"I have drier skin. This foundation really is not as drying as many people say. I make sure to exfoliate my skin before I use the foundation. I put moisturizer and moisturizing primer before I apply it as well. It does oxidize a little bit. However, it is not as bad as the superstay foundation and for how cheap it is, it is not a big deal. It lasts the entire day. I would not say it is a matte foundation as loreal claims. I mean I do use moisturizer beforehand, but it is not totally matte. I do not use powder and throughout the day oil does not build too bad. Throughout the day, the more natural the finish becomes. It does not settle into fine lines anymore than any other good foundation would. It is full coverage. I have recieved tons of compliments on it. I totally recommend, as finding foundations that suit my dry skin is sooooo difficult." - mira user
"Sorry for the long review.... but I have a lot to say about this product. I suffer from terrible adult acne and I've wasted so much time and money trying to get it under control. So when I came across this product one day I decided to try it. Even if it failed at least I would get coverage out of it. As it turns out - it's amazing! The way it glides over your face evenly; the lightweight feel; and the fact that it kept my oily skin in check was enough to keep me happy. After a hard days work it would still be in place with no noticeable streaks. It had remarkable coverage for a powder - and as the days went by I slowly noticed a decrease in concealer use. Unfortunately after I ran out I was unable to make it to the store to purchase more; and that was when I realized how much it kept my acne under control. It wasn't a rebound breakout - It was the same type of acne I had in the same problem areas with the same severity. But now that I wasn't using the powder to treat it, my face slowly began to break out again. So needless to say - I went back and purchased more. I even gifted it to my sister who has the same skin issues I do, and she noticed a change in her complexion immediately. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that when I made it about half way through the compact, the powder began hardening on the surface from the sponge applicator going over it repeatedly (similar to what happens with eye shadows). So I would use something with a hard edge to gently scrape off the top layer then use that broken powder to apply to my skin. That is probably the applicator itself that causes that. So swapping that out for a poof or brush would likely solve that issue. I myself prefer the sponge applicator and just deal with the problem as it arises." - walgreens user

"Wow, I am completely blown away by this foundation. I rarely venture beyond using a prestige brand of foundation, however the Conceal + Perfect has really thrown me for a loop as a find myself reaching for this daily. For reference, the types of foundations I currently use and alternate between are as follows: Lancome, Armani (Luminous Silk and Powder Fabric), Hourglass (stick), MUF (stick), and Nars (Luminous Glow). I typically seek full coverage without the cake face that usually accompanies such with a slight glow. I feel as if though I've finally found what I'm looking for in one bottle and no longer need to sit at my table and mix formulas every morning to obtain the perfect shade and/or desired coverage. The only thing comparable to this foundation that I can think of is the Urban Decay All Nighter and Estee Lauder Double Wear - both of which were complete fails for me. I found those foundations to oxidize and to be very cakey by mid-day on my dry skin (color selections were excellent though). I find the Conceal + Perfect superior to both. For starters, the coverage of this foundation is amazing, so much so that I find myself using less concealer in my problem areas. I have sun spots and dark under eye circles, and these are easily corrected without color correcting and less concealer. This is a buildable coverage foundation, however one pump alone is more than enough. I don't find myself needing to build any additional coverage after my initial application. Additionally, adding a finishing powder does not make the foundation cakey as it typically would with other brands of foundation. Blending this product is super easy, which is surprising for a thicker and full coverage foundation. I've had great luck with both a beauty blender (dot entire face with foundation and blend out) and a buffing brush (same dotting technique). The new Pur Cosmetics brush which is similar to the Artis 6 Oval brush is my favorite means of application. However, I do find that I have to be more selective with my primer choices when using this foundation. Despite having dry skin, I noticed that my T-zone was getting more oily than usual. This was corrected by using a mattifying primer in that area. In regards to color choices, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection for my skin tone (tan - East Indian decent - purchased shades 10 & 11). I do agree with the other reviews that the options appear to have more of a yellow undertone, however I can only speak for the darker shades in this line. In the instance that you're having trouble finding the right shade, I suggest finding a shade that's close to what you require and mixing it with another foundation in your current collection that is the correct shade (different brand or not), since the formula of the Conceal + Perfect alone is worth adding to what you're currently using. Overall, I recommend at least purchasing this and giving it a shot - if you're unable to find your shade or strike out on the first time, try one more time before giving up (that's what I did). Good luck! « less" - Target user

Revlon colorstay full cover foundation, for matte coverage that lasts up to 24 hours. Doesn't look cakey or feel heavy.
