Rouge Velvet The Lipstick by Bourjois

"I have fallen in love. These lipsticks are incredible - the pigmentation, the coverage, the staying power, the shades, the matte finish and for the price = best lipstick ever! These have to be the best lipsticks that I've tried in a very long time, and this is coming from a huge high end beauty junkie! The shades are all amazing - I have them all! The shades are perfect for A/W season and with lots of shades to pick from to suit your style or skin tone, there's something for everyone. They all suit my pale skin really well and I love the matte finish that is created after a few minutes when the lipstick dries on your lips. It's a super hydrating formula for a matte finish. They apply really smoothly and full coverage. The high precision bullet is incredible! You can really get the shape you want and line your lips with the lipstick sharply.I really love the packaging with how the tube colour is the colour of the lipstick... as a beauty junkie I have tons of lipsticks, and searching through them all is a mission daily to find a shade to wear, but with these you can see and grab straight away, knowing the shade of lipstick without reading names and opening up tubes.Highly recommend these!I received these lipsticks complimentary for testing « less" - superdrug.com user

Matte Lipstick by NYX Professional Makeup

"I love this lipstick. I wear only red lipstick i've tried pretty much all brands that are under $20 a lipstick. This is my fav lipstick so far.I was like its $6 it can't be that great i was so wrong. This lipstick lasts longer than any lipstick i've tried that wasn't a 24 hour wear i hate those 24 hour wear they flake off and make my lips feel like i put dry wax all over them. I will say this lipstick is somewhat drying but it has to be for the lipstick to last. All those glossy lipsticks only last about 10 mins or once you eat or drink this lipstick pretty much stays in place when i eat or drink only the inner part of my lips need a touch up it depends really on what i'm eating most times the lipstick stays in place after i eat and i don't have to touch it up and sometimes i have to do a touch up. But i can put this lipstick on and it will last hours without a touch up without eating or drinking of course. If you use a straw when you drink you won't need a touch up at all most ladies i know who are crazy about lipstick only drink with straws so they won't ruin their lipstick its a great cheat to have to make your lipstick last for hours while you drink. I will say i have tried you what most women do to make their lipstick last longer i blot it with a tissue and add some powder on top and when i do that it lasts all day with me eating or drinking it makes your lips feel really dry though. As a person who has been wearing lipstick pretty much 24/7 for the last oh goodness how long has it been 15 years or so this is my fav hands down. I really love the revlon matte lipstick it was the best until i found this one but the revlon matte is my second fav after this one. The revlon matte isn't as drying but it also doesn't last as long or hold up as well as NYX but thats because it does have a little gloss in it so your lips won't feel as dry so if you don't like this NYX matte lipstick try the revlon matte it costs a little more and it won't last as long as the NYX but if you want something not as drying then thats your best bet. But i just add a little eos lipbalm on my lips when my lips are a little chap and add the NYX matte lipstick on top and that keeps my lips from not feel as dry it does make the lipstick not last as long but it helps with the drying. If you want a lipstick to last all day it is going to dry out your lips if you want a lipstick to make your lips feel and look shinny it isn't going to last and it becomes messy when your hair gets in your face and so on. This is the best lipstick i have found that's under $20 i have it in every shade of red they have and i never leave home without this lipstick. It doesn't bleed,it stays in place, the shades are true to color for the most part for the reds they are true to color i don't buy any color but red so i don't know about the other shades always look at them at the store to be sure. I just can't see how anyone who wears nothing but lipstick could hate this lipstick. If your a lipgloss kind of girl then you probably won't like this its thick, bold and heavy coverage because its matte. If you like light coverage in lipstick then don't get this. If you want a strong, bold lasting lipstick then this is for you. « less" - ulta.com user

Colour Elixir Lipstick by Max Factor

"I ordered this for myself after recently trying a tester in boots, I'm so glad I did the colour is beautiful (rosewood) and it goes on like a dream. It's a soft creamy texture that is not overly glossy like a lot of lipsticks these days but also is not matte, I would place it somewhere in the middle of the two. The colour stays on for a good length of time even after eating or drinking, about 5 hours without any touch ups. I also got it at sale price so extremely please with my purchase, good old max factor always been a reliable, good quality brand. " - very.co.uk user

ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor by Revlon

"Some mature women might have been hesitant to choose this vibrant color to test (Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor, 520 Neverending Purple, 0.07 oz), but I just LOVE purple and know older ladies can use bright, bright pinks and corals to great effect, so I thought, "Why not purple, too?" and I'm glad I did!I don't care that I've been wearing makeup for decades now. I never get tired of playing with it and I feel it gives me a pulled-together look and a look that says I care about my appearance. In fact, I was able to be a receptionist for a billion-dollar company even in my late fifties. The makeup helped me look "polished."I think a mistake women make is to be scared to use bright colors if they are older, if their skin isn't "perfect," and if they feel their features aren't "perfect." Hogwash! Brights look GOOD on ANYONE, it turns out! Not only do the COLORS look good, the CONFIDENCE shown is appealing, too! I no longer ask myself, "Oh, what will people think?" when choosing makeup and clothes. I ask myself, "Do YOU like this?" instead! Life's too short, people!Well, I'm talking a big talk, but I did apply the color lightly, just a dot on each side of the bow of the lip, then spread it out with my pinkie to corners for the top (put a dot, pull to side, put the other dot, pull to side), and a bigger dot on the bottom lip and pulled to each side with the pinkie. It gave a wonderful pop of color without emphasizing the lines around my lips. If you are young or don't have the lines yet, use the precise foam brush to fill in the lip with color, instead of spreading a small amount out with your pinkie. On my daughter-in-law, the solid, intense color looks fantastic. When applied lightly, this color is a vibrant pink with purple tone. When applied solidly, it looks more purple, but not a blue-based purple. It's a red-based, meaning it is more in the pink family. The name is truthful: Color-STAY. Yes, it stays and stays. I don't even retouch during the day.Have you seen Lipsense's Violet Reign? This reminds me of it, color-wise. Lipsense is all the rage, but I don't like it. I like, frankly, the Revlon and the Maybelline long-lasting (and 24-hour) lip colors. The Revlon Colorstay I especially like: It doesn't dry my lips, it's reasonable in price, and it lasts longer on me. I can layer it and pull it with my pinkie and it covers beautifully. It isn't patchy when I do this. BIG positive.I don't use the gloss end of the lipstick (it comes with the foam tilted coloring-in brush on one end, and a pointed brush-like tip for the gloss on the other) because I like a matte lip with bright colors. For a pinky-brown lip, yes, I'd use the gloss overlay. But for me, I like matte brights. « less" - walmart.com user

Outlast All-Day Lip Color With Topcoat by Covergirl

"I have always been a big fan of Outlast. I have tried some of the other all day brands and keep coming back to this one because you get more applications per tube, dries quicker, doesn't peel off, gloss is not real slick or wet, and doesn't dry my lips out like some do. I only wish that they could put both color and gloss in one piece so that I don't have to carry two seperate appl;icators. Also, be careful with the color samples offered if they are a roundish swish of color as they are lighter than the actual color. Try to look closely at the actual picture of the product for a truer color match. Remember, as far as I have found, there is no such thing as "all day wear," unless you don't eat or drink. You will need to re-apply after meals, but it does stay put for most of the day. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-6626100064237683756-full" data-show="-6626100064237683756-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user

Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick by L'Oreal

"I was a little bit skeptical about trying L'Oréal's new liquid lipstick at first but I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did try it. I went with the color plum and it looked fantastic on me. Love the packaging, this lipstick comes in this slick soft clear tube and the applicator has a different shape to it. The applicator's head pointy for precision application and also oval with a hole in the middle. Putting this liquid lipstick on right the right way is key, so make sure you don't mess it up. L'Oréal /infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick is well pigmented and stays on the lipstick for a very long period of time. I put it on before I went to dinner and didn't have to reapply it at all. I then decided to go for some drinks elsewhere and by the time I got home my lips still looked the same. The only thing with this lipstick is that it doesn't dry out right after you apply it. Also it will feel sticky for a while before it feels completely dry and you start forgetting about it being on your lips. All in all, compared to other brands and other products, L'Oréal did a great job with this liquid lipstick. My lips don't feel dry after a long day and it is definitely one of my favorites so far. P.S. Make sure you have make up remover with you whenever you want to take it off, otherwise it wont come off :) <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="2480653329971433821-full" data-show="2480653329971433821-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - lorealparisusa.com user

