Naturally Gentle Eye Makeup Remover by Clinique

"I think the people who are saying they need to tug at their skin ir tgat it feels oily aren't using thus product properly. I wear Skinceutical 50spf mineral sunscreen every day and while it feels great on my skin, it's near impossible to get off. Which is nice when you're a natural redhead paddling around in the Adriatic sea in 40 degree c weather, but not so much when you want a fresh clean face for your serums and moisturizer etc. I got a little size of this to try and I still haven't run out but ut's already in my re-order list. I put about a teaspoon amount or less in the palm of my hand and smear it all over my face - eyes lips etc, gently massaging aroubd my eyelashes to get my mascara loose, then splash it off with lukewarm water and everything is gone. If i feel like I need it I follow up with a foamy cleaner on my clairsonic, but most of the time the oil takes everything off and leaves my skin feeling clean enough. This takes makeup off better than anything else I've tried, and I have very sensitive dry eyes and this feels great. Sometimes if I get a bit of oil in my eyes my vision is "foggy" for a few seconds but it doesn't sting. If you use mineral makeup or full coverage foundation, this cleanser is a must. Less" - Sephora user

Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil by boscia

"I bought this to replace my makeup wipes as I wanted to switch to something with more natural ingredients. Also, even though I washed my face after using the wipes (acne prevention), I never felt like the wipes did a very good job of cleaning the makeup from my face.I use this to remove my makeup before showering. One pump of cleansing oil removes my longwear foundation, eyeshadow and primer base, and waterproof mascara. Granted, I do have to (gently!) scrub just a bit to loosen the mascara, and by the end of my shower, it's rinsed completely out. This glides across your skin very nicely so you don't HAVE to scrub, and it rinses off cleanly, leaving your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. I haven't noticed it foaming once I add water but that may be because my eyes are closed. I also don't think this is exfoliating, but that doesn't bother me since I have another product for that. As others have mentioned, make sure you are using this on DRY SKIN and then add water later, or else it will not work properly! Though I prefer not to, you can definitely use this as your main cleanser.Boscia, I'm sold. I'm excited to see how long this bottle will last me, since I've been using it for two weeks and the product level has barely gone down. I'm pretty sure that it is already a better value than my 30-pack of wipes, so I'll be a repeat customer for sure. « less" - Sephora user

Take it Away Gentle Eye & Lip LongWear Makeup Remover by Estée Lauder

"Finally! A product that helps me remove all of my foundation. My mom had a sample of this product and I had to buy the full size when I realized it removed my makeup without irritating my skin. I have very sensitive skin and my face doesn't like most products I try. Whenever my face doesn't agree with a product I get perioral dermatitis around my nose crease, smile lines and chin. As a makeup artist, I prefer a full coverage glam look. I use a gentle cleanser that isn't super soapy, therefore it sometimes has a hard time removing all of my foundation even though it's amazing for my skin! Before I wash my face I use Take It Away and tahdahhh! No leftover makeup on my face and no irritation! Mind you I do wash it off after I massage it on. It says you can just wipe it off and you don't have to rinse. I'm not sure how that would work for my skin. In my experience I always have to wash after any type of makeup remover. I'm glad I discovered this product. My skin feels super soft after too! As a side note, I have weird combination skin. Oily forehead, dry nose, mouth and chin, and normal around my eyes and cheeks. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__expand-link pd-reviews__translate-span" data-hide="-6449230253172024847-full" data-show="-6449230253172024847-short" jsaction="pdui.tvc">« less</span>" - Estée Lauder user

Pure Comfort Eye Makeup Remover by Aveda

"The Aveda eye makeup remover makes removing mascara (even water proof mascara) very easy and gentile. You can apply a small amount to remove all of your eye make up and not have to scrub your eye or lose any eye lashes in the process of removing your makeup. I have sensitive eyes and many products have irritated them and I wear contacts - but I have never had a problem with this eye makeup remover. As with all of the Aveda products I have ever used it smells nice and a little bit goes a long way - which makes it very affordable and an overall great product. " - aveda user

Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water by Bioderma

"I first fell in love with the Sensibio H2O, but my skin is so dry that it starts to feel tight as soon as I'm done cleansing (no matter the cleanser), so I decided to try the Hydrabio to see if it really was more hydrating. I still had some Sensibio so I cleaned one side of my face with that, and the other with Hydrabio. The side with Hydrabio was clearly more hydrated and less tight feeling. I like that both micellar waters are the same price, yet Hydrabio is just as efficient at removing makeup and debris and has the addition of more hydrating ingredients. It also has Niacinamide pretty high up on the ingredients list, which Sensibio does not have at all. My only complaint with Hydrabio is that there is fragrance, however it has not irritated my skin so I will probably continue to choose Hydrabio over Sensibio. Either way, Bioderma makes the best micellar waters, you can't go wrong with either of these. " - dermstore user

Instant Eye Makeup Remover by Clarins

Clarins instant eye makeup remover is a gentle, effective makeup remover. This product comfortably removes heavy or waterproof eye makeup, without leaving behind an oily residue.

Vitamin B Enzyme Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover by One Love Organics

"This cleanser is actually enjoyable to use - it smells really great and it warms quickly between my hands. In the morning I only use one pump, and at nighttime, I use two pumps to get all my makeup off and sometimes do a second cleanse, though I don't think I would need it. Then I do as it says and add a splash of water and it glides really easily over my skin, turning into a milk from the oil. I get occasional breakouts, usually nothing crazy, but I went through the worst breakout I've ever gone through - cystic acne on my jawline, breaking out across my forehead and my cheeks - I had no idea what happened! But I decided I needed to do a skincare switch, but wanted to keep it simple and tackle my problems without killing my face. This has gently soothed my broken skin, kept new breakouts at bay, and is slowly helping with any acne scars. I am definitely going to keep using this - it is perfect for my sensitive skin and I think will be perfect for keeping my occasional breakouts at bay. It's definitely worth the price!" - dermstore user

Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm by belif

"As far as cleansing balms go, this is my first one but man it does not disappoint! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review and I am so thrilled with it! I had been meaning to try a cleansing balm because I just recently started using a Gua Sha and it works flawlessly with this! Such a neat product too! It kinda melts on your skin into an oil but actually cleans your skin and takes off all the makeup and sweat and grime from the day! When you rinse it off, the oil actually dissolves in the water it's the strangest thing! My skin feels so clean and soft but not dry or irritated! This is exactly what I needed for winter months when I don't want to dry out my skin but still want to cleanse. The smell is super therapeutic also, reminds me of something I would have in a diffuser. Very mellow citrus smell! All in all I am absolutely thrilled with this product! My skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts but this didn't hurt it at all, just a nice gentle cleanse but really does a good job :) also love that it comes with a little spatula to keep everything clean and hygienic!" - sephora user

Ultra Calming Makeup Removing Wipes by Aveeno

"I received the Aveeno Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Wipes, 25 Count and I love it. These daily exfoliating wipes are super convenient. At first thought the wipes seemed to feel a little dry so I was concerned they might not take off my make-up, but the wipes did a great job of removing all my make-up. I used them at night before bed to clean my face of makeup quickly and completely. They have a light fresh scent; and are a generous size, ensuring complete makeup removal. The wipes are soft in texture and gentle on the face which leaves my skin soft, clean, even-toned, and greatest of all hydrated after each use. The product really works with my sensitive skin. I did not experience any redness or breakouts. I love that my skin brightens up and keeps an even tone after use. The wipes felt non-abrasive, and soft, which I liked. With this product, I did not have to scrub my face, just gently wipe. Overall, I loved them and would purchase again and they are priced just right. « less" - walmart.com user

