easy to apply with a brush to my face, and i am able to layer it without any issues in order to get the level of coverage i desire. In regards to my skintype, during the Fall and Winter Seasons, my skin goes from being dry to very dry. And, during the Spring and Summer months, my skin is dry, combination. I also have acne prone skin, and i suffer with seborrheic dermatitis that happens to flare up just about any time during the year. I find this foundation to blend seamlessly into my skin wirhout there being any type of sharp contrast between the color on my face and the color on my neck and the rest of my body. As, somehow, the color that i wear in this foundation, C2 just works perfectly for my light-medium skintone. With this foundation, it has a very, faint citrus smell, that immediately goes away soon after application. So, this foundation does not have any strong or offensive odor to it at all. Now, before you apply this foundation to your face, it is very important that you shake it real well, because this foundation does slightly separate, due to its very unique formulation. However, after you give it a good shake, then the foundation is all good to go. And, unlike alot of other foundations that i have tried, this foundation doesn't oxidize on me at all. And, even though it is designed to provide a satin finish, i have not experienced any issues with this foundation making my face look super dewy or super shiny looking at all within a few hours or truly anytime at all during the day. It just leaves this very slight hint of dewiness to my face, which i like, because no one is born with a super matte looking face anyways. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - M·A·C user
"Shiseido Stick Foundation is a real favorite of mine- love the ceamy, moisturising finish, blends very well, is buildable. Everytime I wear it I get a compliment from my husband- "You look nice today!" Very good selection of colors. In the winter I use B20 for my medium fair complexion, but I think I will try blending it with B40 when feeling a bit pale as another reviewer mentioned. It gives a soft, dewy finish, slightly matte, not at all shiny, just very natural. Very easy to apply- I use a makeup sponge to blend. Very lightly fragranced. And compared to some other high end makeup, reasonably priced. I have tried Bobbi Brown Stick, but found it to be less blendable and didn't like the color selection. Love Sisheido-they get it right!" - Nordstrom user
"For starters, I'm in my 30's, have combination skin and implement a regular morning and night time moisturizing routine. After trying all of the cushion compacts I could get my hands on, I've settled on the this Age Defying cushion compact and adore this formula. Normally Amore's age defying formulas are preferred for more mature skin, but I liked the finish and felt more hydrated after I cleansed this formula off (with cleansing oil) more than the other Amore cushion formula. You have the option of using the pad to press on the foundation if you need a deeper coverage or you can use a face brush (I use the BB Full Coverage face brush) to apply it in a lighter manner. The coverage is very even and does cover an acne scar or two rather easily. My complexion is olive tone and I wear the 208 color (I also wear 5.25 in BB for reference). With my old routine, I did set my foundation with powder, but I don't need to with this foundation. I also am a person that works up a sweat easily and I can comfortably sweat through this foundation on a humid-warm day outdoors with feeling like my foundation may melt off. I used to have to make touch ups/blots due to some oil coming to the surface on my foundation mid-day, but I don't anymore with this foundation. I'm really happy with this cushion foundation and would recommend this foundation. « less" - Nordstrom user
"It was time for a new foundation. I had been wearing, of late, Loreal Visible Lift which is a great foundation for the price. Before that I had worn Lancome and then Cover Girl Simply Ageless, my favorite of the group. But, I needed something for my dry skin and the these just did not cut it. I was prepared, even on my tight budget, to pay whatever necessary, to get the right, HG foundation for me. I was looking for a product with good anti-aging ingredients, super moisturizing, and mainly a product which would not settle into my wrinkles and had some luminescence to it. it could not be overly matte either because as we know, matte makes older skin look terrible. Had to have a glow to it but not look too shimmery. It had to feel 'right' to me also.I researched and researched. I came home from Sephora armed with samples of highly rated foundations; Hourglass, Makeup Forever, Laura Mercier, etc. I tried all the samples I brought home and one of them seemed almost right, but not quite. I realized I had to have a cream foundation to get the moisturizing I need. I found this foundation. I actually ordered it, guessing at my shade. I chose the warm sun beige. I am light blonde with green eyes and olive medium skin. I was concerned this shade would have orange to it but it did not . It is a wonderful beige shade. It does not look at all like the sample on the site. I am realizing although this shade will work