Color Statement Lipstick by Milani

"All in all I found these lipsticks to have a wonderful creamy texture and great pigmentation. Overall their opacity was great with one exception. They applied very easily and smoothly with no tugging skipping or pulling and felt good on the lips almost a bit silicone-y (which I really like). They did not feel drying at all though not particularly moisturizing either and they did not seem to accentuate lines in the lips. Like all matte lipsticks they definitely require prior exfoliation because they will catch on dry spots (some more than others). Compared to the original Color Statement lipsticks these are more creamy and silicone feeling while the originals have a slicker more balm-like feeling to them. I've tried Naked Blissful Orchid Passion and Glam. Passion is the least opaque though still very pigmented and full color and Glam is the most patchy though not unbearably so. I'd say they are well worth the price though and great lipsticks overall.";"";"" Less" - myshopify.com/milanicosmetics user

Continuous Color Lipstick by Covergirl

"Env: developmentOfficially, **Cover Girl CONTINUOUS COLOR Lipstick** has been put out to pasture. But tell that to *Amazon *which is still sending it out at top dollar. In fact, *numerous* other merchandisers put prices on this longwearing, moisturizing lipstick from $3 way up to $13! There's still plenty around to try or to stock up on if you're really committed. If you like a gorgeous palette of colors and an emollient-rich lipstick, potentially at bargain prices, go on the search now. I found my **Continuous Color** in a barely-there, *Sugar Almond* shade sale-priced at *Walgreen's. *After using a liplining pencil, I fill in the **Continuous Color** then top it off with my all-time super lip moisturizer *Carmex for Dry Chapped Lips*. [www.viewpoints.com/Carmex-for-Cold-Sores-Lip-Balm-Tube-review-714f6][1]If my troublesome, chronically parched lips become dry with this routine, I change the order from lipline to *Carmex* and finally to highlighting with **Continuous Color**. Either approach works for me without smearing and *with* the comfort I would wish from all lipsticks. As the supply of **Continuous Color** narrows, **Cover Girl ***Lip Perfection* will have established itself in much the same role. Soft Matte Lip Cream by NYX Professional Makeup

"This has a matte finish but a feel to me, feels like a balm or a "cream". It takes a little long to dry down but it's good for those with very dry lips since it doesn't suck out too much moisture like the suedes or lingerie. Compared to the suedes, it's a little bit slicker and if you have problems with lipstick cracking, these won't do it. It takes a while to dry(I timed it at 20 minutes) and the finish LOOKS powdery matte. It isn't transferproof but the it hardly comes off on my fingers and never bleeds into my lip lines. The pigmentation isn't as good as some of the liquid suedes but it's very buildable. Interestingly enough, no matter how much I use at one time(1 thick opaque layer vs thinner sheerer layers), it takes the same amount of time to dry. My favorite usage of these is layering under and over liquid matte lipsticks that crack on me. My lips are naturally very hydrated so these provide a little bit too much hydration for me and slip a little toomuch. However, my best girlfriends with drier lips love getting these as gifts so I always give them some as little goodies. The last a lot better on them than on me. This product does break down with food but reapplication is very seamless and easy. It feels very lightweight(and sometimes slick) on the lips and lasts like a regular tube of lipstick. The color range is beautiful. I've bought some from the 1st release and the two times Nyx released more. It has a little bit of everything and I hope Nyx continues releasing more fun shades like a black or a green or a greige. One of my favorite shades is London which is a bit too nude-brown to be a MLBB unless I sheer it out but I like layering it with other(too matte) lipsticks to warm up and tone down a neutral color so it's more like a MLBB terracotta color. It's a little bit more brown and less red/pink than Abu Dhabi. Stockholm is less brown/nude and is brighter. All these shades are gorgeous, I just wish retailers had testers for all the shades since it's a bit of a guessing game. The true color is only found once you open them since the outside is a thick opaque plastic that doesn't necessarily match what it's supposed to be Less" - nyxcosmetics.com user

The Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick by Physicians Formula

"This is my dream lipstick. I've been looking for a buildable red lipstick that doesn't feel heavy and doesn't dry my lips out. Sometimes I like just a -hint- of red, sometimes more, but I NEVER want to feel like my lips are dry or sticky. This lip butter is so smooth and soothing, and the color really varies between soft and bold depending on how heavy your hand is in applying (I have Rio). It fades off pretty easily, which I don't mind- I've come to terms with the fact that no lipstick with a texture I like will have staying power. What I really love about this lip butter is how smoothly it wears off. No weird ring around my mouth, just softer and softer red into pink. Plus, it's not super matte or super glossy, just a nice shine like a lip balm.I think the "blue" that people are noticing is from the pigment staining dry skin. With Rio, the dry parts of my lip will be stained noticeably pink for the rest of the day after I use it- I'm assuming whatever color causes the blue has heavier blue pigments. But that pigmentation is part of what makes this lipstick still look good while it wears off. Less" - ulta.com user

Infallible Never Fail Lip Color by L'Oreal

"Wow, I cannot believe how smear-proof this product is. The color stays on all day. First, I apply one layer of the color and allow about a minute or two for it to dry. Then, I apply the clear coat for a glossier finish. I sometimes add a second coat if I want an even brighter color pay-off.The color product is the one that is smear-proof. The clear coat, on the other hand will rub off throughout the day. For some people, the color gloss may be a bit "drying." This product is not like those regular glosses that are thick and creamy. My recommendation is to moisturize the lips with balm before going to bed every night so that the lips are moist and supple in the morning. Remember, though, your lips must be clean and dry before applying this product! The package recommends that you take off the product with oil-based makeup remover but I think using olive oil is a great and cheap alternative. Just mix a teaspoon olive oil with a teaspoon or two of granulated sugar to remove the product and exfoliate/moisturize your lips.Overall, I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants a color lip product that will last the entire day. Rimmel x Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick by Rimmel

"I received this lipstick free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I really like the fact that this lipstick on application had a creamy texture, which made it very easy to apply to my lips. I noticed when I initially opened this lipstick it had a nice smell to it. The color I got was a rich muted pink of which I do not currently have in my make-up collection, so this was something new to me. I'm not sure it's the right shade for me specifically, but I will try it with several other combos of make-up to find the best look. The variety in the color choices is very good. 15 shades to be exact. So everyone is sure to find a color that suits them. I believe this lipstick is long wearing. Even after eating and drinking there was still noticeable color on my lips. And it seemed to moisturize my lips well. Overall, I think it is a good product and if you are looking for something new to add to your make-up collection this could be it. I think I will be checking out and purchasing a few new colors myself!" - walgreens user

Matte Lip Color by e.l.f.