"I got this full-size bottle of foundation in the lightest shade as a free gift and I really wasn't expecting much because I have such fair skin and even the lightest shade is usually too dark for me or oxidizes a horrible shade of Orange shortly after application even with a good primer. I am 51 and have very dry skin and fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes that I am treating with serums and creams and most foundations make it worse not better by settling into the fine lines and creases so it looks worse with Foundation than without. I have tried pretty much all of the high-end foundations and have had little luck with any of them except for Urban Decay Naked skin which I use the lightest shade .05 it does not oxidize on me but it does feel a bit heavy. So needless to say I was not expecting much from this Foundation. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it had an applicator which made it very easy to just dot it all over my face instead of pumping it into my hand and then dotting it on my face and then having to use my foundation brush to wipe it off my hand and then start blending it into my face it's just a convenience issue which is nice. that being said I used my favorite foundation brush my It Cosmetics 101 blurring foundation brush and this was just over moisturizer and elf hydrating primer because I didn't want to use a high-end primer I wanted to see what this Foundation had on its own and holy cow! It literally blew me away! It how easily it Blended in with my skin! It was like I was not even wearing Foundation! it felt and looked so natural that I couldn't believe it! I had to go and ask my fiance what he thought, and he said that my skin looked wonderful! He said what did I put on it? he said it doesn't look like you're wearing any makeup but it looks great! (he knows how sensitive I have been about my aging skin lately!) I set the foundation with just a little bit of Too Faced's ethereal setting powder and their three in one priming setting spray and it has been on now for over 10 hours without any oxidation or transfer separation dry patches or oiliness and it looks gorgeous! I am switching to this Foundation because I believe I have found my Holy Grail!! Thank God for this Foundation because I was about to give up on my skin because no Foundation looked good on me while I was treating my lines and wrinkles it seems to look worse with any foundation as I said previously except this one! maybe because it has hyaluronic acid in it, or because it's such a light formula but it does have very good coverage for me and I used very little and as I said I used my favorite foundation brush and no concealer which is unheard of for me because I have slight dark circles under my eyes because my skin is so fair and I don't sleep well because of chronic pain. sorry this review is so long but I am just as I said blown away by this Foundation!! If I could rate it higher than five stars I would! I highly recommend it to anyone with mature dry skin and sensitive skin who has the worry of foundation settling into fine lines and wrinkles because this just didn't do it!! « less" - ulta.com user
"I've tried a few foundations from physician's formula that have actually been amazing (youthful wear, argan wear bb cream) but the shade range has been so bad that I could only use these if I have a tan. This one really surprised me with the shade range, the quality of the product and the packaging. I got the shade LW2 (the lightest warm shade) and it is a perfect match. For reference, I am close to the shade 120 Buff in Almay's Best Blend Forever foundation. I didn't notice any oxidation with this foundation. It has a medium coverage - but it looks smooth and flawless. it also doesn't pick up on any of my dry patches, or break up on me throughout the day as most foundations do. I apply this with a real techniques blending sponge (which is my preferred method with every foundation). It has a natural finish - I don't feel like I need to set it on my combo skin. Lastly, I wish this would have a higher SPF or no SPF at all. SPF 20 isn't enough for me to wear this without any other sun protection, and it may cause flashback. I have not tested it for flashback yet so I do not know if that will occur. As for the packaging, I personally love the large doe foot applicator. It's so easy to apply the perfect amount every time. I wish the bottle was plastic, not glass though. It feels very luxurious but I'm afraid I will break it if it drops.I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review. « less" - walmart.com user
"I recently purchased this foundation after watching dozens of videos raving about it. I normally don't buy into the hype from beauty gurus promoting products, but I figured this is cheap and it couldn't hurt to give it a shot. For reference, I have combo skin with super oily areas, random redness and some light, occasional acne, so no huge problems to cover up. I also hate wearing foundation. I can't stand the feeling of product on my face and it's caused me to return/toss/pass along many a foundation because I knew I would never touch it. My usual routine is to use some concealer on any of my "problem" areas, just to make my skin look uniform, and I'm happy with that coverage. This foundation pleasantly surprised me. It dries down to a semi-matte finish and feels and looks, for the most part, like skin. It sets pretty quickly and doesn't leave behind a tacky residue, so your face doesn't feel oily or gross. I wouldn't say this lasts all day on me, but it does last a full work day (office job, 9-10 hours) with only minor fading around my nose and on my forehead. I also wear glasses, so it of course rubs off a bit under the nose pieces, but I have yet to find a foundation that doesn't do that. However, considering how oily I get, that's pretty awesome! It does have a slight fragrance (as a lot of people have said, it smells a little like paint) but I'm sensitive to that sort of thing and it doesn't bother me after the product is on, so you won't notice it while wearing it. I would say this has solid medium coverage and will disguise redness and most acne. It does cling a bit to some dry spots, but nothing crazy! Also, I'm guessing I'm around an NC20 or 25 in MAC foundations (never been matched and don't own any, but that's what I've gathered by comparing some shades in other brands that do match me on Temptalia's foundation matrix) and I purchased Buff Bisque initially. It is a bit too dark for me but will be perfect in the summer. I plan on purchasing the next shade down with this undertone (Nude Ivory) and I think that one will be perfect. I should also point out that I have pretty yellow skin and the neutral undertone worked best for me (I don't pay a lot of attention to undertone, so maybe that's normal for me). Overall, this is a great foundation if you're looking for something cheap, medium coverage and light on the skin." - walgreens user

