"I have drier skin. This foundation really is not as drying as many people say. I make sure to exfoliate my skin before I use the foundation. I put moisturizer and moisturizing primer before I apply it as well. It does oxidize a little bit. However, it is not as bad as the superstay foundation and for how cheap it is, it is not a big deal. It lasts the entire day. I would not say it is a matte foundation as loreal claims. I mean I do use moisturizer beforehand, but it is not totally matte. I do not use powder and throughout the day oil does not build too bad. Throughout the day, the more natural the finish becomes. It does not settle into fine lines anymore than any other good foundation would. It is full coverage. I have recieved tons of compliments on it. I totally recommend, as finding foundations that suit my dry skin is sooooo difficult." - mira user
"I've tried a few foundations from physician's formula that have actually been amazing (youthful wear, argan wear bb cream) but the shade range has been so bad that I could only use these if I have a tan. This one really surprised me with the shade range, the quality of the product and the packaging. I got the shade LW2 (the lightest warm shade) and it is a perfect match. For reference, I am close to the shade 120 Buff in Almay's Best Blend Forever foundation. I didn't notice any oxidation with this foundation. It has a medium coverage - but it looks smooth and flawless. it also doesn't pick up on any of my dry patches, or break up on me throughout the day as most foundations do. I apply this with a real techniques blending sponge (which is my preferred method with every foundation). It has a natural finish - I don't feel like I need to set it on my combo skin. Lastly, I wish this would have a higher SPF or no SPF at all. SPF 20 isn't enough for me to wear this without any other sun protection, and it may cause flashback. I have not tested it for flashback yet so I do not know if that will occur. As for the packaging, I personally love the large doe foot applicator. It's so easy to apply the perfect amount every time. I wish the bottle was plastic, not glass though. It feels very luxurious but I'm afraid I will break it if it drops.I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review. « less" - walmart.com user

"I received the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation to try for free from Top Box Circle. I have to admit when I first saw that I was given the Ivory 10 that I thought that it would be too light for my skin. I also thought the small tube wouldn’t last very long. But boy was I wrong with both of my assumptions!I applied the product sometimes with my fingers and sometimes with a brush. Either way worked extremely well for me and blended into my skin for a natural look. I had even skin tones and the foundation didn’t cake and actually softened my fine lines. And it doesn’t take much of the product to achieve your natural look!I have extremely sensitive skin and this foundation was amazing. I didn’t develop any reaction to the foundation and the scent was not noticeable at all. I applied the foundation in the morning and tried applying it sometimes after I put on a morning cream and sometimes directly on the face with no moisturizer. I wanted to see if there were any issues with dryness. There was no noticeable difference and I loved how my skin remained hydrated throughout the whole day even if I didn’t apply a face cream beforehand. The colour ivory blended well with my skin tone and blended extremely well for an all day look. I liked how my skin looked more alive and had a nicer tone and glow than normal. It was very lightweight and I like how you can’t “feel” that you have foundation on at all.I would love it if the foundation had some sunscreen built right into it. Outside of this one wish this is definitely something that will be added to my makeup routine. "I'm 24 and recently I've been struggling with acne and acne marks worse than when I was a teenager, so I went into Ulta ready to spend tons of money on a great foundation. What I found was that almost all of the high-end foundations clung to the small, nearly-invisible dry patches on my face (mostly around spots that were healing). I have oily to combination skin, so this was really a surprise! I had been using Colorstay (Shades 150 or 180 in the "Oily" line) for a while, but the lack of a pump made using it a hassle and a mess! So I decided to try this on a BOGO while repurchasing Colorstay...and I ended up liking this even better. For comparison, it's thinner than Colorstay while giving comparable coverage. The consistency makes it easy to blend all over my face and then go back over problem areas with another layer of foundation to augment coverage; this way, it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask. My skin has definitely been improving and I can leave the house with just a thin layer some days. For reference, I'm a 2.0-3.0 (winter-summer) in UD Naked and I wear 10-30 in this line. I recommend this to everyone I know and even got my mom hooked. A must try! « less" - ulta.com user
"I bought this in natural beige (I'm Greek venezuelan, so I'm a light olive, but with dark hair and eyes). The ONLY reason I bought this was because I was VERY desperate. I had NO money for makeup and my smash box BB cream (which I wear in light/neutral or light/medium) was basically dead. I have very dry, red, acne prone skin. My acne is getting better, it's mostly red and sorta pimply cheeks now. The smash box did a good job of mostly covering the acne, but I had to use a little bit of concealer for redness. So I had very low expectations for this. I am a totally name brand makeup snob. I can't remember the last time I bought drug store makeup. Probably in middle school. I had actually bought this foundation a long time ago, but it stank and felt tacky. I however ended up trying it again since it was so highly rated. Let me tell you, it will take a miracle foundation for me to start buy that expensive stuff again. It is the perfect amount of coverage for me, it's perfect for my dry skin, and it blends flawlessly (I use the benefit foundation brush). It looked too pink when I put it on my hand at first (I have a somewhat yellow undertone, so I use yellowish makeup), but it covered my redness really well and it looks so natural and feels weightless. I never write reviews but the moment I finished putting this on I was so impressed I sat down and immediately wrote this. This is an amazing foundation. My only con would be that this might be a little to hard for beginners to use. It's a thick liquid consistency, and it might dry too fast if you aren't good at blending. I really recommend using a foundation brush." - ulta user
