LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pearl!!!

Great product!!! Love the "Pearl" color, but the original "Brightening" (sort of a gold color) works well, too. I have very pale skin with dark circles around my eyes, so I always look like I stayed up all night: this product really helps! The original "Brightening" was too "warm" and looked a bit sickly yellow. The "Pearl" is much better for "cool" skin tones. It looks very natural. Saves time by putting primer and base color on at the same time. It also helps avoid creasing or flaking by using one less layer. Doesn't dry out skin. Gentle to sensitive eyes. Doesn't smudge during the day, but removes easily with soap or makeup remover.

don't go without this !

I've been a BE user for years and recommend others use the lines, most daily (I work at a plastic surgeons office where beauty tips are big). I have a lot of BE eyecolors and mix and match them often for unique looks that match my scrubs and OR hat. I had never tried the eyelid primer and relied on just a concealer instead as my eyes are deep set and dark. I bought this product right before Christmas and OMG my colors pop now! The glimpse colors that I would rarely wear because they were often tooo subtle, now have a place in everyday makeup. The primer applies nicely, you only need very little and dries quickly. I found that not only does it help my makeup stay longer, the brightening effect helps around my dark eyes, and there is no smudging or creasing after long hours. Not to mention the amount of eyecolor you need is significantly less than what I had been using. When I first applied the shadow, ihad to start over because the amount I normally use was wayyy too much with the primer. It definitely extend your shadows 'go' power. I can see this tiny tube lasting forever too. If you buy loose powder shadows like B.E. You need this! Also keeps my cateye eyeliner look from smudging which is a plus! « less

Original is the best.

When I take the time to do my makeup, I want it to last. I used to get so frustrated that I would put in the time and effort in the morning, but by 3pm you couldn’t really tell I put any make up that day. And then my sister showed me the Prime Time. Now, just take a few seconds – literally, to put a tiny amount on one pointer finger, rub between my two pointer fingers, then swipe on each eye from eye lashes to eye brows. Boom, done. A small amount goes a long ways. So one tube will last a long time. I have NOT been impressed with the colored and brightening versions. I guess the sequels just don’t live up to the original. This is super smooth, and doesn’t feel heavy or chalky. I wear it over my foundation. I wear contacts and it never bothers my eyes. If I get a little sloppy, because it is not very colored you can’t tell, which is nice. It doesn’t change the color of my eye shadow, and if anything makes the colors more vibrant. I like that I get the intense color without having to ‘build it up’ by putting a lot on. For me, it is totally worth spending the extra $18 so my make up stays on. Because if your make up is falling off, isn’t that kind of a waste of time and money if it doesn’t last? Less

I'm honestly completely new to using eyelid primer, so maybe I'm missing something, but from my experience this stuff was pretty awful. It made my lids super sticky and visibly dry-looking. I've got the beginnings of age lines around my lids, and this stuff seemed to enhance them like crazy, which is obviously not ideal. When I applied powder eyeshadow over it, it caused the shadow to look super patchy and blend terribly. Also, when I tried using this product after only a few months after buying, it seemed to have separated and become clumpy, and would pill up when I applied it to my lids... Not sure if maybe it expired, but if so, that is a crazy short shelf-life for a product like this. I'm glad I was able to return it for store credit, because otherwise I would have had to just throw it in the garbage, which would have been a total waste of $20. Less

It simply............. WORKS!

A thin layer is all that's needed and your shadow will stay on all day with NO creasing.Primer goes on smoothly and dries quickly to a very smooth & matte finish, making shadow application easy.TIP: Apply very carefully, making sure to ONLY get the primer on your eyelids! example: if you touch the bridge of your nose with primer on your finger, it will look "ashy" and "cakey" when you put foundation or well rested on in that spot because the minerals will cling to the primer.

What’s a good eyeshadow primer for people with sensitive skin? The TooFaced primer works well on my eyes (but I’m not supporting them financially anymore) and the Colourpop primer burned them.

I actually like the Bare minerals primer. NYX also has a good variety.