just fine for the 'pale' look, I want a little more color and summer is coming on, so I am ordering a shade or two darker as well. I do wish the EA site would give a description of all their shades (like most on Sephora site), to make it easier to select one. As it is, it does not give a description and you cannot tell some of the light shades from the darker shades. Hope they fix that. I know they say to go into a local store and try it but for some of us, that is difficult to do. ANYWAY, about this foundation...it is so fabulous! I doubt I will ever wear anything else. It meets all my requirements. It looks so great on, like I am not wearing anything at all on my face! it smooths out imperfections, makes pores look smaller, not too matte looking, and has a slight luminescence to it. It has a gorgeous finish. Mostly... it is moisturizing! Terrific for dry skin. You will love this foundation if you have dry skin , especially.Don't forget to order the sponge applicator for this. It is super high quality. It is only 15.00 and worth every penny. Actually, you could use this for any cream or liquid foundation. Love it! « less" - elizabetharden.com user
"I think spf in cosmetics causes me to break out and gives me milia so I try to avoid it whenever possible. I decided to try this foundation because it was one of the few I could find without spf. It still has the titanium dioxide which helps to shield the skin but does not have that heavy spf to it which I believe clogs my pores. The color of this foundation is beautiful. The linen beige is actually natural and not orange at all.Estee Lauder knows how to make natural skin tone shades. My skin feels so nice and smooth when Im wearing it also. Its very natural. Its not cakey or flaky which many cheap brands of foundation are. I think it seems to cover my pores better than some of the popular high end full coverage foundations I've tried. If I use alittle foundation primer first in the t zone area before applying this the pores disappear completely. I use a foundation brush to apply mine which really helps to blend it. Oh and it also washes off easily at the end of the day! Very important if you do not want to breakout.Overall Im very happy with my purchase and will be repurchasing most likely and discontinuing use of the other foundations I own. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="5183191712971304400-full" data-show="5183191712971304400-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user
"This foundation has the perfect level of coverage and has a moist dewy finish that does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. I use Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer with SPF 30 as my base moisturizer. I do not use loose or pressed powder and the make-up lasts all day! There is only one drawback - and it's very minor.....the pump take a very strong, firm finger to press it down. I would like to see a change in the level of difficulty in pressing the pump. I have to use my thumb to dispense a full measure of the product. :( Other that than, it's great! "I'm so happy the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare was sent to me complimentary to try out and share my opinion. I don't think I would have thought of purchasing this as I'm not too familiar with IT Cosmetics, but Let me tell you! This foundation blew my mind. It's medium coverage, I'm usually a full coverage girl but I don't mind this. I pop on a bit of concealer where I have my blemishes and this foundation is a dream. It applies so well. The forumula is great and blends easily with a brush or beauty blender (I've tried both). It is so lightweight, you easily forget you're even wearing foundation! There's no cakey look even when I build it up a bit. As for the 'better-looking skin' claim, that's one I'd really like to believe and in time I'll be able to determine that for myself. And for sure I will because I'm going to be using this foundation to the last drop and then getting myself a bottle once it's finished. I have oily skin and this worked well. I usually have issues with separation around my nose and upper lip area even with the use of various primers and setting powder but I haven't seen any such problems with this foundation so far. The shade I was sent is Tan Neutral 42 (my complexion is medium complexion but more on the lighter side) and this was a very close match. Perhaps there might be a shade in their line that may match me exactly but this didn't do a bad job when I paired it with my concealer. Overall, really great foundation that I can't seem to find a fault with. Only thing I'm wondering now is if IT Cosmetics has a 'full coverage' foundation. I'd be very interested in that just by how impressed I am with this one! I do like the medium coverage though, it's nice and light for when you want to look put together without too overdone. I certainly recommend this foundation!" - sephora user