"God yes. If you're not aware of what Accutane is, it's a strong acne prescription drug that makes your skin extremely dry. It wasn't my first time taking accutane so I knew going into it what would happen to my skin. So I went to my local drug store and picked this one out-not knowing what I was getting into going into this. Ive never used a foundation by this brand but it was the only foundation that pretty heavily branded 'heavy glow', so I bought it (plus it was super cheap compared to others). Let me just say I never had high hopes for this foundation. I have an extremely hard time finding foundation that works for me and considering I was about to go through skin h*ll for the next 8 months I wasn't getting my hopes up. Long story short this foundation was a holy grail. I never once had any dry patches through a 12 or 15 hours I had this on. Occasionally if I knew I was touching my face a lot that day I'd have to quickly powder and blend my face some. that was really the only con. I applied beautifully and so smooth once you powder your face. My contour and highlight blended well with it and all in all Im super impressed. 2 months after I finished Accutane (finished my 3rd bottle) I ran out and didn't have time to go to the store and pick up more so I used some of my foundation I used before which was some high end pricey foundation. Lets just say I went through the day feeling like my face was the dessert, and looking so cakey. immediately that next morning I picked me up some more pro-glow. I will never go back to anything else and will honestly be devastated if they discontinue this. If you know you have dry skin or if you're on Accutane or some other skin solution that makes your skin dry PLEASE use this. I promise you'll never want to use anything else. This saved me from 8 months of h*ll because honestly I loved putting on my makeup knowing I was going to look glowey and flawless. « less" - ulta.com user

"**L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19** is a light, airy, non clogging mineral makeup that I use very often. I use "Nude Beige" during the winter months, when I don't have a tan at all, and I use "Sun Beige" during the summer months, when I do have some color from the sun on my face.I like this mineral powder foundation VERY much! It covers flaws, uneven skin tone, and other imperfections without the feel of a heavy cream or thick compact foundation.I use it more often during the spring and summer because you can't even tell that I'm wearing any type of foundation, but it makes my face look smooth and healthy. It doesn't sink into fine lines and wrinkles as other types of foundations do, and it's a lot less expensive than "Bare Ecsentuals" yet it works just as well for me.I love the big fluffy applicator brush that twists off of the top of the container to reveal the mineral makeup. It makes applying this makeup very easy and very even. It also gives me a healthy glow that looks extremely natural, and feels natural, too.The only thing I don't really like a lot about **L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19** is that it can be a little messy. The mineral powder easily falls off of it's brush and onto my counter and into my sink if I'm not careful. Still, that's not a big enough problem to downgrade my rating of the product. It's almost impossible to apply any loose mineral foundation without making a little bit of a mess. It's worth it! Just make sure to apply the makeup before dressing--I mean wear a robe or big nightshirt while applying makeup, then put on whatever you're going to wear for the occasion, so that none of the foundation gets on your clothing.L"Oreal's description of this product is: *"L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19: "a pure, powdered mineral foundation that gives your complexion a flawless finish without irritating skin. Just dip the brush into the powder foundation, give it a shake, then apply to skin. SPF 19 sunscreen is added to protect skin."*When I have to get all dressed up to go somewhere nice, I sometimes use a really light coat of this product over my liquid or cream foundation, and it gives me a matte finish that's perfect and flawless for special occasions and nights out on the town.**L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19** protects my facial skin so that it doesn't get burned by the sun's rays, it makes my face look smooth and healthy, and it feels as light as a feather. It's applicator brush is large and fluffy, too, and it makes this mineral foundation easy to apply evenly and quickly.I like this affordable mineral foundation very, very much. "I just love this stuff. Bought on vacation as I needed something. It is very natural looking, does not feel like a foundation, more like a tinted moisturizer but dries with a silky velvet texture. I do not need powder over this to set it; it sets and dries on its own (hate powder) and lasts all day long. I usually use a TM and am finding those to be too thick these days and goopy. This provides just enough coverage to make me feel "done". For those with dry skin that want a light to medium coverage - doubt it will work with oily skin. Only bad thing I can say (and I have tried so many foundations - hated them all), is that the bottle cap is horrible. Wish it came in a tube or pump to keep it sanitary and not spill. This is the "old style" glass packaging for a foundation, and its a "new style" skin finish style foundation so Almay needs to get with the program. Also has a light smell and wish it had no smell but it is not too overpowering. If this continues to work, I will be thrilled as I am now spending $55 on the same amount of foundation (high end stuff) and this is nicer, better overall color, finish, texture, etc. « less" - drugstore.com user
"For my base I used the concealer on all of my blemishes which I what I normally do on light days instead of caking on foundation. I love using stick concealers for this because it's always so much quicker and easier. I used the shade light and it was a really good color match for me which is lucky. It applied really easily with a brush and sponge which is awesome and I didn't have any trouble getting it to stick to my nose which is always a good sign. I would say it's a medium coverage concealer with a natural finish. It's not quite dewy OR matte, it just looks like skin and I love that because my ultimate goal with all of my makeup looks is to make my skin look healthy and natural. It evened out my skin tone really well but didn't cover every single blemish and freckle which is nice because it looks less like a mask and more like my skin. It didn't feel heavy or look cakey at all and I noticed that the area around my nose and above my top lip didn't separate or look congested which is something I really struggle with because those are the oiliest parts of my face so I was honestly really happy with the outcome. I didn't feel the need to layer it at all but I did try to on my chin just to see if it was buildable and it definitely was which is great. "My skin has always been dry and acne prone, yet oily on my nose and forehead. For the longest time, I have used acne medications, and fortunately, most of my acne is gone, but my skin is still sensitive and breaks out if I don't maintain my skin care routine daily. I have been using Neutrogena's skin-clearing liquid foundation, which has worked fairly well for me, but lately, my skin has looked dull because of the salicylic acid's drying affect on my skin. So, since Neutrogena has never let me down yet, I might try another of their liquid foundations to try and solve my dry skin problems. After searching and searching and looking through about 100 reviews, I decided on buying this foundation the next time I went to the store. The next day, I eagerly cleansed, medicated, and moisturized my face, and put this foundation on next. INSTANTLY, I noticed a difference in the way my face looked...I looked radiant, glowing, flawless, hydrated, and incandescent...and yet, I felt like I wasn't even wearing makeup! In fact, it didn't even look like I was wearing makeup, but that I had a naturally perfect complexion and had merely moisturized my face thoroughly. My acne scars were covered nicely without looking cakey, and my skin felt silky soft and smooth while wearing the makeup, and after taking it