i'm blonde with fair skin and struggle to find a blusher that is the right shade without looking over the top the colour of this blusher is just perfect for me gives a really natural glow on the cheeks, i also have really sensitive skin with a touch of rosacia and this covers the patchy redness of my cheeks great, smells amazing will definatly be sticking with this one

staying power

it stays on for such a long time and is so beautiful and smells good

- Sephora User

easy to apply and lasts all day

- Ulta User

the texture is lovely, very smooth and soft - like nothing i've ever used

- Sephora User

this is for people who have pretty good skin who want that glowy smooth look and want their makeup to have more staying power

- Sephora User

does not have fallout

it does not have much fallout so i feel like i'm really getting the most out of it and the sparkles are not super apparent so you can easily wear it naturally

- Sephora User

and another thing i love this blush; there is no powdery dust when you swirl your brush in to pick up product

- Sephora User

it isn't exactly blush--too sheer to go on as a genuine rouge--but the most delicate pink all-over-face powder that brightens, warms the skin tone, and makes you look awake and alive

- Viewpoints User

it's a very light pink and you can apply it sheer or build it

Brightening Face Primer

I recently tried "That Gal" after receiving it in a Benefit sample pack, and I think it's great. I've been using it under the Benefit Some Kind Of Gorgeous cream to powder foundation and I notice that it helps it to last much longer and look much smoother, plus it truly does brighten. One thing I've discovered is that it works just as well to mix a little of the primer with my face lotion instead of puttting it on as a whole separate layer. This makes the product last MUCH longer, thus it becomes more economical since it is rather expensive for the amount you get. Doing it this way also keeps my makeup from feeling too heavy. You need to experiment for yourself as to the right proportions of lotion and primer. Sometimes instead of the cream to powder foundation I'll mix my face lotion, That Gal, and a little liquid foundation to make a brightening tinted moisterizer. I agree with other reviewers that this primer is not for heavy duty concealing of imperfections or the filling in of lines and wrinkles. Leave that to Smashbox Primer. This is for people who have pretty good skin who want that glowy smooth look and want their makeup to have more staying power. « less

I love this blush because it has a nice formula and feels good on your skin it's not the chalky heavy cakey powder some have. The color payoff is great you can build up the pigmentation if you like. I've been using it for years and have used it on friends when doing their makeup. I also suggest it all the time because I love it so much.I have fair skin but tan very easily and get quite tan due to my mixed background and it works well for all tones. The color looks slightly different on everyone but in a good way. It has a very natural look once applied. (Obviously not heavy handed). It creates a beautiful dewy looking rosy glow because of the metallic pigment in it. It's fabulous. Plus I hate the flat cakey matte look that everyone seems to have these days. So I like that this doesn't do that and gives you a fresh pop of blush. It can be subtle or intense depending on your application. I do like the little box it's cute but I go through it rather quickly because I use it so often so I wish it was double the size or that the pan was deeper considering the packaging . A girl can dream right? But I absolutely reccomend this blush! « less

Benefit rarely disappoints me

This primer is pure goodness. I am a freelance make-up artist and this primer is by far my favorite. In the past, I have tried many primers by other high-end companies, including Smashbox and Laura Mercier. By far, this one by Benefit has everything that I need in a primer (and perhaps, it does more!). I use this product on myself everyday, followed by a light-weight liquid foundation. I noticed longer lasting make up, a gentle glow, better coverage of breakouts, and overall lightened complexion. Plus, it doesn't give you those grainy dusts if you rub on it (a common problem with many primers...).In terms of application, I suggest using a clean foundation brush to gently cover your face and pat over with your fingers. I find that primer is most perfectly absorbed by the skin this way.Something leaves your face feeling very silky and flawless! Oh, and did I mention its delicious berry scent? I love it!*If you are expecting this primer to work magic on your skin and turn it lighter, you are looking at the wrong product. You should be searching for a product dedicated for lightening. This primer just makes your face catch more light in terms of make up.* « less

Generally speaking, I hate powder blushes because they look streaky and never last long. This is the first high end blush I've ever tried and it is just amazing! It lasts all day, the pigmentation is fantastic, it doesn't fade or look streaky and it can be worn everyday. Now, it an investment- but it works amazing and lasts forever. It's definitely worth the money, but make sure you get the shades that's right for you.

Didn't like it

Tried for a month or two and honestly...it sucks. I'm a dark skinned African American girl so the pink hue it gave when applying was not appreciated. It's really hard to spread because it's more of a thick gluey paste. In one -two hours, my makeup melts right off. The formula is very uncomfortable and drying on my face and makes me feel cakey even with minimal foundation. It doesn't brighten any better than my concealer does, 🤷🏾‍♀️ not a fan.
