"serums, masks, lotions, anti-aging, youth-perfecing.. ARRGH all these cost $$$$ and your bedtime routine is 25 min long, no thank you. cosmedix C crystals are so efficient and effective- add a dab to whatever you spread on your face and, voila, get your free-radical, anti-aging, collagen boosting effect in one solution. I've been using cosemedix products for about 10 months and am really pleased. the C crystals are pricey, but compare to other C serums... and all you have to do is add it to your other creams, etc (I add it to my retinol pm cream), mush it up in the palm of your hand and you are good to go. I love the ease, potency, versatility and, yes, my pregnancy face (2 yrs later) is fading, and wrinkles are not definitely not increasing. I'll def keep buying! " - skinstore.com user

Perfect Setting Powder by Cover FX

"I was introduced to Coverfx products approximately 10 years ago. This product was made by specialists in the trade of helping people with scars; bad blemish issues such as tatoos acne etc... I have personally, been using all of these products for my own scar and blemish issues. The idea is that your able to apply the pre make up conditioning oil prior to applying the foundation. The conditioning oil makes my skin nice and soft. Often I will simply use this only when I dont feel like applying the makeup. However when I do choose to wear makeup I first apply the conditioning mineral oil to my face. It helps when you put the make up on afterwards. When you then apply the foundation you use the mineral powder very lightly over the foundation. Obviously a person with scars or serious blemish issues can then layer the foundation and any blended cover stick such as lavender or yellow to hide dark circles or redness on the face. It is because you are able to apply and layer these products that gives you a natural more youthful look without worrying about having to reapply and it is water resistant so go ahead and jump in a lake and be worry free of your makeup coming off your face. This product use to be available at Shoppers or other drugstores. But then Sephora bought the rights to these fantastic Coverfx products and I think it was a very smart move on their part. Coverfx is now and always will be the one and only product I will ever use. I would love to be able to purchase a coulple of items that I presently am in need of so I will go and do so right now. But first I give both Sephora and coverfx products a 5 star or 100% rating. Absolutely ingenius. I will be checking out the other Sephora products Im certain thy have many exclusive and eligant products for healthy face and body and the very best of the best products that are both helpful and look fantastic to the person who is using products from this wonderful company. Thank You Sephora. Sincerely your customer Mongoose1623" - sephora user

Sheer Finish Pressed Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I am a warm beige (3.5) in Bobbi's Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation. I also have very, very oily skin. This is my everyday powder and by far the best I have ever used! I alternate between Sunny Beige for winter, and Warm Natural for summer. I also sometimes use Warm Natural as a subtle contour powder in the colder season, when my skin is lighter. I love this powder because it sets my makeup very well and lasts quite a while. It also gives your skin a nice matte finish when you first apply it; after a couple of hours, you get that lovely 'dewy look' which I usually can't achieve with regular foundation because my skin ends up too shiny. If you're after coverage, then I suggest the Illuminating Finish Powder Compact. This is made to be worn over liquid or mineral foundation, and will not provide extra coverage. The shades are subtle, but the colour payoff is just enough so that I can just wear my 3.5 Warm Beige foundation all year round and just change my shades of sheer powder instead, when my skin colour changes with the season. It's handy because I don't have to get colour matched for foundation every season! I feel the selection of shades do cover a lot of different skin tones. If you only use a little bit of concealer instead of foundation, then this is also perfect to set the concealer, and will give your skin a more blended and even look. This does not set into lines, at least not in my experience, and when you touch up, it does not cake, nor does it feel like you're wearing powder. The packaging is simple, sleek and classic, and it's the perfect size with a decent mirror; I always carry it around in my bag or clutches. I really only have to touch up once or twice a day. I'll put a bit more on if it's a really hot and humid day or if I'm going out at night; Reapplying once before you go out will usually last the rest of the night. I never use the sponge that comes with this, but still keep it in the compact to protect it so the powder won't shatter as if I accidentally drop it out of my bag (I've never actually had the pan of powder break/shatter on me). I instead cary around a small kabuki brush and use that to apply this powder on, as I feel it gives a more natural and even finish, while also applying just the right amount and does not waste as much product. I also find it more hygienic to use a kabuki, because I can easily spray it with brush disinfectant every day or so. The included sponge would be more difficult to clean, and will not last long if used regularly. If you also have oily skin, this works well with Bobbi's oil control lotion. This powder is pretty good value for money as it usually lasts me quite a while, and I use it almost everyday! The loose and the pressed powder from Bobbi are actually exactly the same, but get more if you buy the pressed one and they are both the same price. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Nordstrom user