"In the past I have used a range of different foundations from different brands, but never one from Boujois.I have most recently been using a BB cream because I like that it has a lighter coverage and that I can still see my freckles through it (more suitable for summer than my previous foundation from Revlon). However, I decided to try to go back to foundations as the BB cream I bought was making my skin very oily. Strange considering I have dry skin.I have dry skin and occasionally get flaky patches which usually my foundation would cake to, and it would be very obvious at the end of the day when most of the foundation had worn off except for these patches. Not a good look!I saw this foundation reviewed by Pixiewoo on their blog and another person on Youtube and so thought I would give it a try.I bought a real techniques stippling brush to apply it and I was amazed! It doesn't give a totally matte finish, has a sort of dewy look which is lovely and best of all, provides excellent coverage but still looks like it is my skin. I think I read someone said before that the effect is "my skin but better". I can barely feel any make up on my face and if i do touch my face it feels smooth and soft.I have very fair skin but I do tan/freckle slightly on my face and so I bought the second to lightest colour, Vanilla.I am so impressed with this product I am tempted to buy three more on the current offer. As many people have said, including the Pixiewoo ladies, this foundation feels like an extremely well known high end brand, but is a third of the cost! Excellent value for the quality of the product. Less" - boots.com user

"I received this for free for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own! I am honestly so happy that I received this in a VoxBox because I was planning on purchasing it anyway. I am a huge fan of Maybelline and have been wanting to try out cushion foundation for a while. THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING. At first, I didn't really like the applicator that it comes with, but now that I've used it for a little, I understand that it really is the best way to apply the foundation. Instead of just patting it on the face (which can leave the mark of the applicator), I like to use a patting and almost rolling motion to use it. After using it that way, application was flawless. Typically, I've been using a damp beauty sponge too, to get in the harder to reach spots like near my nose and eyes. I would say it gives medium coverage, but you can easily build it up to full coverage and it still looks so natural and beautiful. I hate foundations that look cakey and like makeup! This one is so different because it lets your skin shine through and really just makes it look like your skin, but better! It gives a natural finish, definitely not too dewey like other cushion foundations, but not matte. I am using shade 20 in Classic Ivory and topped it with my Fit Me concealer in Light, which blended into the foundation like a dream. My favorite part about this foundation is how it feels because it feels like you have nothing on your skin, even to the touch! It is so light, but gives coverage! It could be used for everyday or built up for a night out, and is so easy to travel with! This is the best foundation and I highly, highly recommend it! "I received the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation to try for free from Top Box Circle. I have to admit when I first saw that I was given the Ivory 10 that I thought that it would be too light for my skin. I also thought the small tube wouldn’t last very long. But boy was I wrong with both of my assumptions!I applied the product sometimes with my fingers and sometimes with a brush. Either way worked extremely well for me and blended into my skin for a natural look. I had even skin tones and the foundation didn’t cake and actually softened my fine lines. And it doesn’t take much of the product to achieve your natural look!I have extremely sensitive skin and this foundation was amazing. I didn’t develop any reaction to the foundation and the scent was not noticeable at all. I applied the foundation in the morning and tried applying it sometimes after I put on a morning cream and sometimes directly on the face with no moisturizer. I wanted to see if there were any issues with dryness. There was no noticeable difference and I loved how my skin remained hydrated throughout the whole day even if I didn’t apply a face cream beforehand. The colour ivory blended well with my skin tone and blended extremely well for an all day look. I liked how my skin looked more alive and had a nicer tone and glow than normal. It was very lightweight and I like how you can’t “feel” that you have foundation on at all.I would love it if the foundation had some sunscreen built right into it. Outside of this one wish this is definitely something that will be added to my makeup routine. "I'm 24 and recently I've been struggling with acne and acne marks worse than when I was a teenager, so I went into Ulta ready to spend tons of money on a great foundation. What I found was that almost all of the high-end foundations clung to the small, nearly-invisible dry patches on my face (mostly around spots that were healing). I have oily to combination skin, so this was really a surprise! I had been using Colorstay (Shades 150 or 180 in the "Oily" line) for a while, but the lack of a pump made using it a hassle and a mess! So I decided to try this on a BOGO while repurchasing Colorstay...and I ended up liking this even better. For comparison, it's thinner than Colorstay while giving comparable coverage. The consistency makes it easy to blend all over my face and then go back over problem areas with another layer of foundation to augment coverage; this way, it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask. My skin has definitely been improving and I can leave the house with just a thin layer some days. For reference, I'm a 2.0-3.0 (winter-summer) in UD Naked and I wear 10-30 in this line. I recommend this to everyone I know and even got my mom hooked. A must try! « less" - ulta.com user