Demaquillant Yeux Intense Gentle Bi-Phase Eye Makeup Remover by Chanel

"I had tried countless eye makeup removers prior to purchasing Chanel Gentle Bi-Phase Eye Makeup Remover this fall- and could not be happier with it. I have very sensitive skin that reacts to many products, and am used to finding eye makeup removers that leave the skin around my eyes pink, with makeup rubbed into the under-eye area, giving the appearance of dark circles, no matter how much or which product, what kind of pads or removal technique I used. I was travelling and purchased the product at the recommendation of a store associate after I learned the store did not carry Philosophy, the brand I previously used religiously, as it left far less residue from mascara mimicking dark circles under my eyes than other eye makeup removers. I was skeptical, that Chanel's product would be better for me- especially at 3.4 ounces, for $34, compared to the product I previously used, which contained 6 ounces for $21. However; it has lasted much longer than other brands, as I use less due to the packaging/bottle design, as well as the lack of need to use the product several times for it to be effective. also, as I travel frequently, it is easy to pack and the bottle never leaks as others have done, most notably Philosophy's Release Me, which leaked nearly every time I flew or even packed the product for a drive. Lastly, Chanel's product has not irritated the skin around my eyes in any way and takes far less time to use. I highly recommend this product." - nordstrom user

Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

"I have crazy sensitive eyes. So the hunt for an eye makeup remover that isn't harsh and doesn't sting is an endless battle for me (I have tried Clinique, Lancome, Makeup Forever, etc.). I previously used Philosophy's Release Me, which didn't sting, but took effort to remove all of my eye makeup...and I ended up losing a few eye lashes every night in the process...my lids were going bald!I decided to give this one a try based on the reviews and since it looks like a similar consistency as the Philosophy. I also hoped it wouldn't sting as well and possibly be more effective. I got my wish! No eye lashes lost and all my eye makeup came off more quickly. Just let the product on your cotton swab/pad sit on your eye for 15 seconds or so first and then begin to gently wipe.My only gripe about this product is the opening at the top of the bottle...doesn't seem to dispense enough product. Not a big enough problem for me to not be happy with it or reduce the number of stars! So you ladies with the super sensitive eyes, give this one a try... « less" - Sephora user

Gentle Eye Makeup Remover by Estée Lauder

"As a woman with sensitive eyes, I am constantly on the lookout for better eye products - and I have found a winner in Estee Lauder's Gentle Eye Makeup Remover! Due to said sensitive eyes, I tend to wear waterproof mascara (if I don't, I end up with black eyes as they water throughout the day, and mascara ends up below my eyes, rather than on my lashes!). The trouble with wearing waterproof mascara is trying to get it off at the end of the day. I've used makeup removers that require rubbing to remove makeup, which ends up breaking capillaries in my under eye area - but, I have no need to rub with Estee Lauder! I wet cotton pads with remover, dab to moisten lashes, wait 30 seconds, then lightly wipe away mascara - no more harsh rubbing for my eyes! I am happy to report, my seemingly unending search for a great eye makeup remover has come to an end. As if this resolution wasn't great enough - the excellent price gets me smiling all over again. Rose Eye Makeup Remover by chantecaille

"I'm about as difficult as possible to please when it comes to eye makeup remover. I need something tough enough to remove the many layers of mascara that I love to put on at the beginning of the day, but I also need something incredibly gentle on my eyes, something that won't pull or sting my extra sensitive eyes. This product strikes the perfect balance. I have even gotten some of it directly in my eyes, accidentally of course, and it doesn't seem to bother them a bit. It's incredibly gentle on my eyes and the delicate skin in my eye area, but it also easily removes my eyeliner and all the layers of mascara. Granted, I don't know how it works on waterproof mascara, but it works like really well on regular eye makeup. I hold a cotton pad soaked in the remover on my eyes for a bit before I wipe, and it works like a charm. This is a great product. Less" - esteelauder.ch user

Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover by Sephora Collection

"To be fare this is my first makeup remover I have ever bought. My sister recommended it, and I have already bought small bottles for my family. With just a couple gentle strokes my stubborn Dior Waterproof Mascara comes off so easily. I have very sensitive eyes and this did not cause any problems that baby oil does. It was actually not very oily just made my eyes feel soft and clean. My mother has very small and delicate eyelashes and she is always scared to use anything on them. She uses this with her regular mascara and it works wonders as well. It also takes off my eyeliner or eyeshadow that I have on with an ease. I usually hate it when I take off my makeup because my curled eyelashes will turn flat and I go from Princess to Ogar in a flash, but this actually kept them looking perfect somehow. BUY THIS! It is so cheap. I actually would buy the smaller bottle. This thing is gonna last forever because I only use four small drops a night (two drops per eye on a toilet paper square-yes I am classy). The smaller bottle is also easier to travel with for over nights. My fiance loves looking at the bottle too like its some awesome lava lamp how the layers separate and sparkle. Make Up Remover For Sensitive Eyes by marcelle