"This is my new favorite foundation.About my skin: I have yellow/neutral combination skin with an oily t-zone. I don't have any dry patches, minimal fine lines, and mild rosiness. My skin is not prone to break outs. I like using light foundation to even out my skin tone and reduce the rosy tones in my skin. A natural finish is of utmost importance.I am pretty fair (although not the fairest of the fair) and I use this in 10 Beige. I'm also 10 Beige in Vitalumiere Aqua - the colors match up. This foundation provides light to medium coverage (I like wearing it sheer) and is not drying at all. "Velvet" is a perfect descriptor for the finish. It is not dewy, but not matte and flat either. It does not settle into lines and wears well throughout the day. When it fades, it does so evenly and not in patches. It's nice on its own, but i love wearing Le Blanc de Chanel as a base under it, and I set it on my t-zone with MAC MSF or all over the face with an Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder for a subtle glow.I love this more than Vitalumiere Aqua, which I'm going to relegate to winter use. I'm really looking forward to using this through the summer. If you have similar skin concerns to me, I don't think you'd regret this purchase. « less" - Nordstrom user

"This foundation is incredible. I don't usually like to wear liquid foundation on my face because by the end of the day it feels heavy. It may sound strange but my face feels dirty and I can't wait to wash my face to get it off. Not the case with this foundation! Though I was using a decent liquid mineral foundation from Arbonne, it did not hydrate my skin like the Youngblood foundation does. My skin feels very hydrated and smooth. Although I don't make a habit of it, I have gone to bed a few times without washing my face with this foundation on and I haven't had clogged pores or breakouts. This is the best foundation I have ever used! " - BeautyBridge.com user
"I don't like to use foundation with sunscreen, so I had been using Teint Miracle but it filled every pore and even if I moisturized my face beforehand, it made my skin look dry. I realized that at 52 I need a foundation with a little more moisture. I tried this one and luckily the woman at the counter found my correct color; it makes my skin look stunning. I still need to be careful applying between the eyebrows--skin seems very dry there, but the color is perfect and my skin looks luminous and smooth wearing it. It's more expensive, but it looks really good on my skin. Just wish it didn't contain unnecessary sunscreen." - Macy's user
"I'm 24 and recently I've been struggling with acne and acne marks worse than when I was a teenager, so I went into Ulta ready to spend tons of money on a great foundation. What I found was that almost all of the high-end foundations clung to the small, nearly-invisible dry patches on my face (mostly around spots that were healing). I have oily to combination skin, so this was really a surprise! I had been using Colorstay (Shades 150 or 180 in the "Oily" line) for a while, but the lack of a pump made using it a hassle and a mess! So I decided to try this on a BOGO while repurchasing Colorstay...and I ended up liking this even better. For comparison, it's thinner than Colorstay while giving comparable coverage. The consistency makes it easy to blend all over my face and then go back over problem areas with another layer of foundation to augment coverage; this way, it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask. My skin has definitely been improving and I can leave the house with just a thin layer some days. For reference, I'm a 2.0-3.0 (winter-summer) in UD Naked and I wear 10-30 in this line. I recommend this to everyone I know and even got my mom hooked. A must try! « less" - ulta.com user
"This is very lightweight and goes on very smoothly. I find with this particular coverage you will need to work fast to rub it in as it dries quickly. This might cause streaking. I have very oily skin and surprisingly I think this is the best coverage I've ever used for it. It seems to dry up alot if the oil but doesn't leave me feeling dry or cause any dry patches afterwards. Definitely worth the money. I usually wear a light to medium coverage but had to go medium with this. I also had an Nordstrom's associate to match me in the store so that was helpful. The associate also matched it with a primer but I think it works best without primer. The primer seem to just lay on the skin and keep the fresh water tint adhering to the skin. If using the fresh water tint alone it attaches to the skin and stays put even on oily skin. Not really sure this is good anti aging but I'll sometimes switch between this and the other brand of foundation which is anti aging just so I still have that benefit. Less" - Nordstrom user