"I got this as a gift with a Beauty Blender and I used it right away on my brushes (which I had used for 1 years without being washed [super bad, but I didn't know to wash them back then]) and this little bar got ALL of my caked and dried in makeup on all of my face and eye brushes! It's super easy to use, just wet the brush, swipe across the bar, and rinse. I like that you can see it working too, after you swipe the brush on the bar, you can see the soap grab the makeup and it makes a "sludge" on the bristles, so then you just rinse that off and see such a difference! Of course it works fantastic on sponges too, but even after I stopped using a Beauty Blender I keep buying it just for my brushes because it's so amazing! It leaves my tools with a fresh, clean scent that I like as well! I use 7-10 Real Techniques brushes and clean them about once a week (or after using different colors/heavy use for special occasions) and one bar lasts about 3 months for me. I use the expert face brush from Real Techniques for my foundation and occasionally have to clean it twice before all the makeup is off, but the same goes for heavily pigmented colors on my other brushes, but I believe it's only because I really pack on color and would be fixed if I cleaned them immediately after use instead of continuing use and letting them sit a few days. The solid is also PERFECT for travel! Truthfully it's the only brush/sponge cleaner that I've ever used, but it works so well that I highly recommend it to my friends and family (my sister is a regular user of it too now!)! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-3071783775664862256-full" data-show="-3071783775664862256-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Sephora user
"I bought this in natural beige (I'm Greek venezuelan, so I'm a light olive, but with dark hair and eyes). The ONLY reason I bought this was because I was VERY desperate. I had NO money for makeup and my smash box BB cream (which I wear in light/neutral or light/medium) was basically dead. I have very dry, red, acne prone skin. My acne is getting better, it's mostly red and sorta pimply cheeks now. The smash box did a good job of mostly covering the acne, but I had to use a little bit of concealer for redness. So I had very low expectations for this. I am a totally name brand makeup snob. I can't remember the last time I bought drug store makeup. Probably in middle school. I had actually bought this foundation a long time ago, but it stank and felt tacky. I however ended up trying it again since it was so highly rated. Let me tell you, it will take a miracle foundation for me to start buy that expensive stuff again. It is the perfect amount of coverage for me, it's perfect for my dry skin, and it blends flawlessly (I use the benefit foundation brush). It looked too pink when I put it on my hand at first (I have a somewhat yellow undertone, so I use yellowish makeup), but it covered my redness really well and it looks so natural and feels weightless. I never write reviews but the moment I finished putting this on I was so impressed I sat down and immediately wrote this. This is an amazing foundation. My only con would be that this might be a little to hard for beginners to use. It's a thick liquid consistency, and it might dry too fast if you aren't good at blending. I really recommend using a foundation brush." - ulta user
"God yes. If you're not aware of what Accutane is, it's a strong acne prescription drug that makes your skin extremely dry. It wasn't my first time taking accutane so I knew going into it what would happen to my skin. So I went to my local drug store and picked this one out-not knowing what I was getting into going into this. Ive never used a foundation by this brand but it was the only foundation that pretty heavily branded 'heavy glow', so I bought it (plus it was super cheap compared to others). Let me just say I never had high hopes for this foundation. I have an extremely hard time finding foundation that works for me and considering I was about to go through skin h*ll for the next 8 months I wasn't getting my hopes up. Long story short this foundation was a holy grail. I never once had any dry patches through a 12 or 15 hours I had this on. Occasionally if I knew I was touching my face a lot that day I'd have to quickly powder and blend my face some. that was really the only con. I applied beautifully and so smooth once you powder your face. My contour and highlight blended well with it and all in all Im super impressed. 2 months after I finished Accutane (finished my 3rd bottle) I ran out and didn't have time to go to the store and pick up more so I used some of my foundation I used before which was some high end pricey foundation. Lets just say I went through the day feeling like my face was the dessert, and looking so cakey. immediately that next morning I picked me up some more pro-glow. I will never go back to anything else and will honestly be devastated if they discontinue this. If you know you have dry skin or if you're on Accutane or some other skin solution that makes your skin dry PLEASE use this. I promise you'll never want to use anything else. This saved me from 8 months of h*ll because honestly I loved putting on my makeup knowing I was going to look glowey and flawless. « less" - ulta.com user

It gives my skin a healthy glow, without seeping into my fine lines. I like applying it with the stick and it blends perfectly. It feels so good on my skin, and it looks even better! My skin feels hydrated and it covers any imperfections. This foundation never cakes up or breaks up, so it doesn’t look bad on your skin. I am in love with this foundation. It is the best foundation for my skin and is perfect for creating a luminous and radiant complexion. Really recommend this foundation stick! " - neutrogena.com user
"I really love this foundation. This is a very versatile product with great coverage. It gives me similar coverage to my old foundation (Revlon Colorstay foundation, a very full coverage foundation, but full of toxic ingredients). It does a fantastic job covering up redness and evening out skin tone, especially if used in conjunction with a concealer for any blemishes. The interesting thing I've noticed about this foundation is that if my skin has more moisture (or is more oily# when I use it the application has more of a 'wet' consistency. It behaves almost like a liquid foundation on my skin once it's applied. It still looks beautiful and I find once I blend it in, apply concealer under eyes & over any imperfections/blemishes, and finish with a light powder, it looks great. However, if my skin is having a 'dry' day #I'm 27, with combination skin# this foundation will apply without me needing to cover with a powder except for perhaps a light dusting over my t-zone. Either way it looks great though and gives me full coverage. I cannot recommend this foundation enough. :# I suggest buying the actual foundation first #it will come in a clear plastic container you can easily store it in# and then deciding if you like it enough to buy the heavy duty Honeybee Gardens silver compact to store it in. If you are going to continue using this foundation purchasing the compact is worth it #& then you just have to buy the replacement cartridges once your makeup runs out#, but I wouldn't recommend buying it right away when purchasing your first HB foundation, because you don't necessarily need it. I