Blended Face Powder And Brush by Clinique

"i just purchased my second jar of this fabulous powder, and i absolutely love it! i have very sensitive skin - even "clean" or "natural" drugstore brands irritate or dry out my skin - so powders can be tricky. but clinique's powder is just right - it creates a natual, matte, oil-free finish without giving your skin a cakey, "made-up," or fake appearence. it also keeps foundation and concealer in place very well throughout the day. i won't lie - this won't keep your makeup on forever. that said, i have pretty oily skin, so my makeup never stays on my face for an entire day. with primer (but no powder), makeup applied around 7 am will wear thin by about 2 pm. but with primer & this powder, my makeup lasts until about 6 pm. and an evening touch-up will last me well into the night, which is great for parties and late nights :) the "invisible blend" is my personal favorite - when i first saw it, i was skeptical about just how "invisible" it would be, but i ended up being pleasently surprised. it truly is undetectable! although i have very fair skin, i'm positive that it works just as well on deeper skin tones. overall, this is a really fantastic product for a great price. one jar lasts forever - in my case, 6-8 months. i highly recommend investing in a good-quality kabuki brush, though, since the complimentary brush is somewhat cheap and not as effective as it could be. {and for those considering other finishing powders, i HIGHLY recommend clinique's powder over bare escentual's mineral veil (too sparkly for me) and mufe's hd microfinish powder (just seemed unnatural and drying to me). hope that helps! } <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="1565994422010241484-full" data-show="1565994422010241484-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder by Milk Makeup

A silicone-free, talc-free, lightweight setting powder that absorbs oil - cutting shine, not glow - to leave skin matte and lock makeup in place.

Perfect Setting Powder by Cover FX

"I was introduced to Coverfx products approximately 10 years ago. This product was made by specialists in the trade of helping people with scars; bad blemish issues such as tatoos acne etc... I have personally, been using all of these products for my own scar and blemish issues. The idea is that your able to apply the pre make up conditioning oil prior to applying the foundation. The conditioning oil makes my skin nice and soft. Often I will simply use this only when I dont feel like applying the makeup. However when I do choose to wear makeup I first apply the conditioning mineral oil to my face. It helps when you put the make up on afterwards. When you then apply the foundation you use the mineral powder very lightly over the foundation. Obviously a person with scars or serious blemish issues can then layer the foundation and any blended cover stick such as lavender or yellow to hide dark circles or redness on the face. It is because you are able to apply and layer these products that gives you a natural more youthful look without worrying about having to reapply and it is water resistant so go ahead and jump in a lake and be worry free of your makeup coming off your face. This product use to be available at Shoppers or other drugstores. But then Sephora bought the rights to these fantastic Coverfx products and I think it was a very smart move on their part. Coverfx is now and always will be the one and only product I will ever use. I would love to be able to purchase a coulple of items that I presently am in need of so I will go and do so right now. But first I give both Sephora and coverfx products a 5 star or 100% rating. Absolutely ingenius. I will be checking out the other Sephora products Im certain thy have many exclusive and eligant products for healthy face and body and the very best of the best products that are both helpful and look fantastic to the person who is using products from this wonderful company. Thank You Sephora. Sincerely your customer Mongoose1623" - sephora user

Prep Set Go Transparent Face Powder by Milani

"Milani, I love this powder more than I can explain and I hope you never discontinue it. It is literally perfect and only $10. How?! it is transparent on your skin without looking dry or cakey or powdery AT ALL. I have dry skin and normally I can't wear any transparent powder (or most powders at all) because it looks so dry and powdery, this one thought has become my everyday god send to set my makeup. It's also so convenient being a pressed powder instead of loose. It reduces shine only slightly so if you have a dewy foundation on it still lets that foundation look dewy but keeps it from getting too shiney. It keeps my foundation from settling in my lines. It smoothes my skin under my eyes and forehead like a blur filter. I can not say this would be good if youre oily because this won't keep shine away all day. But if you're dry and you want some glow but want to set your makeup then this is seriously an amazing powder. You will be so glad you got it. Less" - myshopify.com/milanicosmetics user

