"I'm not sure what happened to my face for the past 2 weeks. I've never had major acne problems or bad skin...pimple every now and then. I remember putting Alpha Hydrox Spot Light Targeted Skin Lightener (pretty much a dark spot remover# on my cheek area and outer part of my nose. Went out in the sun for about 30mins #that's the most sun exposure I've had because I do not like heat at all# a couple of days later...next thing I knew, I woke up and had like these burnt marks on my cheeks and nose. At first I thought my face was just dry so I did my routine with my Mary Kay 3-in-1 Cleanser but then when I put on my makeup #after using my Neutrogena oil free moisturizer#, mainly my foundation #cream, liquid, and/or powder# I noticed that the make-up was just sitting there and it formed like a rim around the dark spots - it was SO obvious! I noticed that I could peel some of it away when I scratched it lightly or used a tweezer, so I told myself - lay off the makeup and just put something to soften it so it can peel away faster. I used Vaseline, Shea butter, and even Neosporin at night but the flakes were still there after washing my face with the cleanser. Some of it went away but I noticed it was still there when I put on makeup and it was kind of hard like a scar. So I tried using a scrub at night, which it did help very little, but I would have to scrub my face kind of hard with Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub in order to remove the flakes, then my cheeks were kind of red and sore. I knew that things were not getting better because it would burn after using the Aveeno scrub and when putting on the Shea butter or Neosporin. So finally looked online and did some research on Tuesday, June 4th on how to get rid of "dead/flaky skin" #mind you, the past 2 weeks, I barely wore makeup#. Found this one article online and they said the key was: 1. CLEANSE #with a scrub or exfoliate# 2. FACIAL STEAM #pour hot water in a bowl and cover your head with a bath towel and allow the steam to penetrate - be careful not to burn yourself! If you feel the steam is too much remove the towel for a short period of time and go back# 3. HYDRATE #with a moisturizer with that contains ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid to draw in moisture, strengthening and plumping skin, plus SPF 30 to protect it from the sun# When researching the moisturizer, quite a bit of websites said CeraVe was one of the best and highly recommended by dermatologist. After reading the reviews, I said to myself - "Why not"!. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased the CeraVe on Tuesday, June 4th. I followed these 3 steps above and put the CeraVe all over my face, heavier application on my cheeks and side of my nose where the burn marks were and went to bed. Woke up this morning, Wed, June 5th and without even washing my face, I noticed immediately that the flakes had reduced and they were falling off! Washed my face with the Aveeno Scrub and more came off. My cheeks and nose was not hurting, it was calm, felt soft and nourished! I AM SO IMPRESSED with CERAVE. I can't believe it worked so fast and effectively. My husband looked at my face and said "It looks much better" #and this is a man of few words#!! I know my comment/story was long but had to be thorough from beginning to end for you to get a better understanding of my experience and why I rated the product the way I did. Like I mentioned, not sure what I had, dry skin, sun burn or if it was due to the skin lightener I used. In summary, I'm going to continue this process until my face returns to its normal state. I think CeraVe will be my new daytime moisturizer - it doesn't clog your pores, makes your skin feel soft and smooth, and in my opinion its great healing source for burns, dryness, flaky skin, etc. For only $12 at Wal-Mart...it beats a trip to a dermatologist and paying a co-pay of $25-50, right? So TRY IT, seriously doubt that you'll be disappointed. A. Little - 34 yr. old, Ghanaian Women Shepherdstown, WV" - walmart user

"I have been using Vaseline brand Original 100% Petroleum Jelly ever since I was a child, and now, in my 30s, I still think it is a miracle product with a million and one uses.As a child, any time I had dry lips, this is what my mom or dad would give me to remedy the problem. And you know what? It worked like a charm. I grew up for years and years using this as a natural chapped lip remedy, and I still use it as one. Now, as an adult, I have found so many other uses. I have used this product for my own babies' diaper rashes and as sort of a moisture barrier protectant when changing diapers. I use vaseline to treat dry, cracked winter skin. I have even put it inside my nose when my nose is so dry it is about ready to bleed from the dry winter weather and air, to keep it moist and from cracking. Sometimes at night I will lather my hands completely in Vaseline petroleum jelly, put on the little manicure mittens and then sleep all night with them on. The next morning my dry, rough skin has completely vanished, as Vaseline petroleum jelly never fails to create soft, supply, moist skin where dry skin once was.Needless to say, I love this product and have been using it for my entire life. It has endless uses, is natural, and extremely inexpensive. The smell is mild and one jar will literally last forEVER. This product is a must have in every person's medicine cabinet. « less" - viewpoints.com user

