Hey Guys, I am looking for a good long wear natural finish foundation! I tried several such as, Too Faced Born this way, Mac Studio Fix, Charlotte Tilbury Flawless finish ... list goes on and on... do any of you have experience with nars or urban decay? Any recommendations? I have oily, sensitive acne prone skin.. thank you.

This is what I use and my skin sounds a lot like yours. It’s specifically made for sensitive, acne prone skin, and it really helps me. Just be careful though, a little goes a long way 😂

Any suggestions for setting powders? I currently use the airspun loose face powder in shade translucent and it gives me an ashy look. When I use it on my mother who is of darker complexion it works perfectly 😭 I get creases under my eyes as well.

my acne has always been a huge insecurity of mine, until recently I started forcing myself to see it as normal rather than a disease. I’ve tried many products but they never have really cleared me up. I’ve heard that raw African black soap is really good for acne (which I have quite a bit of) my skin used to be a lot worse years back but never to the point of cystic acne, as of right now it’s very controlled but I break out easily. Any advice on what brand has the best raw black soap or any good cleansers to clear up acne? I don’t have much acne but I do have the little tiny bumps that won’t go away and a few acne bumps here and there.

How do you bronze naturally and beautifully? Ive used so many different bronzers, and theyre all so orange to me. Not only that, but my applications skills are flawed as well, as it looks messy and unnatural on my face 😔

I’ve fallen in love with the Morphe bronzers, I use the shade iconic. I have fair skin and I think it’s the perfect amount of color, without making me look unnatural or orange. Plus, the price is super reasonable!!

When I use foundation, it’s simply too thick, I don’t like the way it looks or feels on my skin. I’ve resorted to using a concealer that’s my skin tone as a foundation, but obviously that isn’t the best solution. What should I be looking for for a lighter wear that’s still something I can build off of? Looking for good light wear foundations or any other suggested product.

@Channy Monahan this foundation looks like skin with a healthy glow, very beautiful, natural looking On days I don’t want to put foundation all over my face I just use concealer only on the areas I need it, currently Elf’s hydrating camo concealer but I also really love Maybelline’s age rewind eraser concealer

i have really red skin on my cheeks and especially towards the bottom of my face. it’s pretty dry-normal type as well, but i don’t wanna wear such heavy foundation this summer. so does anyone have 1. tips on keeping the redness down 2. recommendations on bb creams that will be light but enough to cover the redness?

i’m the same way, my skin gets pretty red around my cheeks/ lower face. i like to use the Hey Honey: Trick & Treat CC Cream. it’s made to cover redness/rosacea & discoloration problems. i really like this product because it’s lightweight and actually covers most of my redness. it’s also great for this time of year (summer) because it’s so lightweight and hydrating without feeling oily or greasy. i love it.

Any of the dr jart+ products that contain tiger grass work amazing! My favorite would be this treatment or the tiger grass cream. This treatment covers redness and gives some coverage to the skin. You are also able to build on this if you need extra coverage. The tiger grass cream is a thick moisturizer that removes redness and gives a great base to the face. I have been using this cream as my primer!

I’m looking for a good foundation. I have dry skin that gets oilier as the day goes on. I don’t wear makeup during the week so it’s mostly just for going out on the weekend. I don’t mind spending a little more since it lasts me longer. I’m using Kat Von D foundation right now, but it doesn’t leave a smooth and poreless matte finish like I’m looking for and ends up looking kind of cakey. Desperately need recommendations!

Lancôme Teinte Idole Ultra Stay foundation. I have the same skin and it is amazing. Doesn’t crease around the nose area like other foundations. Matte finish. This picture was taken around 11:00 am. Foundation was applied around 5:30 am.

I need a good hydrating, full coverage concealer. I’ve been using the tarte 16 hour wear, although it is hydrating, it isn’t giving me the coverage that I want. I have dry, very sensitive, and acne prone skin. I have tried other concealers such as maybelline, but it still gives my skin that dry patchy look even though I have a heavy moisturizer on. I would like to be able to have it match my skin tone since I don’t wear makeup as much. I need some recommendations!!

*good foundation for oily skin* I need a reliable foundation for my Oily skin. Right now, the one I use separates on my face after a few hours. I put on a tun of powder and it still doesn’t help. After an hour or two I am left feeling self conscious about my skin and makeup. Please help! I am willing to spend some money on the foundation, as long as it works well. Any suggestions? #Ineedtofixmyface

It's almost impossible to cover your pores completely when you have larger pores. I've tried tons of primers and this by far for me is the best and it's only $7.99. Don't rub the the primer in, push it in your pores and Nikkia Joy's cosmetics has the best pore blurring powder. Try those!