off. Having had a typically dull and matte face all the time, I was in awe of seeing my face have a healthy shine that didn't look greasy, even on the oily parts of my face. I've been using it for only a week now, and have even gone biking in the heat while wearing this foundation, and I am pleased to say that I have not had a single breakout or redness from sensitivity from wearing this foundation. The fact that it has added SPF is an added bonus, since I can't normally wear sunscreen without looking greasy. "I've never been disappointed with anything I've bought from this company and this foundation is no different. It gives a medium buildable coverage with a beautiful dewy, lumionous effect to the skin. I have dry to combo skin and this covers everything I need it to, pores, minor discolouration, redness & the occasional hormonal breakout. It feels like you are wearing nothing on the skin. It moves with you, is highly moisturising and gives a lit from within look. If you are looking for a matte finish with powdering this still gives the skin a life like appearance. I love it. I normally wear Diors air flash foundation. The price may be low but do not let that deceive you. I'm a very high end girl and this has given the look that the most expensive out there do. The shade range on my porcelain skin is incredible and I was able to match 1st time round with their large range of colours. I love this product and will be repurchasing. Another fantastic item from the ordinary. A big thank you to Wayne Goss for first bringing this company to the forefront of my mind years ago. I've been using their skin care for years and was over the moon to see they have now branched out in to mcosmetics." - beautybay user
"I was so excited to get the 3 in 1 foundation in the mail since I've been looking for a drug store foundation that actually worked. I loved that there was a bigger selection of colors to pick from and I LOVED that it came in a pump bottle. I was however, worried about getting the product online because you can't be sure if it would actually match my skin color. I went with the color Ivory which online seemed a little too light, but when I got it in the mail, it seemed a little too dark in the bottle. I immediately had to try the foundation out if the cover was right for me, how it felt, the coverage and so on. As of right now I don't have any acne I just have red patches and a little bit of acne scars here and there. I applied one and a half pumps and used a stipple brush on one side and my fingers on the other side. USE A BRUSH OR BEAUTY BLENDER! For me personally, using my fingers made me extremely cakey but the side I used my brush turned out amazing! It's not a full coverage foundation by any means but you can add another layer and that helps build it up and it still looks amazing! I put the foundation on just to try and my husband complemented me right away saying the redness was gone and it didn't even look like I was wearing anything on my face, which is another thing. You cannot feel this foundation on your face. It doesn't feel foundation, it feels like a light powder on your face. The reason I say it's better than a high end product is because it does the same exact thing as a high end foundation-it's just way more affordable! Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a drug store foundation that works just as fine as a high end product. "I purchased the true match liquid when I was on vacation and out of my Clinique foundation. I used the plastic shade guide against my skin tone ...it took me just a few minutes thanks to the guide to choose my perfect shade. I am so glad I tried this foundation ...it looks so natural, covers all my blemishes (redness, scar, little blood vessel, even my tough under eye issues) it can cover it all! It stays on all day and it does not settle in to my wrinkles!!! Wow that's huge. It actually makes you look like you have beautiful flawless skin...which i don't...i cant believe i have been paying big bucks and have never had this result even after sitting at a Clinique counter twice for a foundation consultation match. I have used BareMinerals, MaryKay, Clinique, MerleNorman and many many more but nothing has ever looked as good as Loreal True Match! "I love No7's products and have been pleased so far with this one. This is the first makeup product from them I have purchased. I also purchased the translucent pressed powder. I was looking for a lightweight product with other skin benefits that would not settle into lines and creases as other have in the past. I am 43 and have a few lines around my mouth, as well as some dark circles under my eyes. It feels great going on, like a moisturizer. Blends very evenly. Doesn't take much to spread over an area. I use my fingers. It says to reply during the day but I do not. I use the translucent pressed powder to set. By the end of the day, I may faintly see a line but I can easily blend it away. I use a yellow cover up under my eyes and this blends well with it. I have redness in my cheeks and this does well to mostly cover, but not like full coverage products. It just seems more natural looking. Definitely not for oily skin. Overall I will keep this as my preferred foundatio. Less" - ulta.com user
"I have been using this product for 11 years now, and it has been a wonderful product. I use the ''Honey Shade'' - depending on your skin tone, my skin tone is medium - not to dark and not to light. This particular shade blends in well with my natural skin color, and it makes me look radiant and natural. After I wash my face, I use a cosmetic white circle sponges from "Target Brand", and with the sturdy easy to use pump, I pour the a small amount on the sponge, and I start padding my face, and moving the sponge on my cheeks, chin, and forehead. Please note: After you finish with the sponge, throw it in the garbage, you don't want to reuse it, because if you have oily skin, then you will reapply all the unhealthy oil back to your skin. Use a fresh sponge when applying this product, for oily skin users. If you have dry skin, buy a clear empty compact, or a mirror empty compact, and place your sponge inside, and re-use it if you like through out the day. The next day, use a fresh sponge. You may use a powder brush as well. What ever makes you comfortable. You can use your fingers, but it just wouldn't be spread evenly in my opinion. I love that it covers any imperfections, it does wonders on acne, they will vanish - not completely, but it WILL remove the redness, and the ugliness of the bump. It's SPF 15 so, it's great for minimal sun exposure, not great if you're on the direct sunlight for more than 4hrs straight. The product does fall throughout the day, it does not stay on for the 16hrs it claims to state on the front bottle, then again maybe it's just on my skin. I have oily skin. In my case, it starts to fall after about 5 1/2 to 6 hours of wear, of course you can always re-apply a fresh coat. Depending on your job activities, or working under ac in an office will last you a little bit longer, at most 7-8 hours. What I love about it the most, is that this blends well, it does not clog pores, its a hypoallergenic product, covers acne very well, and has no smells. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-3019825604641810476-full" data-show="-3019825604641810476-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user