"I am using sebamed products for my baby like diaper rash cream, baby wash and baby lotion. They all are awesome products so just thought of giving this one a try. But I am highly disappointed as this cream caused rashes on my babies face and probably some burning sensation as well coz baby cried on applying this. I used it just twice and then stopped using. I had an impression that sebamed products are hypoallergenic but trying this one was a disaster. " - www.firstcry.com user

"I don't think I could ever say enough about this product! I have very dry and eczema prone skin, which only gets worse during the winter months. I'm particularly prone around my eyes which leaves me very limited in the products I can use - even my prescription moisturiser is very painful to use when the skin is inflamed. This stuff is a lifesaver - I can apply it around my eyes at night with no pain and wake up free from dryness and flakiness. I also use it on my lips and hands and I'm certain it would work wonders everywhere else too! I would happily pay double the price for this product considering the results, and it really is a case of a little goes a long way. I've also started using it sparingly under makeup, which stops the makeup clumping and looking vile around dry patches during the day, and keeps it in place for much longer too. I would recommend this anyone wanting to be rid of dry skin asap, but particularly those with sensitive skin - this is the most gentle yet effective product I've found so far.. and I've tried a lot! "I really like how lightweight but hydrating this is. My skin type is oily, but often gets dehydrated (not to be confused with dry.) I like that this has hyaluronic acid to get my skin moisturized without clogging pores. I see many reviewers saying it's not truly oil free, but the oils included are tea tree and lemon, which are essential oils rather than something greasy like coconut oil or olive oil. Tea tree is likely included since it's antibacterial/antimicrobial, and lemon can help lighten acne scars, and I personally like their inclusion, but I know some people can be sensitive to them, so patch test first if possible. Overall, I find it to be a good gel-cream for acne-prone, oily skin and worth a try. " - ulta.com user
"Just started using Vanicream and I love it. I have very dry skin that is also quite sensitive. I had been using Amlactin lotion because it was recommended to me for rough, dry skin. While Amlactin did help with the rough texture, it just was not moisturizing enough, especially during the dry winter months. My skin still felt dry, so I wanted something more emollient with longer lasting moisture. I got a free sample of Vanicream to review and I am really happy with it. In looking at the Vanicream ingredients, I was worried that it was going to be like Aquaphor, which I do not care for because it feels like vaseline. Vanicream is the best of both worlds! It is NOT GREASY AT ALL, but is creamy and extremely moisturizing. Long lasting moisture, too. It is thick, but not overly thick so it is easy to apply. It is a little tacky feeling at first, but sinks in to your skin pretty quickly. I love that is fragrance free. It just has a nice, neutral clean, no smell smell. I use it on my hands, arms, elbows, feet, and it is gentle enough to use on my rosacea prone face. « less" - Target user

"When I was pregnant as a first-time mom, the best advice i ever received was from a co-worker who swore by Aquaphor. I have used on Aquaphor on my son with every diaper change, and he is now 2 years old and NEVER has diaper rash. This is an amazing product. I have also used it on his extremely dry skin, scrapes from falling, blemishes on his cheeks and his chapped lips. I cannot say enough about how well this product works." - toysrus.com user

"I have been using Complete All Day Moisture Cream on my face since about the time I turned 30. I never worried about wrinkles until I turned the big 30! I wasn't taught to use this by my mother or sister. They never used anything like this cream. My sister still can't believe that I even use it when I go out side to do yard work and such. She says it will just sweat away but I put it on even when I am mowing for 3 hours. I have never been told much that I am pretty but I have people tell me how few wrinkles I have on my face! I won't go outside without it in the summer, winter, spring or fall. I start with the gentle foaming cleanser first thing in the morning let that dry and then put on my Compete moisture cream and I am ready to start my day. I love it! "Finally, a facial moisturizer that meets all my needs. I have sensitive skin that becomes clogged easily. This cream not only doesn’t clog the skin, it seems to help heal breakouts and leaves the skin stronger, more balanced, and resistant to congestion or irritation. I have finished my third tube and my skin just keeps improving. This cream absorbs into the skin leaving no feeling of any residue sitting on the surface of the skin. It is unscented and extremely soothing. I can’t even count the number of facial moisturizers I have tried on my easily irritated breakout prone skin. This simple product seems to have completely solved my facial skin troubles. I started using several Bioderma products about 6 months ago and my skin looks and feels better than ever. The quality and effectiveness is exceptional. " - dermstore user