suggest buying & trying out the foundation to see how you like it first! Also, this particular color #Supernatural# is a light shade that I would say is comparable to the 'beige' range of foundation colors. If you normally wear the ivory colors #lightest color/colors# offered by most foundations I recommend the color Geisha instead. I normally wear the light beige-range type colors and Supernatural is a perfect match for me. It also has been looking great even as I've worn it all winter long, though I suspect it will blend a bit better once I have a little more color to my skin from sunshine #though not much#.Supernatural has a yellow undertone that anyone with pink undertones #like me# will appreciate, as this balances out your skin and gives your skin a nice flawless finish. Also, this foundation can be applied using a brush as well as a pouf/ cosmetic pad. It's pretty versatile and seems to look great no matter how I apply it.Also, I recommend the Honeybee Gardens stackable pot mineral eyeshadow in Spellbound. This is a beautiful color and looks even better when paired with the foundation. Temptress is a good crease-shade to pair with it as well, though if you're just going to try one I'd definitely recommend Spellbound. Spellbound really makes green eyes pop and would be beautiful with rich brown eyes as well #or hazel# and perhaps also some shades of blue... I also highly recommend the Honeybee Gardens eyeliners in Belgian Chocolate and Jet Set. I have both and I actually think they are very similar in their darkness #the Belgian Chocolate being almost as dark as the black eyeliner Jet Set# but the rich color of Belgian Chocolate is my absolute favorite. It's a very pretty eyeliner shade. They stay put pretty well and although I do get some bleeding at the outer edges of my eyes through normal wear after a few hours, I get that with ALL eyeliners, except the liquid water-proof types. Again, can't recommend these shadows/liners enough, especially Spellbound.Lastly, be careful when ordering this foundation from Swanson Vitamins and if it arrives to you cracked or damaged please know that that's not normally the case with this product when it's shipped appropriately by other sites/sellers. The only time I've ordered it from here #recently# it arrived to me cracked and falling apart. :# This is not flimsy foundation but probably needs some bubble wrap around it to protect it when being shipped with large shipments #my last shipment when I ordered it was large with some big conditioner bottles and a lot of other things#. I've ordered it multiple times from Amazon #different sellers# and Vitacost and it's always arrived to me in perfect condition, so that really disappointed me. I highly recommend this foundation, just be careful if you're making a big order from SV and know that it might be worth it to order from somewhere else #the sellers I usually buy from on Amazon normally sell it for around $9 including shipping#. For me the extra $2 is worth knowing that my foundation will get to me in perfect condition and not cracked or falling apart. I'm not returning the foundation I purchased from here because I can still use it using a brush, it's just a major annoyance and I can't use it in my compact or like I normally would use the foundation. « less" - Swanson Health Products user

"**L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19** is a light, airy, non clogging mineral makeup that I use very often. I use "Nude Beige" during the winter months, when I don't have a tan at all, and I use "Sun Beige" during the summer months, when I do have some color from the sun on my face.I like this mineral powder foundation VERY much! It covers flaws, uneven skin tone, and other imperfections without the feel of a heavy cream or thick compact foundation.I use it more often during the spring and summer because you can't even tell that I'm wearing any type of foundation, but it makes my face look smooth and healthy. It doesn't sink into fine lines and wrinkles as other types of foundations do, and it's a lot less expensive than "Bare Ecsentuals" yet it works just as well for me.I love the big fluffy applicator brush that twists off of the top of the container to reveal the mineral makeup. It makes applying this makeup very easy and very even. It also gives me a healthy glow that looks extremely natural, and feels natural, too.The only thing I don't really like a lot about **L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19** is that it can be a little messy. The mineral powder easily falls off of it's brush and onto my counter and into my sink if I'm not careful. Still, that's not a big enough problem to downgrade my rating of the product. It's almost impossible to apply any loose mineral foundation without making a little bit of a mess. It's worth it! Just make sure to apply the makeup before dressing--I mean wear a robe or big nightshirt while applying makeup, then put on whatever you're going to wear for the occasion, so that none of the foundation gets on your clothing.L"Oreal's description of this product is: *"L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation SPF 19: "a pure, powdered mineral foundation that gives your complexion a flawless finish without irritating skin. "I just love this stuff. Bought on vacation as I needed something. It is very natural looking, does not feel like a foundation, more like a tinted moisturizer but dries with a silky velvet texture. I do not need powder over this to set it; it sets and dries on its own (hate powder) and lasts all day long. I usually use a TM and am finding those to be too thick these days and goopy. This provides just enough coverage to make me feel "done". For those with dry skin that want a light to medium coverage - doubt it will work with oily skin. Only bad thing I can say (and I have tried so many foundations - hated them all), is that the bottle cap is horrible. Wish it came in a tube or pump to keep it sanitary and not spill. This is the "old style" glass packaging for a foundation, and its a "new style" skin finish style foundation so Almay needs to get with the program. Also has a light smell and wish it had no smell but it is not too overpowering. If this continues to work, I will be thrilled as I am now spending $55 on the same amount of foundation (high end stuff) and this is nicer, better overall color, finish, texture, etc. « less" - drugstore.com user