"A foundation stick is one of the most convenient forms of makeup for simplifying a beauty routine. I always had luck with L’Oreal liquid foundations and was quite curious how their new Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation would work for someone like me with dry skin. Therefore, I was eager to give this foundation stick a test run on my complexion. According to L’Oreal, this foundation stick is so longwearing that it is meant to last 24 hours. I don’t know anyone that keeps their makeup on for that extensive length of time unless partying all night and falling asleep with makeup to prove that claim. However, I can honestly say this formula is creamy, blends seamlessly into the skin for a beautiful texture with dewy, medium coverage that does keep up with you through a normal day. The Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation has 12 shades in this line’s color range. Usually, I don’t go with the palest shade on the spectrum except in this case foundation stick 100 Ivory appeared to be the most suitable candidate. My complexion is on the pale side with some yellow undertones. Depending on the brand, I wear fair warm shades to light for the most success when trying to pinpoint the best match for my skin tone. The foundation stick Ivory does seem lighter in the bullet than on the skin where it takes on a subtle peach warmth that is slightly darker. Anyone that has the same sort of fair to light warm coloring like mine would find this 100 Ivory shade the perfect choice with how effortlessly this foundation stick adapted color wise to my complexion. What else I noticed about this Infallible foundation stick was that this product’s formula was velvety in texture and never sat in my pores or looked patchy after applying. I can also say this foundation stick performed well for not accumulating in laugh lines, which can be a problem I noticed with some drugstore foundations. I wish that I could tell you how it would work for anyone with oily skin or if you have a lot acne and skin issues to hide, but I can’t because I do have nice skin that can wear light coverage formulas. Regardless, I did like this foundation stick for all reasons above in how it evened out my complexion to make it practically flawless. I think L'Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation is worth trying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]" - walgreens user

"CoverGirl CG Smoothers Aquasmooth Compact Foundation is the best foundation I have found out there by far. I have tried at least ten different brands and 15 different kinds of foundation, and this is the one that I keep coming back to. I like my makeup to take as little time as possible and this foundation definitely helps accomplish that feat. This provides great coverage all over your face so you don't have to go back and keep adding more, which really helps keep your face from looking caky or like you are wearing "too much" makeup. I also have very oily, acne-prone skin, and Aquasmooth foundation does not make my skin more oily, doesn't clog pores, and also contains SPF 15, which helps with sun exposure. I also like that my skin feels smooth and hydrated after I have applied it rather than feeling oily like some liquids do, or too dry and flaky like some powder foundations do. This foundation has found the perfect balance.Another benefit that I like about this foundation is that it is so easy to apply and is very compact and easy to take with you. The sponge applicator that is included makes it very easy to just glide the product across your entire face and eliminates the need to buy separate applicators. There is also a mirror in the compact so that you can take this with you anywhere for a quick touch up, but I will say that this foundation lasts all day, so you will not need much touch up unless you are sprinting everywhere you go. This is the best foundation available today! « less" - viewpoints.com user
"Okay, it's not a pretty bottle but, I have been using this makeup for YEARS because I love it! I have tried a number of other foundations, including those purchased at department stores, and none compares with this one, Instant Age Rewind. It glides onto my skin beautifully. It leaves my skin looking smooth and much more flawless than it really is. My skin is dry in spots, oily in others, but when I wear this foundation, that all disappears! I also love that it contains sunscreen. I live in Florida, regular sunscreens can melt on my face and look greasy, others dry up and look caked where they settle. This foundation does neither! And you'd think it'd melt out in the hot humid climate, but it does not. This is the BEST foundation ever! Recently, I've been having a hard time finding it in stores :-( If it gets discontinued, that'd be a HUGE MISTAKE. I've always worried that could happen just because the bottle it comes in is not 'pretty'. A lot of women like to purchase products that 'look' fancy. I do too, but it's the product inside the packaging that's really important. There are a lot more positive reviews of this product on other websites, so I have to wonder if Maybelline is really paying attention. MAYBELLINE, pay attention! DO NOT DISCONTINUE this makeup. If sales are a bit more sluggish, keep the product and dress up the packaging!!! I would happily pay a lot more for this product! Less" - maybelline.com user
"This is my newest favorite liquid make up! I have complex oily skin with acnes scars and huge pores so most liquids leave me too shiny and patting my face all day long or reblending it. I used to use L'Oreals "Lumi" line of liquid make up that comes in the pump bottle but I just got so tired of that nice "dewey" look at the beginning of the day becoming oily on my face the longer it stayed on me. Never once has this happened while using this "Magic Nude" liquid powder line! It provides full coverage and then dries fast and finishes in a powder, almost matte look. Only con: It dries so fast that you DONT have the liberty of applying to your entire face at once and then blending it afterwards. For an even look, you would have to apply it on your face in smaller sections then usual and blend it in IMMEDIATELY after it's been applied or it'll dry up exactly where it's at and not blend in well. (i.e. apply makeup to the upper portion of left cheek then blend it in, now apply to the lower portion of that same cheek and then blend it in, apply to chin and blend in, etc.) This makeup truly lasts all day long and sells at a great price! I've always been the L'Oreal "sun beige" so that's the color I use with this line and it matches the Lumi Sun beige pretty well. For best results use right after applying a primer, and then follow it up with a translucent setting Powder, then finish your look up with a final setting spray. (I get the best results when I use "becca" primer, then "Laura Mercier" setting Powder, and "urban decay de slick oil control setting spray) Hope this review helps someone! "Like the rest of the Youth FX Fill + Blur products, this foundation does what it says - it gives a photo finish effect to your skin once it's applied. The foundation itself comes in a container that is easy to dispense. It's thick so you have squeeze it out as opposed to letting it drip out like some thinner foundations. My one recommendation is to be selective of what color you choose. I have very light skin and usually wear the Ivory shades in other brands. This particular product lists Ivory as the lightest shade but I tend to use one shade darker than the lightest. In this case the choice was Porcelain. That wasn't the shade I needed. In reality, Porcelain is the lightest shade of foundation I've ever used and has a very heavy white undertone. I would only recommend Porcelain if you have intensely light, almost white skin. I am not sure whether it's just a matter of how the shades are listed or if the shades are just lighter than other products shade scales. Aside from it being far too light for my already fair skin, I really liked the product. In fact, I liked it so much that I'm planning to go in person to Walmart and buy a shade that matches better. The foundation is creamy and gives medium to full coverage on the skin. It lasts all day and visually smooths out imperfections, especially when coupled with primer and powder. I'm really impressed with its blur technology. It works. I applied mine using my fingers, a sponge, and a kabuki brush. All of which worked similarly well. I didn't see build up nor did it sit inside fine lines and exacerbate them. In fact it did the opposite. It blended the texture of my skin really well and made it appear more uniform. I would definitely recommend this product - just make sure you get the right shade. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-5924424079790057664-full" data-show="-5924424079790057664-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - walmart.com user
"This product works, and works VERY well, IF you apply it correctly. What I mean by that is: Folks, this is a LONG WEARING foundation that wont rub off. it is not like a regular foundation that will transfer and smear off 30 minutes after you put it on: what that means is, you have to apply it correctly the first time. For those who are saying its heavy and mask-like, it makes me ask the question if those ladies have ever used long wearing foundation before? with regular foundation, you can put a lot on, then smear it around, work it into your skin, then stand back and look at it; if it is un-even, you can take a sponge and blend it, and if its too thick in some spots, you can wipe some off, etc.. You CANNOT DO THAT WITH LONG WEARING FOUNDATION! :) With Long wearing foundation ( whether its this brand or Revlon Colorstay or any other ) you have to approach it differently.. you put a TINY bit into your hand, get some on your fingertips, and apply to a SMALL area at a time, and you have to work fast! blend a small amount lightly and quickly into your skin, and then move on to the next area, and so on, until your face is covered. this product is thin and it dries quickly, and once its dry, thats it.. you cant take a sponge and smear it around or blend it in.. you have to do that the first time, while you are initially putting it on, because once it dries, thats it; if you try to layer more on top of it, it WILL look thick and cakey and feel awful on your skin, and it WILL show your pores and your fine lines, etc.. THIS STUFF IS NOT MEANT TO BE APPLIED IN A THICK LAYER! when applying, you must work quick, use a small amount of product, and blend it quickly and thinly with a light touch. if you try and apply this the same way you apply regular ( non long wearing) foundation, it wont work, it will look cakey and thick and un-even and you will hate it; however, if you you apply it quickly, in a very THIN layer and blend it very fast as you are applying it, you will end up with coverage that is even, VERY light feeling on your face, VERY natural looking, and it will STAY that way 16+ hours. No, I dont work for the company.. its just that I have been using Colorstay by Revlon since it 1st came out ( was that 1996? ) and I know how to apply long wearing foundation. it took me lots of practice the first time i used a long wearing foundation, and I made the same mistakes, and it felt heavy, showed all of my imperfections, and looked and felt like a mask.. UNTIL I learned how to apply it. I have a very un-even skin tone ( redness, blotchiness ) and have large pores, oily skin, and some mild blemishes, and yet when I am done applying this product, my skin tone is even, all of my imperfections are covered, and it feels so light on my skin, I cant even tell I have it on. it lasts all day and looks smooth and natural. If you choose the correct color and learn how to apply it, you will not find a better foundation. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-5127070001008648168-full" data-show="-5127070001008648168-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - drugstore.com user

I have oily acne prone skin and very visible acne scars and use a full coverage foundation. First off I live the slender tip of the tube it helps to control how much product is released allowing the user to build coverage as needed. And the shade Chestnut blended in perfectly and seamlessly, with my deep skin tone. This foundation is a multitasker it has age-defying skincare ingredients from No7 serums, SPF50 and over tome helps your skin look younger and healthier which works perfect in my busy Mom life. I found application quick and easy, it didn't feel like I was wearing a mask and it photographed beautifully. I loved wearing it and it lasted the whole day without it turning into a gloopy mess. "As a teen, I spent a lot of time in the sun. Of couse, I didn't use sunscreen, and am now paying the price with an extremely uneven skin tone. My skin is blotchy and dark in some places, while it's 'normal' looking in others. I have a difficult time finding a foundation that evens out my skin tone WITHOUT looking heavy and cakey. My mother recommended *Covergirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation *and I love it. I used it once and have been hooked ever since. It has a smooth consistency that isn't heavy, but not too light, and it blends my skin evenly to one, natural looking, color. Regardless of your skin's color, Covergirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation has a color that will suit you. I use *Classic Beige *(which has a coordinating pressed powder too), but it is also available in: - Buff Beige - Classic Ivory - Classic Tan - Creamy Beige - Creamy Natural - Ivory - Medium Light - Natural Beige - Natural Ivory - Soft Honey - Soft Sable - Tawny - Toasted Almond With so many shades available, you may think you'll have a difficult time choosing which shade will work best for you. But, although I typically DO have this problem, I found it very easy to select the perfect shade for me. *Covergirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation* not only makes your skin look smooth and naturally pretty, it also protects it with SPF 10. Using a foundation infused with sunscreen is SO IMPORTANT! I only wish I had started using a product like this one BEFORE I was 39 years old! **WHAT I DISAGREE WITH **- I can say that there is one claim *Covergirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation *makes that I absolutely cannot agree with. They state that with regular use, your skin will look 5 years younger even when you don't have makeup on. HA!!!! This is NOT true for me. I've been using *Covergirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation *every day for almost three months, and my skin doesn't look a bit younger than it did before. When the makeup is on, my skin definitely looks better, but without it on....it looks just as it did before. But, I love it anyway simply because it helps when I wear it. **Bottom Line** - Yes, I would definitely recommend *Coverigrl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation*. It's smooth, it has a nice scent, the coverage is even and long-lasting, and it's available in the perfect shade for eveyrone. Just don't expect to look younger because you use the product. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - viewpoints.com user