"I have always had super sensitive and dry facial skin. I have used Clinique dramatically different moisturiser for years as it’s the only facial moisturiser I could find that didn’t irritate my skin. Having ran out of my usual moisturiser and being a bit low on funds I sceptically decided to purchase the 100 ml Aveeno cream. Like so many off the shelf creams, I imagined it would irritate and sting my skin and end up in the bin pretty quick. How very wrong I was! 5 months on and I am still using it and delighted with the results. It doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest. What amazes me about this cream is it isn't specially made for the face. Compared to my previously used and more expensive facial moisturiser I am confident to state it moisturises better (gets deeper into the skin) and has actually reduced my skin sensitivity and reactivity. I am a total convert. I also use it as a gentle but effective eye make-up remover and it’s great on your legs after shaving. As it is so affordable I have tubes of it everywhere. I have a 200 ml of the daily moisturising lotion sitting on my desk at work which I use for my hands and face. Now that we are approaching winter I also love the 200 ml skin relief with shea butter. In my opinion putting the skin relief shea butter lotion on your face at night with a few drops of high quality rosehip oil (great anti-ageing properties and for sensitive skin), would give companies selling very expensive night creams (also laden with harsh chemicals) a run for their money. Finally a wee tip – the ‘100 ml Aveeno cream’ is exactly the same cream as the ‘500 ml Aveeno lotion’ (consistency and ingredients are all the same) so a lot better value to buy the 500 ml if like me, you become a convert. « less" - boots.com user

"This is one of those products I cannot live without! I started using this cream 11 years ago when my daughter was a baby and I still use it every day. My son, who is two now, does not go to bed without this cream on his little bottom. If he gets really chapped, and I am talking raw and kicking and screaming when you touch him, I lather it on and the rash is COMPLETELY gone the next morning. I am not kidding! It is just wonderful. I love the smell and I love that it does not have zinc in it. It doesn't leave that hard to get off crust that zinc does. It is like lotion. You rub it in and it disappears. I don't rub it in though, I just leave a thin or thick layer depending on if he has a rash or not. I am never without at least 3 tubes (one upstairs, one downstairs and one in his to go bag). It works well on any kind of skin irritation (burns, chapped skin/lips). I also by this for all new moms that I know. It's too good not to pass along and so worth the money! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user

"I was born with eczema and also had psoriasis. Always dry skin which ascerbated these conditions. This product is THE ONLY skin cream, including prescriptions and doctor recommended ones that works. If I get swayed by a new cream, a "pretty cream" and try them my eczema and a few spots of psoriasis return. It's not in the least greasy, soaks deep but leaves a "topping" that keeps moisture in for days. It's changed it's packaging and name a bit. Used to be in same shape container but was called Emulsion. DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH THEIR LOTION. Or any other body cream product. They do not work as well or as this does. I've even used it on my face and neck and it smooths out the wrinkles or dry skin lines. I can't find it just everywhere. I don't know why. I even wrote them once as I thought it may have been discontinued. It wasn't. But I told them please don't discontinue it as I'll be devastated. It's that good. "Olay's luminous whip with SPF smells good, feels great and the texture is amazing - so soft, super light and moisturizing. It helps even my skin tone, making it look better & brighter. It quickly absorbs leaving no residual "sticky" feeling. The dry patches I get at the end of the day are nowhere to be found as my skin stays hydrated and smooth. "I never had acne until this year so my derm perscribed adapalene + benzoyl peroxide AND differin and my skin was destroyed. Some days my skin was sensitive that even splashing it with water was painful. My skin became super dry, inflamed, flaky... So I went back to my derm and told her I wanted to give up. I prefered acne over having pain everyday. She told me I should start using this EXPENSIVE cream with ceramides and that would make a huge