Magic Star Setting Powder by Jeffree Star

"I’ve only read & seen very negative feedback & reviews about this concealer but my experience with it has been nothing but positive! I really love the soft, smooth creamy texture. It glides on so easily & only a small amount is needed as it goes a long way. It gives light coverage that melts into foundation with the lightest touch & gives a lovely natural finish, not looking at all heavy or cakey. I’ve found it works best setting under the eyes with a very light dusting of loose powder, this way I had minimal creasing - my under eyes ALWAYS crease no matter what i use or do, but this concealer is one of the best I’ve found for reducing it, which I know is the opposite to what most people have said! I use a small amount of pressed powder to set the concealer on any marks/blemishes on my face & it gives me a light natural finish I love. The shade is the perfect match for my pink toned pale skin! A bargain for the money. I also use a darker shade to contour (c9) & it works perfectly! Less" - beautybay.com user

Beyond Matte HD Matifying Powder by Jane Iredale

"When I was in high school, I used Clinique and Shisheido make up but it often made my skin either too flaky and or too oily. It did not cover very well and often made my skin look like I was wearing a pound of make up. On a very lucky happenstance, I went to my doctor for a check up and she looked at my skin and said "how about you try this line of make up i sell here its the first ever mineral make up and its really great for your skin" and I said sure! She gave me the golden glow (i now use warm sienna its a bit lighter) and from that day on, I never used another product but this on my face. The coverage is miraculous. The texture is amazing. Anytime I'm sick or have stayed up all night from studying, I would wake up looking like a monster but once I put my pressed powder on, viola! Perfect skin instantly! It covers ALL my acne ALL my red marks ALL my pores smoothes out ALL my wrinkles and just makes my face porcelain perfect. In fact, that is what my old high school friends used to call me, porcelain doll ALL because of this powder. I am now 27 and I TRIED bare minerals and those other mineral things and anytime I use it, my face would break out (I wanted to save some money because JI can be pricey) but I then realize, to heck with it! This is an investment for my face I don't mind shelling out a bit more if my face is safe and healthy using an amazing product like JI. YES YES YES I RECOMMEND THIS!!!!!!! you won't regret it its the best product out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also use their daytime pallet for my eyes and their eye liner and their rose dawn quad bronzer they are alll AMAAAAAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! « less" - lovelyskin.com user

Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder by Estée Lauder

"I'll admit I don't wear pressed powder very often, but I still felt the need to have an excellent one on hand, and I found 'Lucidity' to be the best choice for me.'Lucidity' feels wonderfully light and comfortable on my face and helps keep my foundation looking fresh and natural upon initial application as well as with subsequent touch ups if/as needed. It yields a lovely, soft velvety finish effortlessly, blending in to my foundation seamlessly.I also like that 'Lucidity' doesn't seem to contain any oil controlling ingredients as this has the potential of making my skin dry and uncomfortable. " - esteelauder.ch user

Compact-Expert Dual Powder by By Terry

"I bought this product in shade 1 for all over the face and shade 3 because... well, it was just too pretty. Both have been amazing purchases and I now kind of want all of the shades to use as blush/bronzer!If you have lacklustre, mature or dry skin, mixing both powders for all over the face not only sets your foundation but makes your skin look luminous WITHOUT leaving specks of glitter on your face. This is why I found it so amazing! Being normal/combination skin it's hard for me to find something that sets the face without making me look too matte, which is something I hate. This does it beautifully. The middle powder, however, packs a serious punch as a highlighter. It looks gorgeous on the skin and gives it a very wet, reflective look without looking too metallic or over the top.You can also use only the outer rim of the powder, without the shimmer, all over the face, but this was my only gripe with the product as I've tried to do this and cant get my brush to not touch the centre part. The outer circle is just too small. If you only set strategically with a small brush however this could work.Overall this was an AMAZING purchase that I highly recommend for all skin types. « less" - spacenk.com user

Absolue Powder Radiant Smoothing Powder by Lancôme

"I have been using the Absolue Powder for about 9 months. I started using it along with the cushion foundation, in place of the Dual Finish I had been using for over 25 years. I have reddish skin due to acne rosacea, and I can use this powder alone for a light polished look. If used after the cushion foundation, it gives a very clear clean look. The powder is silky and blends easily, and my skin feels protected and slightly dewy, with out looking shiny or overly made up. Now that I am 51, I care a little bit more about how I look, but I don't have time to be fussy. I allot 5 minutes to my foundation and lip gloss, and combing my eyebrows. I spend about 4 minutes blow drying and brushing my long hair. I am pretty much wash and wear, so this powder fits perfectly into my routine with my hectic life. When my work day ends about 12 hours after applying this powder, I still look somewhat pulled together, and my face is still relatively matte. I can't say enough good things about the Absolue Powder! « less" - Lancôme user

Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder by By Terry

"I'm a long time beauty junkie and I NEVER write reviews. But, I have to share how much I love this powder! Yes, it is pricey but it's totally worth the investment! I have very oily skin and I wear glasses....not a wonderful combination for a makeup lover. I saw Makeupbytiffanyd talk about this and thought...why not!? I've tried so many powders before; Laura Mercier, Tarte, Charlotte Tilbury, Becca, you name it. Nothing really kept me oil free longer than 20 minutes, god forbid I put on my glasses or sunglasses. Forget it! my makeup would move all over the place or just be gone! But this! This stuff is amazing!! It doesn't look cakey or chalky on my skin, it blends in really nicely, it keeps oil away for most of the day and my makeup stays in place and doesn't budge all day! even with my glasses on! I'm very happy I decided to invest in this, not only does it do all the things you want a powder to do but, it doesn't clog my pores or break out my skin. Overall very happy and will continue to repurchase this in the future. Less" - Nordstrom user

Retouching Loose Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I tried the Porcelain Pearl first and love how it really gave my skin a wonderful bright glow, not glittery or shimmery, and blurred any imperfections, including making pores almost disappear. I use this on top of my regular setting powder and it gives a really nice glow to your skin. I sometimes add a little extra on top of my blush, especially when I use a brighter color, and it gives a very subtle iridescent look, love it! I recently purchased the Brightening Nudes and love it just as much! I use the Nudes on the days that I want a more natural subtle look. I've tried several brightening and high-lightening powders and these are the best I've found! Someone mentioned that they didn't feel they worked well on dry skin and I completely disagree, I have normal to very dry skin and they work great, not drying at all. Also, it doesn't settle into fine lines at all! My makeup looks just as great at the end of the day as in the morning and I never need to do touch-ups. I have had several compliments on my makeup since I started using this product. I will never be without it, it's now a staple in my makeup routine! « less" - Sephora user

Loose Powder by chantecaille

"I’ve used close to a dozen loose powders. I’m 53 with normal skin and a slightly oily t-zone. I use a light hand with all powders to set my concealer and foundation. This one as beautifully, blurs fine lines, and gets more luminous as the day goes on. I wouldn’t describe it as mattifying the way I use it but I also don’t like a matte finish. It’s a beautifying product and will last me for years. One observation about negative reviews: it’s not the product. Skin is different. We apply makeup differently. We want different things from a powder, etc. If you got a bad result, please remember that it’s just your experience. There is no reason to be so negative. " - Nordstrom user

Re-Nutriv Intensive Smoothing Powder by Estée Lauder

"I love this loose powder and let me tell you why. I have VERY fussy skin, I have eczema plus extreme sensitivity, a lip stick from the drug store will give me blisters! Anyway, I started using this loose powder almost a year ago. I was looking for something that would look less cakey, I'm almost 50 and had always used a pressed powder, MAC, Estee Lauder, Clinique, etc. When I started using the Re-Nutriv I was amazed with the finish, the fact that it feels so light and wonderful to my skin, and it stays on! No more of the constant powdering of the nose, etc. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, younger or older, who wants a more natural look. It does not settle in fine lines or wrinkles, in fact it made me look so much younger!" - Nordstrom user

Mood Light Luminous Powder by Jaclyn Cosmetics

"I recently bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in LUMINOUS LIGHT. It came in a beautiful case, and yes, there will be fingerprints on it - but they wipe off easily. The color is a soft candle-lit gold tone. I apply the powder with a soft fluffy brush as my last step to my make-up routine. I concentrate it on my cheeks, but then blend it lightly all over the face. It really gives your face a soft, lit-from-within glow. You can also use it on your chest and shoulders. It is not shiny or glittery, just a beautiful radiance. It is pricey, however, I think it will be a very long time until I would need to purchase another compact. This is my first Hourglass purchase. After seeing the quality of this powder, I may well be investigating other products from the line. This powder is well worth the money. Enjoy! Less" - Sephora user

