blends well

blends foundation into skin and helps dry or dull skin days

- Ulta User

then watched the becca videos and decided to give it a try, mostly for the promise of doing flawless foundation and cause apparently this gadget blends you face make up like magic

- Sephora User

i use it with the becca soft light blurring setting powder and it gives my skin a very natural smooth finish without it looking cakey and feeling heavy

- Sephora User

i find that the cream/gel really gets into my skin and makes it glow like i'm in the bahamas

- Sephora User

staying power

leaves a subtle glow - lasts all day - looks natural - perfect in every way

- Cult Beauty User

this little gem is the best product i have ever used, i use it for everything, i apply a thick layer all over face underneath foundation as a primer, my makeup stays perfect all day and numerous time been told i look "airbrushed" it gives the most amazing glow

- Cult Beauty User

light weight and adds just the right

- Sephora User

it gives you a nice summer glow and really stays in place, without being heavy

- Sephora User

the creaminess of the texture feels so nice on your skin and gives you that nice radiant healthy glow

- Skincarestore User

it’s a soft and fine powder that sits beautifully on the skin without giving a powdery texture

- Sephora User

has fallout

the hairs also fall out after a while

- Spacenk User

i figured the major fall out would stop after a few uses so i kept trying

- Sephora User

i bought this product in pearl over a year ago to highlight the high points of my face before applying a sheer bb cream for a natural radiant glowing dewy look without being too oily

- Sephora User

what works best for me is to put the highlighter on first, and then a sheer foundation over it, and that gives me a beautiful glow that lasts all day

Product of the Year!

Ok so let's get real. This brush isn't cheap. BUT if you think that you can trade so many other brushes (or not buy them at all!) for what this one brush does, it lessens the splurge a bit.I used it today for...-tinted moisturizer-concealer-becca beach tint-becca pressed skin perfector-bronzerIf worked beautifully with every single one. It isn't a gimmick at all!! It provides an airbrushed finish -- no cakey look or blotchy areas. The brush itself is extremely dense and soft as can be! I have not had any problems with shedding. Like most natural hair brushes, you may have a few fall out here in there, but that's not a big deal. The company put up a tutorial online (check their YouTube channel) that I found very helpful. I saw some reviews via YouTube that complained about the brush being too large to fit in their compacts (like the benefit blush and bronzers), but you have to think that Becca was probably creating a product made to work with Becca products, and that it does! :) Less

Video Review: The holy grail of highlighters!

The BECCA shimmering highlight line is our holy grail of highlighters. What makes them so different from a lot of the other highlighters on the market is that they are not only incredibly pigmented but have an almost creamy texture to them that lasts all day! They're finely milled and a little goes a long way. They make the skin look very natural glowy. They can be worn as subtle as you want or as a full on highlight! They are very pricey but I feel they are worth every penny. You do however have to be careful because if they are dropped they can shatter and the powder inside will break up. I believe that may have to do with it being so softly packed. We notice however that if you don't wear a foundation to first smooth out the skin the particles can accentuate any bumpy texture, pores or wrinkles on the skin.So as with any highlighter we would recommend priming your face with a good primer to minimize that.We would recommend a good fan brush or any brush that can subtly build up the highlight that you want. We love the whole color range and believe they have a color highlight that will be beautiful on everyone! Less

Gorgeous Glow From Within

I like these even more than the powder and creme bases! I have very pale skin with yellow-neutral undertones and Opal is the highlight color I have been searching for! It is seriously perfect! These add such a luminous, glowing, but very diffused, soft yet striking highlight. On days I don't wear much makeup, I'll use the Backlight Primer, use my damp Brauty Blender to add just some really sheer coverage with a powder foundation (Tarte Confidence), and I'll blend in some Opal on my inner lid, cheek crescent, and just a tad in the classic highlight spots. It is so beautiful and delicate, it's not greasy at all, doesn't make you look oily, it doesn't make my pores amplified, it stays put all day, it truly is perfect.

a little goes a long way

I got this in the color pearl. I am very fair (110 in MUFE HD Foundation). It has no real pigment to it, but just provides a nice subtle sheen. I think this product will last forever because you really have to use just the tiniest amount on each cheekbone. I could see how you could go overboard if you use too much, but it is just a sheen, not chunky glitter or anything. It has a smooth, easily blendable texture. It has a little bit of a perfume-y scent to it that I'm not crazy about, but once it's applied, you really don't smell it so it's not a huge deal.

Favorite Kabuki Brush

I absolutely love this BECCA Soft Kabuki brush. I was lucky enough to receive it in a complimentary VoxBox and now use it daily. The bristles are dense yet soft, allowing you to pick up just the right amount of powder. Its overall shape is flat, which gives a nice airbrushed finish every time. The handle is large enough to feel in control when buffing and blending without feeling bulky. (I totally cant stand the too tiny feel of most kabuki brush handles.) I have also noticed no fallout or bristles left behind on my face after using. Thats a huge plus! You definitely need this brush in your makeup collection!

I’m looking to change my whole makeup routine. I have been doing “glam” makeup for a long time now and I’m kinda getting too lazy for it. I spend way too much time doing it. Like 30-45 minutes, sometimes an hour. I want to be able to do natural no makeup makeup in like 5-10 minutes. I’ve also been focusing taking care of my skin, and learning to love what’s one the surface. ☺️✨ Any good products you’d recommend? Techniques you like using? I’ve been looking for a good bb cream or light foundation that’s glows / is semi dewy. I’m over the matte. It doesn’t look good to me anymore. 🤣 I also need a great natural looking (liquid) highlighter. What’s your preference?

Sounds dumb to ask... but I’m going to anyways. What are some go-to products to make your face have that dewy look? I feel like no matter how much moisturizer i put on.. it never looks dewy. Help.

Use this under your favorite foundation. Recently i have been using Covergirl Skin Milk and it is extremely lightweight, it is dewy and long wearing. If you’re looking for more of a ‘my skin but better’ look, i recommend this duo. it always helps to use a serum or a good moisturizer before applying your foundation as well.

What is a good way to prep your skin on order to have a really glowy makeup look. I use minimal products that’s why I want my skin to look really hydrated and glowy when I add products. Please help. #skincare #nomakeupmakeup

Not really a way to prep your skin... but finding a great moisturizer is big. I am always striving for that dewy look. I will either dot on my foundation and then add the highlighter in between the dots and blend it all together. Or I will just mix the highlighter directly into my foundation before application. Right now I use the Wander Beauty Nude Illusion Foundation with the Becca Liquid highlighter. I also stick to only cream products. I use the Benefit Cosmetics Hoola bronzer and Milk Makeup Cream Blush and it helps keep that dewy look and your skin hydrated. I always feel like powder makeup just sits on top of my face and sucks the moisture right out where as the cream makeup I feel sinks into the skin and keeps the moisture. Hope that helps!!