"I've heard a lot about "double cleansing" with an oil based cleanser and then a water based one. While it seems like a good idea, I never wanted to do that much work. Enter Marcelle Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover For Sensitive Eyes. What the product description doesn't tell you is that it's a bi-phase cleanser, meaning that it's a two in one oil and water based cleanser. Before use you vigorously shake the bottle, because the oil and water will separate. You then apply it to a cotton round and clean away, eliminating the need for a second step, and removing all of your makeup. I LOVE it because it makes taking off even water-proof mascara easy without irritation, and when I'm tired and just can't manage actually washing my face, it removes the rest of my makeup as well. It's great for lazy girls like yours truly, but is GREAT for your skin - I'm left glowing and moisturized but super squeaky clean. I also love that it's affordable. Seriously the best thing ever. Less" - Birchbox user

Micellar Water 3 in 1 Refreshing by L'Oreal

"I have used makeup wipes, reusable washcloths, and micellar water previously to remove makeup, my experience with micellar water was only 'ok' so I was really interested to try L'Oreal's version out. I tried out the Normal to Oily Skin version of L’Oréal Skin Expert Paris' line of micellar cleansing waters. First impressions were that the bottle is huge, it's a lot of product at 13.5 fluid oz. Which is awesome because many other types of micellar water than I have used and seen have been significantly smaller and that becomes frustrating when you're using it regularly and running out frequently. I've been using it for a few weeks and the bottle still looks full. When you open up the bottle it has a very clean scent. Be careful when squeezing the bottle! I have accidentally had a ton pour out. I never had to scrub at all to remove makeup, just a few swipes around did the trick. It did sting a bit on my eyes (I followed the instructions to hold it on the eye for a few seconds before wiping off), but it wasn't bad, I just noticed it every time I used the micellar water on my eye makeup. I feel as though it did a fairly good job removing all of the makeup, it definitely took of eyeliner, eye shadow, lipstick, and mascara with ease. I was particularly impressed by how well it removed mascara which is typically the hardest to remove, as well as removing dark staining lipstick. I really enjoy that it is safe to use and works for every part of the face. It doesn't leave a taste or anything when used on lips. It's very gentle to boot, it doesn't irritate my skin in the slightest. It has a nice mattifying effect, I have combination skin and oil is a big problem. I've been using it in the morning before I apply makeup to clear out excess oil and start with a super fresh face. Overall I've been very happy with this micellar cleansing water. It's definitely the best of the micellar waters that I've tried. I'm not sure if it'll become my go-to method for removing makeup on a daily basis; just because it does produce a lot of waste as opposed to my reusable cloths. However, I'm really enjoying it for days when I just want to take off my makeup and crash ('cause I need to or I will break out like crazy), and it makes my face feel matte and fresh in the mornings. Less" - lorealparisusa.com user

Eye & Lip Makeup Remover by NYX Professional Makeup

"I bought this a few weeks ago and tried it that day. I will never buy anything else as long as NYX keeps making this. It's very gentle on my sensitive skin and doesn't make my eyes burn or make them blurry. It's so much better than baby oil and other expensive or cheap waterproof make up removers I have used in the past. It takes off mascara quickly and I didn't pull out any lashes trying to get it off. It removes eyeshadow and primer in one or two swipes depending on how dark the eyeshadow is. " - nyxcosmetics.com user

Just Release Me Dual-Phase Oil-Free Makeup Remover by philosophy

"I usally purchase the MAC eye makeup remover but decided to try out a new one. I saw that the Philosophy has about double the amount of the MAC eye makeup remover and was a few dollars cheaper. I'm glad I decided to try it out. I was skeptical when I got the bottle and saw that it's the kind of solution you have to shake because it's separated but it honestly does a fabulous job of getting everything off. (I just wear mascara and I wear tons of it, a lot of layers) I usually hold the cotton pad over my lashes for a few seconds and then I just wipe off all the mascara! Wonderful product! Doesn't leave my eye area oily either or any residue behind. I have sensitive skin and I have not gotten any irritations. Highly recommend it!" - Nordstrom user