Nude Finish Illuminating Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I was sent this gorgeous new powder by Bobbi Brown to try as a thank you for being a loyal customer. The Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is housed in a beige compact, with magnetic closure and includes a handy mirror. The compact is the same size and style as the Brightening Finishing Powders.I was sent the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder in 'Nude'; which is a great match for my (Bobbi Brown matched) 'beige' skin tone. Although I also see this working well with 'warm beige'; which is my usual summer colour. The powder itself is a pretty mix of.....well.... nudes! In a similar style to the brightening finishing powders the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder includes 6 squares of slightly different coloured and textured powders - with the lightest one being slightly sparkly, one being quite pearlescent, one being slightly bronze in tone and more matt and the remaining ones somewhere in the middle.I received the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder a week ago and have worn daily since. I have used it as a finishing powder over a variety of different bases - tinted moisturiser, Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation and a mineral powder foundation. I used my Bobbi Brown face blender brush to apply the powder all over my face over the top of a light sweep of bronzer and cream blusher. I also used some of the pearlescent section in the inner corner of my eyes to help brighten my eye area. The powder is marketed as leaving the skin glowing and it really does! The effect is best described by the French 'bonne mine'. It blends the makeup, softens the look and adds a healthy glow that's actually quite hard to come by. I've tried quite a few 'bonne mine' powders, by other cosmetic companies, but have found them too sparkly, too obvious somehow. Bobbi's Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is much much better! And it lasts all day - even after running around after my energetic preschool twins all day!I have Bobbi's Brightening Finishing Powders in both Brightening Nudes and Bronze Glow. I use and like them both but find them slightly too sparkly, for my taste, to use during the day. The Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is less sparkly and even in direct sunlight the sparkle isn't at all obvious. If you found the Brightening Powders too sparkly for day too then I'd say give this powder a try.Overall I love this powder - I've just found a new favourite and I can see this being a repeat purchase in the future. Thank you Bobbi Brown! Less" - bobbibrowncosmetics.ca user

BareSkin Perfecting Veil by bareMinerals

"first of all, i HATED mineral veil. it made my skin itch & felt very heavy, so i'd never use it and i'd end up having to touch up my foundation throughout the day.i bought this with complexion rescue b/c other reviews said it had a very dewy finish, which it does. this is perfect for the CR and the bare skin foundation when you don't want so much shine. it mattifies and makes my skin look airbrushed, and keeps the oil at bay. and seriously, it lasts all day! i might have to touch it up once, if even. no itching, and feels so light, unlike the mineral veil.i wear fairly light in the original foundation, vanilla in the CR, and Bare Shell in Bare Skin, so i got the light/medium. it doesn't change the color of my makeup, it just looks perfect.the only thing i don't like is the stupid little pad that comes with it. when i apply it in the morning, i just use one of my other brushes. i also have one of the foundation compacts, so i just switch out the pad for the brush that came with the compact. this stuff can be messy, but that's not a deal breaker for me. keep the plastic cover over the veil-helps keep the mirror clean. Less" - bareminerals.com user

Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder by Chanel

"This powder is absolutely amazing! It is so finely ground and it goes on beautifully. You can hardly see it, yet the difference it makes is truly substantial. It sets liquid foundation WITHOUT enhancing fine lines. It also covers pores without settling into them. It is very lightweight and natural looking. It does not look caked on like you’re wearing too much makeup. It does a great job of controlling shine, while not making you look too matte or dry. I don’t need to touch up until 6 hours after application (and even then I need the tiniest amount to touch up).I purchased the ’30 Naturel’ color. I apply it with a large, fluffy powder brush to set my liquid foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere liquid foundation (AMAZING!). " - Nordstrom user

You may pay more for this but trust me this powder makes your skin flawless and You get so much product for the price. It makes drugstore makeup look smooth and high end foundation stay beautiful all day. I Love the way it makes my skin look and until now I have never experienced a more perfect powder. I am 45 with deep set wrinkles on my forehead and fine lines on my face and LOVE this. One of the huge factors in foundations was settling in my lines and this powder stops that! I have tried so many products until now and am so happy I bought this! Try it you'll love it! " - Nordstrom user

Ultralucent Setting Powder by cinema secrets

"i have this in the light shade and experience no flashback or white cast. i have always had trouble keeping my t zone mattified and this is the only powder that does it and keeps it mattified without getting greasy/slick a few hours through the day. it is also the best for setting my undereyes without being too drying like the laura mercier is. since i have dry skin in all areas other than my tzone, i dont ever bake so havent used this to bake and wouldn't recommend baking for dry skin types. it doesnt cake up or dry out my undereyes at all like the laura mercier tends to do. it works better for me than the cover fx or laura mercier in both the skin tone matching and tzone mattifying. to avoid powderiness, my favorite brush to apply any setting powder with is the elf round kabuki and i just stiple and press. i found the laura mercier a more powdery finish and harder to wipe away. it is now my go to and i wont be repurchasing laura mercier or cover fx. i also noticed the scent of the powder and was worried about that however once on the face it's not noticeable at all. my skin is very sensitive, especially to scents, and is not irritated by it at all. it smells like aveenos soothing lotion. all in all, i use much less of this powder than others in order to get my desired effect, it's cheaper, works better, lasts a lot longer and matches my skin better than other powders, so it is now my go to setting powder. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Studio Fix Perfecting Powder by MAC