difference. I went to r/asianbeauty and read some reviews about this cream so I decided to give it a shot. I use it as my last layer at night (because this is thiccccc) and in the morning I mix it with squalane oil to make it lighter. This saved my skin and I cannot go without it. "For facial reference: I have sensitive skin with an extremely oily T-zone, enlarged pores around my cheeks, and some pockmark/acne scarring (I use to have severe acne as a teen, but since I hit my mid-20's I don't often get pimples anymore.)PROS:- extremely moisturizing (this will soothe the driest of skins and even works for oily skin)- inexpensive (the quality matches higher end brands but at a significantly lower cost)- great for sensitive skin (this has a very soft scent and I experienced no irritation)- versatile (I use this mainly as a moisturizer, but I've also used it to treat sunburn and dry feet)- no residue (leaves skin feeling very soft and moisturized; doesn't make skin sticky)CONS:- NONE (but I do wish I could buy it in whole sale!) "My son is 11 months old and has moderate eczema. There was a noticeable improvement to his skin after 1 day with 3 applications. I put this on him allover once a day and then I apply to his problem areas an additional 2-3 times a day. I agree that this cream is expensive however you get what you pay for and I believe the quality of the product justifies the price. For awhile I was using another cheaper product, famous for using beeswax, however because it is very thin and mostly aloe based I was using two or three times as much product with very little results. This cream is thick and a little bit goes a very long way on little backs, little arms, and little legs. Some of the other reviewers claim other lotions work as well but maybe their childs eczema is more mild. This product is always in stock in my home. If your child's skin is dry, sensitive, red, irritated, etc. please give this product a try. A 4 oz tub typically lasts me 3 weeks with the daily usage described above. « less" - Target user

"I liked Gold Bond products before but I LOVE this line of Gold Bond moisturizing products. I use the body lotion as well as the body wash. I live in Utah where dry skin is a problem year round but in winter I would turn into a Halloween decoration without my Gold Bond body lotion and other in this line of super moisturizing lotions, creams, washes, gels, and powders. I have RA and the secondary skin condition that causes extremely dry skin as well as living in a harsh climate. In addition I have an extremely rare genetic disorder that causes premature aging. So you see my skin is the ultimate testing ground for any product line claiming to moisturize. If it helps me, I think you will love it as well.ScentSome of the scents are not the greatest but they are certainly not overwhelming or objectionable. After I apply the cream the scent does not last long and becomes close to an unscented product.AbsorptionI am amazed that such a rich lotion is not greasy and heavy and does not leave my hands feeling sticky for hours but it does not. I can apply the lotion and return to my regular activities unlike with other brands that I have tried that I have had to wait until I am finished with everything for the day and hope that I do not need a drink once it is applied as other products make it hard to hold things like glasses and such.EffectivenessI noticed a big difference after the first application and after each application my skin gets better and better. "I've suffered from extremely dry, flaky facial skin since adolescence. Nothing I tried ever solved the problem. No amount of exfoiliation or heavy emollients would help, but just offered temporary relief. 12 years later, this product has essentially cured my dry skin. I started noticing a difference after a few days, and about a month later, I have hardly any flaking at all. Just one thin layer keeps my face moisturized all day, and even if I skip a day and use a lighter moisturizer during the day (this one works best as a night cream, especially while your skin is still healing and shedding from the salicylic acid), my skin never suffers or feels tight or dry. I do think the ceramides make a massive difference in restoring the skin to a healthy state and helping it fight off infections. My breakouts are significantly more mild than before. To illustrate the difference of before and after Cerave, I could never apply foundation with a buffing brush because it would ruffle up all the flakes and look horrible. Now, I can. And I could probably wear any kind of foundation I wanted to now, honestly, without worrying about it clinging to dry patches. It even has helped with congested pores (keratosis pilaris). It can't clear them out, but once you've cleared them, it helps keep them uncongested for longer. I use this after exfoliating with a fine polish (like the citrus one from St. Ives) or a facewash with a microfiber towel every evening. The only catch is because of the salicylic acid, I can't put it around my eyes or it will start shedding the top layer of skin when when it doesn't need to be shed. So I use a hyaluronic acid moisturizer for the eyes. I would pay double for this kind of miracle-in-a-tub. I grabbed the last one on the shelf when it was on Rollback. The lid was cracked and I didn't even care. It's amazing. I will never use another face cream." - walmart user

