pore minimizing

looks great and blurs my pores

- Sephora User

it minimizes my pores, blurs the skin and makes it look so smooth

- Sephora User

at first i was sceptical because it felt like i was putting water on my face but it leaves my skin looking flawless and it's so lightweight

- Ulta User

i’ve used all the heavy hitters, and this one is by the far the best

- Sephora User

staying power

this is the most unique powder i’ve ever used, it feels wet when you first apply it but sets everything so beautifully giving an airbrushed look & really helps your makeup last & stay on all day

- Sephora User

this truly is an innovative long lasting quality product

- Ulta User

no flashback

i wore this powder all day and went out with it on and it held up really well with no flash back on pictures

- Ulta User

does not leave a white cast, nor does it leave any sort of weird layer on the skin

- Beccacosmetics User

under eye

good for under eye

sets concealer beautifully and gives an additional blurring effect (which is great for those with crepey skin under the eyes)

- Ulta User

i have such dry skin and all setting powders i have used so far make my undereyes look so crusty, but this powder leaves my skin smooth without the dryness; it feels really cooling on the skin

- Sephora User

smoothes, covers, brightenes and hides imperfections

- Sephora User

right now i'm using this powder to set my anastasia beverly hills luminous foundation and it is so beautiful, i didn't even need a touch up through the day

- Beccacosmetics User

blends well

it does everything i need it to blends my makeup give me a great finish for my make up and sets it

- Sephora User

it’s the craziest feeling powder but it sinks into the skin so nicely and doesn’t look like powder and i think because it’s hydrating it keeps my oils down during the day

- Sephora User

color accuracy

doesn't oxidize

it's a nice shade, i use it on me and my mom who's significantly darker than me and there's no change in how it sets or it doesn't change the color of my products underneath

- Beccacosmetics User

the price is a little high considering it oxidizes sometimes, but otherwise it's a nice product

- Beccacosmetics User

this by far is my favourite product, i love the way it feels cold once it hits your face, it takes the shine away and gives you this natural flawless finish

- Beccacosmetics User

it leaves a natural finish and flawless touch to my skin keeping it hydrated and blurry

- Ulta User

best use

it sets make up to perfection, evens skin tone and altogether makes my face look more “together”; including blending fine lines init’s like magic in a box

- Spacenk User

love the shade it blends perfectly with my fair/light skin tone

This is an ultra-translucent

This is an ultra-translucent setting powder that sets makeup for extended wear with a revitalizing, mist-like effect on skin. This weightless powder sets and refreshes makeup for a silky smooth, invisible finish. Formulated with 50 percent water and glycerin, this powder creates a mist-like sensation on skin, for a seamless finish and comfortable feel. Ultra-fine, light-reflecting powders float over skin to smooth and blur the look of fine lines and imperfections. Reapply it as needed to keep makeup looking fresh all day. SO i was extremely surprised that i love this powder as much as i do. It quickly replaced my other powders. Its a super finely milled powder and it sets your makeup so nicely. Its also nice to refresh your makeup throughout the. I realize though i can't bake with this powder. But what i will do for a more highlighted under eye effect is that ill apply a heavy amount under my eyes and blend it out right away. letting it sit under my eyes leaves patched on me for some reason. I personally love the wet feel you get when you initially apply this powder. It's so refreshing. I have combination skin and this powder works amazing for me. My only complaint has to do with the cap inside that prevent the powder from spilling. I don't know if maybe mine is defected but i have difficulty opening that lid every time and as a result end up making a mess when i do force it open and the powder ends up spilling out. I won't give it less stars becuase of that because the powder is amazing and having that sifter and lid is convenient, they just need to make it so its a little easier to open. Totally recommend this powder though overall! Less

really wanted to like it, absolutely hated it

I really really wanted to love this product but I just couldn't! I'm already reluctant to powders due to having a more dry skin type and not being a fan of matte finishes and I had high hopes for this product. I conducted a two day project where I tried it with my daily holy grain foundation and on the second day I tried it with only BECCA products. On day one with my products immediately the powder seemed the wrong shade as it made me orange. Through the day instead of feelings refreshed I felt cakey and dry. I could barely eat because the product came off so easily and by the end I think my napkin had more makeup than my face. Day two was a bit better my shade matched but I felt so caked on as is with the foundation and concealer so once I added on the powder it didn't feel any better. I went through my day and it lasted longer than day one and I actually could eat and the product didn't rub off. Honestly if you have dry skin or even combo skin I don't recommend at all, you just feel so caked on in the end. Also careful with trying to use this product outside of BECCA products. Attached are photos of day 1 and day 2Becca Hydra Mist Set Refresh Powder I received this product complimentary for review purposes. « less

One of a kind!