"This powder was recommended to me by a Mac Chat consultant. I have puffy eyes that are hereditary and due to aging 34 lol I have fine lines and wrinkles under my eyes.I use Mac prolongwear concealer and although I use all Mac products except for foundation which is Estee lauder, I used their Studio Fix and Prolongwear foundation & concealer for 17+ years, but something in my routine wasn't working.I tried this product and was shocked!!!1. It brightens the under eye just enough to make you look awake but not too much to enhance the puffiness.2. It blends well with mineralized skin finish natural and prep & prime transparent powder. I use skin finish daily to set foundation and on lazy days I use translucent with skin finish for a clean no make up look.3. It does NOT dry out the eye, again I love my prep & prime transparent but it does dry out the prolongwear since its a Matte concealer.4. It blurrs out wonderfully and no flash back.5. the container is fine, I tap powder on a paper plate when I'm beating my face and for regular days my beauty blender works great just giving it a a few dips into the cushion it has. If i use a brush I tap the powder in its cap and swipe from there.Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!>>> Puffy eye gang this is how I use it.After moisturizing my under eye I use Prep & Prime Highlight, I use Bright Forecast, then I use prolongwear concealer in NC20 which btw b4 this I mixed NW25 & NC20 to get a nice coverage without enhancing the puffiness, so now I dont need the NW. I apply concealer with either finger, 217 brush or beauty blender, Then I take my beauty blended and spray Prep & Prime Fix +, then I dip in powder and Bake.for the rest of my face I use skin finish natural which blends well with this powder and WALA, new person, beautiful pictures, wonderful coverage. This is the best way to bake, which IS doable contrary to what people or videos say. Moisturizing under the eye is VERY important, but no fear U will LOVE it! Less" - maccosmetics.com user

Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder by Laura Mercier

"This is exactly what I hoped it would be - a lightweight setting powder that would be mostly invisible but "set" undereye concealer and other liquid face products so powder products go on smoothly over them. Similar to Hourglass Ambient Light powders, which I like but always had trouble finding the right shade. I'm a light/medium olive/neutral and Light works for me. This powder will NOT make you dewy and it is NOT a highlighting powder unless you wear a dead matte product under it - then I guess it may create some shine on top. But just applied with a powder brush onto bare skin or a dewy finish foundation, it will essentially be invisible (assuming you find the right shade for you). It has an ever-so-slight pore blurring effect but nothing significant. No problems getting product onto brush whatsoever. But again, you have to swatch heavily to get this stuff to show up but that's exactly what I like about it. Final note - the colors are a little deceptively named. I would say light is more light/medium and would not work on fair or light skin tones. Light is also a little peachy so if your skin has no peach tones in it, it may look weird." - sephora user

Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Tinted Pressed Finishing Powder by Tarte

"I have tried other mineral powders, Bare Minerals and one by Avon which my mother gave me. I found both of these powders to really sink in my pores and look quite gross and shiny by the end of the day. When I mentioned this to my Sephora representative, it was suggested I use a primer to prevent the product from sinking in. I have used primer before, but I really don't like the feeling of so many layers on my face (if I didn't need to wear makeup I wouldn't), but I figured this was my only choice. However, after purchasing this powder yesterday I applied it to moisturized skin with Touche Éclat and here are my thoughts: PACKAGING: Could be better but not an issue for me. This compact is literally 3 flat layers kept shut by magnets. There are no outer 'ridges' enclosing the compact so it looks a little sloppy when some loose powder strays from the pressed powder. I do not mind the separate area for the sponge, and I do not find the compact difficult to open. I have short nails but you don't need nails to pry it open... APPLICATION: Goes on wonderfully, very smooth. I find the sponge to work very well for either 'patting' or 'sliding' the powder on your face, and neither application looks too heavy or cakey. COVERAGE: My sister looked at my face in sunlight after I had applied and she said my skin looked 'really good'. I am normally afraid of looking at my face in natural daylight, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that my skin looked even and natural, and there was no obvious sign of 'makeup'. My skin has a nice glow due to diet, but I have some remaining purple pigmentation from acne, and the skin around my eyes is very thin and you can see my veins. I also have redness around my nose. This powder did not completely erase the pigmentation, and I wasn't expecting it to, but it did even out my skin taking care of the redness and veins. STAYING POWER: After I had applied this powder I was traipsing all over the city until late at night. It was changeable weather and I was alternating between sweating, being cold, windy, subway, dry lecture halls etc. When I returned home at midnight I was SHOCKED at the state of my skin. My pores were not visible and crater-like, I had a tiny bit of shine in the corners of my nose, but nothing compared to the shine and 'goop' created by previous powders. The makeup had not magically 'disappeared' and maintained the same coverage as when I applied it. To my delight, I did not have ANY makeup creases in my smile lines or the crease above my chin, which was the case with previous mineral powders. I am very pleased that I will not need to use a primer beforehand. I get a bit oily in my T-zone, but this powder kept my skin nicely matte. SHADE: I am so relieved to finally find a shade that 'disappears' into my skin. I am pale with yellow undertones (Italian/British background) and have never found a powder or foundation that completely matches my skin tone. The shade I have is Fair 02. In Touche Éclat I use shade 2. FINAL THOUGHTS: Excellent product that works perfectly with my skin, and one that I feel good about supporting! I have only used it once, and hopefully it will not cause breakouts. If it does I will write another review. If your skin sounds like mine, hopefully you will find success with this product." - sephora user