"This powder is so good for my dry skin. Almost so soft that it doesn't feel like most powders! My only complaint is, I bought the lightest shade, and it looks like my shade in the pan, but on my face its still just a bit too deep for my liking. Please make an even paler shade, for us pale skin girls! We need setting powder too :) (same goes for deep skin girls-- we need even more shade options). Despite being a bit too deep, I'm in love with this power's formula. Its the ONLY powder I've tried, that doesn't make my super dry skin look like a cracked, cakey desert. If you have dry skin, please try this out! You'll be glad you did :) If you're super pale like me though, choose the shade lighter than you think you need, because it looks darker once applied over foundation. This powder is great for setting foundation and concealer, because if you go in with a light application, it doesn't take away all of your skin's dewiness, but it somehow still sets it completely so it won't budge. Helps my concealer not crease, too. Please keep making this powder, NYX, but consider making another pale shade (basically true white would be good) and more deep shades :) This is one of my favorite NYX products, along with their Gotcha Covered Concealer, Butter Gloss, Taupe blush (used as a contour powder), Epic Ink Liquid Eyeliner, and Dewy setting spray. "For my base I used the concealer on all of my blemishes which I what I normally do on light days instead of caking on foundation. I love using stick concealers for this because it's always so much quicker and easier. I used the shade light and it was a really good color match for me which is lucky. It applied really easily with a brush and sponge which is awesome and I didn't have any trouble getting it to stick to my nose which is always a good sign. I would say it's a medium coverage concealer with a natural finish. It's not quite dewy OR matte, it just looks like skin and I love that because my ultimate goal with all of my makeup looks is to make my skin look healthy and natural. It evened out my skin tone really well but didn't cover every single blemish and freckle which is nice because it looks less like a mask and more like my skin. It didn't feel heavy or look cakey at all and I noticed that the area around my nose and above my top lip didn't separate or look congested which is something I really struggle with because those are the oiliest parts of my face so I was honestly really happy with the outcome. I didn't feel the need to layer it at all but I did try to on my chin just to see if it was buildable and it definitely was which is great. "Revlon New Complexion One Step Compact Makeup is a very blending makeup. It is a makeup that you can put on in mintues because it is very fast covering when i apply it to my face before i know it iam beautiful. It gives me such a glow. This makeup just glides on so easy i have never experince a makeup that is so easy to use other makeup that i have used always cakes up on my face at the end of the day i could not see the makeup any longer on my face but not thai makeup it is the most fantastic makeup i have ever used .I just cannot say enough about this makeup there just is not another makeup on the market that i have used that will stay on your face all day it will keep it's color it will not get dry on your face or lose the smooth feel on your face when you apply it like some other makeup i used I would advice anyone who is a very busy person like myself who does not have time to be apply makeup on your face all though out the day you should purchase this makeup. "I love this foundation. I am very pale; I bought the shade 'Alabaster' because the palest shade looked verrry white (a+ shade range). I can't really speak on the range of the darker shades but they look impressive for drugstore products. The color matches me if I add enough bronzer, because it may be too pale at times. (To compare shades with other foundations I use 110 in Maybelline's Fit Me! Matte and Poreless Foundation which looks too dark for me, but keeps me from being pasty.) Back to the foundation. I have medium oily skin. I used the Coty Airspun powder and the Maybelline fit me powder on top of the foundation which I always use so I can not speak on the staying power by itself. After at least 7 hours, the foundation looked flawless. I bought the Nyx total control brush as well to achieve maximum results. With the brush the application is flawless. As to how the number of drops controls the level of coverage there suggestion is a little incorrect. I use about 4 drops to start then add more to achieve the level of coverage I want. This foundation layers well and covered up my redness (which I could never cover before. The foundation can definitely give full coverage. At my work, a group of people even commented on my face saying I had "natural beauty", my skin was flawless, and they couldn't tell if I had makeup or not on. As to the price, it was a little higher than most drugstore products and I had to order online because I was unsure I would find my shade and the brush in store. When I got the foundation I was shocked the see the size of the product, the dimensions are about 1.5 in x 1 in when I was expecting larger. I think the price could be a bit cheaper due to the size but you can easily find coupons for nyx products (I used to buy 2 get 1 50% off). All in all, I would definitely recommend to a friend I absolutely adore this foundation. Less" - ulta.com user

"My skin has always been dry and acne prone, yet oily on my nose and forehead. For the longest time, I have used acne medications, and fortunately, most of my acne is gone, but my skin is still sensitive and breaks out if I don't maintain my skin care routine daily. I have been using Neutrogena's skin-clearing liquid foundation, which has worked fairly well for me, but lately, my skin has looked dull because of the salicylic acid's drying affect on my skin. So, since Neutrogena has never let me down yet, I might try another of their liquid foundations to try and solve my dry skin problems. After searching and searching and looking through about 100 reviews, I decided on buying this foundation the next time I went to the store. The next day, I eagerly cleansed, medicated, and moisturized my face, and put this foundation on next. INSTANTLY, I noticed a difference in the way my face looked...I looked radiant, glowing, flawless, hydrated, and incandescent...and yet, I felt like I wasn't even wearing makeup! In fact, it didn't even look like I was wearing makeup, but that I had a naturally perfect complexion and had merely moisturized my face thoroughly. My acne scars were covered nicely without looking cakey, and my skin felt silky soft and smooth while wearing the makeup, and after taking it off. Having had a typically dull and matte face all the time, I was in awe of seeing my face have a healthy shine that didn't look greasy, even on the oily parts of my face. I've been using it for only a week now, and have even gone biking in the heat while wearing this foundation, and I am pleased to say that I have not had a single breakout or redness from sensitivity from wearing this foundation. The fact that it has added SPF is an added bonus, since I can't normally wear sunscreen without looking greasy. Thank you, Neutrogena! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="9056083768248251275-full" data-show="9056083768248251275-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Neutrogena user