Ya girl over here needs help with my eyeshadow I don’t usually wear eyeshadow because I live in Arizona and summertime kills my makeup especially my eyes. Cause I tend to sweat underneath or sometimes around my eyes 👀. And I also think I have a type of eyelid that causes my eyeshadow to not be able to be see as great as normal eyelids. I think it’s called hooded eyelids and thank fully if I can still find them I found some videos that show how to get ur eyes to look better. But I don’t know where to start. First and foremost I don’t have money for anything expensive but could possibly splurge on a good item. If needed. I have green eyes 👀 that change colors sometimes and i dont know what shades would make my eyes look really nice and pop. And not sure with brushes or eyeshadow primers if that’s even what you call em haha 😂 ladies please feel free to give me any advice on eyeshadow or makeup in general cause I still would consider myself to be a newbie to the makeup world. I’m in desperate need of some help with this lol and I’ll only be able for the most part to buy products offline so give me any good tip y’all have I’d greatly appreciate it thanks so much 🔎🔎🆘💃🏼✨💁🏼‍♀️💅🏻🍀💄🙏🏼🤞🏼👗👠👜🕶🐛🦋🎯

Hi there! Warm browns look great with green eyes. A very affordable brown palette would be from Morphe and you can find those at the store Ulta. There’s almost ALWAYS coupons for Ulta going around so I recommend printing some out or just showing it on you phone (with scan bar) since you can only go in store. Good but affordable brushes that I love are from JessUp but those are online only. Another cheaper alternative are wet n wild and those you can find in drug stores! When holding brushes always hold then from the end and never close to the bristles. For eyeshadow I don’t use eyeshadow primer (I have hooded lids, too) I use a lighter concealer which also saves money by multipurposing your products. I apply a thin layer and don’t set it then start shadow from the darkest color to the lightest. Since you are a beginner I’d recommend setting the concealer with a light beige shadow then start with the lightest color first, it’ll be easier for you to get a smoother blend. Cut creases always are the best for hooded eyes, but since you’re a beginner I would hold off until you’ve had practice. (watch videos specifically for cutting the crease with hooded eyes!!) If you have any more questions, I’d love to answer them!

hey everyone <3 i’m in need of some serious help plz. i cant seem to make my makeup last throughout the day, even though i use a primer and a setting spray. i’ve been using the Lumi Magic Primer and the Too Faced Hangover 3-1 Setting Spray. by lunchtime, my makeup starts to look gross and i look super oily. it’s weird because my face almost looks better when i don’t use these products, except the problem i’m faced with then, is that the sun has the tendency of just straight up melting my foundation off, so i want to find a new primer and setting spray that’ll keep my face looking fresh throughout the whole day. any suggestions as to what i could try?? preferably nothing too expensive? :) thank u all for your help! <3 also, as far as my skin type goes, i mentioned earlier that my face gets super oily around lunch time. i went to the spa the other day, and the lady giving me a facial asked what skin type i have. i responded with combination, but she later on said that my skin is more on the dry side, and that all the oil i have is just compensating for how dry it is. i’m not sure if this matters when choosing a product, but just thought i’d mention it. thank you again for all your help!

Trying to find a new exfoliate for my skin. I have combo skin (oily, sensitive (sometimes) & dry on my upper forehead. I always get dry spots around my upper forehead around my temples, I’ve tried the Tatcha Rice exfoliate worked great but it’s expensive. Anything not as expensive? So I’ve been having an issue with my EOS lip balm. My lips are red, irritated, cracking/peeling. I’ve been putting Chapstick on during the day and Vaseline on at night. Almost a month now and I’m still not at 100%. Any products that could help/that I could use long term as a lip balm?

I’ve been using this lip balm and/or the FAB lip morning and night. It keeps my lips feeling smooth when I stay on top of it. I got it at Ulta and it came with a kit at the time with rose water setting spray that was $15. Hope this helps 😊

For as long as I can remember every foundation I’ve used just breaks apart on my cheeks and between my eyebrows REALLY bad. Like noticeably bad. People have pointed it out because the foundation will just collect and make my dead skin look like it’s about to flake off even if I exfoliate beforehand. I need a foundation that’s actually for dry skin please! #help #foundation #dryskin

Make sure you put a thick moisturizer on after you exfoliate and then before foundation use a good hydrating primer. Also a MAJOR key for me is using a beauty blender to apply my foundation!! Brushes are terrible for dry skin! Here are some of the products I use.

Hey guys I’m new so hello! But I just wanted to ask if y’all know any good foundation for oily skin? It can be drug store or name brand. My favorites from drug store are (Nyx can’t stop, won’t stop..colourpop, catrice) my favorite from name brand are (Estee Lauder, Fenty, Makeup Forever stick, Becca) I’m really oily on my nose so what are some good ways to not be as oily and a good foundation that will make look beat no matter how oily? 🙌🏼 lol
