Satin Matte Foundation by Alima Pure

"Gotta say it, I did not think I'd ever like a loose powder foundation. Liquids and creams look too heavy on me, I feel like people look at my makup and not at me because it looks so fake if I wear anything but powder. I've been using pressed powders for years and could never find a good match. The closest I've ever gotten was Clinique's Almost Powder in Fair. It was a decent match, but not spot on. I've started "cleaning out" my makeup bag, slowly replacing products that have questionable ingredients with ones that are more safe and natural and I ran across this brand in a blog somewhere if I remember right. I was apprehensive, I had always considered loose powders to be messy and lacking in the coverage department, but I gave it a shot and boy am I glad that I did. I went with Beige 1 because at the time I thought it was the closest match out of the four in my sample kit, but I'm questioning that right now. It isn't so off that it's highly noticeable, but I'm particular about having a foundation that matches my skin tone so next time I'll try something else. Their sample kits are wonderful and you get enough foundation in each sample to last you a few days, I just jumped the gun. Anyway, this powder is amazing. So light, but so buildable. I can go eight hours or more without needing to touch up the oil slick that forms on my nose/forehead with other foundations. By itself, I'll get a little shine but nothing that I'm concerned about, but paired with the Primer Powder the shine is barely noticeable. I don't find myself checking my makeup every time I pass a mirror now, more like looking on in awe at how good it still looks. This foundation is very easy to touch up at the end of the day if you're going out. It doesn't get the caked on look that I've experienced with other foundations when I try to touch them up. I have rather large pores on and around my nose and I don't feel that this settles into them or any lines unless I apply it too heavily, but if it does happen it will easily buff out. It gives you a natural, believable look and you won't even know that it's there. If the foundation alone can't cover a spot, give the concealer and/or one of the color balancing powders a go, they're marvelous too and great for spot covering so that you're not applying more foundation than necessary. Seriously, five stars aren't enough. * « less" - alimapure.com user

Traceless Soft Matte Foundation by Tom Ford

"I’ve been really impressed with this foundation!! I was a bit wary before trying it since it’s listed as being “medium to full coverage,” and I typically don’t like wearing foundation because it feels too heavy on my skin. This foundation goes on really light, but can easily be built up for fuller coverage; it almost feels like a liquid to powder because it goes on matte and isn’t oily on your skin. I love that a little bit goes a long way! Again, I don’t like wearing heavy foundations, so this one is perfect for just using a little bit to even out my skin tone and cover redness. And when it says “traceless” It really means it! Usually if I wear even the littlest bit of foundation or concealer my husband will notice, but I’ve been wearing this stuff for about two weeks now and my husband hasn’t said a thing! The color matches my skin perfectly and it wears beautifully, so even at the end of a hot summer day it isn’t melting off my face. It does pick up the dry skin on my nose, so a face primer might be useful if you have dry skin like me.I also love the twist to open bottle. It’s great that it’s an easy, one step open and close so there’s no risk of spilling and it’s easy to pump out the exact amount you need.I’ve tried lots of foundations, and I’ve always wondered why someone can’t just make a serum-like foundation that dries on the skin and stays in place, and now I’ve discovered that Tom Ford has done it! It’s definitely on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion. You definitely get a quality product for the price! Less" - Sephora user

Vitalumiere Aqua by Chanel

"I couldnt remember where I got my sample of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua broad spectrum spf 15. I looked into every subscription beauty box I receive, including Macys Beauty Box. I ended up at Macys finding this wonderful, life saving foundation or teint as its referred as on the sample. I read the 2nd review listed in this thread and everything she said, I totally agree. You only need a pea size to cover your entire face. After I applied this teint, I had to take a DOUBLE TAKE in the mirror. I'm 57, soon 58. Enlarged pores are my nightmare. Not only does this teint loom like my own skin, it totally blurred my pores. In 6 hours and counting, it has not oxidized, has not settled into fine lines and has not become oily. This base actually looks just like skin. I take great care of my skin and spend the bulk of my splurges on high end skin care. Most days, I dont even wear foundation or a base. I tend to stay with BB Creams or skin tints. Just to even things out. Usually after using powder and setting spray, I good. But, I really havent been satisfied with ANY Brands foundations or skin tints lately until I used my sample of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. My skin is dry so its imperative I use a base that continues to look dewy but not greasy as my day moves forward. This teint looks just as fresh at 8:00pm as it did at 2:00pm. My complexion is a medium/lightbw/neutral undertones. I can go warm or cool. My sample is spot on as far as matching my skin tone. The sample is 30 BEIGE. I'm here to order the full size. Ladies , if you have dry skin and always find your base setting into fine lines and pores, this teint ix for you! 110%!! Sure, its a bit more expensive than some, and even more so than probably what youre use to spending but, if youre like me and reviewer NO. 2, BUY THIS! You will not regret it. The shade range is broad enough, you should be able to match up. « less" - Macy's user

Perfectionist Serum Compact Makeup by Estée Lauder

"I’m a fan of Perfectionist Serum and Liquid Foundation. This is a light mousse creamy powder, no brush needed. Application over SPF provides buildable light to medium coverage and natural finish. Sturdy compact has a good mirror and divider for the thick sponge. Perfect for travel, easy to apply. Smooth, hydrating, feels barely there. Color match is so close to my skin I can’t tell I’m wearing it, and it’s the same liquid foundation shade I switched over to (N to C). My skin can be dry or combination depending on humidity, but I’ve gotten flawless all day wear. I use a light touch of bronzer powder instead of setting powder. Perfect update to my routine. Purchased a second compact for my travel bag. Another innovative texture and product from EL." - Nordstrom user

Renergie Lift Makeup Foundation SPF 20 by Lancôme

"Env: developmentI admit, I am young looking for my age, and normally do not purchase make up or skin care products for "lift" or anti-aging properties. But I left my foundation at home so while visiting my mother I borrowed her **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20. ****Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **is a 1.0 ounce bottle of foundation with sun protection level 20. It is in a heavy glass bottle not easily broken, with a small "pump" similar to those on hand lotions used for dispensing the make up.Priced at approximately $45.00 it may be considered very expensive, but the bottle really does last a long time. The **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **foundation comes in approximately 15 colors to choose from, each of the starting with the title "lifting." It is designed for normal to dry skin.It advertises itself as a having the ability to transform you skin instantly to even younger looking skin. Quote, The innovative Micro-LiftTM technology with Pure Vitamin E immediately smoothes skin resulting in an instant, lines virtually disappear. Skin radiates seamless beauty.***My Viewpoint: ***I have now been using my **Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **for several months. I probably would never have purchased this item for myself, but I also wear very little make up, such as some foundation, mascara and lipstick and I am out the door, especially at the price of $45.00. What was truly gratifying to me was after running around Dayton, Ohio all day long, and experiencing a rather stressfull day I stopped by my in laws (for some comfort and wine). My father in law said, "Wow!" Lisa you have always had beautiful skin, but you are absolutely glowing today," My mother in law wondered what I had done to my skin to make it look so smooth, soft and radiant. I actually had to think about it. Then I remembered! Now, to get that kind of reaction, I will definitely spend a lot more money on my foundation. Since a little goes a long way, and my skin looks healthy, why spend almost the same amount over the course of months buying bottle after bottle.**Lancome Renergie Lift Make Up SPF 20 **holds up well in the Houston heat.it goes on smooth and creamy and is very easy to remove also. I have used it all summer, and without any other sun protection product I have avoided sun burns and my skin at the end of the day still looks fresh and smooth. Although I have never had a problem with acne, sometimes I would get a break out here and there when switching make up and that did not happen to me with this one.5 Stars from this 40 something mom. I intend to grow old gracefully, but not fight it and if this can make my face look smooth and radiant then I will definitely keep buying it.Env: development Less" - viewpoints.com user