"Well, I think I have another new favorite in my cache of age defying make up products. You will be impressed with the Almay Smart Shade make up. Even though it is dry, Smart Shade has a smooth and creamy consistency. Once you determine the correct initial shade to select from the six options you will find it blends in nicely and takes on your natural skin color once smoothed in. As they say, it does a great job of mimicking skin tone.In addition, after several days of use I really believe this product has done a better job of minimizing the appearance of pores and the many fine lines that accompany the aging process. At the same time, it does not dry out and “crack” like some other products used in the past.In fact, because it does blend so well it is almost invisible and remains so even after many hours. It works! « less" - walmart.com user
"Facefinity compact foundation is another quality product from Max Factor. From the beautiful gold mirror casing - so sharp you can see your face in it - to the interior design that allows the applicator sponge to breathe - every care has been taken to protect and keep the product in the best possible condition even before you use it. I have a naturally pale - some may say boring - complexion so was looking for a foundation that would bring a healthy glow to my appearance without looking heavy or like I had been sat in a spray tan booth for 24 hours so I opted for shade 006 Golden. I wasn’t disappointed, a smooth creamy foundation easily applied and smoothed with the sponge provided. The foundation blended well into the neck and hairline in seconds but didn’t rub off onto clothing. It covers larger pores and blemishes easily and smoothed over minor creases around the eyes. I wore the foundation all day and found it light and comfortable to wear and received several comments on how ‘well’ I looked. My only problem now is do I share my new found secret with family and friends or keep it to myself? As well as being a great wearable foundation it also contains SPF20, plenty high enough for a UK summer. So all in all this product is too good to be kept a secret and I will be shouting out to everyone to pick one up straight away before the word gets out and there is a stampede for this GOLDEN product. "Env: developmentI have searched high and low for a foundation that is light, won't clog my pours, and being 43 always looking for something with that extra boost in the anti aging department.I found my favorite foundation that I have been using for over a year now and I am not turning back **Revlon age defying liquid foundation**. I am a honey beige person and when I have it on it's not heavy, blends well and hides those little imperfections (OK, some aren't so little...I fell down, tripped over a dog, fell on my face and I am stick to that story), but it covers that up nice too. I noticed that after using this for a few weeks, I looked a bit younger because the tiny wrinkles weren't showing as much and so this is telling me this is a good thing (every little bit helps) and conditioning the skin is always a plus and it really does. It also has SPF 20 for sun protection. If Honey beige is not your color they do have 12 shades to choose from all together so this is good because I am always changing my hair color and skin tone is important.**Amy's tip**: In my years of doing not only my own make up, but doing the make up for others when I worked in salons, I will go out and notice how many women put their foundation on. Please, don't just stop at the jaw line, do under the jaw line as well. Some women like to go for a darker tone (tan look) and if you stop at the jaw line it does show so blend, blend, blend!Env: development Less" - viewpoints.com user
"-Suffered from acne for many years (ongoing)-Skin is red, patchy, dry/oily, rough, and very uneven. Lots of acne scarring-I previously used a powdered foundation for around 7 years. It never gave me a smooth coverage, I couldn't get the right colour and it was very expensive.I bought this product about a week and a half ago in-store. I tried lots of different liquid foundations and I was mainly searching for the correct colour. Its price first attracted me, and once I saw that the colour was almost perfect, I bought it.It provides whatever coverage you want. Most days I apply 1 - 2 pumps and it suffices. Other times I do a few layers, especially when I am going out or contouring. I prefer to use a powder based contouring palette as it blends incredibly with this foundation. It covers practically anything without concealer or colour correcting. A few larger spots and imperfections require concealer just to keep the foundation in place all day.It is incredibly lightweight and soft once dry. Its staying power is surprisingly good, however when I had a cold. I often found I had to keep redoing my nose. (To be expected.)I apply it using a blending sponge and I pat it around my face. It requires very little blending into hairlines or necks and looks flawless with very little effort.Unlike some other liquids I tested, it did not stick to my eye brows or go patchy around my eyes. I use a translucent powder and fixing spray to keep it in place now, and it will easily last all day/night. I just woke up from a nap and my pillow is foundation free and my skin still looks great.I was a little reluctant to swap to liquid because of past experiences with it worsening my acne, however this foundation seems to have no effect on my acne and is quick and easy to remove with makeup wipes/remover.I recommend this to people who are having trouble finding a nice textured foundation, finding the right colour, or who have colour/acne issues with their skin. "It’s been a long time since I’ve even used a covergirl product, however, this one definitely delivers. It gives just the right amount of coverage I want and allows me to build on it if I so desire. It lasts me all day without moving. It does tend to be a bit sticky at first, so I like to use a sponge to apply. My skin is fairly dry, so I don’t use a lot of powder. I just set around my nose and a bit under my eyes. Finish it off with a nice balanced setting spray and you won’t be disappointed." - mira user
"I love this compact. The top unscrews to reveal the product and the bottom opens, holding the sponge applicator. I think the compact is very beautifully designed. The color is in between silver and goldtone with a clear center strip in between where you can view the product shade. I find the separated compartments to be quite hygenic. The product is a thick and creamy, medium to full coverage foundation that gives a healthy, dewey glow without the use of primer. I used the plastic card to find my shade. I found shade C3 to be the closest, just slightly darker than my skin, but not really noticably so. In this cream foundation, that is number 127 creamy natural. My skin is very fair, burns easily and has visible redness. The coverage was great on the redness and pretty good on an age spot I have, good enough that I no longer use a separate concealer on it. This saves me so much time on my routine, just a few sweeps and I'm done. The sponge is so soft and rubbery and blends the makeup flawlessly. In the winter my skin gets dry and flaky patches between my brows, sides of my nose, and corners of my mouth. Alot of foundations highlight that fact, but not this one. You would think it was summer when you saw my skin. I absolutely love this formula. Because it is creamy, it is also easy to take off with a creamy cleanser and moist, warm washcloth. I'm not sure of the staying power, but it has lasted as long as I have needed it to while running errands in town. Touch ups are easy though. A must try! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