"I bought this product not really knowing anything about it, because I was trying to find a better powder foundation. I had recently purchased the IT Cosmetics powder foundation in Illumination, and I thought I loved it, but as the day went on, it just caked up on me like crazy! I have really, really, oily skin, so I probably should have gotten the Matte version, but I still feel that it would have been heavy and cakey. This Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation is quite possibly, the best powder foundation I have tried. I've used Chanel, Bare Minerals, Josie Maran, MAC, IT Cosmetics...etc, and this one does not get cakey, and feels so lightweight, yet it really does cover well. I don't have a ton of freckles, but I have some acne spots, and redness around my nose, and it really does cover it up. I use the NARS Pro Prime Pore Refining primer before I apply this powder, and it seems to work well with it. I get oily very easily, so I'm not the best person to judge on it's oil absorbing effectiveness, but it's a powder, so it does give you that soft, matte, porcelain finish right after you apply it. I did put a setting powder over it, because I really wanted to lock in the foundation for a long time. I'd say it lasted me about 4-5 hours before I started to notice some serious shine. But even with the shine, I just blotted it away, and it still looked fine. The powder seems to blend in with the skin, not just sit on top, like the IT Cosmetics one did. If I tried to blot my skin with the IT Cosmetics powder, it would have wiped completely off, and I would have had a patches of skin with no powder left. I highly recommend this powder foundation because it leaves your skin looking beautifully poreless and really evens out your complexion. It also smells amazing, just like their chocolate eyeshadows! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-8658280355494477061-full" data-show="-8658280355494477061-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

"Country Mist is the first makeup I have tried that comes close to E.L.'s Enlighten that was discontinued about 5 yrs ago. It has a light, natural coverage that does not crease or become dry. "I'm 73 years old, and find the challenges of age-appropriate makeup and makeup techniques challenging, to say the least, so it is with great pleasure I've found the perfect concealer to enhance my under-eye area without having to deal with caking and creasing and drying in this delicate area. I have a light to medium skin tone, and Burberry Cashmere Concealer in Honey has become an integral part of my daily regimen. Application is a pleasure: the cashmere-like tip is a lovely idea, and easy to control. (Upon receiving the product I gave it a few good pumps to start the flow, and now use only one pump to disperse the small amount of product sufficient for both eyes.) FYI, my complete regimen: After moisturizing my face and neck, I begin with an under-eye conditioner (Chanel), letting it dry and soak in for a few minutes, and then use the Cashmere tip to dab a small amount of concealer around and under the whole eye area including the corners of inner and outer eye, patting it in lightly. I follow that with a thin layer of my foundation, Armani Maestro Fusion makeup #5.25, lightly brushing it over my entire face including (carefully) over the concealer and not forgetting to extend a thin film onto my throat and ears and behind and below the ear (so easy to forget this and so obviously off-shade if one forgets to enhance that area too). Then I apply my eye makeup, jazz up my thinning eyebrows and lashes, follow that with a very thin application of powder blush---Dior Mimi Bronze---and pat a very light film of Chanel Light Creator Brightening makeup base (in the pale yellow shade, Mimosa) to the outer corner of my eyes and continue down over just the top of my cheekbones. Adds a lovely subtle sheen, making the whole face look perfectly moisturized and healthy. Then outline the lips lightly and just as lightly apply lipstick (current favs are Armani Ecstacy Tangerine and Burberry Nude Apricot.) Sounds complicated, but easy and such a natural look for mature skin... Less" - Nordstrom user

"I absolutely 😍 this foundation. I have been using it for a few months now and I swear it made my skin feel and look better. It is a pricier foundation, but totally worth every penny in my opinion. You do not need to use a lot of it and one bottle lasted me 3 1/2 months. I recently ran out so I have to wait until Thursday to get a new bottle, so I am using some Channel foundation I had. I used to think Channel was the holy grail of make-up, but the Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv is close to perfect as foundation can get. It does not settle into lines, it stays on all day and you can not feel it on at all. Another plus I noticed on my skin a month after using was how my skin became more radiant looking. I also noticed that fine lines around my eye and mouth area were reduced by at least 50%. Yet, another plus are how my cheeks do not have a bumpy appearance to them, because the foundation does not settle on the skin in a cake-like way. I wear the pebble color and apply it with a moist make-up sponge. I found it is a little less expensive to get it online. Estée Lauder online also has some pretty nice make-up sets you can purchase at a discounted price. I Includes my picture that I took with my phones camera a couple weeks ago. I did not use any filters to enhance my face in any way, just facing the sun. This picture was taken after wearing the foundation for 6 hours on my face with no re-apply. Less" - esteelauder.ch user