Tint du Soleil SPF30 Whipped Foundation by colorescience

Fresh Air Makeup Base by Estée Lauder

"I think spf in cosmetics causes me to break out and gives me milia so I try to avoid it whenever possible. I decided to try this foundation because it was one of the few I could find without spf. It still has the titanium dioxide which helps to shield the skin but does not have that heavy spf to it which I believe clogs my pores. The color of this foundation is beautiful. The linen beige is actually natural and not orange at all.Estee Lauder knows how to make natural skin tone shades. My skin feels so nice and smooth when Im wearing it also. Its very natural. Its not cakey or flaky which many cheap brands of foundation are. I think it seems to cover my pores better than some of the popular high end full coverage foundations I've tried. If I use alittle foundation primer first in the t zone area before applying this the pores disappear completely. I use a foundation brush to apply mine which really helps to blend it. Oh and it also washes off easily at the end of the day! Very important if you do not want to breakout.Overall Im very happy with my purchase and will be repurchasing most likely and discontinuing use of the other foundations I own. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="5183191712971304400-full" data-show="5183191712971304400-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user

Ultra Foundation Pro by FACE Atelier

"This foundation has the perfect level of coverage and has a moist dewy finish that does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. I use Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer with SPF 30 as my base moisturizer. I do not use loose or pressed powder and the make-up lasts all day! There is only one drawback - and it's very minor.....the pump take a very strong, firm finger to press it down. I would like to see a change in the level of difficulty in pressing the pump. I have to use my thumb to dispense a full measure of the product. :( Other that than, it's great! CRC is an excellent company and ships with speed and the product is packaged with excellence for no leaks or breakage. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user

Absolue Makeup Cream Foundation by Lancôme

"Bought this after reading the reviews. Two weeks before, exchanged my Teint Idole Ultra Wear. The color of my last jar was darker (and got darker as the day went on). Exchanged for much lighter color. Really liked the Teint Idole. I am 69 with dry skin. Was not told about Absolue Makeup even though I asked what my options were. Read the reviews and gave it a try. Love this make up. It is light, but covers well. Looks more natural than other foundations and brightens my skin with a dewey finish. My face feels moisturized until it is removed. Will be buying this again and again. " - Lancôme user

Liquid Mineral Foundation by youngblood

"This foundation is incredible. I don't usually like to wear liquid foundation on my face because by the end of the day it feels heavy. It may sound strange but my face feels dirty and I can't wait to wash my face to get it off. Not the case with this foundation! Though I was using a decent liquid mineral foundation from Arbonne, it did not hydrate my skin like the Youngblood foundation does. My skin feels very hydrated and smooth. Although I don't make a habit of it, I have gone to bed a few times without washing my face with this foundation on and I haven't had clogged pores or breakouts. This is the best foundation I have ever used! " - BeautyBridge.com user

Absolue Bx Radiant Replenishing Foundation by Lancôme

"I don't like to use foundation with sunscreen, so I had been using Teint Miracle but it filled every pore and even if I moisturized my face beforehand, it made my skin look dry. I realized that at 52 I need a foundation with a little more moisture. I tried this one and luckily the woman at the counter found my correct color; it makes my skin look stunning. I still need to be careful applying between the eyebrows--skin seems very dry there, but the color is perfect and my skin looks luminous and smooth wearing it. It's more expensive, but it looks really good on my skin. Just wish it didn't contain unnecessary sunscreen." - Macy's user

Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation by Maybelline

"I received this for free for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own! I am honestly so happy that I received this in a VoxBox because I was planning on purchasing it anyway. I am a huge fan of Maybelline and have been wanting to try out cushion foundation for a while. THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING. At first, I didn't really like the applicator that it comes with, but now that I've used it for a little, I understand that it really is the best way to apply the foundation. Instead of just patting it on the face (which can leave the mark of the applicator), I like to use a patting and almost rolling motion to use it. After using it that way, application was flawless. Typically, I've been using a damp beauty sponge too, to get in the harder to reach spots like near my nose and eyes. I would say it gives medium coverage, but you can easily build it up to full coverage and it still looks so natural and beautiful. I hate foundations that look cakey and like makeup! This one is so different because it lets your skin shine through and really just makes it look like your skin, but better! It gives a natural finish, definitely not too dewey like other cushion foundations, but not matte. I am using shade 20 in Classic Ivory and topped it with my Fit Me concealer in Light, which blended into the foundation like a dream. My favorite part about this foundation is how it feels because it feels like you have nothing on your skin, even to the touch! It is so light, but gives coverage! It could be used for everyday or built up for a night out, and is so easy to travel with! This is the best foundation and I highly, highly recommend it! Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation SPF 50 by L'Oreal

"I received the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation to try for free from Top Box Circle. I have to admit when I first saw that I was given the Ivory 10 that I thought that it would be too light for my skin. I also thought the small tube wouldn’t last very long. But boy was I wrong with both of my assumptions!I applied the product sometimes with my fingers and sometimes with a brush. Either way worked extremely well for me and blended into my skin for a natural look. I had even skin tones and the foundation didn’t cake and actually softened my fine lines. And it doesn’t take much of the product to achieve your natural look!I have extremely sensitive skin and this foundation was amazing. I didn’t develop any reaction to the foundation and the scent was not noticeable at all. I applied the foundation in the morning and tried applying it sometimes after I put on a morning cream and sometimes directly on the face with no moisturizer. I wanted to see if there were any issues with dryness. There was no noticeable difference and I loved how my skin remained hydrated throughout the whole day even if I didn’t apply a face cream beforehand. The colour ivory blended well with my skin tone and blended extremely well for an all day look. I liked how my skin looked more alive and had a nicer tone and glow than normal. It was very lightweight and I like how you can’t “feel” that you have foundation on at all.I would love it if the foundation had some sunscreen built right into it. Outside of this one wish this is definitely something that will be added to my makeup routine. Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint by Chanel

"This is very lightweight and goes on very smoothly. I find with this particular coverage you will need to work fast to rub it in as it dries quickly. This might cause streaking. I have very oily skin and surprisingly I think this is the best coverage I've ever used for it. It seems to dry up alot if the oil but doesn't leave me feeling dry or cause any dry patches afterwards. Definitely worth the money. I usually wear a light to medium coverage but had to go medium with this. I also had an Nordstrom's associate to match me in the store so that was helpful. The associate also matched it with a primer but I think it works best without primer. The primer seem to just lay on the skin and keep the fresh water tint adhering to the skin. If using the fresh water tint alone it attaches to the skin and stays put even on oily skin. Not really sure this is good anti aging but I'll sometimes switch between this and the other brand of foundation which is anti aging just so I still have that benefit. Less" - Nordstrom user