I've added this to my holy grails list because it worked so well for me. I used the flat top kabuki brush this came with to set my face as well as a beauty blender to set under my eyes. The foundation I use is pretty mattifying on its own so I wanted to see if this powder would equalize it, and it definitely made me feel like it did, but it didn't make me oily if that makes sense. This set my foundation beautifully and made my skin look and feel so smooth. At the end of my shift, I used this to touch up and my skin looked just as good as it did in the morning (I always get oily on my forehead despite what products I use). For under my eyes, this set my concealer very well and I was surprised that this didn't cause any weird reaction, it being 50% water. It's the coolest yet weirdest sensation ever when applying this. It really feels like you're splashing water on your face or that your brush is wet... but it's not! I really enjoy this powder esp in comparison to my Laura mercier and too faced peach setting powder. The other powders are wonderful and make my skin very matte looking which I do like. But this powder makes my skin look super SOFT which looks and feels 10x more natural. If there's a tip I could suggest, it's to be very light handed. You do not need a lot of this powder! A little goes a lonngg way and I believe it may work better that way too. Also considering there's not that much product, I appreciate how it is not necessary to build this.I received this product complimentary for review. My opinions are 100% my own! Less

One of my favorite pieces in my make up bag! So smooth and looks natural. However, I have larger pores so so prep before putting this on is a requirement.

Miracle powder

This powder has some kind of voodoo magic in it. I have extremely dry skin!! I only use powder in certain areas in very small amounts. I can use this all over. When you apply it you can feel a wet coolness. It does not make your skin feel tight and dry or accentuate dry patches. It feels like nothing on your face it also blurs imperfections. A few of my followers on IG told me I looked angelic. I'm infatuated with the cooling sensation, I couldn't stop putting this on lol. I know I applied at least 2 heavy layers but it never looked cakey or dry like other powders. My makeup lasted all day and my face felt hydrated. I have tried a lot of powders(I own at least 75) I have nothing like this. this truly is short of a miracle for people with dry skin. I think if your normal or oily you could still use it because it does set your foundation. If you're very oily you need to use an oil control primer then apply your foundation. Use this as a last step to smooth & blur. The finish is a very soft matte. It gives your skin a natural healthy glow. There's absolutely no shimmer! The container itself is also very unique. There's a pop out lid and underneath is a mesh netting. You lightly push your brush into the netting to pick up the product. When you're done make sure you snap the lid down and screw on the lid. Some people don't like loose powder because it can be messy. There is a sticky paper covering the mesh. I did not open mine all the way. I dip my brush in at a slight angle to pick up the product. I have also found the best technique to apply is the push and roll method. When you're done use your brush to lightly buff across your whole face to make sure everything is even. I finally found my holy grail powder!! Less

I am looking for a hydrating foundation for dry skin that gives me a dewy/glowing or illuminating finish. My skin is fair (usually 2nd from lightest shade). What would be the best? Or do you have any other suggestions? Also would like to find a setting powder that’s hydrating and/or illuminating. I tried too faced born this way translucent powder, but it seems to be matte and drying. Any suggestions?

My go-to hydrating setting powder is the @Hydra-Mist & Set Refresh Powder , and my favorite dewy foundation for my super dry skin is the @Blur Liquid Matte Foundation . Don’t be fooled by the “Matte” in its name. I will tell you, though, most of my glowy magic I’ve achieved through a glowy moisturizer like the @Oxygen Ex Glow Sion Rich Moisture Cream Jar and a glowy primer like the @No Filter Blurring Photography Primer before I’ve even put any makeup on my face+a glowy setting spray to bring the skin back to life after I’ve put everything on. The @Make It Dewy Setting Spray has been a favorite lately.

Does anyone know of a full coverage concealer AND translucent powder for the under eye that won’t make my under eyes look dry? I have tried every product and the moment that I set my under eyes with powder, they look extremely dry and crusty (ew). I naturally have pretty dry under eyes and I try my best to keep them moisturized, but it seems like every time I set them, they look dry patchy and crusty. Help! It’s mainly when I set the under eyes that I have the problem of that dry flakiness. I just want it to look seamless without having to make it look bad after I set them! Does anyone have the same stubble?! #dry

I’ve been having an issue finding a full coverage foundation and setting powder combo that doesn’t feel as though all the moisture is being sucked out of my skin. I cleanse and moisturize, prime with green color correcting primer , and use a sponge for foundation. I like full coverage because of the rosacea, and I like a matte finish but after applying powder, I crease, and crack, and overall feel super dry. I’m over 40, have fine lines to boot. Any suggestions?

I am in love with this Becca powder! When you put it on your skin it literally feels wet, it's so crazy. But I think it would work great for dry skin. It is a super translucent powder so its purpose is not really to bake under your eyes or use for contouring but it does work to set your makeup into place to last all day

Just wondering what setting powders my dry skin ladies are using. I actually have only found one that works with my skin and that’s the hourglass veil powder. It’s just super expensive which if it works I gotta do what I gotta do but I’d like other recommendations just in case!

Us dry skin girls should stick to pressed setting powders the loose powders are usually better for oily skin. As for a loose powder that works with dry skin I say the Becca hydra mist set and refresh powder is really hydrating and unique but only if the shade works for you