"I am so pleased that I as able to try out this cream as not only does it sink in well making it a perfect base for makeup without the need for a primer, a tiny bit goes a very long way so think the jar will last a while making it good value for money. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and my skin feels softer, smoother and looks a lot less dull, it looks more dewy and glowy and I have felt confident to wear less foundation. My skin looks a lot less tired and my dark circles and eye bags are definitely improved. I cannot fully give an opinion on whether or not it has reduced wrinkles as I didn't really have many to start with but skin definitely looks firmer and crows feet around the eye area is reduced. The cream only had a slight scent which was good as some skin creams can be overpowering. I also didn't find this cream to rich for my skin as although I am 44 I find that creams meant for aging skin can be to thick and greasy and rich and cause breakouts but Olay didn't. « less" - supersavvyme.co.uk user
"This body buttercream is a sweet treat for your skin that will leave you coming back for more and more, time and time again. Compared to other lightweight options from the Soap & Glory product line, this buttercream is supposed to be more of a 'heavier' option when it comes to packing in the moisturization and while it delivers, you would never guess it was heavy in any way, shape or form. It's truly lightly whipped and somewhat airy and spreads onto skin like a dream. I personally have found that it absorbs quite fast and leaves behind no residue, though I would also say that a little of this product goes a long way, so if you are one to slather on your body lotions/creams, do so with caution. Although this 'heavier' option is great for dry skin, I would not say it would be something to replace a more concentrated daily product (such as Nivea, Eucerin, homemade concoctions, etc). When I use this product on certain areas of my body that require more special attention or moisturizing needs than I feel this product alone would offer, I will lightly layer it with another 'staple' in my regime. While I'm obsessed with the scent of this buttercream, I can understand why others may turn up their nose; if you are not fond of sweet-themed or decadent/edible scents, this could very well be something you may need to steer clear of. The sweet vanilla and almond notes are the most noticeable, and although the scent cannot be missed upon opening and applying the product, it does not stay as strong upon the skin. It fades out wonderfully, leaving a rather light, bakery-fresh smell that I have gotten many compliments about since I've started using it daily. If you find you like this buttercream/scent, I would HIGHLY recommend trying other Soap & Glory Smoothie Star products; when layered or used together, the warm, inviting scent lasts long into the day. Hands down: Smoothie Star Body Buttercream is heaven in a jar. Period. Bless Soap & Glory and all of their awesomeness." - ulta user
"I'm always skeptical about trying things that sound more or less like a fad product, but my skin has been so angry and irritated from stress and lack of sleep that I needed to take a leap of faith and slug up. I am SO HAPPY that I did.First, let me remind anyone reading this that this is snail slime. Plain and simple. The texture is a little funny at first. But oddly enough, I love it. It absorbs so easily into my skin, with little to no tackiness. I use it twice a day, and it's become my favorite part of my otherwise bare bones and simple routine. My skin calmed down (redness and pain from adult acne) pretty shortly after my first application. As in, an hour or two. After a few days of using it twice daily, I noticed that my acne was healing faster, and my somewhat sensitive skin wasn't getting near as irritated from the retinol I'd been using. On a deeper level, my skin felt like it was healing. It only took three days for me to notice the texture of my skin becoming more plump and smooth- which is crazy. This did not stop my breakouts or help with hyper-pigmentation from previous breakouts, but it's not really supposed to. It helped them heal faster, calmed redness (thus reducing the pain of my acne), and in my opinion, prevent new hyper-pigmentation, and dramatically smoothed the texture of my skin. For that, I am beyond grateful. It's also not a moisturizer, but helps with elasticity. Haven't noticed a difference in laugh lines, but didn't expect to.This does not have a smell, and the bottle comes with a handy pump. The product is sure to last you a while, as I use 2-3 pumps of it twice a day (sometimes more, since I live in a humid climate and have taken off my makeup or showered mid-day a few times) and after a month, there's still 2/3 of the bottle left.I've never written a review for a beauty product, but I just can't get enough of this stuff. Highly recommend for anyone else with combo/sensitive/acne-prone skin. Less" - ulta.com user