Moisture-Rich Radiance Sunscreen Fluid Makeup by Chanel

"Chanel's Vitalumiere foundation is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a fairly sheer, natural-looking foundation with a hint of dewiness. The formula itself is very thin, which sometimes makes blending tricky, but with a good foundation brush it's a fantastic, very wearable foundation. It doesn't have a strong fragrance to it and it doesn't oxidize on my skin. Although it has a dewy finish, it can be topped with loose powder for a more matte effect, and the powder helps it last longer. I have had issues with the foundation not lasting throughout an entire day. It seems that sometimes it seems to sink into the skin a little too much, and by the end of the day there's little to nothing left of it. If you need moderate to heavy coverage, this is NOT the foundation for you. It may also not be the best for oilier skin types, as it feels very moisturizing and does give the dewy look, but if you have drier skin and like lightweight, natural coverage, this is definitely a good choice. I keep Vitalumiere in my rotation for those "good skin" days when I don't need the mask effect, or for days when my skin feels a bit drier than usual. Especially for winter, it's a great choice! « less" - Fishpond.com.au user

Double Wear Light Stay-In-Place Makeup by Estée Lauder

"This foundation comes in a lightweight squeezy container, which is amazing for portability plus I find it less messy and wasteful than standard foundations. The foundation itself is creamy and not runny at all, but it spreads very evenly onto the face. It applies fabulously with a brush but I prefer to use fingers, as I feel this warms up the foundation a bit to help it blend. I blend out from the middle and it gives a glowy look at first but dries down to a natural, semi-matte finish. The coverage is amazing, it covers blemishes and redness so well - I'd say it covers just as well as the normal Double Wear, but with a different (less matte) finish. Because it's less matte, I find it more flattering on the slightly uneven texture of my skin. It gives an illusion of lovely smooth skin, but doesn't look like you're wearing heavy foundation. This is the best foundation I've found for combination skin, as it doesn't dry out or cause flakiness on the drier parts of my face, but it also controls oil really well on the shinier parts. I work full time and also attend evening classes, so I can personally testify that this lasts over 16 hours (!) on me without a primer or setting powder. I'm really particular about my base makeup looking good as I think it makes a huge difference, and this foundation even seemed to make my blusher last longer. I wore this foundation to my wedding about 18 months ago, and it lasted even in heat exceeding 40 degrees! It also photographed beautifully - even in the un-retouched photos from family and friends, my face looked airbrushed! My skin really isn't that great naturally, so this is a LIFESAVER. I'm a total foundation addict and have tried most of the high end brands, but this wins every time. Thanks Estee Lauder, this is absolutely my favourite product! Please bring out more shades though, like you have done for Double Wear - as a pale warm-toned girl, shade 1.0 is a little too dark and pinky for me in the winter. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="3928115401085027846-full" data-show="3928115401085027846-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user

Creme Smooth Foundation by Laura Mercier

"1st I'm very impressed that the Flawless Face Founder actually found my perfect shade. For me that's 75% of the battle.***Shade - Honey Beige / My skin is Light to Medium with Golden undertones (darker than light, lighter than medium#***2nd When taking the Cream Smooth out of the jar, it felt very thick, but it went on nice and smooth - I didn't expect that at all.3rd Application - I used my fingers and there was nothing to it. Even though it was blending into my skin very nicely, it was covering everything I needed covered! I put a couple of extra layers over my Rosacea & brown spots, and they disappeared! I have tried EVERYTHING from High end to drug store, NOTHING has done that! And you would never guess that I used more than 1 layer. #That's WITHOUT concealer!)3rd It's not cakey at all. I love the Natural Dewy - but not Oily - finish. My skin looks naturally beautiful...I didn't think that would ever be possible again.4th This is my Review after 1 application, so I can't speak for it's staying power or how I'll feel a week or 2 from now. Hopefully I'll be able to update this review.5th Definitely worth the price. You get a full ounce! I was afraid it was going to be a smaller amount of product. A little goes a long way.HINT: I hate when the seal is covered with product, so I put the jar on top my clothes dryer to vibrate the product down flat & deeper into the jar.I can't stop looking in the mirror! « less" - lauramercier.com user

Country Mist Liquid Makeup Foundation by Estée Lauder

"Country Mist is the first makeup I have tried that comes close to E.L.'s Enlighten that was discontinued about 5 yrs ago. It has a light, natural coverage that does not crease or become dry. It will be my luck Country Mist will go next now that I have finally found a foundation that works for me.I have fair skin with a touch of pink undertones, over 55 with no wrinkles. I love the moist, dewy look, leaves my skin feeling good all day.The darker Country Mist color works perfectly. All other Estee Lauder colors are made for yellow or orange tones. Nothing else E.L. has blends with my skin. There are still a few of us who need light neutral colors with a hint of pink, Estee Lauder, please. The fragrance is that of E.L's original EsteDerm moisturizer lotion and cream which I started using at age 17. Of course, that was discontinued in the late 90's.I love the light, elegant fragrance. The price is wonderful for us retired folks. I highly recommend Country Mist Liquid Makeup if you have normal to dry gracefully aging skin. Please do not discontinue Country Mist now that I have finally found it. « less" - Estée Lauder user

Radiant Fluid Foundation by Cle de Peau Beaute

"I love, love, love this foundation. I wasn't a fan of the concealer, but this foundation is awesome. Pros: -Super natural, life-like skin. I would say the finish is satin and it feels like NOTHING on your skin because of its liquid format. There is no powdery finish to this foundation, nor is it overly luminous to emphasize every texture on your skin. It simply is like skin. I powder my T-zone and my smile lines and I usually get shiny by early afternoon, but that did not happen with this. I looked immaculate still by the evening. -Comes in a pump! Easy to dispense! -No heavy fragrance. There is a slight scent, but you can't smell it too much. This is a big thing for me, because the La Mer foundation was so strong in scent that I hated it. -Comes in a cream format too for those who want more coverage Cons: -The price. I know, I know, I know. It's so "up there" and so ridiculous, but I haven't had a good foundation like this for a long time, even compared to Giorgio Armani or La Mer. This one really is worth it. -Narrow color range. The color selection is poor (where are the darker shades for WOC?) I have NC20 cool-yellow skin tone with olive undertones, and I bought O10. When I applied it to my face, it looked great, but was a little light around my forehead, because I have a naturally more tan forehead (NC25). After about 2 minutes though, it adjusted to my skintone and looked perfect. I know it's odd, but it did. When I looked at my hand where I had put the foundation, it looked pink! It's very odd, but it matches my face, but seems to adjust to every surface it touches. I would recommend everyone to try it out if you have a Nordstrom near you. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