True Color Soft Velvet Finishing Powder by Black Opal

"This powder looks great on my dry skin. It sets my face and leaves a matte finish without looking cakey. Setting powders sometimes make my skin look drier, especially drug store setting powders. This doesn't look dry, and helps fill in my pores so my skin looks smoother. It doesn't wear off throughout the day. My makeup does last longer when I use this compared to my other powders. I don't know if it would work as well on oily skin but dry or mature skin will love this. It's packaged nicely. It has a sifter which allows me to get to the powder easily without a huge mess. It does have a subtle sweet scent but it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and once applied I can no longer smell it. As an added bonus this powder is only $10 and you get a good amount so it should last a bit. " - ulta.com user

Absolue Powder Radiant Smoothing Powder by Lancôme

"I have been using the Absolue Powder for about 9 months. I started using it along with the cushion foundation, in place of the Dual Finish I had been using for over 25 years. I have reddish skin due to acne rosacea, and I can use this powder alone for a light polished look. If used after the cushion foundation, it gives a very clear clean look. The powder is silky and blends easily, and my skin feels protected and slightly dewy, with out looking shiny or overly made up. Now that I am 51, I care a little bit more about how I look, but I don't have time to be fussy. I allot 5 minutes to my foundation and lip gloss, and combing my eyebrows. I spend about 4 minutes blow drying and brushing my long hair. I am pretty much wash and wear, so this powder fits perfectly into my routine with my hectic life. When my work day ends about 12 hours after applying this powder, I still look somewhat pulled together, and my face is still relatively matte. I can't say enough good things about the Absolue Powder! « less" - Lancôme user

Oat Translucent Setting Powder by Beauty Bakerie

"This got good reviews on YouTube so I wanted to try it. I got it in the shade translucent. It's very finely milled and feels very soft when applying. I use it to set my whole face but apply it with a damp beauty blender under the eyes and then a brush for everything else. A little goes a looooong way with this powder. The only down side is that it gets everywhere if you're heavy handed, like me. I wish it had a cover over the sifter as product tends to spill out, it's definitely not handbag friendly! I would still recommend it though. I have very oily skin so I don't expect to be shine free all day but I think this does a better job than my KVD lock it powder. " - beautybay.com user

The Powder Room Translucent Setting Powder by pretty vulgar

"Let me start off by saying I am middle eastern with olive medium tan skin and an oily face that can fry a fish fillet. I have tried countless amounts of setting powders and good lord I think I have found THE ONE! I have tried the ever so lovely Huda and Laura but I’m telling you, this powder beats them all. Hourglass? Becca? Tarte? Psshhh not even close. This powder is perfect for baking and surprised it’s fine enough for under the eyes. It’s translucent with no white cast. Also it’s just matte. Pure matte, no fuss. If you want dewy, you can add some ambient powder but this bad boy with soak up all that oil on your face without making it look cakey, dry or crepy. I don’t know how they managed this formula. Laura is great but dries me out then my face tries to overcompensate and oils up, making the powder look cakey. Huda just doesn’t cut it, I keep reapplying and ends up cakey. Everything else makes me super oily and just lays on top of my skin. PV actually seeps in and keeps soaking up everything while still keeping you look fresh all day. This is perfect when combined with hourglass ambient lighting powders, gives the perfect amount of matte and glow that keeps your make up looking amazing all day. I took a pic to show how my make up stayed put without reapplying or blotting for 9 hours. Just give it a try Less" - Sephora user

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural by MAC

"I have very dry skin and wearing powder was a no no. I have used mineral makeup and that is better, but can't wear it in the winter. I have redness that is hard to cover without looking dry, cakey or like a mask. Tinted moisturizers are too sheer in coverage and don't last long, powders make my dry skin look even drier, and liquids slide off of my red patches and so I apply more and more to cover it and it just makes it more cakey. So what is a girl to do? I read the reviews and went to Nordstrom to give it a try. The lady put the smallest amount on my skin and it evened out my complexion very nicely. I used a darker color than my complexion (lighter shades make me look pasty and seems to accentuate my redness) which also helped to better conceal my red cheeks. But the real test was to see how my skin would react to it throughout the day. Would skin look dry at the end day? Would it be tight and itchy like what all powders have done before? I looked in the mirror and to my astonishment; my skin didn't look dry at all. It looked hydrated and glowing still. Most foundations and powders I have used soak up all the moisture from my skin and again looks dry. NOT THIS STUFF. Honestly I can't really classify this as a powder. It is so different in texture and application. It looks like a powder, but it is so different. I guess because of the way it is baked it is creamier than a regular pressed powder. My makeup application is done in 5 minutes. Finally a powder that does all that I need it to and makes my morning application so much easier and much... faster. I never knew that powder could be this awesome for my dry skin. And oilier skin can wear it too! That to me speaks volumes about this product. It is non drying and long wearing. I can't say enough good things about this awesome product. « less" - maccosmetics.com user