"I purchased this foundation after hearing positive reviews about it, and I must say I'm not disappointed in the slightest. The foundation comes in a glass, pump bottle, it is a little heavy, but don't let that put you off! The pump is great as it is really precise and you can control exactly how much you want dispensed, so no fear of wasting any!The bottle looks very chic and glamorous as well with the gold lid, so no embarrassment when you pull it out of your makeup bag in public! The foundation itself has quite a thin consistency, yet it will still manage to cover imperfections and evens out skin tone to a uniform colour, giving a medium finish. It feels very lightweight on the skin and you don't get the heavy, mask feeling that a lot of foundations give. It has a fresh watermelon scent, which is quite pleasant, but only lasts while you're applying the foundation, it fades within seconds, so no lingering smells if you don't like watermelons! The finish is a cross between dewy and matte, it's a very difficult appearance to describe, but I have combination skin, and it manages to moisturise the dry areas, as well as stopping any oily areas looking shiny. It is oil free, and has pretty good lasting power- after a day's wear it still looks fresh, and when I remove my makeup in the evening after applying it in the morning, there is most definitely foundation coming off on my cotton pad, so I know it has lasted throughout the day and hasn't faded away.Clarins say it replicates real skin and this is a high claim, but I think it does a fair job. As long as you blend well, the foundation sinks into your skin without any obvious traces that you're wearing it.All in all, a really fantastic foundation, provides natural, medium coverage, and not only that, but several people have commented on how lovely my skin looks. I can 100% see myself repurchasing his when my current bottle runs out. Am I impressed? YES! A foundation which really does what it says it will! « less" - Escentual user
:) Less" - medpex.at user
"I really struggled with making yet another foundation purchase after trying numerous products over the years. I am completely thrilled with the results. At 54 years I have some noticeable changes to my skin: fine lines, redness, hyper pigmentation from the sun and an overall loss of glow- this product was amazing and I truly mean that. It provided light to medium coverage (I applied with a damp, good quality sponge# and evened out my skin tone without settling into a single fine line. There is absolutely no powdery, cakey, or gloppy cream finish- no exaggeration of lines/wrinkles. Instead my skin looks truly fresh and dewy- not shiny; no unrealistic glittery components in the finish- just bright, youthful looking skin. I know I sound like a commercial for this product but I'm writing with passion for all of you, who- like me- thought I could never feel comfortable in my own skin again. I have some areas of redness in the creases of my nose which require more coverage- for that I used the BB foundation stick #also applied with a damp, good quality sponge# for beautiful coverage. These two products combined gave me a light, dewy complexion all over #from the moisturizing balm# and beautiful coverage of my redness -precisely and ONLY where needed #from the foundation stick#. The two products blended together beautifully- no kidding, seamlessly. I was also concerned about getting a good color match shopping online. As a young woman my complexion was very fair #almost porcelain) with age and sun exposure it has darkened substantially in some areas. Finding a good match has been impossible. The Light to Medium Tinted Moisturizing Balm was perfect- how it works across the multiple shades of my skin- I don't understand- but it does! It is worth every penny- it takes just a small amount to get my whole face, neck, deco looking beautiful without a trace of looking like I'm wearing makeup. For the foundation stick I took a chance and tried Sand. Again perfect! Most foundations I have tried made red areas look even redder and still didn't cover and made the rest of my complexion too orange. These two products cooled down my complexion. I am so happy I tried these products! I am a Bobbi Brown convert. I once again have the lovely complexion of my past- and am getting compliments once again. Try it, if it somehow does not work for you return it- taking a chance was a gift to myself. I have such confidence now- especially in bright daylight- nothing to hide anymore! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="3151377659253191168-full" data-show="3151377659253191168-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - bobbibrowncosmetics.com user

"I have been using this foundation since it became available and I am obsessed with it. I am 58 and have very good skin, as far as smoothness is concerned but do have a few melasma spots.I like to apply it with either a make up sponge or make up brush. This foundation glides on like a luxurious skin care cream. It is extremely easy to blend and layer, achieving beautiful coverage without creating a mask or appearing caked. It feels light and incredibly comforting on the skin, never dries or flakes.I like to layer several skin care products in the morning, and yet this foundation applies easily, never looks greasy and never separates from the skin. It literally melts in to it.It provides a flawless, dewy finish, and makes skin look luminous for HOURS.I am extremely impressed with this product, it is definitely worth its price. "EA Flawless Finish is the prettiest makeup there is. I have used it on and off for