Line Smoothing Liquid Makeup by Almay

"I just love this stuff. Bought on vacation as I needed something. It is very natural looking, does not feel like a foundation, more like a tinted moisturizer but dries with a silky velvet texture. I do not need powder over this to set it; it sets and dries on its own (hate powder) and lasts all day long. I usually use a TM and am finding those to be too thick these days and goopy. This provides just enough coverage to make me feel "done". For those with dry skin that want a light to medium coverage - doubt it will work with oily skin. Only bad thing I can say (and I have tried so many foundations - hated them all), is that the bottle cap is horrible. Wish it came in a tube or pump to keep it sanitary and not spill. This is the "old style" glass packaging for a foundation, and its a "new style" skin finish style foundation so Almay needs to get with the program. Also has a light smell and wish it had no smell but it is not too overpowering. If this continues to work, I will be thrilled as I am now spending $55 on the same amount of foundation (high end stuff) and this is nicer, better overall color, finish, texture, etc. « less" - drugstore.com user

Re-Nutriv Ultra Radiance Makeup SPF 15 by Estée Lauder

"I absolutely 😍 this foundation. I have been using it for a few months now and I swear it made my skin feel and look better. It is a pricier foundation, but totally worth every penny in my opinion. You do not need to use a lot of it and one bottle lasted me 3 1/2 months. I recently ran out so I have to wait until Thursday to get a new bottle, so I am using some Channel foundation I had. I used to think Channel was the holy grail of make-up, but the Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv is close to perfect as foundation can get. It does not settle into lines, it stays on all day and you can not feel it on at all. Another plus I noticed on my skin a month after using was how my skin became more radiant looking. I also noticed that fine lines around my eye and mouth area were reduced by at least 50%. Yet, another plus are how my cheeks do not have a bumpy appearance to them, because the foundation does not settle on the skin in a cake-like way. I wear the pebble color and apply it with a moist make-up sponge. I found it is a little less expensive to get it online. Estée Lauder online also has some pretty nice make-up sets you can purchase at a discounted price. I Includes my picture that I took with my phones camera a couple weeks ago. I did not use any filters to enhance my face in any way, just facing the sun. This picture was taken after wearing the foundation for 6 hours on my face with no re-apply. Less" - esteelauder.ch user

Extra Tinted Moisturizing Balm SPF 25 by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I really struggled with making yet another foundation purchase after trying numerous products over the years. I am completely thrilled with the results. At 54 years I have some noticeable changes to my skin: fine lines, redness, hyper pigmentation from the sun and an overall loss of glow- this product was amazing and I truly mean that. It provided light to medium coverage (I applied with a damp, good quality sponge# and evened out my skin tone without settling into a single fine line. There is absolutely no powdery, cakey, or gloppy cream finish- no exaggeration of lines/wrinkles. Instead my skin looks truly fresh and dewy- not shiny; no unrealistic glittery components in the finish- just bright, youthful looking skin. I know I sound like a commercial for this product but I'm writing with passion for all of you, who- like me- thought I could never feel comfortable in my own skin again. I have some areas of redness in the creases of my nose which require more coverage- for that I used the BB foundation stick #also applied with a damp, good quality sponge# for beautiful coverage. These two products combined gave me a light, dewy complexion all over #from the moisturizing balm# and beautiful coverage of my redness -precisely and ONLY where needed #from the foundation stick#. The two products blended together beautifully- no kidding, seamlessly. I was also concerned about getting a good color match shopping online. As a young woman my complexion was very fair #almost porcelain) with age and sun exposure it has darkened substantially in some areas. Finding a good match has been impossible. The Light to Medium Tinted Moisturizing Balm was perfect- how it works across the multiple shades of my skin- I don't understand- but it does! It is worth every penny- it takes just a small amount to get my whole face, neck, deco looking beautiful without a trace of looking like I'm wearing makeup. For the foundation stick I took a chance and tried Sand. Again perfect! Most foundations I have tried made red areas look even redder and still didn't cover and made the rest of my complexion too orange. These two products cooled down my complexion. I am so happy I tried these products! I am a Bobbi Brown convert. I once again have the lovely complexion of my past- and am getting compliments once again. Try it, if it somehow does not work for you return it- taking a chance was a gift to myself. I have such confidence now- especially in bright daylight- nothing to hide anymore! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="3151377659253191168-full" data-show="3151377659253191168-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - bobbibrowncosmetics.com user

Hydra Touch Powder Foundation by NYX Professional Makeup

"This powder is so good for my dry skin. Almost so soft that it doesn't feel like most powders! My only complaint is, I bought the lightest shade, and it looks like my shade in the pan, but on my face its still just a bit too deep for my liking. Please make an even paler shade, for us pale skin girls! We need setting powder too :) (same goes for deep skin girls-- we need even more shade options). Despite being a bit too deep, I'm in love with this power's formula. Its the ONLY powder I've tried, that doesn't make my super dry skin look like a cracked, cakey desert. If you have dry skin, please try this out! You'll be glad you did :) If you're super pale like me though, choose the shade lighter than you think you need, because it looks darker once applied over foundation. This powder is great for setting foundation and concealer, because if you go in with a light application, it doesn't take away all of your skin's dewiness, but it somehow still sets it completely so it won't budge. Helps my concealer not crease, too. Please keep making this powder, NYX, but consider making another pale shade (basically true white would be good) and more deep shades :) This is one of my favorite NYX products, along with their Gotcha Covered Concealer, Butter Gloss, Taupe blush (used as a contour powder), Epic Ink Liquid Eyeliner, and Dewy setting spray. Less" - nyxcosmetics.com user

Prevage Anti Aging Foundation by Elizabeth Arden

"I have serious skin problems and usually react to just about everything. This foundation went on like silk, an absolute dream, the texture is lightweight and the coverage was exceptionally good for my redness (as it is buildable). I have dry patches and this just quenched those areas and made me look dewy. I feel radiant and I will not be returning to any other products I have used, this is for me, plus it protects from the suns dangers and has incredible ingredients. I usually use high intensity camouflage make-up such as Dermablend by Vichy and this has knocked it out of the park. I honestly cannot say enough. I have felt some soothing to my face after just one day and cannot wait to see more. Brilliant! I would pay the full price for this, it also out does Yves Saint Laurents famous foundation. Honestly, give it a go! If it doesn't cover first time, build it a little with a blotting technique, you will love it. Less" - very.co.uk user

Ultra Foundation by FACE Atelier

"Face Atelier is my favorite cosmetic line on the market. Their Face Finish is a product I really love, especially over my Atelier foundation. I have combination skin. I'm not fond of matte foundation. Since Face Atelier foundation is semi-matte, I spray this Face Finish as it gives me a moist finish. It dries beautifully and leaves a very light glow. Since Southern CA has a dry climate, I like to take a small bottle of the Face Finish with me as a refreshing spray. I love that it does not contain alcohol. I also use this spray while applying makeup to give it a moist base. If you are very oily, this product wouldn't be appropriate. Atelier has a matte spray. I know it's expensive, but worth every penny. I'm on my second bottle. " - camerareadycosmetics.com user

Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation SPF 20 by Shiseido

"I never write foundation reviews, because I never like one enough. I'm not some die-hard Shiseido fan either; I keep trying different foundations as I'm a cosmetic junkie. And I've tried many, from drugstore to high-end (Armani, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, YSL, etc.) to Japanese & Korean brands. I almost never empty a bottle. Yet, this is currently the first foundation I keep going back to - when I want to look good and healthy. It's not a full coverage foundation, so those with more skin issues/who like full coverage may not find this covers enough. This foundation has a light, watery consistency and dewy finish - almost like you're not wearing makeup. I like natural makeup, so that's what I'm looking for, and 1 push with this pump is almost too much (I feel like I'm wasting the product - but for a normal person it's probably a good amount). I buff it out with a dense brush, like one from Artis or Shiseido, and it doesn't sit in my pores - it looks very smooth. If you want to know how natural it looks: My dermatologist had to ask if I'm wearing any makeup. I use it with Honest Beauty Everything Primer (pore-blurring ones with silica didn't work too well); that seems to work best so far. I tried it with one of the Japanese Shiseido primers, and oddly enough, it didn't seem as compatible. I'm an Asian with not too much yellow undertone, MAC NC20/021 in Dior, and N2 works well. At the end of the day my nose gets slightly shiny, but nothing a sheet of tissue/blotting paper can't fix. I'd take that over dryness any day. My cheeks tend to be on the slightly dry side, so this may not be best fit for oily skin. The only fault I find with this foundation is that it has slight fragrance - it's a known skin irritant, and I could have done without. (It's not too overpowering.) Other than that, if I were having my wedding today, this would be the foundation I'd wear. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

Compact Makeup Powder Foundation by chantecaille

"Normally I don't write reviews, just read them and take them for what they are. Not one product will work across the board for everyone based on reviews. That said - this product is amazing. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on products only to toss away or come to find out I fell for the marketing hype yet again. Thankfully I have the job that allows for that but let's be real - no one can blow through money like that in search of a decent foundation for very long.I have skin that produces more oil than most oil rigs in my T zone and normal in the rest. Blotting papers are my constant companions. I also have pores the size of manhole covers on my nose and cheeks. Covering those takes spackle and patience - neither of which I have nor desire to use. My skin is flat, redness, just blah. Like beige paint - just blah. I needed something that would cover the redness, even out my skin tone, if lucky, maybe save me a blotting session every 30 minutes, and not make me look like I had troweled on foundation. I am blemish free and not trying to conceal anything so I'm lucky in that respect. I don't like liquid foundations or the gloopy feeling from same. That being said - I purchased this. I thought the price was a bit high but figured what the heck - I could always return it. I've learned to start doing that - my bank account thanks me. I used to use another brand of compact foundation which I loved for color match - but they no longer make. I'm a medium beige - cool to neutral undertones. Most compact foundations make me look jaundiced or washed out / pale / gothic #not the look I'm going for#. This one is amazing.I started out with Dune - but it had a chalky cast to it. I went to return it and the clerk suggested camel. In the compact it looked like it had a hint of a yellow hue - I thought ok fine - I'll try it for a day - see ya tomorrow for a return. Wow - I was so wrong. This is a perfect match. It's not a tan in a compact - but looks like I had a bit of a healthy tan / glowI've had several compliments today on how rested and healthy I look. That I have a glow to me, your face looks so amazing, etc. Never heard any of that in the past 46 years. Mind you - I empty a bottle of wine at night - so I'm not exactly the vision of healthy lifestyles. Also just returned from a business trip so dealing with jetlag and dehydration from flying. All things that you would expect would make you look busted which I normally do but with this on my face - like none of it ever happened. This stuff is just amazing. I does control oil - I do have to blot - but not nearly as much - I'd say maybe 3 times a day as opposed to every hour. Your skin has a glow - not glitter, not some fake shine - but just a healthy, stress free, well rested glow. However they pull that off is amazing.I moisturize, put on a primer and then brush this over my face with a powder brush. I use the sponge to press in the product in a few areas. I find that either dragging the sponge or buffing the product in does not work for me. Simply sweeping over and pressing in here and there gives me a close to flawless finish #even helps minimize my manhole sized pores - which is a miracle in of itself# I do a touch up around the nose area mid afternoon and that's it - the stuff lasts all day.I strongly suggest you try this. Yes it's expensive, yes the color shades are not as many as other lines, but something in this stuff actually works and does make you look natural, makeup free, without redness, perfect skin, well rested, etc. I can't say enough good things about this. The truly funny part - I was researching for yet another powder compact foundation, and this stuck out to me since the package resembled the compact I had used. I had never heard of this brand before, they have a small counter, nothing really mainstream like brands.Hands down - this one is a keeper. « less" - Nordstrom user

Perfecting Cushion by sulwhasoo

"This is my first Sulwhasoo prodcut. I purchased this in #25. I have dry, sensitive skin that is on the lighter side but with yellow undertones. Compared to Iope's Air Cushion, this was a better match for my undertone. You get everything out of this cushion compact - moisturizing, long lasting, no makeup feel, sun protection, buildable coverage, and skin benefiting ingredients. Most Korean cushion compacts leave you with the dewy look making most people feel very oily (especially if you live in humid weather). With my dry skin, my face feels moisturized all day even with 1 layer of coverage not to mention it stays on until I wash it off at bedtime. It doesn't break out my skin and although I get the dewy look, it looks like natural healthy skin. I absolutely love this prodct and recommend it for anyone that has dry, sensitive skin that goes for that natural no makeup look. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-932579294496356088-full" data-show="-932579294496356088-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

Studio Tech by MAC

"I love love love this foundation! I have found that it applies best with a flat foundation brush that has been sprayed with fix plus spray its the best application method to not waste as much product. As long as you use a water based primer you should be good. I buff it out with a fluffy brush and set it with studio fix powder I don't have any issues with caking, creasing, or settling in fine lines and sliding off when I sweat. At the end of the day it comes off easily with mi-cellar water and has not caused any acne for me, If you have dry skin I'd recommend moisturizing before you apply it it is a cream foundation but it is not as wet as you would think. The finish is a beautiful natural medium coverage that is dewy or matte depending on the products you use with it. I was color matched in the store and it took less than five minutes Crystal knew what she was doing I was so amazed! It does not have a lingering scent once applied and does not feel heavy at all on skin. My shade is NC30 as I'm tan right now but I normally wear NC25 or 27 I do have acne scars to cover and it does a good job on its own, if I have dark circles I still use concealer with this, I think it could transfer but for the most part it's not an issue if you set it. Less" - Macy's user

