staying power

i use it everyday; very simple, easy, and quick to apply before i go to school and lasts through the day

- Ulta User

i used it once so far since i bought it yesterday, it has lasted all day and its so rosey

- Sephora User

blends well

love the summery sweet tones here with gold and pink highlights — goes well with my very fair complexion and blends very well with highlighters

- Sephora User

the pink base blends in with my skin tone so you can't really see it but when it catches the light it's a soft pearlescent glow

- Sephora User

it's great for smoothing over pores and it really works well with my bare escentuals foundation (helps it stay on all day and not look overly cakey)

- Ulta User

it applies silky and lightweight, and i feel that it subtly evens my skin tone

- Sephora User

does not have fallout

no powdery mess-- and it's very lightweight

- Birchbox User

the only downfall of this and any other benefit powder is the cardboard packaging

- Boots User

sheer but is buildable which i love because this means i can go from a natural day look to a slightly glamorous look in the night without switching products :)

- Benefit Cosmetics User

it glides on like a dream, its not too sheer, the illuminator is sort of like a stick of high beam

This Oily Big-Pored Girl Loves It

Ok for all my girls with combination/oily skin & large pores, I feel your pain. I have sensitive acne-scarred and prone skin. Never ever had an "airbrush finish" with makeup. I have been searching and spent so much money looking for a good primer & foundation. I have tried Tarte's Timeless Primer, Cover FX Primer, Becca's Matte Primer, you name it and none has covered these gigantic holes on my nose. I always have the problem where it might look ok in the morning and then maybe 2 hours later everything is separating especially in the nose area where my pores pop out again. Its a ugly splotchy mess by mid-day.This morning was the first time I used POREfessional. I primed my face with emphasis on my nose at about 6:45am this morning. I gave it a couple of minutes to absorb and I put on my foundation (Stila Stay all Day Cream Foundation). I let that sit and then I lightly brushed my face with Tarte's Smooth Operator Finishing Powder (not pressed). I IMMEDIATELY saw a significant difference. No cakey feel to it at all. My pores were filled in. I took a pic at 7:30am and another at 4pm to showcase how my face looks. Not a good pic but hey its something. I didn't really need to touch up at all. I just gave it a few quick brush strokes of Tarte's finishing powder and I looked refreshed.A little tidbit for my girls with pores like mine, brushes also makes a HUGE difference. I used my middle & ring fingers for POREfessional primer. For Stila's Foundation, I first Make Up Forever's #108 Straight brush for everything but my nose. Its a good full coverage brush ideal for liquid & cream foundations. Then I use a small concealer brush for my nose. Once my foundation is blended throughout, I took Sephora's #42 Small Stippling brush and I dab a little more foundation on my nose. The stippling brush is made for huge pores and helps fill the pores in. I then took a light powder brush and dusted my face with the finishing powder. I never had an airbrush finish look but I do now! This combination really lasted all day for me. I didn't have a splotchy mess and the only thing I changed was the primer. Its also important to notate that you have best results when you have moisturizer on BEFORE putting on the primer. Or else you'll have dry flaky patches.I'm definitely buying this again! « less

Benefit is my favorite brand of cosmetics. I love everything I've tried. I became introduced to Benefit Cosmetics because of That Gal, Benetint and High Beam. I discovered "That Gal" when I complimented a total stranger on her awesome looking skin, only to be told it was Benefit's "That Gal." Lemon-Aid is on my top three products of things I'd take if I was going to be stuck on an island... I've since tried most of the Benefit products. I've been impressed every time.Benetint is a tnted cheek (and also lip) stain. Because it's a stain, it stays in place once applied. I OUTLINE a circle lightly on my cheeks with the brush that stays conveniently in place inside the jar until needed. I then apply High Beam across the very top of the circle. I blend both on my cheeks with my fingers, the way you'd blend any blush or powder. High Beam is a Benefit highlighter that is made to complement Benetint. Since they dry quickly, as they're supposed to (which is part of the ultimate appeal of these products staying put), do only one cheek at a time. Blend quickly. That's one of the huge benefits of the product - once dried it stays in place until you wash it off. (High Beam is a great highlighter than can be used in places other than your cheeks - for example, you can use it below your eyebrows, to highlight your eyes). Since both Benetint and High Beam are waterproof, this is great way to look great at the gym or if you're playing an outdoor sport where other products would either fade or "melt" away. I have a friend who wears this into the sauna and whirlpool and she says it lasts in steamy conditions, too. It removes easily with make-up remover or soap or cleanser when you want to take it off.Another great thing about these prouducts is that they can be worn to work in the morning, and you'll still be radiant if you're going out after work for a night on the town (or a romantic evening at home). It doesn't need to be reapplied. Sometimes I use it alone, and sometimes I use it over That Gal. Either way, the effect is totally natural and my skin looks perfect. You can also use it in conjunction with most any other make-up or face products. (If you want a smaller size to keep in your purse or to travel with, Benefit sells smaller ones in various kits which are also great values. But once again, you don't need to carry anything for reapplication - this does not generally need to be reapplied during the day, not even if you've spent part of it poolside. It lasts...).Benetint, High Beam and Posietint (the peach tint) are the best tints you can find. The container seems to last forever, so it must cost only pennies per application, if that. These three products look more natural than anything else I've seen. They're great additions to your make up collection. « less

A little goes a long way! Works instantly.

I have really big pores on my nose (including some scars left from pimples). I've been having a hard time concealing my nose because 1) The skin around the blemishes was cracked 2) Nothing concealed the pores properly because of the variation in texture. So I looked up reviews for different high and low end pore minimizers and decided to go with this one and I'm not regretting spending the $ at all on it.Firstly, you only need a tiny amount of product! Be very careful when you first squeeze the tube because a lot more product may come out than you need.Secondly, the texture of the cream feels so nice and velvety when you start to rub it into your skin. Doesn't feel caked on at all.Next, it works like a charm! It does exactly what it says and minimizes pores and fine lines. I ended up applying it to wherever I had small blemishes and it really evened out the texture of my skin in those areas (Chin and T Zone) and mattified. What's even more impressive, is that it works without having to put on makeup at all! Seriously! The product itself makes a huge difference on problem areas without having to wear makeup so you can still use it on non-makeup days! « less

Save your money for one of their box o' powders

I'm a bit of a Benefit junkie so I purchased this as soon as it came out but it's just not one of their best items. The watermelon is the most pigmented shade and tends to be the main color that you get vs. a blend.Save your money and buy Benetint or one of their box o' powders instead. Their powder blushes look very natural and have great staying power, which is far more than what can be said for fine one one.

Works as Promised!

I love Fine One One! I typically don't like products that are more than one color in one, because they are had to apply in the right areas. Not the case with Fine One One! This is so easy to use, and has buildable color, which makes it great for many different skin tones. The texture is creamy, so it makes it easy to blend. It doesn't feel heavy at all on the skin. I also like the sleek container. The amount of product in the package is also very generous. I tried it on my lips as well, but wouldn't use it that way again. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and definitely will repurchase!

Does anyone have any advice for a good & ideally inexpensive blush? That’s probably the category I use the least so I’m not sure what to try out!