Perfect Lip & Eye Makeup Remover by Missha

"I have short, sparse Asian eyelashes. This is product that works well when combined with a mascara. It doesn't work well by itself. I did a side by side comparison with this fixer on one eye and no fixer on the other. I could tell my lashes were slightly thicker and longer. I say slightly because other people might not notice, but I did. I think it also helps keep the curl in longer. I found two coats of this is really good, then 2 coats of regular mascara really makes my lashes show up. I put this one before my sunscreen and it doesn't smudge off from the sunscreen. I also bought the Missha Ultra Waterproof Mascara which I also like. I'm always hunting for "perfect" mascara and eyeliner because my eyelids are monolid and oily. Most products seem to eventually smudge off after a while. This fixer and the ultra waterproof have stayed on all day. Also, I have sensitive eyes (Etude and Clinique make my eyes itch), and this product has been totally fine for me. I will stock up on this product in case they replace it (which they seem to do often). Less" - misshaus.com user

Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Revitalizing by banila co

"I have never tried a cleansing balm like the Banila line. There are four different types of balms in the line, and currently are formulated to suit different skin concerns. I used each for 3 days. The first one, Clean It Zero Original (pink bottle), is an unscented balm that applies easily. It removed my makeup and left my face feeling refreshed and "minty". No complaints and would use this one again! The second one I tried, Clean It Zero Purifying (blue bottle), in my opinion is suited for more sensitive skin that is also acne prone. True to its' name, it left my face purified and refreshed. It wasn't harsh, but still felt like it deep cleaned my skin. It did not irritate me or cause any adverse reaction. No complains and would use this one again, too!The Clean It Zero Nourishing (yellow bottle) in my opinion is suited best for dry skin that requires a little extra moisture, although it would probably work on any type! It felt very "light" compared to the others and had a more subtle affect. Again, no complaints on this one either! I would definitely try it again. The Clean It Zero Revitalizing (green bottle) was different in that it has a soft smell that is not too overpowering (for me anyways). It is the only one out of the four that had a noticeable scent, and was the only one that felt a little "waxy" after the application. Not a showstopper, as it easily was removed, but it definitely felt like a different texture compared to the rest. I would still use it again, but only if I had no other makeup removed. To conclude my review, I enjoyed trying each product in this line and figure out what works best for me. I would honestly like to incorporate these products into my routine after quarantine (not wearing as much makeup, haha) as a makeup remover. Each different formula removed my stubborn eyeshadows, mascaras, etc. without any irritation or spreading. These would also be great for a beginner who needs a good pre-cleanser or makeup remover! Less" - ulta.com user

Kind To Skin Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes by Simple

"I have used other wipes in the past and was not very impressed with the results. Some of the wipes used were expensive and from high-end brands. They; either irritated my eyes, stripped my skin, left a residue, were not moist enough and needed multiple wipes to get a decent amount of makeup off, or dried out before I could use them due to poor packaging design. I saw this product reviewed by a beauty influencer on YouTube on an empties video, and by far this was her favorite product. I had just purchased a one step cleanser, toner, and makeup remover from E L in a foam format (and could not return it fast enough). Their rep told me how wonderful it was, but it burned my eyes and left a sticky residue. I finally got my hand on these and am thrilled with the product performance. I only need to use one wipe for my entire face (takes off long wear products, setting spray, you name it. The product is soft, moist, and so soothing on my skin. I do not feel stripped at all after using it. I used a toner after to see how much makeup might be left after the first use, and there was nothing, and I mean nothing on the cotton round. My only disappointment is the quantity per package; there are 30/31 days in most months and these come in a 25 pack. It would be great if the packs came in 30 and the double pack would then be 60. Sorry for being long winded, but I wanted to share my experience with others (I am 47, normal to combination skin, & have sensitive eyes; some products will cause break outs even though I am not acne prone). The product is fantastic on my sensitive eyes, does not cause me to break out, and does not interact with my prescription retinol (on my skin - I am not making a product claim, just stating my personal experience). Wonderful product, and truly enjoy my cleanse (cool and refreshing). Super easy removal of a full face of makeup including long wear lipsticks, mascara, primer, setting powder and setting spray. Leaves me feeling hydrated and fresh. « less" - Target user