"I took some time to pour through Ulta foundations and their reviews, looking for something under $20 with reviews to rival luxury brands. In the end, this seemed like the clear answer.I've used Covergirl Foundation in Creamy Natural for as long as I've worn makeup. Recently, I've started to feel like I need something that'll last longer - Covergirl always seems to melt away, unless I put effort into priming (I rarely do). It's also rather shiny on oily skin, especially if I start with a moisturizer (I always do). Again, this seemed like the answer! When I made it into the store, I was faced with choosing a shade. While online, I did not fully appreciate the fact that THERE ARE ONLY 8 COLORS. This is a specialty subset of Revlon foundation, and it doesn't have a fully developed range of shades. There isn't a shade for everyone, and colors do not correlate with the Covergirl shades that I know.If you do find your shade, this is wonderful. It's medium coverage, and it doesn't disappear during the day, or let your face turn oily. It also doesn't look cakey or thick. I dab it on with my fingers, then use a beauty blender. It has a great finish, and you can layer it over moisturizer without it melting off. It lasts all day. With some effort, it washes off - but it doesn't just rinse away (yay!). I would recommend it.The rest of this review pertains to colors:There's a lack of help with choosing makeup on the "cheap" side of the store. Poor lighting, a lack of mirrors, no samples (of this), and no associates meant I was stumped. I didn't let this affect my star rating for the product, but it was so difficult - come on, Ulta!Again, THERE ARE ONLY 8 COLORS. That's not a lot.I am a natural medium blonde with pale coloring, but I'm not one of those girls who always needs the lightest foundation. I am medium light, not lightest light. I also have more pink coloring than yellow - something I've never put so much thought into. "Ivory" is pink, but it's an extremely light shade. It's something I might use for highlighting, but not something I could use for my main foundation.Buff and Sand Beige look very yellow hued, however. As I said, I'm pink, and it seemed obvious that these wouldn't match. Next come Nude and Natural Beige, which look extremely similar. Now, these are solidly in the middle of the light-to-dark 8-color range. I'm still pale, if not the palest, and middle-range is a bit dark for me. Everything else is for darker tones. Now, even apart from the poor testing environment, it's difficult to examine these colors in-store. The glass jar is very thick and shallow, so you don't get a good view of what's inside. There's a color sticker on top, but that feels risky. I finally went with Nude, because it's placement suggested it was lighter than Natural Beige, and I was at a loss. After bringing it home, I quickly found that Nude did not match. It's yellow, and it looks absolutely dark and gray on my face. I tried using less, and it didn't help. It had to go back. Now, Nude looked dark and gray (yellow), but the two lighter colors (Buff and Sand Beige) looked much yellower to me. Nude was already too yellow, so I couldn't choose those. Ivory is pink, but also nearly white - I couldn't choose that either. Although Nude was already dark, I had to go in the opposite direction, and try Natural Beige. These two colors look pretty identical side by side, which was why I was willing to try "darker." When I applied Natural Beige, the results were much better. Although I'd call it an overall neutral undertone, this color was more pink than Nude, so it didn't look so gray on my skin. It's still a little dark, but when you blend it in, it actually looks very nice. I don't think it's my perfect match, but I can use this color and be happy.I wish revlon would offer more shades of this amazing foundation - especially more pink toned shades! If you're experimenting, good luck, and thank god for return policies. Less" - ulta.com user
"Loving this new foundation by NYX! Excellent for summer and Perfect for my dry skin. Gives off a radiant glow and dewy look. Hydrating, long-standing, little-no transfer, smooth finish, nice shade range (45); left no dry flakes anywhere. Honestly, Im sick of all the matte! We need something on the other side of the oily spectrum. FINALLY, something for us dry skinned faces! Vegan, contains natural oils/vitamins at a great value. Powder over if you do want more of a matte look but w/o the cakey dryness. May be too much for overly oily skin, especially on t-zone. But you could apply elsewhere (cheekbones, jawline, temples, etc.) for a contoured glow. Liquid formula blends like bb/cc moisturizer. So, one layer is about minimal coverage. Did cover my freckles/blemishes well. But as I was blending some seemed to just wipe off. Either my beauty blender sucks or I was pressing too hard. For more coverage you really gots to layer this on. Fortunately, it builds well without turning into a grease mask. Ended up patting on and blending with my fingers then lightly w blender. I like very much this (as stated) natural coverage. Its adjustable depending on the look youre going for. Stayed on for at least six hours (in heat) and only because I washed it off. Hardly any transfer. In fact, took a few washes to completely remove, which I find unusual with a dewy foundation as they norm slide right off. No breakouts so far. Only con, for me personally, that the shade (Neutral Buff) is too yellow for my pale freckley complexion (I wasnt shade matched as this was received complimentary for testing). I can still use it but, with 45 shades, next time Ill grab another. Highly recommend, especially if you struggle with dry skin and are tired of drying foundations. Ill buy again; next time though another shade. I received this product complementary for testing purposes. However, has no effect on my honest review. "I have this in Shell 01 which is great for my NC 15 skin. I bought an expensive one last week and will be returning it as it doesnt compare to this one. This powder foundation WILL give you descent coverage if you use the sponge included. A brush will not get you any coverage and you will be disappointed. I usually never use the sponge, but you need towith this one. I conceal a few spots first and tinted moisturizer and make sure i allow the moisturizer to dry first or it will oxidize. it does oxidize a tad but not like the super expensive one I purchased. This is NOT CAKEY (Like the expensive one) and made my skin look better as the day went on. At first, you might think it's too powdery, but quickly it melts into your skin. Stayed put and matte