"I got this cream for myself because I started to notice sun spots on my face. I'm 35 yrs old. I bought two, one for me and one for my mom. In just a few days my mom looked AMAZING. Everyone was complimenting her on how young she looked. I also noticed a great difference in my skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and was worried it would make my skin red and irritated but the product is great. I researched if there was the same product with SPF and went out and got that but THAT ONE irritated me a lot so I had to return it. I would recommend using Complex 15 as a base lotion (very light and great for summer) then Aveeno SPF30 ultra calming FRAGRANCE FREE for daytime/sun exposure and in the afternoon or evening, use the C cream. Another excellent product I just tried was Derma E C cream that smells so yummy and also hydrates the skin very well. If you're in a colder climate with drying winter winds, the Derma E C cream is similar to this cream but I felt like it moisturized much better than this product but they are all great and like I said, my mother looks AMAZING after just a few days of use. « less" - Swanson Health Products user
"Env: development**Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E **is the best lip moisturizer that I have ever used, and heaven knows that I have used a whole bunch of them! My lips stay chapped all year long. During the winter and the fall they are chapped from all of the cold weather and the wind. The sunshine and the wind from riding in the boat keeps my lips chapped in the spring and summer months.I use a lot of **Palmer's Cocoa Butter** products. Their creams and lotions work wonders for my terribly dry skin. Their products also help smooth my blemishes, stretch marks, and help my elbows and heels not feel so much like alligator skin. **Palmer's Cocoa Butter **products also smell good enough to eat. I remember I was in Wal-Mart that day. They sell all of P**almer's** wonderful products. Of course I picked up the package and read what it had to say. It sounded good to me, I decided I needed some of it, so I bought a .5 ounce stick for about $3.50. I have used this product constantly ever since that day. (Not the same stick, the same product. Wanted to make myself clear about that).**Palmer's** says it's **Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E** is "*for Marks, Blemishes and Rough, Dry Skin* and that it also "*moisturizes dry, chapped lips."* I have never tried the swivel stick for marks, blemishes, or rough, dry skin. I use their other products for those purposes. I do use lots and lots of it for moisturizing my dry, chapped lips. Let me tell you, this is a really super-wonderful lip moisturizer and it soothes chapped lips better than anything else that I have ever tried. (Did I say that already? Sorry if I am repeating myself. I just want you to understand that I KNOW this product works because I have been using it for years). My lips can feel dry, rough, dehydrated, chapped, and painful. As soon as I apply some of my **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E **on them, they feel better instantly.I also like **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E** because it is like other products for chapped lips in the fact that it is small enough to fit in my purse. But I like it better than other products for chapped lips because it is larger than they are. One swipe of it on my top lip and another swipe on my bottom lip, and that's all it takes. I don't have to rub it over my lips three or four times to get enough of it on them for it to work. I also do not like products that have to be applied by squirting them on my lips. That's messy and most of those types of products feel greasy, which I also have a problem with. I know, I'm picky. I can't help it. I really dislike having to squirt a product on my finger and then apply it to my lips. That's gross unless you have washed your hands ten seconds prior applying the stff on you lips. I am not into applying germs to my lips along with the chapped lip remedy. **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E **solves those little quirks of mine while it moisturizes my lips. I think that the Vitamin E it contains helps my lips to stay younger looking, too. I use lotions and creams with Vitamin E in them to keep my skin healthy, firm, moisturized, and younger looking. I figure Vitamin E probably does the same thing for my lips.My children also love **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E**. I had to buy them their own sticks because they wouldn't leave mine alone. You would think that children would like the cherry, strawberry, or grape flavored stuff better, but mine don't. They prefer the stuff that smells like cocoa. I'm glad they like it because I think it works so much better than those cheap chap sticks. There aren't very many ingredients in **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E**. *"Cocoa (Theobroma Cacao) Extract, Mineral (Paraffinum