more than thirty years. I have found nothing that exceeds or equals this makeup for its coverage and pretty finish. The Satin finish is great for oily skin. Even without powder, it is not too oily. However, the powder does help set it and give it its finished look. It feels amazing on the skin. The liquid immediately turns to a silky powder-like finish. It is so easy to apply and blend. It provides great coverage without feeling heavy. I have Rosacea, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. This makeup covers it all. I can not say enough good things about this makeup. I really like the way it smells too. It has a subtle perfume-like smell. I have tried other foundations that have a chemical smell to them. Yuck! This is the only makeup that I have worn and have gotten compliments on. I get compliments every place that I go when I have this makeup on. The only complaint that I, personally, ever had was that I could not find that perfect color. So, I had to use concealers and powders to make the color right. Now, EA has a better color selection and I have found the perfect color. It is Neutral Bisque (I have light/medium skintone with olive undertones). I am just now returning to use this makeup, again. I do not intend to change again. I really do not understand some of the reviews that I read stating that the makeup doesn't last through the day or that it does not blend well. It most certainly does blend well and last throughout the day. I wanted to write this review to let people know how truly amazing it really is. Do not go by the negative comments that some had to say about it. I think maybe, they do not know how to properly apply makeup. Try it and judge it for yourself. I do not think that you will be disappointed. I hope EA never stops making this makeup or changes a thing about it. « less" - elizabetharden.com user
"I was introduced to mineral make up by Bare Minerals in 2005. I have tried and experimented with several other mineral make ups since then and I have to say that Glo Minerals is far superior to all I have tried (and I have tried a lot). The color selection is wonderful, the brushes are amazing and even the primer is better than the others I have tried. The first day I wore it to work, my co-workers asked if I had had a facial because my skin glowed. It covers well, doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles and looks natural. I was so impressed with the pressed base, I bought the primer, highlighter, brushes, lip plumper and eyeshadow. You can say I am hooked on this line. " - canada.gloprofessional.com user
"I have tried almost everything from the line. From makeup to skincare I love most of it and whatever I didn't I still liked. The stretch concealer is the only concealer I've used in months. But I was hesitant to buy this because I saw reviews that said it gets oily. As a former oily girl I was nervous, but I've been super dry the last year or so. Makeup normally clings to my dryness & just looks flaky. As soon as I got this I tried it on my hand & it felt like the world's thinest primer. Meaning it felt so smooth, but also so lightweight. I knew I'd like it. Then on my face it was perfect. I'm not one for matte foundation, or even foundation at all. I use a CC cream as my fullest coverage product, so this is ideal for everyday - work, errands, etc. If you're like me and have iffy skin and hate the feeling of makeup so you go without it then look in the mirror at a store & get scared this is perfect for you. It is so lightweight, I forget I'm wearing it. It feels like nothing at all, but it blurs my pores, fades redness, and does NOT cling to any dryness at all. This is also great if you like to have a touch of coverage and maybe brows and head out. So many other products look weird on their own and too mask like. This looks like you're not wearing makeup, rather you skin is just glowing and brighter and more even. It is NOT medium or full coverage by any means, but it is light coverage and semi-buildable (you won't get more than light, but it do a little something). I do still get an oily Tzone, but this doesn't advance that. It lasts looking great with no touch ups for 8+hours on me & I never get that feeling like I need to wash my face right now. It goes perfectly with stretch concealer and cloud paint too. I am obsessed! If any of these things relate to you, you will love this!" - glossier user
"Face Atelier is my favorite cosmetic line on the market. Their Face Finish is a product I really love, especially over my Atelier foundation. I have combination skin. I'm not fond of matte foundation. Since Face Atelier foundation is semi-matte, I spray this Face Finish as it gives me a moist finish. It dries beautifully and leaves a very light glow. Since Southern CA has a dry climate, I like to take a small bottle of the Face Finish with me as a refreshing spray. I love that it does not contain alcohol. I also use this spray while applying makeup to give it a moist base. If you are very oily, this product wouldn't be appropriate. Atelier has a matte spray. I know it's expensive, but worth every penny. I'm on my second bottle. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user