The Makeup Translucent Loose Powder by Shiseido

"I bought this loose powder back in May 2012, and I'm just now starting to run out (June 2013). This product has lasted me a little over a year, and I use this 5-6 days a week. Other powders turn my foundation color darker or orange, but this powder does an effective job at setting my foundation without changing the color. I love how lightweight it feels and it is worth every penny. I have acne scars, oily skin, uneven skin tone, and dry spots. This powder has not irritated the dryness of my face. For max coverage, I'll sweep a bit of it with my finger onto my t-zone area and it helps with the oily areas. I have finally found my setting powder!" - Sephora user

Neutralizing Mattifier Soft Focus Translucent Powder by pacifica

"I love the Pacifica brand and I purchase their CC cream regularly. I wanted to give this powder a try because I have very oily skin/combination and I am impressed so far. It did take some trial and error for me - I first applied it over my NARS tinted moisturizer. That was a no go - it ended up looking really cakey and fake to me just an hour or so into the day. The same thing happened when I dusted this powder on top of the Pacifica CC cream. So I tucked the powder away for a few days thinking it was a waste. Then I figured I should just give it a try by itself. I've been wearing light liquid makeup for awhile now, mainly because when I turned 30 it seemed like powders sadly just didn't work for me on their own anymore. But when I tried this powder alone and after my morning Ordinary routine, WOW. My skin looks flawless. And the best part is that it does the best job of keeping oil at bay, better than any other powders I've tried (you name it, I've tried them). My skin is extremely finicky, so ymmv, but a few things I have noticed to make the most out of this powder and to get the most natural look with my skin type: wear alone (I use the Ordinary azelaic acid solution underneath in the a.m.), do not touch-up with a heavy hand during the day (I've noticed I'm better off to just blot during the day versus touching up with more of this product - that's when it can start to get unnatural looking for me). I recommend giving it a try if you have sensitive, oily, finicky skin as I do. The coverage is great for blemishes and uneven skin tone, and the best part is how I look dewy and glowing halfway through the day - NOT like a grease bucket. I strongly believe this more natural dew versus oil pan effect has something to do with their natural ingredients. Pacifica again for the win! « less" - ulta.com user

Diorskin Forever & Ever Control Loose Powder by Dior

"Diorskin Forever & Ever is a great powder that easily keeps most of it’s promises. I’d yet to encounter a powder, loose or pressed, without any hint of color-especially when it’s the color of talcum so the claims of “invisible, sheer & one color for all” seemed like a sales ploy. It’s actually true. It doesn’t need to blend at all because it’s impossible to tell if a person has any on.It looks invisible, but happily, it’s not. It doesn’t dry out my skin or appear cakey. It hasn’t aggravated my acne prone t-zone. It works at eliminating shine & setting makeup. It doesn’t settle in fine lines or wrinkles leaving a visible line after a few hours wear.An excellent silver mini-Kabuki brush is included. I’ll keep the brush long after the powder is gone. The price is high, especially compared to drugstore brands. I’m sure there exists a less expensive invisible loose powder that works as well but I’m happy enough with Dior’s that I’m not looking for anything else. « less" - Sephora user

Synchro Skin Invisible Silk Loose Setting Powder by Shiseido

"This powder applied flawlessly. I have dark skin and this doesn’t cause me to look ashy in anyway when I use it that way I’d use my other setting powders. It’s really light weight, when wearing it I don’t feel it on at all. It’s always comfortable. I have really sensitive skin and get really back contact dermatitis from products and this hasn’t caused me to have any of bad or adverse reactions at all. This also prevents under eye creasing of concealer for me. i love how this loose powder comes with its very own powder puff since most of the loose powders I own don’t. I would definitely recommend and continue to repurchase. " - Sephora user