Liquidum) Oil, Microcrystalline Wax/Cera Microcristallina, Cocoa (Theobroma Cacao) Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate Vitamin E, Fragrance (Parfum), and Carotene (CI 40800)." *That's only seven ingredients, and even I understand what they are. I like that, too.I do not like the fact that I am almost out of my **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E**. I forgot to get some of it the last time I went to Wal-Mart. Maybe there's another stick in my beach bag. I hope so. There should be because I try to keep one in there as well as one in my purse. If there isn't, I'm going to have to steal one of my sons' sticks. Hopefully they won't notice that it's gone until I can buy myself some more and put theirs back. If they do notice that it's gone, I can always profusely claim my innocence! I'm just kidding. I wouldn't lie to my children. I'll tell them to hush. I paid for it in the first place and I'll replace theirs as soon as possible. That will have to do because I need **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E **worse than they need it, and I am the queen of this house. End of discussion. End of this review, too. I do believe I have made my point about the wonderful attributes of **Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick With Vitamin E**.Env: development Less" - viewpoints.com user
"After staring at the plethora of lotion options at my local Target, I finally decided on Jergens Ulta Healing. Despite living in the humid tropics of South Florida, my skin has been very dry and itchy as of lately. My skin isn't exactly sensitive, but when it is overly dry I am careful not to use anything with a bunch of added gunk.I found the scent of this is lotion to be very light and reminiscent of my childhood somehow--grandmother maybe? I was pleasantly surprised when I lathered up after a shower and shave. My skin sucked up the lotion. There wasn't any greasy residue and within a minute of putting the lotion on, I didn't feel like I had anything on my legs or hands and arms. Though my skin sucked up the lotion, it feels great. I'm prone to not using lotion regularly because of the residue it tends to leave behind--not this stuff, which is great for an "ultra healing" lotion, which tend to be thicker and more intense.I also have ashy elbows, yet my arms are usually well hydrated. I decided to try the lotion on my elbows--they aren't scratchy what-so-ever. As for my arms, despite not seeming to need a moisturizer, they sucked up the lotion's goodness, too, and again, no greasy or thick residue was left behind.Overall, I'm happy with the choice I made. My skin feels soft. The light scent is pleasant and not an irritant to my sometimes sensitive skin--especially my legs. And the best part, no greasiness or tacky residue left behind. It is quick absorbing and long lasting. The Jergens brand has always been a brand of high quality in my mind--this product is well worth the small price tag, and a great find as a drugstore lotion. « less" - jergens.com user
"I’ve struggled with finding the right products to use for my baby’s super sensitive skin. He suffered from really bad rashes, almost eczema like, all over his face and body. His skin is very dry and rough to the touch. I’ve changed his body wash a couple of times already but his skin condition still did not improve. I was researching for the best face cream and found this face cream. After using it for couple of weeks, my son’s face becomes soft and smooth again. The rashes and dry patches disappeared completely. I was so pleased with it that I also bought the body lotion the following week. I will definitely buy this again once run out. " - well.ca user
"Best lotion for year-round use. I live in a 4 season climate state and have used this lotion year-round for more than 5 years. I have sensitive dry skin and there is no other lotion that comes close to the mosturizing benefits of this one. It actually feels like there is a protective layer of lotion that stays on your skin after the lotion is absorbed. I can't rave about this lotion enough! I love smelling the tropical scent on a cold winter day too! " - Walgreens user
"I have been through SO many lotions. I have very pale skin that can have a tendency to look dull or lifeless, as well as being dry during the winter. I had been using body oil during the winter and it was really heavy, as well as nearly causing me to slide around on floors on a regular basis. When I saw this I decided to try it, and I AM ADDICTED TO IT! It makes my skin feel so soft, while the oatmeal calms my skin wonderfully. I love the way it makes my legs look because it gives them a soft glow coming in to spring when I wear dresses. My skin can be sensitive at times, and with minimal fragrance this is perfect, just simple and natural smelling. I will definitely be sticking with this for a long time. Everyone should have this either for all over or any difficult rough patches of skin! Less" - aveeno.com user