"These products are phenomenal. I have never been much of a lipstick person, but occasionally I'll wear a red lip for a special occasion. During my initial courtship with Elf products a few months ago, I decided I'd buy a few of them and give them a shot. And I'm so happy I did! I've been collecting them ever since.First of all, let's talk product quality/application, and then we'll get to the specific colors. The size of these lipsticks are awesome, especially for someone with small lips like myself. It helps make application much more precise, which is always a bonus in my book. They are also a very light finish. One of the reasons I've never liked lipstick is because it leaves my mouth feeling heavy and tacky, but not these ones. I hardly notice I'm wearing anything. The color is long-lasting, and even though some of it may rub off on, say, a coffee mug, it's does not seem to affect the appearance on your actual lips. What's coming off is the excess color, but the majority of it is staying put. Now that being said, I do use a lip exfoliator and chapstick a little while before I do my lipstick (I have not tried the Elf lip primer, but it's one of the next things on my list to buy!) and I also use the Elf Makeup Mist & Set spray on my final look. This routine has helped me with avoiding creasing in the fine lines of my lips and in prolonging the life of the color. I drink a lot of fluids throughout the day, so I do have to touch up occasionally, but not nearly as often as I would have to with an average lipstick. Now, the colors. I own Nearly Nude, Natural, Tea Rose, Coral, Hot Commodity, Rich Red, and Wine. I find myself consistently reaching for Coral, but they're all beautiful colors. I have noticed that Nearly Nude and Natural don't seem to be all that different from one another, but all skin types are unique, so that may not be the case for someone else. Tea Rose is a beautiful light pink/purply color, but just not my favorite for my skin tone. Coral is a gorgeous, subtle pink. Perfect for putting a little bit of color in your lips. Hot Commodity is SUPER hot pink, like Barbie-style. It's a stunning color, but perhaps too girly for me! I rarely use it alone, but instead tend to add a dash of it to Natural or Nearly Nude to soften the boldness a bit. Rich Red and Wine are both amazing shades of red, and are easily my go-to red lip. They are beautiful and long-lasting, and, at least for me, require less frequent touch-ups than their lighter-colored counterparts. If I could get away with wearing a bold lip every single day, I would use these all the time. But I still see red lips as a special occasion shade, so I don't wear them as often as I'd like to! That being said, I prefer Wine just a smidge more than Rich Red, because it is a tad darker and more dramatic. The best part about all of these colors is that you can experiment. I've mixed a few colors just to create some different shades, and the results are always pleasantly surprising. I can't wait to get Cranberry (come back in stock soon!) and Praline. This was an extremely long review, but I know how difficult it can be to shop online, so I wanted to be as specific as possible. I hope I've helped someone who was on the fence about purchasing!Pictured: Rich Red, Coral, and swatches of the ones I own (left to right: Nearly Nude, Natural, Tea Rose, Coral, Hot Commodity, Rich Red, Wine) « less" - elfcosmetics.com user

Matte Liquid Lipstick by Morphe

"This IS an amazing sexy perfect shade red! I saw it on Jaclyn Hill and knew it would look just as good on me since I’m blue eyed and can get fair like her but it also goes on tanned skin. It’s hard to find a bright red that isn’t too blue or too brown or too pink or too orange. This shade nails it. Everyone should have this universal shade. It’s the perfect pin up pout red and I can’t wait to wear it this summer or the right occasion. It feels great on and not at all drying or heavy. Sheer velvet. LOVE! " - morphe.com user

Lip Lingerie Push-Up Long-Lasting Lipstick by NYX Professional Makeup

"Nyx did it again with a great lip product. When I received this I didn't think much of it. I'm not really into opaque lip products on my lips, I go for more tinted lip balms and just chapsticks and stuff. But I can't deny a good lippie when I try one! First things first, the product is smaller than your typical lipstick which is good and depending on the price, bad (if it's the same price as a regular lipstick that's double the amount of product). Ok so when I applied this it was so easy to do. It is velvety when applying, even though it is matte and doesn't have a bit of glossiness, it is surprisingly effortless to draw on and so smooth looking. I usually have a hard time with perfectly shaping it on my lips but the shape and size of this makes it very simple to do. Lip liner is not necessary, this stuff is kind of a big lip liner in of itself, it's rich, stays on and doesn't move a inch. Even after drinking there was close to nothing on my cup. Plumping wise, it does have a cool kind of minty feeling on the lips, not that uncomfortable burning spicy feeling some have. It's quite the opposite, actually. Really I'm just astonished at how nice this looks on my lips! I really don't like lipsticks on me that much but this stuff looks amazing. The pigmentation is really good so if you are one to overdraw your cupids bow or anything this will look really nice. When I try that with other lipsticks you can totally tell that I'm overdrawing them. Honestly this lipstick is the closest thing I've seen to acting like a liquid lip without being a liquid lip. The product also has a sharpener on the bottom end so you don't have to worry about it going dull. All in all, I will definitely be wearing this a lot and I'm even thinking about buying more shades. (I received the shade Push Up.) Less" - nyxcosmetics.com user