all day. I JUST LOVE THIS. I used it over foundation, but it works better in my opinion over a lighter tinted moisturizer. The expensive one I purchased really emphasized my pores, which is a no no for me.....THAT is when I realized how great this powder is. Plus no bismuth (I'm talking to you MAC) so no breakouts. "I really didn't want to try a liquid makeup because the few I've tried look caked on and greasy, whereas powders and mouses seem to work better with my skin, rather than sit on top. But my prom was coming up, so I decided to try this product to keep my acne at bay during the day.I love love love love this product! It is smooth and mats oil throughout the day, rather than sitting on top of my face like other liquids. I am pale and burn easily, so I love that this product also has SPF for everyday. Just in the first couple of days, my face feels smoother and softer, and no new blemishes at the end of the day. My pores were reduced in size and the coverage was excellent. Definitely going to stick with this product, well worth the price. My face was perfect by prom!Careful on picking a shade, it looks darker in the bottle than it actually is (so if you get a chance, dab some on your skin at the store to make sure the shade matches). Some people said this product made their face dry, but I have slightly oily skin, so this product works best for me, no dryness!Besides using this Neutrogena product, I also use the Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask (I use it as a night mask mostly), which I love and also recommend!Love Neutrogena, this is a keeper! « less" - neutrogena.com user

"This is my go-to for a clean matte look. The pressed powder may not offer sun protection, but it allows for a nice soft finished face and minimizes the appearance of the pores on my face. The cute compact is small and portable with a small mirror for on the go application. I would recommend for people with combo to oily skin as it is a matte finish and may otherwise leave your skin looking dry." - walgreens user
"I've never been disappointed with anything I've bought from this company and this foundation is no different. It gives a medium buildable coverage with a beautiful dewy, lumionous effect to the skin. I have dry to combo skin and this covers everything I need it to, pores, minor discolouration, redness & the occasional hormonal breakout. It feels like you are wearing nothing on the skin. It moves with you, is highly moisturising and gives a lit from within look. If you are looking for a matte finish with powdering this still gives the skin a life like appearance. I love it. I normally wear Diors air flash foundation. The price may be low but do not let that deceive you. I'm a very high end girl and this has given the look that the most expensive out there do. The shade range on my porcelain skin is incredible and I was able to match 1st time round with their large range of colours. I love this product and will be repurchasing. Another fantastic item from the ordinary. A big thank you to Wayne Goss for first bringing this company to the forefront of my mind years ago. I've been using their skin care for years and was over the moon to see they have now branched out in to mcosmetics." - beautybay user
"I was so excited to get the 3 in 1 foundation in the mail since I've been looking for a drug store foundation that actually worked. I loved that there was a bigger selection of colors to pick from and I LOVED that it came in a pump bottle. I was however, worried about getting the product online because you can't be sure if it would actually match my skin color. I went with the color Ivory which online seemed a little too light, but when I got it in the mail, it seemed a little too dark in the bottle. I immediately had to try the foundation out if the cover was right for me, how it felt, the coverage and so on. As of right now I don't have any acne I just have red patches and a little bit of acne scars here and there. I applied one and a half pumps and used a stipple brush on one side and my fingers on the other side. USE A BRUSH OR BEAUTY BLENDER! For me personally, using my fingers made me extremely cakey but the side I used my brush turned out amazing! It's not a full coverage foundation by any means but you can add another layer and that helps build it up and it still looks amazing! I put the foundation on just to try and my husband complemented me right away saying the redness was gone and it didn't even look like I was wearing anything on my face, which is another thing. You cannot feel this foundation on your face. It doesn't feel foundation, it feels like a light powder on your face. The reason I say it's better than a high end product is because it does the same exact thing as a high end foundation-it's just way more affordable! Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a drug store foundation that works just as fine as a high end product. "I had never bought anything from BH Cosmetics before, even though I get emailed with the specials everyday. When I saw this on sale, I decided that it wouldn't hurt to try it, plus as a professional Make-Up Artist, I needed to replenish my foundation supply. I purchased 1 in every color. When they came, I tried on the color that matched my complexion, to test the texture, wear and color blend on my own skin, and I was very impressed with how smoothly and flawless the application looked, and how lightweight it felt. I couldn't even see that I was wearing foundation, it blended so well. (I test foundation on my face, and not my hand). I have normal to dry skin, and my color from this collection is Hazelnut. I have noticed that the foundation looks lighter through the bottle than when it is dispensed. This could be because of the frosted embellishment the bottle has. Anyway, I used this liquid foundation for a photo shoot on a model who wore the color Light Olive. The product is thick, buildable, and heavily pigmented, so you want to apply a little at a time. I would describe it as having the ability to give up to full coverage. This I did and it definitely covered the few acne breakouts that she had at the time, and evened out her skin tone, making it flawless. This foundation passes the flash photography test, and is long-wearing. I had to leave the photo shoot early, and the photographer told me afterward that no touch ups were required. The photo shoot was done outdoors in Summer, and the model had several wardrobe changes. I am immensely impressed at the quality since I am used to higher end brands, some of which do not perform well under pressure. If you are wanting to try this, you get the green light from me. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-7483872648145540121-full" data-show="-7483872648145540121-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - bhcosmetics.com user