The Etherealist Skin Illuminating Foundation by Kevyn Aucoin

"While this is quite fluid and sheer, it offers excellent coverage. It is not full coverage, but just enough to even out skin tone. You can build layers for more coverage without it appearing too heavy. I was quite satisfied with the results from only 2 pumps warmed on the hand. I added a wee bit more to the under eye area for more coverage under my eyes. While I prefer the coverage of the creamy foundation from Dolce & Gabbana, Kevyn Aucoin feels much lighter on the skin in comparison. I will try adding a second layer on problem areas that need more coverage. I would rather not use the D&B foundation because it is much too heavy for summer, and it tends to crease and appear oily as the hours pass. I do not have oily skin, I have dryer skin, so I was surprised by this.Kevyn Aucoin's foundation did not show any creasing for several hours and it did not seem to dry out the skin. The finish is fresh in appearance. There was slight creasing at the end of the night where it is expected, such as laugh lines and wrinkles around the eye area, but nothing drastic.People with dry to very dry skin need to moisturize well before applying this. I would try to avoid using any product that is overly drying because this product is not moisturizing. I am going to try using this foundation without setting powder next time. I feel the Kat Von D contour kit may have caused some flaking later in the evening. This foundation pairs well with Lancôme MAQUICOMPLET - Complete Coverage Concealer. Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer is a lovely compliment to the finish of this foundation. My teen daughter commented on how great my makeup still looks after being on for so long. She said the foundation seems to be a better match for my skin than the Dolce & Gabbana.I was very surprised with how well the foundation color blended with my own skin. I guessed which number would work for me based on reviews. This product is not available at my local Sephora, so I had to "just go for it" online.I have medium to light skin with pink/neutral undertones. It's hard to say because sometimes I appear more on the yellow side. I always go with something neutral for having both colors in my skin.I purchased this in #5, but I might have needed a #6.Although the #5 still worked quite well, it was slightly lighter compared to my neck and chest skin. I still have some color from summer. As winter approaches, it is likely that will fade. #5 will remain my winter color until I get a proper match at a Sephora makeup counter. « less" - Sephora user

Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation by Clarins

"I purchased this foundation after hearing positive reviews about it, and I must say I'm not disappointed in the slightest. The foundation comes in a glass, pump bottle, it is a little heavy, but don't let that put you off! The pump is great as it is really precise and you can control exactly how much you want dispensed, so no fear of wasting any! The bottle looks very chic and glamorous as well with the gold lid, so no embarrassment when you pull it out of your makeup bag in public! The foundation itself has quite a thin consistency, yet it will still manage to cover imperfections and evens out skin tone to a uniform colour, giving a medium finish. It feels very lightweight on the skin and you don't get the heavy, mask feeling that a lot of foundations give. It has a fresh watermelon scent, which is quite pleasant, but only lasts while you're applying the foundation, it fades within seconds, so no lingering smells if you don't like watermelons! The finish is a cross between dewy and matte, it's a very difficult appearance to describe, but I have combination skin, and it manages to moisturise the dry areas, as well as stopping any oily areas looking shiny. It is oil free, and has pretty good lasting power- after a day's wear it still looks fresh, and when I remove my makeup in the evening after applying it in the morning, there is most definitely foundation coming off on my cotton pad, so I know it has lasted throughout the day and hasn't faded away. Clarins say it replicates real skin and this is a high claim, but I think it does a fair job. As long as you blend well, the foundation sinks into your skin without any obvious traces that you're wearing it. All in all, a really fantastic foundation, provides natural, medium coverage, and not only that, but several people have commented on how lovely my skin looks. I can 100% see myself repurchasing his when my current bottle runs out. Am I impressed? YES! A foundation which really does what it says it will! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="255065517289182435-full" data-show="255065517289182435-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Escentual user

True Radiance Foundation SPF 15 by Clarins

"As a forty-something with slightly dry skin I usually avoid foundation as I've always thought it makes me look older and wrinklier than I am without it! My skin is becoming a little uneven and duller as I am dragged screaming into my forties and a Clarins Consultant recommended I try this new product. The colour match was absolutely perfect and the makeup instantly evens out and perks up my complexion. I am left with a lovely, dewy glow which lasts all day and it also provides additional moisturising without it sliding around my face. It provides quite light coverage and looks natural which I really like. It makes my skin look better without looking heavily made up and it doesn't sit in creases. I never thought I'd rate a foundation having hated every one I've tried prior to this but I have to say I'm definitely a fan. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="3207804311465574760-full" data-show="3207804311465574760-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Debenhams user

Matte Perfection Powder Foundation by Sephora Collection

"I am 44 years old and am getting fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. It is a big struggle to find foundation that doesn't settle into those lines. I don't think it is even possible! With that being said, I love this foundation. I used to use the Sephora Mineral Foundation in the compact, but when they discontinued it, I had to find something else. I tried the Sephora Mattifying, but it has parabens and it really irritated my eyes. This foundation is full coverage with the first swipe of the foam application disk. It stays on longer if you use primer. I used to use the Sephora Perfecting Ultra-smoothing Luminous Primer, but of course they discontinued this too! I bought the new Sephora Beauty Amplifier After Glow Primer and Luminizer and it is working well. I preferred the texture of the former, but what can you do? The new formula is kind of sticky, but it does go on smoothly. I have been using these products together for two weeks and my skin is still clear of blemishes. My makeup stays perfect ALL DAY (7am-11pm) with no shine, no touch-ups needed and no need for added concealer! It does settle into my fine lines a bit, but I don't think that any foundation won't do it! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-5578639828205686753-full" data-show="-5578639828205686753-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Lift Lumiere Firming And Smoothing Sunscreen Fluid by Chanel

"I am always open to finding the "something better" when it comes to skin care and makeup. I am not a spring chicken anymore, but I still have a lot of enthusiasm and zest for life. I want my makeup to make the best of what I have (or...what I have left :-) )CHANEL's LIFT LUMIERE is that kind of find. I am very picky about what I put on my face, and particularly fussing about foundation, which makes or breaks your overall look. I have very dry skin and aging doesn't improve that! This foundation is marvelous. It is a creamy, lotion formula and it goes on smoothly and covers beautifully. You can apply a thin coat first, then assess the overall look, and apply more where you might need it. For me, it's usually under eyes and along the sides of my nose, which took a lot of sun damage while I grew up on the beach. That sun damage creates little spots of darker color there. Lift Lumiere can be layered and built upon so you can really cover those pesky areas that need more. What I like BEST about LIFT LUMIERE is that it just does not sink into my tiny wrinkles and crevices; It magically blends them down and does not gather into them. Amazing.I highly recommend this foundation: delicious texture, beautiful coverage. « less" - Nordstrom user

Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20 by Elizabeth Arden

"I have been useing color#3 for years. I love how I can control how much that I need to use, and how fast that I can apply this incredible powdered foundation instead of the liquid foundation mess. I use it as a concealer, foundation, and powder all in one with 2 different size brushes, It makes my skin look, soft, smooth, luminus, and it stays on for 24 hours with only one touch up in my t-zone area, I have combination/dry skin. It holds up great in the hot weather. Color #3 does have a slight orange look on my face, so I also brush a very small amount of color #2 over it to balance the color. I wish that they would also come out with this product in a pressed compact form to carry in my purse without the shaver. I love the shaver, but this compact would fit better in a purse. I tried lancome dual finish and the formula didn't compare and had a strong perfume smell, and my powdered blush didn't apply as smooth, it went on blotchy. I also tried clarins everlasting and the formula just isn't the same. Less" - elizabetharden.com user