"I have used this brand and type of lotion for several years, since discovering it. I am an adult and use it exclusively for dry skin and love it. I think it is high quality for moisturizing, very gentle but effective; I use it on my face, hands and body. As for the person who made such negative comments about its scent, I do not understand that at all, nor do I agree with it. My family and I all find it to be a very subtle, slight, almost non-existent scent - on all of us - and not just at the beginning but throughout wearing it day and night. It is not a "baby lotion" scent, nor a perfumey scent at all; it's just the slightest kind of clean scent, very inobtrusive, not even noticeable at all. We all love it, all ages, men and women. Good ingredients, easy to use. Best product. I just now went to smell it to make sure of my impressions - and yes, it smells wonderful but very gentle and subtle, just the barest clean scent. That negative reviewer must be confused! « less" - walmart.com user
"I had a bad stress-induced eczema outbreak that caused pock marks all over my body - yes, because I scratched them... I know, tsk tsk. I was using Aveeno skin relief 24 hour lotion, as I have for many years, and unfortunately was not doing enough to prevent the itching, hence the scratching. Once I started using this, I noticed an immediate impact - lots of hydration that left my skin smooth and truly did calm the itching. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't sting on any open/irritated spots, and it helped them heal much faster than normal. The high moisture kept any scabbing soft, helping prevent me from picking at them (terrible habit)! This is now my every day moisturizer that I put on after showering (except my face) and throughout the day if any spots start to bug me. It's done wonders for me! I use the body wash now as well. "I had heard of Palmer's before but had never really tried any of their products. The Palmer's brand isn't something I associated with facial skincare but this product has changed my stance on that! The Palmer's Coconut Water Facial moisturizer is quick-absorbing, non-irritating, non-greasy, layers well under make-up, and gives you a refreshingly hydrated and smooth-to-the-touch feel. I've worn this in the morning and at night as the instructions are to apply twice a day however I find that you needn't use it twice to see reap the benefits and notice a difference in your skin. The formula really is light and refreshing although it has many oils and extracts and it has no greasy feel which is surprising but also a huge plus as it is easily compatible for different skin types. The scent is kind of like a sweet cream and coconut mashup but it dies down as it dries. The moisturizer has calmed redness around my nose and cheeks which continues to be reduced even after I remove my makeup and the next day after use. This, however, is not a claim the company makes but it has been my experience with the product so insertion of this effect seems relevant. The product comes in a jar so I wish they would provided a spatula for hygienic purposes. This won't be an issue if you have extra spatulas or generally like using your fingers instead of a spatula. I also really love how natural this moisturizer is, I think super moisturizing and beneficial moisturizers that are natural and don't cost a ton are super hard to come by so this product really is a gem. Overall, I really enjoyed this product and will continue to use it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new moisturizer and/or anyone trying to use more natural, non-irritating, products on their skin. Less" - palmers.com user
"I have been using this product for I don't know how long. My mom got me started on Olay when I was in my early 20's. I have been using complete for several years. I will turn 50 in August and I believe that it has helped keep my skin younger looking. I don't have all the fine lines and wrinkles that even my younger friends have. Oh there are a few, but not that many. We went on vacation and I had to go to the store to get some because I forgot it at home. My husband said "It's only a week. Can't you go that long without it?" I just gave him a look and went to the store. I don't like going a day without it. Best product I have ever used. It is light weight and non greasy. "I knew this cream would be too rich for my oily/sensitive/acne-prone skin, but the ingredients are GREAT so I tried it as an eye cream and it ROCKS. Its light so I can use it during the day, and when I use it at night, I don't wake up with swollen eyes like I have when I've used others (expensive and cheap). It moisturizes very well. My eye area tends to dry out and I have started to see some fine lines (I'm 26). After ONE DAY of using this cream, the lines were less visible and the skin felt soft and firm. In my opinion, this cream is great if you want to have healthy, youthful skin without using harsh chemicals. As an eye cream, it's cheap, because you get a HUGE jar for half the cost of department store brands. I think anyone with less oily skin will reap amazing benefits by using it as a facial moisturizer. I love all of the Alba products I have tried so far, and they get a big thumbs-up for being cruelty-free! Less" - drugstore.com user