Moisturesmooth Color Stick by Neutrogena

"I bought one of these color sticks on soft raspberry about a month ago I'm on my second one. I do not like the look and feel of matte lipsticks and glosses I prefer lip glosses and tinted balms so this fit the bill. These are highly pigmented but give a sheer wash of shine and color. The cot is sheer enough where it is building so you can have a soft tint or a bold statement lip all from one product. The formula is unbelievably moisturizing it has sonderful mango and Shea butter my lips tend to get dry and chapped in the winter and these color sticks leave them beautifully soft and smooth and they stay soft from the time you apply it and long after you take them off! I hope they do not discontinue them .i am what to write different shades in the future in these beautiful tinted balms. We have a real winner here. « less" - neutrogena.com user

All Day by Covergirl

"I read the negative reviews and know, that in most cases, it's not the product but the application which has a bit of a learning curve to itTake the doe foot out of the color tube and scrape off most of the product, then outline and then fill in with one thin layer. The next step is crucial! Don't put your lips together. Keep them apart until the product dries at least 3-5 minutes. I usually put the color on, put my mascara on and then apply the clear topcoat.Do apply on clean dry lips. Don't apply it too thick. Don't blot your lips. Don't put on the top coat to early. I promise there will be no flaking or balling up of the product if applied correctly. Also use the top coat that comes with it. Any lip balms with Vaseline or mineral oil will take this right off.If you follow these steps and practice you will have long wearing lip color that lasts for 8-10 hours easily, with no transfer onto anything or anyone and the shade you put on will stay that way without turning into some other hue. (Now it isn't a tattoo so If you eat, drink and swim all in one day it will get lighter but it won't disappear!) I stopped wearing "regular lipstick, lipgloss etc. Since I have been using this my lips are not as dried out as when I used traditional lipstick and I use it on days that I'm staying in for that reason. I keep a top coat in my bag for reapplying when needed. For removal like I said anything with mineral oil or vaseline, or just leave it on and by the next day it's gone.Outlast has the best selection of colors and there is at least one for everyone! I have back-stock of this stuff. Mac came out with it's version of this and it's good, but for twice the money. Maybelline is good but this is better. Once I got the hang of applying I learned how to mix colors, apply with my finger for a "stain" look, and even reapply (if needed) where the color started to fade. For me this has been one of the best inventions in cosmetics. Give it a shot and maybe you'll feel the same. Less" - ulta.com user

Moisture Renew Lipstick by Rimmel

"A few weeks ago, I received a complimentary Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick from Influenster in the shade “As You Want Victoria.” Right away, I fell in love with the packaging, which is a glossy purple with a crown on top (very me!). I wanted to try it on as soon as possible. The first time, I was shocked by the amount of color payout from just one dab. It glides on very smoothly because of the creamy texture. Also, the name doesn’t lie about it being moisturizing – it even saved my lips from a bit of suffering when I happened to wear it running. This lipstick is also very long-lasting. Though it faded a little, it remained pretty visible through an entire day of school. My only qualm would be that the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick gets on everything it touches, a downside to the great pigmentation. I have to be extremely careful around glasses, spoons, food, and even my teeth. Overall, I’ve gotten multiple compliments on this gorgeous, vivid shade and liked this lipstick so much that I even wore it for my performance in the school play and I’ll continue using it for as long as it lasts." - walgreens user

Lipfinity Lip Stick by Max Factor

"Traditionally, long - lasting lipsticks have often felt heavy and drying with a rather unattractive thick, matte look.Max Factor's Lipfinity lipstick definitely bucks the trend.I got a really vibrant red which isn't a shade I would normally wear but it certainly made it a lot easier to test - it was instantly noticeable if any traces were left on cups, glasses and to see how much was left on lips.Applying the lipstick, it felt pleasantly moisturising, and this effect lasted throughout the day. There is no stickiness, or greasiness, just a sense of wearing a quality product.I will definitely look out for the other shades that are nearer what I do wear. There is nothing more frustrating on a night out than spending ten minutes applying and blotting, only to have your lipstick leaving your lips in the first hour of wear.Lipfinity puts an end to that. « less" - maxfactor.co.uk user

Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor by Revlon

"Loved loved loved this Lip Color. The Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse Hyper Matte was absolutely fantastic. The formulation was unbelievable. It has an amazing thick consistency. It goes on so smoothly, has a mousse like formulation and it's highly pigmented. The shade I tried on was Death Valley. It's a gorgeous mauve color. The finish of the lip color is a true matte. It doesn't feel drying on the lips. Considering it is a matte lip color, it wears comfortably on the lips. I wore it for hours and wears beautifully. It was extremely long lasting. It lasted for hours without any retouch. The packaging is exquisitely designed. I can easily take this lip color along with me in my bag and also easily fits in my back pocket. Great for traveling. I own a couple of these and I'm continuously adding to my ever growing collection. Less" - ulta.com user

Stay Matte Liquid Lip Color by Rimmel

"I received this on a VoxBox, and I'm glad I did, because this liquid lipstick is AMAZING. It feels really light on my lips and it's not super drying. I lile the formula a lot: it dries down really soft, and it is super pigmented. When applying it's not patchy which is a pro. The wand its really nice too. I would buy for sure. Rouge Edition Lipstick by Bourjois

"I having been looking for matte red lipstick for a long time, I initially bought shade"hot pepper", absolutely loved the coral, bright red colour, it lasts few hours without need to touch up, does not transfer, never once had lip colour on my teeth with this product, I was so impressed I bought 2 other shades "pink pong" and "personne ne rouge", pink pong is blue based barbie pink, perfect for summer, personne ne rouge is a beautiful dark wine red, lovely autum colour. This lip colour goes on like lip tint but much more opaque in colour, so it is slightly drying, use lip balm first and again after removal of lip colour. Personally I find this is least drying long lasting lip product I have used. " - boots.com user

Infallible Pro-Matte Les Macarons Scented Liquid Lipstick by L'Oreal

"If your looking for a liquid lipstick that stays on for hours and doesn't smudge, L'Oreal INFALLIBLE Pro-Matte Les Macarons Scented is your product! It lasted the whole day for me without reapplying. I ate, I walked, I worked, I worked out, I showered and it was still there! I've never experienced a longer lasting lipstick! The color choices really brightened up my face as well! I liked the sheen, but not so much the stickiness. Mon Caramel, Praline De Paris and Framboise Frenzy were my color choices. I'm usually more neutral and thought the Framboise Frenzy might be too bright a pink. It wasn't, it was a lovely shade of pink that looked beautiful on! I really loved all the colors. The applicator gives you a lot of control to apply. It glides on easily. The pointed tip works well for precise edges and the flatter center fills in with great coverage. It should be applied carefully, as a little goes a long way. This product seems to go on and stay in place. It sets fairly quickly. I noticed an issue with staining, so stay in the lines and use a tissue, not your hand or fingers to blot or adjust. Light weight and long-lasting color! Matte Liquid Lipstick by LASplash

"I was surprised how hydrating the formula to these liquid lipsticks are! With some of the other brands I have tried, they dry my lips very quickly. The formula is super creamy and the colour is very pigmented. Stays on for hours and no need for re-applying. Latte confession is one of my favourites and definitely an everyday go to colour." - beautybay user

Full Throttle Lipstick by NYX Professional Makeup

"Okay, this lipstick is the real MVP. I usually don't like to wear lipstick to classes or to work because I drink a LOT of coffee during the day and I always end up with very sad looking lips. But this is amaaazing! The lipstick shape makes application so precise- I don't even wear a liner with 'Trickster.' Plus this stayed on for an 8 hour serving shift where I'm constantly talking to people, it stayed on through drinking coffee and water, AND it stayed on when eating food. I'm very impressed. It stays pretty tacky but my lips never felt dried out and it wasn't something I noticed or that bothered me. " - ulta.com user