"I confess I am a foundation 'snob'! I don't like the thoughts of drugstore foundations so I tried the colour match service purely out of curiosity. I was really, really very impressed with the whole process. The gadget matched me to the shade "Warm Ivory". Having chatted about what I wanted from a foundation the lovely consultant recommended Stay Perfect. She cleansed two areas of my face and tried a little on my skin but thought it looked a little 'yellow'. Its always tricky to tell under store lighting and without a full face of product so she generously gave me samples of two other colours "cool vanilla" and "cool ivory" as well which were quite close in shade. I like to 'try before you buy' especially with foundations to check the colour doesn't oxidise and that the texture works with my skin. I went home without great expectation but .........Wow! I went to work next day and a colleague commented how well I looked and another said what great skin I had! Warm Ivory was the best match after all and is possibly the best shade in a foundation I have ever worn! From first application it was literally 'perfect'. I have a pale, freckled complexion and foundation matching is a nightmare with the pigmentation of the freckles. I have an oily T-Zone with 'normal/dry' cheeks and fit into the 'mature' category! I don't want a mask- like finish but like good coverage and longevity. Stay perfect ticks all the boxes. The texture is creamy and weightless. I would say it's a medium coverage but buildable to full. I tried application with both a Real Techniques buffing brush and my fingers but prefer the finish when applied with fingers. You really don't feel you are wearing make-up and it gives a satin finish. It covers imperfections without looking like a mask - it literally looks like my skin but a thousand times better. Stay Perfect is 'transfer resistant' and the only other foundation I can compare it to is Estee Lauder Double Wear, but unlike Double Wear, Stay Perfect looks lovely on a mature skin, it really gives it a 'glow'. The colour didn't oxidize and lasts a good 9 hours. Yes some the oils in my T-Zone come through by the end of the day - but nothing a little powder won't fix. I am a convert to No.7! The colour match service is better than many of the high end brands and the range and shades of foundation are fantastic - not to mention the knowledge and service offered by the lovely No.7 consultant. With my voucher I paid £11! an absolute bargain for such a good product. Amazing! Less" - boots.com user
"PROS: Good in my big pores and wrinkles compared to other ones I've tried (35 in total). Inexpensive compared to high-end. Lasts very well on me. I would call it between a demi matte and satin finish, but it's not drying on my combo skin and it doesn't highlight dry flakes at all, like most mattes and even most satins do on me. It's just like my skin; that's what I would call the "finish." Comes in a pump so you won't contaminate it it with fingers. Doesn't get "dewy" later like even MAC Pro Longwear and MUFE HD will on me. Has pink and yellow and even some beige tones for neutrals like me. SPF17. Buildable. CONS: You can't take too long to apply it because it dries a little fast. Probably not for those who like a dewy or super-matte finish. I don't believe in any "lifting" claims, but that's not why I bought it, anyway. I just wish cosmetic companies would realize we can get our anti-aging products in our skin care choices. (I have to combine two colors to get my exact tone.) You may have to combine two colors to get your best match. APPLICATION TIPS: I use Monistat chafing gel (or L'oreal's magic perfecting primer for a slightly more matte finish) tapped into my pores/wrinkles beforehand, letting it set a few minutes before applying the foundation. (Those two help a lot with my pores and helps the foundation to last longer ). I also like to put just a drop of grapeseed oil (it's a very light oil) mixed into my foundation before applying. (It's a crazy sounding idea, but it truly creates a magical finish that doesn't look greasy. I got the tip from makeup artist Wayne Goss on youtube. But do know that I'm combination/dry. It probably would not be good for someone who is oily or wants a matte finish.) I use a soft blending brush, like Sonia Kashuk's core synthetic blending brush, to apply and blend. I sometimes top off with a light spritz of MAC's fix plus to make it last even longer. The concealer version of this is buildable and great for wrinkles." - ulta user

"I have tried many OTC and expensive pressed powders and this is my favorite (medium)! It does not build up, streak or look chalky, even in photos. Very importantly, it does not contribute to break-outs. While the powder itself is fantastic, I agree with the other reviewers who cited the bothersome-to-use and wasteful packaging. However, I do like how the puff is in its own compartment and not kept sitting on top of the powder. The mirror has been awkwardly placed under the product to make the powder color visible through the lid-- thus reducing outside packaging. It would be much easier to use if the mirror was in the traditional place just under the lid. Less expensive refill "pans" of powder would be a great green idea. " - Neutrogena user
"I usually hate Covergirl foundations, but this foundation keeps my dry skin decently hydrated through the day and does not budge. Usually this foundation is more of a natural everyday school or work look for me, It doesn't have a full enough coverage to be a night out foundation, but I still love how it sets." - walgreens user
"I have been a fan of Almay products for many years, using their beautiful and versatile eye shadows, foundations and finishing powders. I was really excited to try the Almay Best Blend Forever foundation, although I always worry about my sensitive skin, which may or may not become irritated with a new product. The Almay Best Blend Forever foundation boasts of being a lightweight product combined with a moisturizer. A sponge is attached to the bottle which can be used for buffing and blending the makeup, which you can use while it is attached to the bottle or separately for perfect makeup blending. This foundation comes in 12 different shades (and a pretty wide range for all skin tones!), which may actually be lighter on your skin than you anticipate. The good news with this foundation is that is both hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.It is extremely difficult to choose a shade just from viewing the color palette online, so it may be easier to choose your shade in the store. In fact, a lot of the shades actually appeared to have a pink hue to them on the color palette, but we know that those color palettes often look nothing like their true color once squeezed out of the bottle. Since it is winter and I have abandoned my bronzer as of late, my skin is fair, meaning that I would likely go for an ivory shade. However, since it looked pink online, I went for the 130 Neutral shade – and it was a perfect match for my skin. The product itself felt thick and creamy (somewhere between a rich cream and a mousse), and once I began to blend it in, it absorbed quite quickly. I have gotten away from heavier foundations, so my preference these days is a sheer to medium foundation. This Almay Best Blend Forever is a medium coverage in my opinion, and it’s all I want. I had no adverse reactions to the product, and feel like it lasted all day for me, so I didn’t retouch the foundation nor did I reapply Almay’s finishing powder. I felt like the finish was silky, smooth and absorbed well on my skin. The finish appears to be “matte” as opposed to a radiant finish seen in some foundations. One thing – I often put foundation (not concealer) under my eyes, and I did not like this foundation underneath my eyes because it irritated the corners of my eyes. Also, I appreciate the sponge included with the foundation, but I am not used to using a sponge, and felt it blended beautifully with my clean hands.Overall, I am very pleased with this product, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or choose another shade once I began applying my bronzer for the summer. If you would like to see the make-up as it is being applied, please go to:https://youtu.be/VEOD8z5mz5M « less" - walmart.com user