"BEST! FOUNDATION! EVER!I purchased this Chanel foundation as a last minute attempt to find a good foundation for my mature, drying skin for my daughter's wedding. I immediately was wowed that it looked flawless and yet light, with coverage that was just right for what I was attempting. I found it to be long wearing and very much moisturizing and dewy from minute one to the end of the eve. LOVE IT!Yes, it is pricey, however after noticing the stock of half used not quite right bottles of foundation from varies brands in my makeup stash, this is well worth it and it will last quite a while, for it is quite concentrated. The trick is the PERFECT match. I did not have a Nordstrom store in my area. I trusted the customer help and they did not disappoint. I was able to talk to a beauty consultant who after asking a couple questions of which foundation brand and color I liked, she was able to cross match a great match. It was spot on.Nordstrom you are the best, as is Chanel! Less" - Nordstrom user
"I first purchased this foundation stick at NM. I love Tom Ford Beauty products and I am over the moon that Sephora now carries the entire collection! I have sensitive, combination skin and this foundation makes my skin look flawless. I am sure my Tatcha skincare regimen doesn't hurt. If you aren't able to go to a Sephora to find your perfect match, check out the Beauty Professor's website. She has amazing swatches of all of the shades of the Tom Ford foundations. I can wear this foundation with or without primer and powder or setting spray (but I prefer to at least add powder to my t-zone as it can get slightly oily in the Summer heat). This foundation gives your skin a natural, flawless finish (neither fully matte or overly dewy). It wears well all day on me without touch ups. The coverage is medium to full. I highly recommend putting on a layer (in swipes on your face) and blending it out with a brush or a BB. Then if there are areas where you need more coverage, you can build those areas up more without any cakiness or heaviness on the skin. It doesn't emphasize pores or wrinkles and is my favorite foundation to take on trips because it is super-travel friendly. This is the first foundation stick that I was able to find the right color in and it has the right texture, coverage, and finish." - sephora user
"Normally I don't write reviews, just read them and take them for what they are. Not one product will work across the board for everyone based on reviews. That said - this product is amazing. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on products only to toss away or come to find out I fell for the marketing hype yet again. Thankfully I have the job that allows for that but let's be real - no one can blow through money like that in search of a decent foundation for very long.I have skin that produces more oil than most oil rigs in my T zone and normal in the rest. Blotting papers are my constant companions. I also have pores the size of manhole covers on my nose and cheeks. Covering those takes spackle and patience - neither of which I have nor desire to use. My skin is flat, redness, just blah. Like beige paint - just blah. I needed something that would cover the redness, even out my skin tone, if lucky, maybe save me a blotting session every 30 minutes, and not make me look like I had troweled on foundation. I am blemish free and not trying to conceal anything so I'm lucky in that respect. I don't like liquid foundations or the gloopy feeling from same. That being said - I purchased this. I thought the price was a bit high but figured what the heck - I could always return it. I've learned to start doing that - my bank account thanks me. I used to use another brand of compact foundation which I loved for color match - but they no longer make. I'm a medium beige - cool to neutral undertones. Most compact foundations make me look jaundiced or washed out / pale / gothic #not the look I'm going for#. This one is amazing.I started out with Dune - but it had a chalky cast to it. I went to return it and the clerk suggested camel. In the compact it looked like it had a hint of a yellow hue - I thought ok fine - I'll try it for a day - see ya tomorrow for a return. Wow - I was so wrong. This is a perfect match. It's not a tan in a compact - but looks like I had a bit of a healthy tan / glowI've had several compliments today on how rested and healthy I look. That I have a glow to me, your face looks so amazing, etc. Never heard any of that in the past 46 years. Mind you - I empty a bottle of wine at night - so I'm not exactly the vision of healthy lifestyles. Also just returned from a business trip so dealing with jetlag and dehydration from flying. All things that you would expect would make you look busted which I normally do but with this on my face - like none of it ever happened. This stuff is just amazing. I does control oil - I do have to blot - but not nearly as much - I'd say maybe 3 times a day as opposed to every hour. Your skin has a glow - not glitter, not some fake shine - but just a healthy, stress free, well rested glow. However they pull that off is amazing.I moisturize, put on a primer and then brush this over my face with a powder brush. I use the sponge to press in the product in a few areas. I find that either dragging the sponge or