Nude Finish Illuminating Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I was sent this gorgeous new powder by Bobbi Brown to try as a thank you for being a loyal customer. The Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is housed in a beige compact, with magnetic closure and includes a handy mirror. The compact is the same size and style as the Brightening Finishing Powders.I was sent the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder in 'Nude'; which is a great match for my (Bobbi Brown matched) 'beige' skin tone. Although I also see this working well with 'warm beige'; which is my usual summer colour. The powder itself is a pretty mix of.....well.... nudes! In a similar style to the brightening finishing powders the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder includes 6 squares of slightly different coloured and textured powders - with the lightest one being slightly sparkly, one being quite pearlescent, one being slightly bronze in tone and more matt and the remaining ones somewhere in the middle.I received the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder a week ago and have worn daily since. I have used it as a finishing powder over a variety of different bases - tinted moisturiser, Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick, Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation and a mineral powder foundation. I used my Bobbi Brown face blender brush to apply the powder all over my face over the top of a light sweep of bronzer and cream blusher. I also used some of the pearlescent section in the inner corner of my eyes to help brighten my eye area. The powder is marketed as leaving the skin glowing and it really does! The effect is best described by the French 'bonne mine'. It blends the makeup, softens the look and adds a healthy glow that's actually quite hard to come by. I've tried quite a few 'bonne mine' powders, by other cosmetic companies, but have found them too sparkly, too obvious somehow. Bobbi's Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is much much better! And it lasts all day - even after running around after my energetic preschool twins all day!I have Bobbi's Brightening Finishing Powders in both Brightening Nudes and Bronze Glow. I use and like them both but find them slightly too sparkly, for my taste, to use during the day. The Nude Finish Illuminating Powder is less sparkly and even in direct sunlight the sparkle isn't at all obvious. If you found the Brightening Powders too sparkly for day too then I'd say give this powder a try.Overall I love this powder - I've just found a new favourite and I can see this being a repeat purchase in the future. Thank you Bobbi Brown! Less" - bobbibrowncosmetics.ca user

BareSkin Perfecting Veil by bareMinerals

"first of all, i HATED mineral veil. it made my skin itch & felt very heavy, so i'd never use it and i'd end up having to touch up my foundation throughout the day.i bought this with complexion rescue b/c other reviews said it had a very dewy finish, which it does. this is perfect for the CR and the bare skin foundation when you don't want so much shine. it mattifies and makes my skin look airbrushed, and keeps the oil at bay. and seriously, it lasts all day! i might have to touch it up once, if even. no itching, and feels so light, unlike the mineral veil.i wear fairly light in the original foundation, vanilla in the CR, and Bare Shell in Bare Skin, so i got the light/medium. it doesn't change the color of my makeup, it just looks perfect.the only thing i don't like is the stupid little pad that comes with it. when i apply it in the morning, i just use one of my other brushes. i also have one of the foundation compacts, so i just switch out the pad for the brush that came with the compact. this stuff can be messy, but that's not a deal breaker for me. keep the plastic cover over the veil-helps keep the mirror clean. Less" - bareminerals.com user

Special Healing Powder by mario badescu

"I have found an interesting way to use this powder, I've been using it for 3 months. 3 nights a week I use this powder. I do my normal night skincare routine, remove makeup, wash and use toner. I apply my MB seaweed moisturizer and wait about 15 minutes, I apply the powder (a lot totally caked on) to my Tzone and where I have enlarged pores and I go to sleep. I wake up with smooth non-oily skin. I wash my face in the am and before I leave the house with or without makeup on I apply a dusting all over my face. It took me a week of trial and error to figure out what works best for me. If I apply too much in the am I look like a caky mess, but I can go hard at night when I'm sleeping. I haven't had a breakout since. Now if only they could figure out better packaging because the powder applicator makes a mess, I use a brush but that also makes a mess, but I have great skin in the morning, totally worth it." - ulta user

Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder by Chanel

"This powder is absolutely amazing! It is so finely ground and it goes on beautifully. You can hardly see it, yet the difference it makes is truly substantial. It sets liquid foundation WITHOUT enhancing fine lines. It also covers pores without settling into them. It is very lightweight and natural looking. It does not look caked on like you’re wearing too much makeup. It does a great job of controlling shine, while not making you look too matte or dry. I don’t need to touch up until 6 hours after application (and even then I need the tiniest amount to touch up).I purchased the ’30 Naturel’ color. I apply it with a large, fluffy powder brush to set my liquid foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere liquid foundation (AMAZING!). " - Nordstrom user

Matte Setting Powder by Cover FX

"I was wondering why I could not achieve the obvious, yet beautiful, highlighted look I have been seeing all over Pinterest and on girls' faces everywhere; then I discovered the answer to my highlighting woes: illuminating setting powder. This is my first illuminating setting powder, and it is awesome. I really like how Cover FX is a cruelty-free company, and they did a great job with the ingredients in this powder because it feels good on the skin and is very non-irritating. I do not use this powder all over my face, (although I think it would be beautiful all over due to the natural-looking glow this product gives off) but rather only on the areas I want highlighted (cheeks, bridge of nose, forehead, chin), and it gives me such a bright and pretty, yet natural, glow. I pair this powder with the Urban Decay setting spray and it stays put all day long. I believe this product would be suitable for all skin types, as it helps with oil control without over-drying. Very blend-able and an overall great illuminating setting powder. Will repurchase. « less" - Sephora user

Ultralucent Setting Powder by cinema secrets

"i have this in the light shade and experience no flashback or white cast. i have always had trouble keeping my t zone mattified and this is the only powder that does it and keeps it mattified without getting greasy/slick a few hours through the day. it is also the best for setting my undereyes without being too drying like the laura mercier is. since i have dry skin in all areas other than my tzone, i dont ever bake so havent used this to bake and wouldn't recommend baking for dry skin types. it doesnt cake up or dry out my undereyes at all like the laura mercier tends to do. it works better for me than the cover fx or laura mercier in both the skin tone matching and tzone mattifying. to avoid powderiness, my favorite brush to apply any setting powder with is the elf round kabuki and i just stiple and press. i found the laura mercier a more powdery finish and harder to wipe away. it is now my go to and i wont be repurchasing laura mercier or cover fx. i also noticed the scent of the powder and was worried about that however once on the face it's not noticeable at all. my skin is very sensitive, especially to scents, and is not irritated by it at all. it smells like aveenos soothing lotion. all in all, i use much less of this powder than others in order to get my desired effect, it's cheaper, works better, lasts a lot longer and matches my skin better than other powders, so it is now my go to setting powder. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder by Laura Mercier

"This is exactly what I hoped it would be - a lightweight setting powder that would be mostly invisible but "set" undereye concealer and other liquid face products so powder products go on smoothly over them. Similar to Hourglass Ambient Light powders, which I like but always had trouble finding the right shade. I'm a light/medium olive/neutral and Light works for me. This powder will NOT make you dewy and it is NOT a highlighting powder unless you wear a dead matte product under it - then I guess it may create some shine on top. But just applied with a powder brush onto bare skin or a dewy finish foundation, it will essentially be invisible (assuming you find the right shade for you). It has an ever-so-slight pore blurring effect but nothing significant. No problems getting product onto brush whatsoever. But again, you have to swatch heavily to get this stuff to show up but that's exactly what I like about it. Final note - the colors are a little deceptively named. I would say light is more light/medium and would not work on fair or light skin tones. Light is also a little peachy so if your skin has no peach tones in it, it may look weird." - sephora user

Make It Last Setting Powder by Milani

"I purchased this translucent face powder on line a couple of months ago, for the 1st time. I only used it to set the under eye area at first, then started using it for all over the face to set my foundation. I have dry skin. This powder doesn't cling to any flakes that I might have and does not accentuate texture. I haven't discovered any cons as of this point. It's a smooth powder, never cakey, blends easily. It brightens under my eyes just enough, not too much. I don't use a lot of concealer, and prefer a cream concealer over a liquid. This powder compliments the cream to set perfectly and allows for other powder products to blend nicely on top. I like that Milani makes this product to be travel friendly, with the interior twist cap to keep the powder contained. " - myshopify.com/milanicosmetics user

