"absolutely love the new soft glam palette, i have the abh modern renaissance and prism palette which i love, this palette has the formula of the modern renaissance palette, blends well as expected, very pigmented, you can achieve so many looks with this palette, i have mature eyes and it takes a little extra work for me, lol, but abh palettes makes it much easier, ladies if you have mature eyes like i do, get this palette, makes those eyes look much younger and really pop, a must have, thanks abh"

Blends well, pigmented, not creasing
I thought about spending close to 50€ on a makeup item for yeeears ever since Modern Renaissance came out. I finally decided to place an order for Soft Glam because I would be able to use it more since theres obviously more natural colors than in MR. So generally, based on color story only, Id recommend SG over MR because the everyday woman will get more use out of the SG shadows. Keep in mind, before this my go to palette was a drugstore palette which worked fine, but I had to dig my brush in to get the pigment on there, never had to tap off my brush because girl you needed every bit of pigment you could get. Then I used Soft Glam for the first time and BOY is it a different league. The shadows are VERY soft though so use a very light hand when putting your brush in. You really only need 2 light taps to get a good first layer of, for example, Orange Soda in your crease (if youre fair like me). So far I havent had a single issue with the mattes as long as you use a light hand and layer carefully, youre gonna get a really nice blend even if youre not a pro. I personally still struggle a bit with the shimmers. Theyre pretty and all, but Glistening and Fairy dont really up my drugstore shimmers. That was kind of a let down. However, Rose Pink,Sultry and Bronze have really nice pigmentation and a good amount of glitter fallout with that. Made that mistake once, gonna do my eyes first when I work with the shimmers from now on. The brush is okay. The blending side does the work, is a bit cheap though. It shed a good bit when I used it the first couple times. It stops though. The fact that its a bit scratchy wont stop though. Not terrible, but not comfortable. The shader side is reaaal soft and nice though. I mainly use it for my lower lashline.

Patchy, pigmented, has fallout
I've wanted to try an ABH palette for ages a as my friend swears by them, I mainly use revolution/revolution pro palettes because they're affordable but I really wanted to try something a little more pricey, I really expected this to be more pigmented and blend nicely etc etc. I was so disappointed the pigment was awful, I had to build it up loads! There is so much fall out, like I've seen cheap children's make up with less fall out. The shimmer barely shimmered compared to my usual cheaper palettes. Blending was sort've average, could've been worse but i didnt pay £43 for average. I decided to use this palette on 1 eye and use revolution on the other eye in as close shades I could, and the revolution eye blended and came out way better than this and its literally a 6th of the price! As you can tell by the length of this essay, I'm furious! All that money and the stuff I already had and could've bought way more of, was 10x better! Grrrrrrrrr don't even bother buying this.