Sheer Finish Loose Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I loved the pressed powder and suspected I'd love the loose version too - I do! It's sooo fine and sheer on the skin! It's sheer even for the not-sheer version. Undetectable and blends wonderfully. I love that I can use this to cut harsh colors of eyeshadow if I've gotten a little too heavy-handed. Just a little pat with a fingertip will bring it down a notch! This is such nice powder! I'm just going to have to keep both around -- the pressed and the loose. And you need to use so little. This canister will last me quite a while; I tend to not use it for touch-ups thoughout the day in warmer weather because I rely on the blotting sheets so the only time I apply it for the most part is when I set foundation or concealor or corrector. The very fine texture means it does tend to sort of billow around if I use a brush with too much "vigor"; I have to watch that when I wear contacts. Other than that it's a great product -- definitely one of my BB staples. « less" - bobbibrowncosmetics.com user

Brightening Finishing Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

Ultra HD Microfinishing Pressed Powder by Make Up For Ever

"This is my second loose face powder as I traveled out of state and lost two products :( I only used my first one 2-3 times so it was like new. I was so upset I ordered another one online as this is confused by many this is not a setting powder. This product is used for the final touch after using your setting powder then sitting spray. I use this product after I use my line of Kate Somerville under eye products which I will write a review about. We must have youthful face foundation before any makeup will perform correctly even foundations. I ordered this HD Microfinishing loose powder under my eyes and all over my face which helps by 70% reducing fine lines and helps control oil in our T-zone areas. This powder would act the same as a normal foundation powder without any color. There is no white, grey or ash look and there is no white cast with a flash. Many people may confuse this as a setting power however, it's not. I own many brands and by far this is my number one powder. Good for all skin types, ages, female or male.Apply your face moisturizer, face primer, foundation, setting powder (I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder) less is more. Use with a damp Beauty Blender. If you have mature skin as in wrinkles, fine lines and crows feet around your eyes less product applied shows less creases with either product which I have found in using my sitting powder before my MUF loose powder under my eyes and over my entire face with a brush I show less creases, fine lines and wrinkles. This product is a must as it works just as a nice flawless finish to tame down your liquid foundation and stops the oily T-zone areas. You can use this product that best fits your needs, I am a huge makeup junkie and through many mistakes and keep trying this is what I've found to work best for us with more mature skin. Note* This is not a sitting powder and I strongly recommend this product in your makeup look! Please follow me as i do write reviews on all products i do purchase and they are posted once they are a verified purchase, many more coming! Less" - Sephora user

Outlast All-Day Matte Finishing Powder by Covergirl

"I was honored to be selected to try for free, the Covergirl Outlast All-Day Finishing Powder and Concealer by BzzAgent. I chose the light to medium shade which was a perfect match to my skin tone. The finishing powder goes on smooth with a beautiful soft sponge - that is easily cleaned by rinsing with water when it becomes too dirty. The powder blends perfectly into the skin and provides a flawless coverage. It also makes the skin feel very soft and smooth without having an appearance of wearing thick brown makeup on the face. Even in various shades of light - the coverage is flawless and seemingly unnoticeable. It is perfect for a night on the town or to cover up small blemishes or skin imperfections. I used the finishing powder in the morning to cover up mainly my "T" spots and amazingly there was no need to reapply throughout the day - it really is Outlast all day. I did not feel as though I was wearing any foundation - my face did not feel heavy or tight nor did I have any cakey feel or appearance that I was actually wearing foundation. I love the flawless look and appreciated how natural any woman can look who wears the finishing powder. The outlast concealer is perfect for those touch-ups - it is not greasy and also blends into the skin with perfection. The finishing powder comes in pretty grey case with a mirror that is a perfect size to carry with you in your purse. There is quite a sufficient amount of hard powder in the case so it would easily last one four months - a great value for perfect, flawless skin coverage. As long as you have the perfect colour match to your skin tone, one will be amazed by the beauty and flawless coverage of Covergirl Outlast All Day Finishing Powder and Concealer. I highly recommend it and will be purchasing in the future when mine runs out. Thanks BzzAGent for the opportunity to sample this wonderful product - CoverGirl has found a new, satisfied fan. Magic Mosaic Multi Colored Custom Pressed Powder by Physicians Formula