Water Light Tint by A'PIEU

"I'm super picky about lip color. Texture is the most important thing next to longevity and color/shade. The texture of this is fantastic. It's watery, but not too thin. Has just enough thickness to adhere and spreads well. Not sticky at all like most tints/glosses. Sinks right in so it doesn't even feel like you're wearing anything. Coverage is buildable, so you can do one layer for a more natural look or add more for deeper color. It's opaque enough for the color to stand out yet sheer enough to blend with the natural shade of your lips. Doesn't make your lips super glossy. Once it sets, it is sort of like a lip stain. And surprisingly it lasts quite a long time - I didn't have to constantly reapply it to maintain a hint of color. Easy to use a lip balm, chapstick, or sheer gloss on top of it depending on your needs (moisture, shine, etc). And it does not dry my lips out or make them all peely which is fantastic. This is by far my favorite lip stain/gloss/lipstick EVER. So far I have two in different shades and will be buying more in the future. Less" - yesstyle.com user

Color Sensational Elixir Lip Lacquer by Maybelline

"With very flaky dry/acne-prone skin, I need a foundation that is both full coverage AND not drying. That's pretty difficult to find. Add sensitive skin to the mix and you'll find yourself in a pickle, until you try this.I've tried a lot of foundations on the market, low-end and high end. I've spent a lot of money trying to find the right foundation, and for the past 5-6 months had been using Revlon Colorstay foundation with Softflex for dry/normal skin in Ivory. For me, it was good enough and I liked that it was pretty inexpensive. I saw Amarixe (youtuber/blogger) talk about this foundation a couple of weeks ago and say that she liked the normal Colorstay formula (like me) but liked this too. I decided to pick one up to try it, even though I was a little worried about the matte finish formula since I'd had trouble with some in the past.I am SO in love with this foundation. More than any other foundation I have EVER tried. The coverage is about medium-full without having to pile a ton on your skin. It feels light on my skin (unlike a lot of other higher coverage foundations!), and the finish is AMAZING -- so silky and soft! I also haven't noticed any increase in breakouts since starting using this everyday, which is great.I really had never tried a foundation that didn't look a little flaky/tired at the end of the day, but this really does stay on well without drying my skin out more and still feeling silky/soft.* Revlon claims that it should last 24 hours... I haven't tried to keep it on that long, but I'm a little skeptical of that claim. It does hold up pretty well for at least 12 hours though, with pretty minimal breakdown -- even in this hot summer weather! I always set foundation with Tarte's Smooth Operator or Mac Fix+.The formula is definitely more of a thick cream -- less "whipped" than the name leads on. I've been applying it with a dampened Sigma synthetic kabuki brush (an F84 or F82). The formula is pretty easy to blend/buff into the skin.My biggest complain is that the packaging is unhygienic. I hate face products that I have to dip my fingers into. I've been using a small spatula thingy to get a bit on the back of my hand (I use a little less than the size of a quarter), and that's been working well. While unhygienic, I really like the thick, sturdy/heavy glass jar. It might not be particularly light traveler friendly, but I don't mind it. The little plastic insert/topper on top after taking off the actual lid is a little annoying, but I'd rather have to take it off/put it back on every time than have the product leak out!I'm typically an NW15 in the winter, but am now (summer) closer to NW20. I ended up buying it originally in the color Buff (thinking my skin might be a bit darker from these past few weeks of sun) but that ended up being a tiny bit too dark/yellow toned. I purchased another jar in Ivory, and have been mixing the two together for amazing results. All in all, if you have sensitive, acne-prone, dry skin and have been struggling to find a good foundation, TRY THIS. I have a feeling I'll be using it for a LONG time to come.*I use this on freshly cleansed, toned, and moisturized skin... I use Celestial moisturizer from Lush in the morning before applying it, and I haven't found this foundation drying at all. « less" - drugstore.com user