Powder Palette Pressed Powder by Physicians Formula

"I own a few powders, some are high end like some micro finish powders and I choose Physicians Formula over all of them. This stuff works great for me, my skin tone, and with the other face makeup I use under and over this. This has a very neutral tone that is not too yellow or too pink, it definitely livens up my face adding just a touch of color which I need. In the dead of winter, like feb. and march it is just a tiny bit off color for me but I just sweep it down my neck and collar bone and blend it out and it's perfect. I use this to set my foundation and it has a VERY very very subtle glow to it, it's more matte but if you look so close to a mirror you might see some teeny shimmers, nothing major I swear. I use a bronzer on top of this to do some shading and I'm all set. My face makeup lasts all day for me and doesn't make me break out and since it's powder, seems to control oil. I've tried a good dozen or so powders over the years and I have no reason to buy another. Hope it work for you as well as it does for me! Oh and I use a brush to apply this all over my face, but when I do rare touch ups I use the puff and it's great for on the go. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-6257780220932954186-full" data-show="-6257780220932954186-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user

PHYTO PIGMENTS Refining Finishing Powder by Juice Beauty

"I HAVE ACNE PRONE SKIN WITH ACNE SCARS AND ACNE MARK AND IF I DONT TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY SKIN I STILL BREAK OUT. I HAD USED MINERAL MAKEUP BEFORE (SHEERCOVER) AND IT DIDNT BREAK ME OUT BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THAT IT WENT ON GREAT AND COVERED GREAT BUT AFTER A FEW HOURS IT WOULD LOOK HORRIBLE AND IT WOULD RUB OFF ON EVERYTHING. SO I STOPED AND WENT BACK TO LIQUID WICH MADE ME BREAK OUT AGAIN. I PURCHASED JUICE BEAUTY BLEMISH CLEARING KIT AND GOT GREAT RESULTS AND DECIDED I WANTED MORE NATURAL ORGANIC MAKEUP AS WELL. I HAVE CHANGED MY LIQUID MAKEUP TO JUICE BEAUTY CC CREAM AND I USE THIS POWDER ON TOP. IN PLACES WERE I STILL HAVE ACNE MARKS I USE JUICE BEAUTY CONCEALER. THIS POWDER WORKS GREAT IT STAYS ON ALL DAY LONG, IT CONTROLS MY SHINE, IT FEELS VERY LIGHTWEIGHT, AND IT COVER PRETTY WELL. THIS IS THE ONLY POWDER I HAVE FOUND THAT DOESNT MAKE ME LOOK LIKE AND OLD LADY AT THE END OF THE DAY(AM ONLY 26). Brightening Finishing Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I tried the Porcelain Pearl first and love how it really gave my skin a wonderful bright glow, not glittery or shimmery, and blurred any imperfections, including making pores almost disappear. I use this on top of my regular setting powder and it gives a really nice glow to your skin. I sometimes add a little extra on top of my blush, especially when I use a brighter color, and it gives a very subtle iridescent look, love it! I recently purchased the Brightening Nudes and love it just as much! I use the Nudes on the days that I want a more natural subtle look. I've tried several brightening and high-lightening powders and these are the best I've found! Someone mentioned that they didn't feel they worked well on dry skin and I completely disagree, I have normal to very dry skin and they work great, not drying at all. Also, it doesn't settle into fine lines at all! My makeup looks just as great at the end of the day as in the morning and I never need to do touch-ups. I have had several compliments on my makeup since I started using this product. I will never be without it, it's now a staple in my makeup routine! « less" - Sephora user

Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Pressed Powder by Clinique

"I used to use Banana powder but over the last couple of years any powder with talc in it stings my skin and makes it itchy. For a long time I searched for a replacement for my favorite Banana powder and I've finally found it! This is a mineral powder. The yellow undertones, on me, neutralize dark discolorations from the sun. I do wish this came in loose powder, but I'll take it any way they'll sell it. I have olive skin and while I do have "normal" redness in places I don't have rosacea, sensitive skin, or flushing. I just like to use yellow/banana powders because they look better than white powders on my skin. My skin gets sallow, so it would seem that yellow would make it worse, however, the bright yellow, sheer powder has a brightening effect that never looks ashy. This powder is also excellent for controlling oily eyelids. It counteracts darkness and it brightens my eyes. This can be reapplied during the day for touchups because the color doesn't layer and get darker or oxidized. It has a refreshing effect." - sephora user