"Okay I know this sounds funny but I was roaming around looking for a bronzer & foundation that was on the cheap (compared to my usual smashbox or too faced)for work because I hate blowing through bronzer when I just waste it on going to my gross food counter job. I've tried just about e v e r y thing!! As long as your using the right bronzer brush its great for contouring, blends well, it's not very $$$, looks natural (night & day), and I love it so much that I now use it for every day and I probably wont get my too faced bronzer again to be honest!!! It's perfect for that tan glow without getting all shimmery and causing acne. Best part is-for using it everyday it's lasted me a 7 weeks. Woot woot!!! Plus- my friends have tried it & love it. Fair, olive, tanned, whatever your skin color I bet you'll agree this bronzer is a winner. 2 thumbs up :)" - ulta user

Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder by Pat McGrath Labs

"This is really awesome! The packaging is just so cute, I love the small mirror it has inside and I love the domed shape of the product. Now this is like a very hard baked powder with the most beautiful subtle hint of reflection in the powder (not at all too reflective like a highlighter, just a super subtle brightening effect). I love how it comes in multiple shades so that everyone has a color just for them. This is amazing at setting any foundation or concealer under the eyes, or just as a brightening powder. If you use this with PatMcgraths brush, it does crumble very slightly because the brush is soft, but kinda stiff, so be sure to use a light hand when grabbing this powder with that brush. The powder goes on very smoothly onto the skin and is not cakey at all. I can wear a full face of makeup, and this powder keeps all the makeup in place under my eyes and even around my nose. I like to put a tiny amount of powder right against my nose because I have a little reddness there, this keeps it from creasing and it helps even up that area too. I really love this powder with the concealer to match it. I highly recommend, especially if you're using her concealer too!" - sephora user

Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder by Urban Decay

"Sets makeup wonderfully. Very finely milled powder, does not set in the fine lines of your face. I use this to set my powder, not under eye area. This keeps my skin matte for the about 4-5 hours depending on the weather and temperature. I have combination skin, keeps my face from being too shiny although I will say that it does a great job especially during the summer months in Jacksonville. The color selection is small (6 shades I think) however this is not meant to be worn as a full coverage foundation. It such a dream to apply and never gets cakey and just gives your skin a radiant, matte finish. Nothing that looks fake and caked on. I recommend not pulling the tab off the sifter, just poke a few holes so it does not get messy, as all sifters tend to do. Great buy, worth the money. I ma a fan of the entire Naked line from UD. « less" - ulta.com user

Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo by bareMinerals

"Bare Minerals has been a favorite brand for many years. I love that the products are non-comedogenic and in my experience have always done exactly what they say. Translucent is truly translucent & colors are true to the color/coverage advertised. This combo is a quick & easy way to set my face for the day after whatever else I choose to use, and in some cases I use it alone simply to keep my sensitive/combo skin looking even without looking like I'm wearing makeup. It's true to it's claims - the translucent matte truly keeps the oily parts in check & the other side does the same with a little glow added. They last all day without settling into creases or pores and never ever look or feel heavy! " - ulta.com user

Wrinkle Therapy Face Powder Translucent by Physicians Formula

"I had to learn how to apply this for my skin. I was rubbing it in like bare minerals (swirl, tap, buff)...as I get older I have found that alot of the techniques I used when I was younger simply don't work for my skin anymore and actually make me look older. Now I use my moisturizer first, let it sit for a few minutes and absorb into my skin. Then I use Almay Line Smoothing foundation applied with a concealer brush from bare minerals. I let it sit for a min or 2 to absorb and let my body heat kind of "melt" it into my moisturized skin. Next just gently swiping a little bit of CoverToxTen onto an ecotools blush brush, I could see the powder sitting on the brush, not inside the brush. Then I just placed it on dabbing all over my face, kind of like how you would blot oil with a paper (just touch and release leaving it almost cakey) and left it unblended sitting cakey on my face, applied my eye makeup, then gently swiped the excess off (very similar to "baking" but not as heavy of an application.) Works perfectly for me. I have tried baking just like in videos on YouTube and have failed every single time until I tried it with CoverToxTen. It comes out flawless and my skin looks matte but not flat...moisturized and youthful! I then apply a final coat of mascara, do my lip liner and gloss, then take the same ecotools blush brush and do a final sweep over my face to blend in once more before applying blush. It seems like alot of steps or time consuming, but really the whole process took less than 10 minutes and I looked like I had spent hours or had my face done professionally (even though I am a licensed cosmetologist) this is. Something everyone can do at home with the right brushes!! Hope this technique helps anyone who has tried this and wasn't 100% happy with the application!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine by Benefit