Healthy Mix Foundation by Bourjois

"I struggle with foundations for a few reasons. I have very pale skin, very dry skin (I suffer from chronic urticaria, and psoriasis) as well as a bit of peach fuzz.In general, I think it’s got great coverage, and even building it up for more coverage doesn’t feel thick, it’s moisturising (so good for dry skin), it smells amazing, it gives a nice glow (I’m not sure how this would be for oily skin), and it isn’t crumbly or cakey (although my peach fuzz is so fine it’s invisible, drier foundations have made it more obvious in the past, but I have had no issue with this at all).My skin leans towards a slightly more pinkish tone (which I did not know until after ignoring a review stating 51 Light Vanilla was too yellow, thinking it was not relevant to me, and I had to buy another bottle), and 50 Rose Ivory was just as pale but also a perfect pinkish tone. I felt it was difficult to decipher the right shade online, a huge issue for me being so pale, so I hope this helps someone find the right shade! « less" - feelunique.com user

Teint Miracle Bare Skin Foundation by Lancôme

"I have acne scars, and huge pores on my cheeks but this really makes me look as though I've perfect, glowing skin. The coverage can be a sheer or as full as needed. And amazingly enough, the need for a concealer for my acne scars is COMPLETELY unnecessary. Seriously: my skin is far from perfection, but this helps me to fake it, and naturally so. Plus, you can still see MY skin, I don't feel as though I've a caked on veil on my face, if anything a sheer wash of radiance. Additionally I've oily skin, so the ultra moisturizing benefits of this foundation are good, but do cause me to have shine, however no more than with any other foundations I've tried in the past. I will try a primer to minimize the problem. Also, although it does the best job I've ever experienced at minimizing the look of pores, they are still not completely concealed, so definitely a primer is a must for this. A sheer powder over it would do well to benefit the overall look of the skin, although if the skin does not suffer too much from shine, I suggest to veto it, as there really is a great dewy look to be benefited from without a finishing powder. It's scentless, and perfect for sensitive skin, I don't break out from this, if anything I feel I'm doing myself and my skin a huge favor. I reckon for girls with dry skin, or normal skin the moisturizing benefits of this foundation are absolutely wonderful. It light, beautiful, natural perfection. I suppose I've just a single complaint, or more really, a regret: as others have stated, the colors do seem to be too yellow. I wear 0n, as its the closest match but I feel the colors could cater more to other undertones. I also bought 1n at the same time to see if it would be preferable for me, but its a tad too dark for now, although definitely much less yellow. I also had to purchase and wait directly from Lancome. I do wish sephora would sell the darker hues, have they forgotten our tan, olive complexions, and the deeper ones? ;) Really, all women should have the benefit of trying this at sephora, as its most convenient, and most catering to our desires for prompt satisfaction for all beauty needs. Don't even hesitate to try this. In all honesty, I HATE wearing makeup. I love it, but hate to wear it. In the past I've always strayed away from and been afraid of the masked look or super unnatural airbrushed look most liquid foundations seem to always have. So instead I leaned towards BE and also Philosophy's airbrushed mineral foundation, and fresh's face luster, hoping to achieve naturally beautiful looking skin. I was severely discontented with the results of all of those, I sought more coverage, more radiance, more freedom in my makeup. This foundation is perfect for me, because it does all of that, and makes me feel as though I haven't any secrets to hide about my skin, only secrets about how I get it to look so beautiful. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-2069030529602826637-full" data-show="-2069030529602826637-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation by Shiseido

"It's been about 9-10 years since i've worn liquid foundation. I'm been stuck on mineral powders. I decided to wear liquid again about 3 months ago and been on the hunt for my HG foundation. I wanted flawless medium/full coverage yet a very natural semi-matte finish. Fyi, I have VERY dry skin. I've been researching about Sheseido and heard great reviews. My SNL uses the SPF Liquid Foundation. So I gave the Dual Balancing and the SPF Liquid foundations a shot. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE both of them. They are both HGs for me. They are thin in formula but gives great coverage and pretty moisturizing. They each have their plus points for me. I wear a I20 in the Dual Balancing and SP60 in the SPF Liquid. Fyi, I'm in between MAC NC25-30. Here's a list of foundations I've tried and the reasons they didn't work out for me. 1. MAC (Mineralize SPF Compact, Studio Tech Compact and Studio Select) - nc30 was too orange and nc25 was too light, accentuates my dry patches, breaks me out, makes my skin itches 2. Nar Sheer Glow - accentuates my dry patches, yellow/olive undertones are a bit strong for my light med pale skin 3. Revlon PhotoReady - It's ok, I just dont like the shimmers 4. MUFE HD - I like this foundation but not for a everyday wear 5. Mary Kay Illumious Wear - Too dewy for me <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-7684894688605727004-full" data-show="-7684894688605727004-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Super City Block BB Cushion Compact by Clinique

"I bought it in Moderately fair and was super worried about the color not matching me. When it arrived it was actually a lot darker in the compact than when you put it on your skin. It is super lightweight and easy to blend. The color I selected worked great for me. I wish they sold the sponges separately to be able to stock up on them because it is the best way to apply it. It's wonderful for traveling and a little goes a long way. The coverage is fantastic and the finish is a natural satin finish unlike other cushion compacts that have a dewy finish. I wouldn't recommend this as a "one and done" everyday kind of foundation or BB cream because you tend to look flat with just this on. What I mean by that is it looks a lot better with a full face of makeup because it is so full coverage! It looks absolutely stunning on the skin. I would also recommend using a pore filling primer with it just to smooth out your skin but using it without a primer works wonderfully too. This is by far my favorite cushion compact foundation and I love that it has SPF. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - clinique.com user

Balance-N-Brighten Baked Foundation by Laura Geller

"First, let me tell you that I purchased these products with my own money. I am a stay at home mom in my mid 40s, so this was a splurge for me. I watch youtube and found this bundle on lipgloss leslie's channel. As I grow older, not only am I having more skin issues, but I am also getting quite finicky with which products I will use. This is why I find it helpful to watch tutorials, informational programs, and read reviews to find good products. Let me tell you ladies, these are high quality products! I will review them one by one.The balance N brighten foundation: In my 30s I was a big fan of mineral foundations b/c they didn't irritate my sensitive skin. However; in my 40s I notice that these powder foundations really settle into fine lines and make me look even older. I found the balance and brighten to be medium coverage with good staying power over a clear primer. However; it was not full coverage as it did not cover my hyperpigmentation, so the next time I used it over a tinted gel. If you want more coverage I think you will like this product over a colored primer, or tinted moisturizer/gel. I also like the glowy dimension the balance and brighten added to my face. I want some luminosity and don't want my face to appear too matte & flat, but I don't have time every day to contour and highlight. I have tried luminous finish foundations in the past, but some of them make me look like I am having a hot flash...and that is not the look I am going for. The balance N brighten gave me a youthful flush in one easy to use step. It's great for an everyday glow.Retractable powder brush: is ok. I do like that you can move the barrel up or down to your preference. So put the brush all the way up for blush or setting powder. Only move it half way up if you want a denser brush for powder foundtion. I prefer a denser brush with more surface area for powder foundation, so I may put this one in my purse to use in a pinch, but probably won't use it very often.Cherry truffle blush N brighten: Wow, this is pigmentated! With one swipe of my brush I got too much product. So go lightly ladies; tap off your brush. If you get too much blush, just go over it again with the balance N brighten foundation and blend it out. The blush color payoff is good. The staying power is excellent. The cherry truffle color is lovely, especially for fall, and I think it will look nice on all skin tones.6 eye shadow palette: This is really why I bought the bundle. I am an eyeshadow junkie! As I am getting older I am focusing more on matte shadows, so I was exceited to see that LG has some shadows in matte finish. I have used many brands of eye shadows and these shadows are VERY high quality! They are smooth and buttery in texture and the color payoff is good. I really LOVE the colors in this little palette. It looks like a little box of chocolates, so it fits with the theme.Eyeshadow brush: was bent from packaging. I wet it with water and dried it on my counter, but the shape is still wonky and I cannot use it. Too bad b/c it look like a nice brush.Scultping lipstick in chocolate raspberry: Love it. I am more of a lipstain and gloss girl, but this lipstick is beautiful. It is a neutral berry, not too cool or warm. Gorgeous color. The packaging is deluxe! Love the magnetic closure. It feels like true luxury. I wold LOVE to see LG make a stain or color changing gloss in this packaging.Color drenched lip gloss in Cafe au lait: Love it too! It is a neutral melon color, goes with everything, or on top of everything. It smells divine! I can't quite place the smell...maybe a combo of vanilla, marshmallow, and chocolate. YUM!This set is incredible. This is my first time trying Laura Geller products and I am REALLY impressed! The quality of the makeup products is excellent!!! The presentaion with box was delicious! The brushes are just ok. If I could change anything I would like the eyeshadow palette to be slimmer. It would be easier to store and travel with. I think the compacts would benefit from a redesign also. I almost dropped the compact... « less" - QVC user