Clear Complexion Biodegradable Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes by Almay

"I really enjoyed my sample of Biodegradable Longwear Makeup Removing Cleansing Towelettes. First thing I was happy that the wipes are hypoallergenic , they worked very well on my sensitive skin especially my eye area. leaving no irritation, tackiness or greasy feeling. The size of the cloth is very adequate. larger than the palm of my hand. Made it easier to clean my face with larger swipes. The towelettes have just the right moisture to gently wipe away dirt oil and make up. I do have some make up that it long wear and this product cleaned it away without pulling or scrubbing. I was also pleased that the towelettes are biodegradable which is better for the planet. I highly recommend this product and my opinion is 100% my own. Sens’Eyes - Waterproof Sensitive Eye Cleanser by Make Up For Ever

"I have severely sensitive eye lids. My lids get so sensitive during extreme weather changes that they’ll flake and burn bringing me to tears…which just burns them more, of course. My mother is a doctor and (bless her heart) has researched, consulted, and shelled out tons of money with no luck finding a cure for my pathetic eyes until we finally found relief with daily doses of Vitamin A (about 20,000 UI daily, more before my period). That aside I still needed to get my makeup off without harming my newly lubricated skin. I tried expensive remedies (Dior, Givenchy…), cheap remedies (Vaseline, baby oil), and homemade concoctions combining over the counter products with capsules of Vitamin E, and so on. Most of these attempts ended after just one application and a dramatic conclusion involving a flood of tears and absolutely no makeup removed. Finally, after being impressed with other Sephora products, I tried this make up remover. I pump twice on a cotton ball and wipe each eye before going back over each lid one at a time. I gently rub for a few seconds until the product has been absorbed and then I switch to the next repeating the processes. My makeup is completely removed quickly, easily, and my skin is not harmed. I remove my makeup at night before washing my face, which I must do immediately or else my eyes will start to burn. This is not like burning I’ve experienced before. It’s very mild but nonetheless uncomfortable; however, warm water removes all product residue so I feel relief immediately. This is absolutely the only make up remover I will use and if it ever gets discontinued Sephora will be hearing from me! :) *Please note that I have extremely long, thick lashes and (now that I’m able to remove makeup) I usually coat my fringe with two or more applications of an intense black formula- this is no sissy remover. <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - Sephora user

Beauty Smarts Makeup Removing Towel Set by ULTA Beauty

"Cleansers are too harsh for my sensitive aging skin, as are tissues and irritating cleansing wipes. It is difficult for me to find a product that doesn't strip my skin or cause flaking and dryness. After a bit of research, I decided to try these cloths. They are truly a gamechanger for my daily routine. This product is easy to use, extremely soft, and the perfect gray color to camouflage the staining from makeup removal. Simply wet the cloth with warm water, and gently buff away your makeup. Amazing results in just a few swipes, with no irritation. In my case, I do not use waterproof mascara; so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of removal in that instance. But my non-waterproof mascara came right off without pulling out delicate lashes. The cloths allow for just the right amount of cleansing and exfoliation without aggravating your skin. After use, I rinse the cloth well and let it air dry. You can reuse the cloth several times before dropping it into the washer. Also- it is best to wash the cloths in the washer before the first use, and to not use fabric softener. Trust me- this material is very soft and gentle on skin- not at all like other microfiber products.Since using these cloths for makeup removal, I am finding my skin to be much less dry; with no flaky under eye patches. I find my makeup application to be smoother, and my need for moisturizer lessened. Excellent option for us gals with rosacea or sensitive skin. Ditch the irritating cleansing wipes and facial tissue- your skin will thank you. « less" - ulta.com user