"I bought this product yesterday. I will say it works great! I have tried so many powders for oily skin. High end and low end products. I do not use foundation. I have very sensitive skin. When I say sensitive I mean it. I have acne prone skin along with VERY oily skin. Let me clarify OILY. When I put make up on I get oily 1-2 hours later! Benefit sales person asked me what my routine was for face care. I use a apricot scrub 3 times a week, I apply a avocado mask once a week along with Biore strips for blackheads etc once a week. I also clean my face twice a day sometimes 3 times which can be bad. But I sweat a lot when at the gym. I never go to bed with make up on. I use a blemish fighting toner daily. I still have very oily skin and my pores are definitely not afraid to show themselves! The benefit sales person said I was doing good with my routine and should try this product. I applied to clean face a moisterizer oil free and then applied the Porefessional primer and porefessional powder to one side of my face and the other side just the Porefessional powder. *Note- I tend to break out a little with the porefessional primer. I I wanted to see the difference with oil control. I wore it for most of the day and couldn't believe how light weight feeling it gave me! It glides on very smooth. Although my pores showed a little on the side without the porefessional primer than the other side without. (Of course.) To my surprise the side of my face with just the powder looked smooth and not oily! The side with both products was oily and the make up "set" in my pores. I recommend only using the powder! I am a Benefit fan and love most of their products. This product in my opinion is the best if your looking for something smooth, light weight, natural looking and to control shine! No breakouts thus far!The only thing that's a little bothersome is the brush slightly gets stuck when trying to put it in place.. But hey i can live with that!! Must try!! « less" - Macy's user

Instant Relief Mineral Pressed Powder by Clinique

"I used to use Banana powder but over the last couple of years any powder with talc in it stings my skin and makes it itchy. For a long time I searched for a replacement for my favorite Banana powder and I've finally found it! This is a mineral powder. The yellow undertones, on me, neutralize dark discolorations from the sun. I do wish this came in loose powder, but I'll take it any way they'll sell it. I have olive skin and while I do have "normal" redness in places I don't have rosacea, sensitive skin, or flushing. I just like to use yellow/banana powders because they look better than white powders on my skin. My skin gets sallow, so it would seem that yellow would make it worse, however, the bright yellow, sheer powder has a brightening effect that never looks ashy. This powder is also excellent for controlling oily eyelids. It counteracts darkness and it brightens my eyes. This can be reapplied during the day for touchups because the color doesn't layer and get darker or oxidized. It has a refreshing effect. Less" - Sephora user

Mineral Wear Airbrushing Loose by Physicians Formula

"I am a 45 year old woman with fair colored skin. I also have a good deal of tonal discoloration concentrated on the sides of my neck and Décolleté. I also have a normal amount of wisdom lines on my face, so powdered makeup in general can be tricky as it seems to accentuate lines or any unsmooth textures (e.g. old acne scaring). I still have used powdered mineral makeup since it's birth into the makeup scene as my foundation of choice for a multitude of reasons.... and just dealt with the stuff showing off my wrinkles a little more than the liquid stuff.I tried THIS powdered mineral makeup however, when I saw the word "airbrush", and deduced it was likely a ultra fine powder & less likely to clump up in my facial lines - This theory turned out to be true. =} I am happy to report that this makeup is wonderful and does the best job out of any powder I have ever tried (and I've tried a lot). It is also a very smooth look with coverage that perfectly blends my uneven skin tone without looking like I'm covered in make-up. The color and coverage are both very natural looking and I'm very pleased. One note to users with dry and/or wrinkled skin - ANY powdered makeup can look powdery and accentuate lines or flakey, rough skin (although THIS makeup was very minimal). Correct application on evenly moisturized skin is a must for a desireable outcome (not overly moisturizer tho' so that your face is wet). Tapping off excess powder from your brush & applying a THIN coat is key. If you need more coverage, simply apply another thin layer. Also, I have noticed that if I pat a minuscule amount of moisturizer over the top of my wrinkled areas AFTER applying the powder, it somehow helps smooth out any accentuation the powder may have left. I would like to point out again, however, that THIS powdered makeup was very good at not clumping up into the wrinkles. « less" - ulta.com user

Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder by Make Up For Ever

"I cannot stress enough how obsessed I am with this loose powder. Ladies.. YOU WILL NOT REGRET PURCHASING THIS!!! Trust me on this one!! I am an extremely picky person with powders. So I received a sample of this powder and was scared to try it out. Because I've had experiences with other loose powders such as: Laura Mercier and Kat Von D, where they would look good in the beginning then cakey or really dry after a couple of hours. But anyways, I gave this one a shot and I am sooooo thankful I did!! This powder gives you THE MOST amazing result ever!!! It makes my dry skin soooo smooth and DID NOT get oily in my t-zone after a couple of hours!! I just came back from a dance party (just to test this powder to the max) and im looking in the mirror right now just astonished! Looks as if I just applied my makeup! It's amazing how this powder works and feels!! I think I just found my all time setting powder! Thank you MUFE!!!!!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user