"Okay I know this sounds funny but I was roaming around looking for a bronzer & foundation that was on the cheap (compared to my usual smashbox or too faced)for work because I hate blowing through bronzer when I just waste it on going to my gross food counter job. I've tried just about e v e r y thing!! As long as your using the right bronzer brush its great for contouring, blends well, it's not very $$$, looks natural (night & day), and I love it so much that I now use it for every day and I probably wont get my too faced bronzer again to be honest!!! It's perfect for that tan glow without getting all shimmery and causing acne. Best part is-for using it everyday it's lasted me a 7 weeks. Woot woot!!! Plus- my friends have tried it & love it. Fair, olive, tanned, whatever your skin color I bet you'll agree this bronzer is a winner. 2 thumbs up :)" - ulta user

Multi-Tasking Perfecting Powder by BECCA

"I have a soft spot for Becca, their products are more about enhancing and making your natural skin look great than masking or trying to conceal. This powder is almost identical to Becca's now discontinued Perfecting Powder Foundation - which was my staple for many years. This power is light and breathable, yet build-able, it blends with your own natural oils to almost look seamless. The different shades lend themselves very well to contouring and shading which is what I think the re-launch has been aimed at. This powder is unlike any other one you will try...this product is so natural you can almost sleep in it, in fact I think I read that on the Becca website! I've used this product post facials to conceal redness and it is wonderfully soothing and calming. If you are looking for more coverage and have significant blemishes though, this might not be the product for you. « less" - spacenk.com user

TruBlend Pressed Powder by Covergirl

"I was going to order my favorite, pricey powder--one large compact can last (for me) a long time.Frankly,I wasn't looking forward to it--it's a good product but the price has gone up-again.I use a couple store bought powder only brands--Rimmel and Coty Loose. First of all, the CoverGirl displays are very nice.Colorful, organized and clean--it's a pleasure to 'look around' when the products are in proper order. This was my first (maybe not last!) purchase from the TruBlend line. The color choices are very straightforward and I was a bit worried about that as there are variations of the light shades. Not to worry! I was amazed by how smooth and color true to light TruBlend is!It doesn't look chalky and did NOT crease into my face. It's a gentle, polished powder,I had NO problems with rash or break-outs. I'll usually get a rash around the eye area,or above the cheek bone if I'm sensitive--in a day! I used my fluffy make up brush and got a 'natural' looking finish with no 'two tone' on the jar/neck line. I'm very fair and I can't tan so I'd notice THAT too! I'll probably order my department store powder--I can't fault the medium coverage--but CoverGirl TruBlend Pressed Powder is surely worth trying and buying for quality, availability and PRICE! Thanks. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - walmart.com user

Soft Focus Hydrate + Set Powder by jouer

"Omg omg omg. I’m so picky when it come to powder I have combo skin so I can be dry but also can get oily in places . This powder has slayed my face. I usually love macs skin finish in natural ( not the highlighter ). But I have tried benefit , Charlotte tilbury and just about every other powder out there just to set my foundation ( I don’t like to set my whole face with loose powder)The color of this is perfect for me , I got light now I would say if your between fair and light you may have an issue as I wouldn’t consider my face as light I wear Mac in medium plus .Now this powder is so beautiful, so smoothing and not too orange which is my issue with most powders they wreck my foundation by changing the color .I recommend this if you like your foundation to be locked in but still want healthy glowey goddess skin . I will be buying this again and trying out fair for under my eyes hoping it can replace my hourglass ambient powder. So impressed . Less" - beautybay.com user

edness Solutions Mineral Pressed Powder by Clinique

It has a refreshing effect. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-9102766612974863744-full" data-show="-9102766612974863744-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Bright Set Loose Finishing Powder by Sephora Collection

"I have tried Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening powder, BM Well Rested, Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in diffused light and I like the Sephora bright set loose finishing powder best! Laura Mercier is a transparent finish, Well Rested can get cakey, Hourglass Ambient Lighting does nothing for my skin. However, the Sephora powder does what the LM Secret Brightening powder does plus more! Because of its yellow shade it definitely diffuses discoloration. Its not too heavy and does not crease. It sets my under eye concealer perfectly! For reference, I am 36 and have loss of volume under my eyes and eye circles. I use Benefit erase paste 1st, then the Amazing cosmetics concealer next, lastly I set with this powder and I am all set! Give it a try, the price is nice too!" - Sephora user