Purete Thermale Soothing Eye Makeup Remover by vichy

"I received this item for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I use make-up removing wipes to take my make-up off because I find them very easy to use and I don’t have to worry about liquids getting into my eyes and irritating them. As someone with sensitive combination skin, I worry when trying something new that my skin will not react well to it; with this ‘Soothing Eye Make-up Remover’ I definitely had no problems. I first tried using it with cotton balls which, while effective, took very long. I decided to invest in some double-sided microfibre facial pads; one side being the microfibre cloth, and the other an exfoliating sponge. This boosted the effectiveness of the make-up remover for me. Not only could it take off my eye make-up, but the rest of it, too; which would be eyebrow creme-gel, blush, highlight, and matte liquid lipstick. I do not normally wear foundation or concealer so I cannot say how well it would remove those as well. I was very happy with the results because there was no extra residue to wash off of my face, it did not irritate my eyes at all, and it did not have any negative effects on my skin. It actually left my skin feeling very smooth. I did not have to use a lot of the product to get good results either; I think that’s very important to look at when buying items so you know if you’re getting a good value, especially when the items are more expensive. The only thing I did not like about this product was the smell. It’s not a bad or gross smell, but for me personally, it’s a bit medicine-like to begin with, but leaves a very perfume-like smell afterwards. Again, it’s not bad, but it’s just not something I’m used to. In conclusion, I think the Vichy Pureté Thermale Soothing Eye Make-up Remover works very well, quickly and gently, for any skin type or combination of skin types, and I would recommend it to anyone to try it a least once. « less" - vichy.ca user

Supremely Gentle Eye Make-up Remover by Kiehls

"This makeup remover is probably the most gentle one I have ever used. The texture is like a milky lotion and not greasy or oily at all, which is what I love about it since a lot of makeup removes have an oil base in them. It removes a majority of the makeup, though I find for waterproof mascara it won't work as well, which is understandable. Everything else though it will remove. The one downside is the price point for one its 24$ for a makeup remover, which is a bit pricey in my opinion. However, the Body Shop recently discontinued their gentle cream makeup remover which was exactly the same as this product so I will be sticking with this one for now! Overall, if you have sensitive eyes definitely give this a try! :) " - kiehls.ca user

Eye Makeup Remover Lotion-Hydrating by Neutrogena

"I have VERY dry skin and was in need of something to take my eye makeup off that was gentle so my skin around my eyes wouldn't flake. I've used drug store and high end eye makeup removers that are all oil in consonancy. The other removers I've used were ok but I don't think they ever truly got all of the makeup off or their oily residue. I picked up this product to give it a try for the first time. It says you can use a cotton ball or fingers. I first used my fingers and then wiped with tissue - I think I used too much product at first. Second day I used a cotton ball but didn't find this effective at all. Third use I used less product on my fingers and then wiped with tissue, EXCELLENT! I love that you use SO little and that it is lotion formula. I think it does a fantastic job getting eye makeup off ! <span class="shop__a pd-reviews__translate-span">« less</span>" - ulta.com user

Toleriane Ultra Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin by La Roche-Posay

"I have been experiencing the most worst skin I've had since my acne about 15 years ago. My skin has been hurting so badly, with red patches and bumps all over. I've tried everything and of course nothing worked, only irritating the situation . I came across this lovely cleasner and it immediately calmed and soothed my skin. My skin isn't 100% healed yet, I've only used it 3 time so I'm hoping with continuous use it'll keep working to heal my skin. Thank you so much for this awesome cleasner! " - laroche-posay.ca user

Hydrating Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes by Neutrogena

"I love Neutrogena products because they are not harsh on my skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and figured I would give this a shot. First off, it smells great! I enjoyed that! It is nice to have a nice scent, calming even, as I am wiping my makeup off before bed. Secondly, it took only one sheet to get all my eye makeup off. Normally I am going through a ton of sheets or pads. I greatly appreciated that! Just a few swishes instead of scrubbing as well! I did not like the greasy aftermath, though. It was oily. It added the extra step of having to wash that off, but I will take that for being able to gently wipe off my makeup and not have raw face!" - ulta user