Hard Cover Glow Cushion by holika holika

"I admit, I bought it just because of the packaging, but honestly, I do not regret it!! The foundation itself is really nice. I have oily t-zone/sensitive/a bit dry on the contour of the face skin that is very pale with pink undertones. I bought the shade petal and it's perfect. The cushion's texture is nice: it's very light, I don't feel it on my face at all. It's not sticky compared to some other cushions I tried (like the Etude House ones), but still seems to be hydrating enough because the dry skin doesn't show up! I'd say it's a light/medium coverage that you can build-up a bit. It didn't make my face look/feel cakey.I like the cushion a lot, so I will buy another!! The only downside seems that there is no refills for the glow cushion, which is a bit of a downer... " - yesstyle.com user

Radiant Cream Foundation by Cle de Peau Beaute

"I ordered this from the Cle' de Peau website because they were offering a gift with purchase. I took a guess at the color and hoped for the best. First let me say that I have tried just about every high end foundation out there, even the one the retails for around (cough) $200. At 53, my skin is in pretty good shape, but I am beginning to see the problems that come along with age: a few "crinkles" around my mouth and enlarged pores around my nose. Even tho my skin is dry I find that I must powder in order to smooth over the pores and set my foundation, leaving my face looking like a cracked desert floor by the end of the day. I prefer fuller coverage due to melasma (forgot the sunscreen in Hawaii) and long lasting. The problem I have found with most foundations is they are either too thick and I look spackled (Baby Jane?), too thin and my skin drinks them up or they just sit on top waving "hey I have a face full of foundation look at my pores". I applied this foundation over the Cle' de Peau primer. The color 010 is a spot on match for my pale olive skin. It is, in fact, the best match I have ever found in a foundation. It is not too yellow, too orange or that "neutral" pink. I was surprised at how fluid this foundation is as I was expecting something thicker. It is a cream, but not putty. Note: thicker is not better when it comes to mature skin. I used two thin layers with a half a pea size for each and followed up with a little Cle' de Peau concealer on a couple of darker spots and light dusting of powder in my t-zone. Now for the real test-daylight. I grabbed my mirror and headed outside. Wha??? I think I heard the angels singing! My minor "crinkles" were nowhere to be seen. My skin not only didn't look dry, but actually had that "lit from within" look, which I had previously considered only an urban legend. Pores? What pores? My skin looked like skin, but so much better than my just woke up pillow creases on my face must have coffee skin. It covered, it matched, it glowed. I have at last found my HG. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum by philosophy

"I randomly tried this because when I swatched it on my hand the coverage was great and so was the color match! I am super porcelain pale and I like a neutral foundation. Most are too pink or too yellow but this is completely neutral on me. I wear shade 3. I have redness, hyper pigmentation & acne scars but this covers really well without looking super heavy or cakey. I use a regular foundation brush and a little goes a long way. It smells so wonderful & feels a bit cooling and soothing on the skin. It dries semi matte with a soft to touch finish. Also since it's winter I have been having horrible dryness around my chin and mouth plus my acne routine dries my skin out even more. I love that this foundation does not accentuate the dry patches or irritate my already existing acne issue. I believe this actually helps your skin while wearing it versus most foundations just cover & offer no benefit to your skin at all. This is amazing I hope it never gets discontinued! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation SPF 20 - PA+++ by Givenchy

"I got a sample of this product in the store couple days ago after reading amazing reviews about it. I have sampled nearly 15 foundations in the past 2 months or so and was about to settle for one that I was just okay with- Thought I'd give this one a try and got a sample, not expecting much (for reference, other foundations that have gotten amazing reviews have disappointed me in the past like MUFE) Today I wore the foundation out and went to the sephora store and asked the SA for recommendations on foundation The SA looked at me and said "I dont think you need much coverage since you have AMAZING skin" I told her that I was wearing foundation and she did a triple take like "WHAT? it looks like you have great skin and nothing on!" she asked me which foundation I was wearing and said that I should continue to wear what I was wearing! I was not wearing any primer or powder, just this foundation and it really had this very pretty, natural, smooth finish And it lasted a long time- It was still on in mint condition after I've been to the gym! I think my search for the perfect foundation is over now- I'm definitely sold on this one. Seriously, I haven't seen foundation look like this on my skin ever- Definitely HG worthy, AMAZING, long wearing foundation, with buildable coverage You can pile on layers and it will not look thick or cakey - AMAZING! FYI for reference: I have dry, pretty fair skin with some redness around the cheeks I'm usually the lightest or the second lightest shade for most foundations / tinted moisturizers / BB / CC and like to wear yellower foundation to cover the redness and about a half shade brighter. In other brands I am Stila fair, MUFE 117, Lancome Buff 2, NARS Gobi For Givenchy, the #4 beige was definitely too too dark on me #2 has a pink undertone and may accentuate my redness so I think I will be going with #1 (brighter shade) or #3 (probably exactly my skin tone if not slightly darker) <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Mattifying Powder Foundation by Burt's Bees

"I have this mattifying powder foundation in the shade almond. This shade is a bit light for my summer skin but it will be perfect for my skin tone the rest of the year. I have oily and sensitive skin and this foundation is long lasting and does not irritate my skin. I like a powder foundation when I want to give my skin a break and not use liquid foundation and this is perfect for that. The powder blends easily and gives a nice light to medium coverage that is not at all cakey or drying. The packaging is quite nice too I like that it's both pretty and recyclable. I like that there is a separate place for the applicator sponge and that it has holes in that part of the compact so the sponge can breathe and stay dry. The fact that it's all natural is a huge plus for me. I received this product for free for testing purposes but all opinions are my own. Less" - burtsbees.com user
