A Must Have for Everyone!

Ok, so I must tell you something.... I don't really have perfect skin. I know! So shocking! But I like to think that it gives hope to other women out there (like me) who want perfect skin but don't know how to get it. Fake Up Concealer is my number one first step for perfect skin. I do have other concealers, if I'm being truthful. But....well, Fake Up is the one I reach for the most. It's really easy to use! First I swipe Fake Up under my eyes where I need the most help. Then I dab a touch around my nose. Finally I finish off my touching up any blemishes I have. Just a dab is enough! After I apply I use my finger to blend. I've used concealer brushes with this product before, but really it does look best if you use a finger to blend. The product itself is super creamy and smooth. Very hydrating but not greasy so I'm never afraid to use Fake Up Concealer in my T-zone oily areas! Fake Up is not heavy or chalky. I find it to be light and smoothly opaque. It's just opaque enough to be light yet heavy enough to cover what I want it to cover. I always apply this first right after my face primer, before my foundation coverage. If I'm doing a light make-up day I will use Fake Up by itself, blend it well and then use a powder to complete my look. It's perfect alone or with foundation! I picked the lightest color for my concealer, it works brilliantly! My skin is very light toned, almost deceptively so as I'm actually lighter then you'd think when it comes to face product colors. I was happy the color was perfect for me! Last thing! This concealer stays put where I need it to despite whatever contouring I might do on top of it. It doesn't slide around if I sweat or if I get oily during the day. I use Fake Up for day, night and clubbing make-up. Surprisingly I'm still on my first tube, it is lasting forever despite my constant use. I'm definitely buying another when I run out. There's no way I'm going without my perfect skin concealer! Finally

For the longest time I have had trouble finding a concealer that not only could cover up the slight dark under circles I have but hydrate the area not leaving it dry or seem like its caked on. I have never really thought of Benefit as a "good" brand as I've tried a few of their products and didn't find them any special, until now. I walked into Sephora looking for eyeliner with my mom and ran into this little thing. I have to say we both fell in love with it! You just dab it on, under the eyes and perhaps a bit on the eyelids, blend it with your finger and see the results! It leaves your skin hydrated and smooth, the dark circles fade away and looks natural! We were so pleased with the results we both had to get it in our shades, I got it in light while my mother in medium. It is so far the best concealer that I have tried, not one has come close to giving the results like this one. If your into the matte look b/c your oily to begin with, I would not recommend this, but if you like a dewy look and like the "natural" look like me, then get this! You can always dab more for a night out! « less

Both amazing and diappointing

It's hard to know what star rating to give this, because I am very pleased but very disappointed simultaneously.I'm pleased because after 10+ years of looking for a concealer or foundation that matches my skintone enough that I don't have to plaster my entire face in order to blend in the only area I need covered- under my eyes. The light shade of fakeup matches my skin 100% perfectly. I can put a dot of it anywhere on my face and it doesnt even need blending. I am so happy!BUT....there are negatives.1. Coverage isn't great under my eyes and I still have to put my old foundation on underneath in order to get good cover.2. Apparently it's "crease controlling"....but this creases under my eyes like nothing ever has!! I've never experience creasing before with any foundation I've ever used- it's never even been an issue on my radar. Yet this one creases within minutes in the main folds, and even creates small creases to the outer edges from smiling. I'm only 26, I don't have wrinkles yet, it just creases and gathers from smiling.3. It doesn't last long. I find that by lunch it's already fallen off and I have to re-apply. To help this I've had to spend further money on a primer, and have lucked out on finding a great one that not only helps it stay on longer but also helps with the creasing (although can't fix that completely).4. It's so expensive for the quality and the amount you get. Almost £20 for a tiny stick, smaller than a lipbalm! Yes a little goes a long way because of the moisturising part, but it will run out within a month (maybe two if I stretch it) and I'm only using it under my eyes.So all in all, I'm not impressed with the fake up...but I still get giddy looking in the mirror outside and seeing how well it matches my skin colour. I'll be using it to find a different concealer/foundation to colour match to when I've almost run out, as I won't be buying it again if I can help it.I'd like to point out that I don't have difficult skin, not too dry or too greasy- just normal, although I know all products work differently on each person. I've always found all concealers/foundations (even cheap ones) stay on fine and provide good coverage, they just ever perfectly match my colour. If this was cheap, I wouldn't be quite as disappointed- but it's a lot of money for a small, and ultimately, inferior concealer. Less

I tried this on in the store a couple times before I decided to buy it. What got me hooked was the coverage and hydration it gives, and it blended so well with the makeup I already had on. I was hoping I hadn't made a mistake, because I had previously bought the Tarte creaseless concealer, which has similar claims, and ultimately regretted that- it wasn't a very good product for me, it's very sticky. After using it about a month now, it really has exceeded my expectations! I use it under my eyes and to cover redness, I've also been putting it on blemishes. No breakouts. It's great as a highlighter. It is very hydrating and makes my skin so soft and youthful-looking. If I try to put it on in a big hurry without blending it, it does settle into creases and feels a bit heavy. So I warm my fingers up before I pat it on and it just melts into my skin. It's great for days I don't want to do full makeup. I just swipe it under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, on my cupid's bow and I look refreshed. It never looks orangey like ALL other concealers I've tried. That is a huge plus for me! It blends very very well. So currently this is my most favorite concealer, and I will probably buy it again. « less

My concealer ALWAYS creases under my eyes, especially when I add powder, what tricks or concealer do y’all recommend?

An Ulta employee recommend this one to me. It’s hydrating for my dry skin and it’s very light weight. I haven’t had any problems with it so far.

Can anyone recommend a good affordable concealer that I can easily sheer out please?

I love this one. It’s hydrating and very easy to blend out. It has a sheer finish but you can build it up for more coverage.