"I am a makeup artist and work in a salon. My kit is filled with heavier, pricier brand makeups needed by my clients, however, I use this foundation for myself. After I apply my primer, I put a pea sized amount in my hands, rub them together and apply it like lotion. Then, I press a light dusting of loose face powder on top. It controls the very creamy texture of this foundation. I am not a big fan of matte, so I then dust some shimmer bronzer in peach over my face for the glow I desire. Many women do NOT need full coverage...the less foudation, the more natural. Natural skin has some freckles and dots,...it's okay if some are still present. In fact, to think you can hide them completely only makes them appear more apparent...you have a still, discolored spot on your face with an orangy foundation veil caked on top. The thing you want to achieve with foundation is a more even skin tone.I sleep in this too. I can go to bed with my man looking clean, yet leaves him thinking I have naturally good skin, because that's how natural it looks. At night, I use a very small amount mixed over my night cream, along the lines of making a tinted moisturizer. For those concerned with the very emollient feel of this foundation, just use some face powder on top...not much.As far as the anti-aging properties, I have noticed a big difference in my skin since I began using it...even more so since I began applying a little at night. I am a smoker and began seeing these 2 fine lines in the middle of my eyebrows. Since I began using this foundation, they have pretty much disappeared, and I also notice that my skin looks creamy and even after I wash my face. Before, I would wash my face and see a blotchy, red shiny surface. Now I can wash my face and walk around makeup-less with confidence. Some women here have said it burns their eyes. It is not meant to be applied near the eyes. It even says so on the product label sticker affixed to the back of each bottle. It has chemicals in it as the DNA ingredients. Think about it. This is why there is undereye concealers and foundations on the market. To get the best out of your makeup, and to truly experience fully what a product says it will do, you need to learn how to apply it correctly. And with cosmetics, always read labels. One set back is it doesn't last too long...more so if much is applied. But again, pressed powder fixes this. Primer as well. I find that this foundation gives the most natural, smoothest finish when used with powder, unlike many other foundations which appear caked at times. « less" - ulta.com user

"Okay so let me first say that I had no intention of buying this. I was on the hunt for a new bb cream but then saw this and decided to give it a try. I have the everything skin. Its blegh. Oilyness, dry patches, sensitive, acne prone, etc. As you can imagine, finding a foundation is a nightmare. I watch youtube vids, read reviews, etc. Just searching for the perfect foundation. Sure enough, I spontaneously grab this and its perfection! The label says "hydrating" so that caught my attention. But its not hydrating in the way that makes you an oil slick. It goes on smooth. Then when it dries, it dries. No tacky or sticky feeling. It has a almost matte finish. Glowy but not dewy or shiny. Matte but not cakey. Im not sure of the word for this. Haha. And it lasts! Not 25 hours but with some setting powder, you can go the whole day. It has become a hg foundation for me. Ive tried so many different brands. Drugstore and high end. Yet here I am, praising this magic in a tube. For me, there are only two downsides. The packaging. The product is liquidy and the tube has a large opening so it can get messy. And the other downside is the color range. I have very very pale skin with yellowish undertones. And I mean PALE skin. The lightest shade of this is too dark, but the shade true ivory. 103 i think, is pretty close. Not an exact match but with some extra blending, voila! Perfection! "I have Rimmel match perfection foundation in the shade ‘soft beige’, I’m usually an ivory shade but with summer coming I opted for a shade to suit me whilst tanned (fake or natural haha)First off i want to mention the packaging.. a nice sturdy glass bottle which gives it an expensive, higher end feel and it comes with an added pump plus a lid! So no mess in the makeup draw (HUGE thumbs up for that!) the pump also dispenses the product nicely and evenly meaning no foundation shooting up the walls or on my clothes! The foundation itself has a lovely consistency, its not too thick yet not runny so it sits nicely on my brush without me having to rush to get it to my face!It blends like a dream also, some foundations I’ve tried just move around my face with the brush but match perfection buffs into the skin perfectly. Personal preference - I like to buff it into the skin then bounce a damp blender across my face for added effect. There was NO need for concealer when using match perfection foundation either which is a huge bonus again and saves makeup application time. The coverage is medium but buildable. The skin adapting agents work amazingly to mimic the skin tone, my face looked the right amount of tanned and not orange in the slightest which is something I struggle with usually.I applied my makeup at around 6pm in the evening before going out for a family meal, I did set my tzone area and eyelids with Rimmel match perfection loose powder, and my whole face will in tact still at after midnight when I removed my makeup. Nothing had moved (even my mascara hadn’t gave me ‘panda eyes’ like normally!) and there were NO oily areas coming through. Usually as soon as i get home im itching to remove my makeup but match perfection foundation felt so light on my skin that I didn’t feel like I had to remove it straight away!It doesn’t look ‘cakey’ on the skin either, with its lightweight formula and skin mimicking agents it looks completely natural - like my skin but better. Also another huge bonus for me is that this doesn’t oxidise on the skin! - the colour upon application is a true reflection of the colour the foundation is.All in all this foundation gets a huge thumbs up from me! If I had one issue (and i mean only one!) it would be that more shade choices were available.. but that said with the skin adaptation formula.. just maybe a wider variety of shades for lighter and darker skins.I loved this foundation, I’ve actually gone and bought another bottle for spare and other products from the match perfection range!
