YES! Finally!!

I have been searching for something to use during the day to neutralize the deeper pigmentation of my lids, and brighten my sallow complexion, but not be to shimmery. The Urban Decay eyelid primer was just too frosty for me. I LOVE this stuff and use it as my go to every day. It lasts all day, but I do have to check on the crease and blend out a couple times throughout the day.

Hard to use.....

I wanted to love this. It is such a pretty color. I bought the "wine" color.....it is not wine color.....but I knew that when I bought it as I tried it on my hand in store. It is a very dark shade of taupe bordering brown. I was so excited to get home and try it on. I watched a few video's on how to use it and was ready. Well, it didn't go as planned. I consider myself a eye shadow wearing regular so it's not like I didn't know what I was doing or was a novice. I don't/can't wear regular cream shadows as I have oily eyelids and they feel like someone put vaseline on my eyelid so I went in looking for a cream to powder shadow similar to and more affordable than younique. The lady suggested this one. When I applied it to my hand it was smooth, a beautiful color and blended nicely. I was sold. However, when I got home and applied it to my lid the first time I got way too much. I wiped away and reapplied a very small amount and attempted to blend. This dries in seconds.....like nearly instantly with very little blending room time. I tried again, with the same results. So I went with it and tried to build with regular powdered eye shadow to blend and mute a little. Hardly anything covers it up....I could still see the line where I applied it even after applying several layers of other shadows. I made it work but to say I loved or even liked it would be an over statement. I feel like you would have to be an expert to apply this properly. I DID like the fact that it didn't crease, stayed put, worked very well as a primer (which would have been good for a lighter color). The texture after application reminded me of an all day lip color. The kind that dries and you have to remove later with something because I tried to remove this with just water and that wasn't happening. I had to get out eye make-up remover. If you can get this to blend correctly it would be FABULOUS for the pool!!!! As is right now I'm just not a fan. « less

Color- Barely Nude

I own Blushing Pink and just bought Barely Nude. At first Barley Nude seemed like a nothing color- like a primer, but it's very pigmented, completely covering my eyelid discolorations, and works as a shadow. Both these colors work for this quick look: Apply it all over my lid (no need to add primer first), contour my crease with a shimmer powder shadow in a deep color, blend, top off with brow bone highlight , maybe an inner corner lighten-er, plus eyeliner & mascara of course. Done. This gives me a wide-eyed look that stays put all day.

This is a really nice every day eyeshadow

So i got this not knowing what to expect from it but ive ended up really liking it. I got the Blushing Pink which shows up as a lovely natural looking pink tint on the eyelids with a little shimmer. This product is not made to give intense colour, its a tint which is why its called BB, like the BB cream we use is a tint, so is this, if you want crazy pigment then this isnt for you. You dont need much product, i put a little on the back of my hand and apply with a fingertip which makes the product easier to work with. I apply it just as i would a shadow base but i dont go beyond my crease as the shimmer would be a little obvious if i went all the way up to the brow bone. The product blends easily and dries to a powder finish so you can use other shadows if you like. I like to apply this to the lid and then buff a subtle light brown into the crease for definition once it is dry, this creates a perfect every day look that looks like it took way more time than it did. I read a review that mentioned flaking but i could only see that happening if you applied way too much as it dries to a powder but ive never had that issue as i dont use the applicator and apply with a finger using the "less is more" approach. You can always add more later. Overall this is a lovely product and great for more natural "every day" type makeup looks. « less