buffing the product in does not work for me. Simply sweeping over and pressing in here and there gives me a close to flawless finish #even helps minimize my manhole sized pores - which is a miracle in of itself# I do a touch up around the nose area mid afternoon and that's it - the stuff lasts all day.I strongly suggest you try this. Yes it's expensive, yes the color shades are not as many as other lines, but something in this stuff actually works and does make you look natural, makeup free, without redness, perfect skin, well rested, etc. I can't say enough good things about this. The truly funny part - I was researching for yet another powder compact foundation, and this stuck out to me since the package resembled the compact I had used. I had never heard of this brand before, they have a small counter, nothing really mainstream like brands.Hands down - this one is a keeper. « less" - Nordstrom user
"I did not like to wear foundation before finding this product as I thought it made me look too made-up, old and distressingly tended to highlight my pores which I never knew were there until putting on foundation. I have been using this product now for about 4 years and have tried both the ultimate lift and intesive lift foundations. I do not honestly find a difference between the two and this one is $15 less expensive. It is an execellent product as it is moisturizing and does not look heavy which can sometimes be the case when you get to the age when you need a little more coverage. It is not sticky or dense as you can sometimes find in products with SPF. I have two recommendations for ladies who cannot match skintone. Because this is in a jar you can buy a light shade close to your skin tone and then mix in a darker shade to match - I personally mix pale almond and shell beige to get a nice natural looking warm tone. Second choice is to dust over the lighter tone with a darker renutriv powder. This works for me especially in the summer when humidity is high - less desirable in the dry winter. The only negative is that It does wear off - on your hands, cell phone and potentially clothes during the day but I imagine this is true with any foundation. Really a nice product. Hope this is helpful. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user
"Loving this new foundation by NYX! Excellent for summer and Perfect for my dry skin. Gives off a radiant glow and dewy look. Hydrating, long-standing, little-no transfer, smooth finish, nice shade range (45); left no dry flakes anywhere. Honestly, Im sick of all the matte! We need something on the other side of the oily spectrum. FINALLY, something for us dry skinned faces! Vegan, contains natural oils/vitamins at a great value. Powder over if you do want more of a matte look but w/o the cakey dryness. May be too much for overly oily skin, especially on t-zone. But you could apply elsewhere (cheekbones, jawline, temples, etc.) for a contoured glow. Liquid formula blends like bb/cc moisturizer. So, one layer is about minimal coverage. Did cover my freckles/blemishes well. But as I was blending some seemed to just wipe off. Either my beauty blender sucks or I was pressing too hard. For more coverage you really gots to layer this on. Fortunately, it builds well without turning into a grease mask. Ended up patting on and blending with my fingers then lightly w blender. I like very much this (as stated) natural coverage. Its adjustable depending on the look youre going for. Stayed on for at least six hours (in heat) and only because I washed it off. Hardly any transfer. In fact, took a few washes to completely remove, which I find unusual with a dewy foundation as they norm slide right off. No breakouts so far. Only con, for me personally, that the shade (Neutral Buff) is too yellow for my pale freckley complexion (I wasnt shade matched as this was received complimentary for testing). I can still use it but, with 45 shades, next time Ill grab another. Highly recommend, especially if you struggle with dry skin and are tired of drying foundations. Ill buy again; next time though another shade. I received this product complementary for testing purposes. However, has no effect on my honest review. "I have this in Shell 01 which is great for my NC 15 skin. I bought an expensive one last week and will be returning it as it doesnt compare to this one. This powder foundation WILL give you descent coverage if you use the sponge included. A brush will not get you any coverage and you will be disappointed. I usually never use the sponge, but you need towith this one. I conceal a few spots first and tinted moisturizer and make sure i allow the moisturizer to dry first or it will oxidize. it does oxidize a tad but not like the super expensive one I purchased. This is NOT CAKEY (Like the expensive one) and made my skin look better as the day went on. At first, you might think it's too powdery, but quickly it melts into your skin. Stayed put and matte all day. I JUST LOVE THIS. I used it over foundation, but it works better in my opinion over a lighter tinted moisturizer. The expensive one I purchased really emphasized my pores, which is a no no for me.....THAT is when I realized how great this powder is. Plus no bismuth (I'm talking to you MAC) so no breakouts.