Just Let It Go Eye Makeup Remover by Rimmel

"Influenster sent me a complimentary Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover to test and review. Before this, I had been using an oil-based makeup remover from a different company, and I did not like it. I was trying to use it up so I could buy a different kind, and Influenster happened to send me a Rimmel one! Let me tell you...this is one amazing product! It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it well! It removes all eye makeup, even waterproof makeup! It doesn't leave an oily residue, so it leaves my skin feeling "fresh". The oily kind would get in my eyes and mess up my vision for a while, no matter how careful I was, but the Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover doesn't do that! I had been having allergy problems (itchy eyes), and was a little hesitant to use this, but I did, and it didn't bother my allergies at all. I will definitely be buying this from now on!" - walgreens user

Eye Makeup Remover Lotion by Physicians Formula

"I had previously been using a high end cream makeup remover that was formulated for sensitive eyes, this had been the only product I could use that effectively broke down waterproof eye makeup and didn't irritate my eyes or the delicate skin surrounding them. This HE product had been my mainstay for years and the last bottle I purchased was horrible; stung my eyes worse than some cheaper brands. I was on the hunt for a new cream makeup remover when I found reviews of this product. I couldn't find it in stores anywhere so I ordered from Ulta when they had a BOGO 50%. I think I purchased two and stashed them under my sink while I continued the torture of finishing my "SENSitive EYEs" product. I got one of these out, opened it and haven't looked back! I did keep the other bottle since it had a nice shape and came with a pump that not only distributed just the right amount, it easily handled thick, creamy lotions without clogging up...it also looks nice on my bathroom vanity. How I use: I take a pump, or squirt (if using from the original bottle) and eyeball half and distribute on each eye with a gentle rubbing yo make sure that the product is smeared thoroughly. I then let it set while I brush my teeth so that it can breakdown my eye makeup and allow me to use less. I then take one of my makeup wipes and remove the rest of the makeup on my face and then gently wipe across my eyes, BAM all my makeup is off in what I feel is an extremely gentle manner, no scrubbing or hard wiping. I do sometimes fold the towelette over and gently go back over my eyes to make sure there is no residue left and then wash my face with my Clarisonic and then moisturize. This stuff cost 1/5th the price of my previous brand and it is so much better. My only complaint is that it is hard to find, not being available in stores, but definitely worth ordering even if this is all I purchase and have to pay S&H." - ulta user

Moist Eye Makeup Remover Refillable Dispenser by kleenex

"Kleenex Eye Makeup Remover really does the best job! I wear waterproof mascara because of allergy eyes and the occasional sad movie, so it is the toughest to get off and not have eyelashes come off with it. I get really leary of eye makeup remover pads and most are not gentle and the chemicals can cause problems for sensitive eyes. I took one out and noticed how generous they are on the pad and the smell was very light, it really removed the mascara and other eye makeup and I could use one pad on both eyes. I noticed my eye area felt soft and smooth and no red eyes from any residue. Kleenex really did well on this product and caring about the eye area, and ophthalmologist approved is really needed, great product and great company for creating a facial line of products. Cellular Eye Make Up Remover by la prairie

"During the day I use a day emulsion/lotion with SPF 30 on my face and I was looking for a richer product to use on my face at night, when I can use something richer on my face, and as a neck cream for day and night. The texture is incredible - when you put it on your skin just drinks it up and your skin feels incredibly smooth and plumped. It is not necessarily marketed as particularly hydrating, but it very much hydrates and keeps the skin protected - like there is a protective layer or veil left on the skin, without it ever feeling greasy or heavy. I have never felt a cream with such an amazing texture that really moisturizes and transforms the skin. The biggest visible difference is on my neck, where my skin is most dry and thin. My neck always shows crepiness and a loss of elasticity, and I have "sleep" lines or bands on my neck. This is the first cream I have used that actually got rid of the crepiness and smoothed the skin on my neck - and it lasts all day! When I ran out of the cream and started using another one in the interim, I noticed that the crepiness and dry skin on my neck came back. As long as you keep using it you will see amazing results. It is quite pricey, and I would prefer that it was at least one third less the price. I am not sure if I will keep using it since it is quite expensive and since I don't use it on my face during the day, but only on my neck and as a night cream. But if you have dry skin and plan to use it as your daily face cream, neck, and night cream - then it's probably worth it to buy this cream because you will get more use of it and won't have to double up on products. The results are truly amazing! An extra benefit is the very mild and comforting scent! « less" - Nordstrom user