Nearly Naked Pressed Powder by Revlon

"I have tried so many brands of face powder and I have never been completely satisfied with any of them - until now. This is undoubtedly the best "drugstore" pressed powder that I have ever used. I was so tired of spending money on high-end name-brand powders and wanted to find a less-expensive brand that still did a great job. I need look no further. Revlon is a great name to begin with and one that I have used in the past. I am 64 years old with matured fair skin...I actually use a big fluffy powder brush to apply instead of the sponge that comes with the product and it doesn't cake under my eyes (think fine lines, wrinkles) like so many others do. It's so fresh and light on my skin and it really takes so little to give my skin a nice soft cover (over a little foundation) that lasts nearly all day under normal circumstances. I never even feel like I have powder on, it's that good. I am pleased with this product and will continue to use this as my "go to" powder from now on...nice case, too. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

Nothing Sheer Pressed Powder by origins

"Many cosmetics have so many unhealthy ingredients including parabens. I switched to Origins about 5 years ago and love their products. They're natural, paraben free. This pressed powder should be called All and Everything, it provides coverage without drying out my skin and is great for moisturizing and not bringing out lines under the eyes. It's not heavy coverage but a light moisturizing powder and covers some facial pigmentation spots I have on my cheekbones. Love this product! I used to use the loose powder which I also loved but switched for better coverage." - Origins user

Mattifying Pressed Setting Powder by Nude by Nature

"I normally use pressed powders so I wasn't really sure what to expect from this product, but I love it! The packaging is the same as their Powder Foundation which looks expensive and high quality and is really practical due to the pot with a plastic insert and mesh inside to allow you to load the brush nicely and then swirl off any excess without getting powder all over. The powder is extremely lightweight and glides onto skin so easily, leaving a very delicate layer on the skin. It can be built up if you need more coverage but I find just a thin layer brushed onto my t-zone helps keep my skin shine-free without making it look dull and flat.I'm not really sure that the light-reflecting particles do much other than stopping it looking completely matte, and I don't find they diffuse my dark circles like the description suggests, but it does everything I need a powder to do so I'm not really bothered about that.A little goes a long way with this powder so imagine the pot will last ages, and it lasts all day without needing topping up unless I'm in a particularly hot environment or doing anything strenuous. All in all a really great powder which I'd recommend and will keep using. Less" - boots.com user

Powder Peaches And Cream Collection by Too Faced

"I know this has been given bad reviews, but I actually love it, I have such a hard time finding a setting powder for my under eye, I have really bad circles and every single time I try on a powder, either it makes my concealer darker or like disappear or insanely dry and cakey. I've tried every single way possible, with a bblender, fix plus, oils, powder puffs, powder brushes, dabbing them with my fingers, using only setting sprays. I've tried pretty much every powders that are raved about and this is the ONLY one that has worked for me, better than the hourglass one. I guess the tint helps making my under eye appear brighter as it corrects them a little more and gives a slight sheen. I find the best way to apply it was with my fingers, I run my ring finger into the compact and dab it on my concealer and it has done miracles for me! It sets my concealer and I have to use a lot of concealer and corrector because my dark circles are horrible. It does dry the area, doesn't dry it up, doesn't magnify my wrinkles, it's great! I know it's not marketed as a setting powder, but it definitely works for me! Try it!!! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-5118107181127341264-full" data-show="-5118107181127341264-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Matte Blur Loose Powder Mediumdeep by Believe Beauty

"I’m a fan of Milk Makeup to start - I own some lip colors and their space jam highliter palette so I was super excited to try out this setting powder. I am huge fan of the powder and how it locks in my makeup and more importantly smooths my skin and makes my pores noticeably smaller! I am not the biggest proponent of the packaging however, there’s a mesh net in between the top and the powder, making it difficult to pick up product on the brush though I’m sure it’s intended purpose is to prevent using it in excess. Aside from that, I am in love and will continue using! Please not that I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes. " - Sephora user
